After changing my room twice I finally got the best room I’ve ever had slept like a baby and was very comfortable the only feedback I would give is that they need to put a Keurig coffee maker in each room with some pods. Everything is so expensive in New York City they can at least have free-flowing coffee in the lobby for guests or coffee in the room.

Very conveniently located. Loved their steel cut oatmeal for breakfast. Conference fit perfectly I their ballrooms and meeting rooms.

Was a nice hotel, rooms spacious and very comfy. Most staff were nice and polite although came across a couple who were rude. If I was to return to New York I would return to the hotel and would recommend, it was just 2 staff that slightly let it down.

Stayed here for the NYC Marathon. Great accommodations. Friendly staff. I definitely plan on staying here again!

The food at the hotel restaurant, Herb N Kitchen, is so terrible. We tried to eat dinner on Tuesday night, and the crispy chicken sandwich was soggy, the “cheese” was gummy, and the arugula was GRAY! Never staying here again.

Things were broken in the room, AC didn’t work. We requested repair and nobody ever came to fix it. Housekeeping took our towels and didn’t replace them. Had to call 5 times to get someone to bring us new towels. Then they told us at check in that with our reservation we had a $35 drink credit that we could use. We used it once didn’t even add up to $35 total and they charged us $68 for those 2 drinks for something they said was a free $35 credit. Also didn’t inform us parking was $75 a night. Worse hotel experience I’ve ever had. Don’t book here find somewhere else to stay.

My family of 4 checked in on 3/14 for a 3 night stay. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. The front desk, Herb N Kitchen staff and the executive lounge staff took wonderful care of us all. Polite, professional and super friendly. Excellent location. Safe and fun. My kids loved walking the 10 minutes to the Central Park playground where they spent 2 hours a day. We walked 20 min to our 2 theater shows and felt very safe and confident in the neighborhood even with children. One critical comment though. The 30.00 daily Urban fee should be more flexible. 10.00 to the market and 20.00 per day for the lounge simply wastes my money. I did not go to the lounge so I lost 60.00 in credit that I easily spent during my stay at the market. Very disappointed in that. I will write to corporate for the credit and a recommendation not to mandate how the Urban fee should be spent within the hotel. We will return for sure.

The Concierge Level Suites are VERY NICE. High Floors with own private check in desk. Lounge has various food snacks & comfort foods as well as cappuccino or tea available. Suite has separated sitting area & bedroom. Sitting area has own wet bar. Sweet city view! If you’re curious what it may be like to live in NYC in a high rise, contemporary upper scale apartment — then you will enjoy the concierge levels — I could get used to it!

Unfortunately what would have been a much better rating was impacted by our experience at check in which was appalling. We were arriving at 9am after a 30 hour journey so we paid for the previous night to ensure we could check in when we got there. Our travel agent advised the hotel at booking this would the case and sent 3 follow up emails to confirm. When we tried to check in we were advised that as we were a 'no show' that they did not have a room for us. They also advised that there would be no refund for the night and that is was our fault because we had not booked with them direct. There was no apology and no offer to try and get us in early. We eventually got a room at around 12pm because we were loitering around the lobby, however the experience impacted the start of our trip. Both the check in officer and her supervisor need to learn about customer service. The rooms were clean and the location was great, however we will never stay in another Hilton hotel again.

This is my second time visiting Hilton Midtown New York and the experience has been appalling! Regardless of charging nothing less than £200 ($250) a night the hotel does not offer ANYTHING in the room, not even the amenities they outline in their reservation. I requested if we could have water bottles delivered to our room daily, nothing was delivered unless we rang and asked for it. In their hotel amenities it clearly outlines that the hotel provides, bath robes and bathroo…m slippers. None of these was in our room, and when asked for, once again, did not arrive. However, the most shocking basic service this hotel did not provide was heating! The weather on our trip in the evening was between 7-10oC (44F). When I rang customer service I was informed that during this period of the year heating is not provided, only AC was! Our room was freezing every evening, and whilst booking it clearly states the room has heating! To help compensate for this the hotel gave me a kettle, but no mugs? I was not entirely sure what they expected me to do with just a kettle? This hotel is ridiculous and clearly do not have the ability to provide the basic amenities they outline in their T&Cs. Staying at the New York Midtown is a waste of your money. Sonam.

