Review of New York Hilton Midtown 4*

I am writing this review a bit late. However, it is better late than never. I came to to this hotel on Nov 1st 2017. When we arrived after 5 pm we got our room and it was dirty. There was chicken on the floor by the chair and dust everywhere. I did dare to smell the pillows because I knew that those would be stinky, and THEY were! disgusting stench of dirty head on those pillows. My friend was with me and she took pictures. I then asked for another room and got another one to another disappointment! Not as dirty, but the restroom paint was falling apart and the shower was so gross. I booked my room at this hotel because of the name. It was already 6 pm or so and called the front office, asked for a manager and NOTHING. We went down to the lobby and just asked to get my money back! The manager finally came out and didn't say anything! I also warned them about making sure they returned every penny! My friend and I were at this hotel lobby looking for another hotel! AND WE FOUND ONE! It was CAMBRIA! and guess what? It wasn't as expensive and when you walk into their rooms! they smell fresh and clean! and THE PILLOWS SMELL LIKE CLEAN washed linen! I am writing review now because I am going back to NY and will NOT BOOK this place ever again. I was reading other reviews from other hotels and realized how important it is to share the good and bad stories one might have about hotels. Mine, unfortunately with this dump was not good. Oh, and don't bother apologizing now because I didn't even get a call back then or a apology by your manager then.
