Just came back from an amazing stay at the Santuary NYC Retreats. A true sample of excellent hospitality. Great location, extremely clean & comfortable. Without a doubt an amazing place to stay in lower Manhattan. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff that were truly amazing. Will be back soon.

Loved our stay here. And enjoyed the yoga classes too.
It’s a very busy part of town and not always the quietest of folk in the street below but even still it was an enjoyable stay Nice breakfast weekdays and they accommodated our late luggage collection aswell … We were in Om suite I slept on the foldout bed which wasn’t great maybe I was a little bony for it but the springs did cause discomfort but another mattress was given once they were aware Would stay again although I think if you are less able bodied ie walking difficulties the subway is a fair distance to walk and the bus stop only a little nearer. Midtown is a 45-50 minute journey from E Houston and Ave C or 30 on the F train from Delancey / Essex St
JFK 45-60 mins by cab.
Also the site is vegetarian which wasn’t a problem with a deli opposite we enjoyed Tuscan panini when we weren’t eating out. Nice little place Namaste.

Rooms are spacious and well-appointed; ironing board, iron, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries, and glassware in the kitchen. Staff are friendly and helpful, and will fix problems quickly and effectively. Conveniently close to a Bodega, and within walking distance of a metro station.

We just loved that place, the staff and the neighborhood — six stars from Denmark.

Very professional response for the inconvenience, that being the room double booked, not ready on our arrival, Though the management organized another motel to be refunded also waiting on refund & offered first night of parking free also waiting for refund, Breakfast superb, room clean, nothing was to much trouble considering the fiasco.

Nice location, and nice rooms. There were some things though that weren't working. The television didn't work very well and one morning there wasn't any warm water. Besides that it was good. Only stayed for two nights.

Fabulous little apartments in a quieter part of New York's Lower East Side equipped with kitchenettes. Great value, lovely staff. Would highly recommend.

Nice place, great service, cool location in an up and coming funky area with lots of awesome food locations near by. Room A/C a little noisy and poor Wi-Fi in our room (other rooms better our location to router was far). I would stay again no problems.

A little oasis in the centre of New York. Fabulous accommodation and staff that were so helpful. The breakfast was great and location was ideal for everything we wanted to see. Would highly recommend xxx.

Stayed 5 nights in the Vishnu and it was perfect for me and my boyfriend. The apartment was larger than expected, clean, and well maintained. The staff was prompt in meeting us upon arrival and available to help any time we had questions. The apartment was quiet and restful and located in a safe neighborhood full of great restaurants, bars and fun people watching opportunities. I'd recommend this for anyone looking to have a "neighborhood" experience instead of a hotel.

We stayed in the Buddha suite and could not have had a lovelier place to stay while we were in New York for the week. From the moment we arrived late in the evening from Norway to the early morning taxi pickup on our way to Washington Dc the staff helped make our stay stress free and fantastic, everyone was so helpful and not least friendly.
The whole area was safe and we loved all the street art projects, bars restaurants and the whole atmosphere of Lower east side. We will never go passed the Sanctuary when returning to Manhattan. Thank you Mario and all the staff for wonderful service.

Well situated in the fantastic Lower East Side, a peaceful place to stay in frantic NYC. Nice people there, discrete, helpful when needed.