Just come back from visiting NY, and stayed at this hotel. This hotel surpassed my expectations, I would thoroughly recommend it. We stayed in a family room and we had lots of space. All the staff were so helpful and kind. Thank you NY Hilton Midtown for making this a trip we will never forget.

Great location in the middle of Manhattan. Room is smaller but clean and there is everything you need. I am missing small fridge as well as coffee machine in the room. As well cosmetic pads would be great. Otherwise staff is very helpful and elevators are fast enough.

Do not stay here! Was wrongfully charged $250 for damage to the room because a cheap toilet seat fell off. Hilton treats anybody who is not an honor member like garbage. After calling down to the front desk to ask for a roll up bed for my friend who was sleeping on the floor… they responded saying they have them available but would not provide us one because we were not honor members. I've never been treated like such scum ever. This was literally the worst hotel stay I've ever had!

This Hilton location is so luxurious! I loved it! The lobby looks like it's encrusted in gold and it's so expansive. It's also directly across Jimmy Fallon which is super cool. My one bedroom hotel room was spacious and clean and beautiful.

The front desk staff are as warm and welcoming as razor wire. Rooms are not very clean, towels look like they have been just picked up off ground and put back on racks. Bed linens had dirty marks on them. The cleaners are extraordinarily loud while in adjacent rooms so don't expect to get any rest while they are about and they are only able to slam doors shut. There are no coffee makers in rooms but there are fridges and safes. The gym on the 5th floor is excellent. The rooms are pretty large for a Manhattan hotel so that coupled with the gym brings this place up to 2 stars.

38th Floor 1BR suite. Very nice, roomy, very nice 24 hour gym, owners lounge open late (1030) with coffee and soft drinks. Room does not have a kitchenette but that wasn't an issue for us. A Keurig coffee machine is in the room but the Nespresso machine in the lounge is better.

The room was nice but I stayed for about a week and they left dirty towels in my room the whole time. When I arrived about 3pm my room was not ready even though it had been prepaid. I realize there was an event going on but they should prepare for these things. I like that there was a decent food place inside the hotel but a bit overpriced for what I got (deli sandwiches and juice. ) The bell boys helped me carry my stuff but then acted like my tip wasnt big enough for them or something. The inside of this place really was immaculate though.

Great location — minutes to Central Park, Times Square, and other attractions. There are many different, decent restaurants near by, even more within $5 to $9 ride with Uber Pool. The hotel is very busy (The Hilton Club is really only several top floors of the Millennium Hilton), so be ready for that. Room are large (for NYC) and comfortable. If you want to splurge a bit (but not ready to drop the money on Ritz Carlton that is a few blocks away) this is the hotel for you.

Great to use our timeshare points to stay in midtown area of NYC. The rooms are like new and the staff is very friendly as well as being attentive to guest requests. The location is excellent between Times Square and Central Park. Great views from 44 floor.

The service is not even at par with a small town motel — there was not coffee maker nor kettle and coffee mugs in our room when we checked in yesterday. Had requested it since and it took more than 12 hours to bring a kettle and two paper cups to the room. We just returned from an Africa safari trip but feeling back to the third world country from first world, in term of services. However, the hotel is in a prime location where Central Park, Rock center, and many landmarks are within walking distance. And the room is quite spacious and comfortable. So upset aside, they still deserve a 3-star rating as an average.

The rooms are nice but the AC doesn't get the room very cold. The sales pitch is done one on one and they feed you and give you drinks. They are very respectful and understanding. I would have purchased a vacation package had I had the money.

We stayed here for two days, and I was glad to leave for another hotel. The room was very small, but the beds were comfortable. The room was very musty smelling and never seemed to lose the humidity, but it was a very hot week in NY. The tub wouldn't drain very quickly, which I find particularly gross. Extra towels and toiletries were brought to us quickly, so that was good. Our floor was showing its age as the hallway was seriously banged up and had gashes and gouges. Overall, this isn't what I'd expect for what I paid. I did feel safe, the exercise room was wonderful, but run in Central Park if you can as it's only blocks away. The location was also good. Update: 8-2-18 — I was contacted by the hotel about my stay and they apologized for falling short of my expectations. They offered me hotel points.

Excellent location and ambience. However slightly disappointed that it did not provide a fridge or tea making facilities in the room. Even drinking water was not supplied but you had to order for it.

This will be my second stay here. First was very enjoyable, three years ago with my significant other. This weekend, we celebrated as anniversary. I'm a Hilton Silver member, a few nights away from Gold
Well, this gets four stars and not five; I originally prepaid for a corner room with two beds because there were no suites available. About a week prior, I called to see if they had any suites. I was told yes, and upgraded to an executive suite with two beds. I wss told I could prepay the difference when I came. A day before driving into NYC, I saw my "upgrade" as no longer available. I was upset… I was back at the room I prepaid. Although I understand, it was misleading when I said to the agent who updated my reservation I would've prepaid to keep that room. I learned I was bumped for another guest. I wasn't happy. I called the hotel. The manager told me he'd look into it. I also called Hilton Honors. I tried to be as polite as possible, but was upset I was misled. Together, Hilton was able to provide me a complimentary roll away bed, two free breakfast vouchers, two lunch vouchers, and access to the executive lounge. Oh, and our room was a one bed executive suite on the 43rd floor. Beautiful view. A big thank you to Jose/Alex making our weekend very comfortable. Added millions to our celebration.

I've stayed at the hotel a couple of times now. The rooms are all very modern and very clean. The location is great, and within walking distance of most attractions. The staff has been very friendly every time I've stayed. I haven't had extended stays there (just around 1-2 days usually) but I can't imagine it being different if it's longer. Overall it's a very good hotel and I'll be staying there next time I'm in the city.

Coffee & Tea (Keurig) are in all rooms for free. There are food options, a couple of bars and Hilton Club executive lounges within. By staying with the Hilton Club, you get its elevated rewards which do come in very handy if you are a not Hilton Club member and can be used throughout Manhattan. The room we stayed in, see pics, was small but efficient. I do wish the bathroom lighting had an additional bright light and there were outlets on both sides of the bed. The outlets issue is something I have noticed at many hotel or resort chains so I'm prepared for it. The only real issue is the elevators. Be prepared to sometimes wait about 5 to 10 minutes or more sometimes to get down to lobby or get up to your room. The causes are heavy traffic up and down and if there is a non-working elevator. Luckily it didn't mess up our stay or delay where we were going. They offer free internet like all Hilton's but if you really need to use it, I recommend paying for the faster connection because the free is not very fast but good enough for basic internet browsing. Lastly we stayed in early June and the humidity builds quickly so be sure to adjust your thermostat to a cool enough temp to rid the extra humidity after showering. Will definitely be returning, but as a Residence member.

Old hotel with some pretense and many years on the shoulders, which you see all. The service is impeccable and professional, but everywhere you breathe a certain fuss of the environment. The meeting spaces are quite functional.

I love the Hilton Midtown! The staff… the rooms… the bridge bar… the views! Every bit of it is top notch and my favorite place to stay!

Great value, great location. Really, just a good hotel experience for any city. Quiet room; pleasant staff. The lobby can be very busy, but we never had a serious delay catching an elevator. Also, as a perk, The Halal Guys operate a food cart on each corner across the street, so after a long day of walking, one of the best meals in the city is just a few steps away. If your room faces 53rd, you can check how long the line is (always a line).

This place does deliver as for comfort. The location is excellent for night life, drinking or eating. The rooms are decent and comfortable. I'd stay here again, no question asked when here for work.

Why does this hotel do not understand basic etiquette? I had two cleaning staff on separate occasions and a bell man ignore the 'do not disturb sign'. I only needed an hour when I'm really focused on work. Also, service is slow given that this is a high traffic hotel. The carpet is sticky. Front desk is efficient though.

I always enjoy staying here. The club levels offer additional privacy and the amenities within the rooms are always welcome.

I attended a professional event at the Hilton in Midtown. The inside of the hotel was huge so I was glad that the staff were helpful. The event was in a room on the second floor. The taco bar food that was provided was pretty good. There were at least 10 different options for drinks as well for the event. Overall, it was a good experience.

Maids did not restock the coffee and the thermostat in our room was broke, but other than that the stay was enjoyable. Did not appreciate the attitude of the service staff in the open area restaurant and cafe downstairs, but the Bridges lounge was a superb experience.

Our room had a broken thermostat, but fortunately we we're not staying in the room for long. Food at the downstairs restaurant was not so great and staff were not very kind when ordering. I'd stay at the other Hilton…

We always enjoy our time at the Hilton Club. Great location and friendly staff.

Location was great for me so I get to different trains. Room is a decent size, clean and comfortable. They charge a resort free daily and also charge 25$ per day that that you can use toward food/drinks in the hotel. Staff is nice especially Guy Montgomeey who works as the chef at Herb n' kitchen.

Our room overlooked Central Park, on the 33rd floor (3344).
Quiet room, we could not hear the noises in the hallway, but a little ones coming from the outside.
Wi-Fi available, with good throughput.
The equipment was full, and the housekeeping was done every day, and very well.
Only regret the lack of a bathtub.

Great location in the heart of the City, within walking distance to all the NYC attractions in Midtown! Very friendly & professional staff, spacious & clean rooms. The Lobby Lounge has great ambience. Burgers here are fantastic. Our waiter Miah was very friendly, professional & attentive.

Back from 2005 I found it almost unchanged. Below Hilton standards. The location however is perfect: between Time Square, Rockefeller Center, MoMa, right in the center of Midtown. The Wi-Fi fee in the rooms is a little disappointing for such a hotel.

So far, so good. It would be nice to have a night table on both sides of the bed. The ironing board broke and they fixed it right away.

Very good customer service, the gym devices are very good quality. The hotel does not have a swimming pool. For the on-site dining, there are several chic restaurants in the hotel lobby. Breakfast is not included. The hotel is located 5 min from Central Park and there are several restaurants around and cafes.

SOAP MAKES YOU BREAK OUT IN A RASH! We are a Big group of People and multiple people in our Group has had irritation issues with the Soap Hilton uses. It's Verbena & Lavender facial and Body soap by Crabtree & Evelyn. I have No Issues with Lavender or Verbena. Which makes me think the Soap it's self is just Cheap. They used to Use a Peter Thomas Roth brand and have replaced it with this other horrible stuff. I am a Hilton Honors member and frequent my Hilton Hotel in Seattle, WA. I was disappointed when the Night Manager (Brian) had No Other option or solution other then a $15. Fee for them to go buy us a Different kind. We have 47 people in this hotel. At $350. A night a Non-scented soap should be available. When I called for a manger I was placed on a silent hold and then hung up on. So I called back asked again for a manager. Was told 1 would call me. Big Surprise, I got NO CALL. When I called back and spoke to the Night Manager there was nothing that he wanted to do to rectify the issue. Poor Customer service since we arrived.

A hotel in a perfect location just around the corner is Rockefeller Center. Very large room with large flat screen TV.

Old hotel, but the staff was very courteous. The new $25 "urban destination" fee per day is a joke. Also, we were given a "premium" room on a low floor, so the view was bad. Otherwise, all was fine.

I stayed at this hotel in 1994 and I had made a great impression, I came back in 2014 and to my surprise I saw that the rooms were pretty much the same, so a little under the Hilton standards, unacceptable bathrooms conditions for a hotel of this Level, good location, in indecision is to definitely prefer the Hilton Time Square.

Good reception, comfort and quiet… but bad Wi-Fi "free". I don't understand how a hotel at this point offers bad Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi premium… In the end, an almost yes.

Central, close to the tourist spots, close to the Metro, very well connected. Wifi for a fee.

I am writing this review a bit late. However, it is better late than never. I came to to this hotel on Nov 1st 2017. When we arrived after 5 pm we got our room and it was dirty. There was chicken on the floor by the chair and dust everywhere. I did dare to smell the pillows because I knew that those would be stinky, and THEY were! disgusting stench of dirty head on those pillows. My friend was with me and she took pictures. I then asked for another room and got another one to another disappointment! Not as dirty, but the restroom paint was falling apart and the shower was so gross. I booked my room at this hotel because of the name. It was already 6 pm or so and called the front office, asked for a manager and NOTHING. We went down to the lobby and just asked to get my money back! The manager finally came out and didn't say anything! I also warned them about making sure they returned every penny! My friend and I were at this hotel lobby looking for another hotel! AND WE FOUND ONE! It was CAMBRIA! and guess what? It wasn't as expensive and when you walk into their rooms! they smell fresh and clean! and THE PILLOWS SMELL LIKE CLEAN washed linen! I am writing review now because I am going back to NY and will NOT BOOK this place ever again. I was reading other reviews from other hotels and realized how important it is to share the good and bad stories one might have about hotels. Mine, unfortunately with this dump was not good.

I attended a convention there. It's a great midtown location. Close to everything. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is very clean and elegant. Would definitely plan a stay there.

The hotel has an amazing location that you can't beat, it's at the heart of everything, sightseeing, restaurants, bars & deli's galore. The inside of the hotel is shabby, dated and seriously in desperate need for a renovation. We stayed on the 21st floor and walking along to our room reminded me of a hotel back in the 80's wallpaper (who still has wallpaper), not just that its peeling away and stuck down by tape! It didn't get any better in the room, the paper was peeling away, the room was small for a queen & there was a massive gap under the door; the best thing was the shower. I would have expected Tea & Coffee making facilities in the room for the price, but obviously they want to drive custom to the Herb Kitchen downstairs. Be aware of the lady who comes to check whether your room has been cleaned, she knocks and doesn't wait for a response but barges in, it's unprofessional and Hilton need to recognise people are on holiday. Cleaning was hit and miss and very inconsistent, sometimes toiletries would be replenished other days it wouldn't. We could have complained but didn't want to tarnish our holiday. Apparently the floor is being upgraded as we were advised when a member of staff plus builders requested to enter the room (which could have waited I'm sure). All in all we've stayed in far better places!

It's been a while since I've been a guest at the Hilton, but recently catching up with a friend there is clear that they have maintained their great service. I'd say that their rooms and hallways probably need an update though. I can definitely speak to the staff in the ballrooms etc. They are fantastic! I attend several events there annually and the staff is wonderful. The main ballroom, with it's additional balcony seating is huge!

I've stayed here numerous times. It's always a great place in the city, though expect to pay around 250 to 300 per night. The lounge is always packed since they moved it downstairs. Great location whether you're going to Times Square or Central Park, both are walkable from the hotel. The Hilton Club is in the same building though you just access different floors to get there.

I had for the New York marathon my accommodation, and one by some initial difficulties with room and checkin, then super with all the things clear. That's why you paid for 5 *. Spanish is also a clear one —:)

Good Hotel, clean and very good location. Breakfast dear, better go outside where there is a definitely more varied food offer.

Very good location. Some very unfriendly staff at checkin. Friendly cleaning staff. I cannot recommend the in-house deli either in terms of price or quality. The gym is large and well equipped. Very disturbing I find countless small children in the gym at really every visit. Apart from the inherent danger of the dwarves, it also violates the internal rules of the house.
In summary, you can stay here because the location is good, otherwise the worst Hilton in my experience — and I worked for Hilton…

It is a Hotel that is loose in details, little place for breakfast, the heating is deficient in the upper floors, the rooms lack frigobar. A great positive aspect is the pizzeria.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location. Its very convenient to many attractions in Manhattan area. I always select Hilton properties for my stays and this was the worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. The room temperature could only be raised and not lowered. Room was so hot we couldn't sleep. Opened windows (they only open about an inch) and room still would not cool down. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed. No coffee pot in room and no coffee offered to guests unless you go to the restaurant (which charges $30 for continental breakfast) or store in lobby. How do you charge these high rates and cant even offer a free cup of coffee? Bathroom is so small the only counter space is the small ledge above toilet. Definitely would not recommend this property unless they make some major changes.

Our room was a furnace. Could not get room temperature to a comfortable temp. They told me to open a window. This did not help. In addition if you are an honors member dont be late for the mediocre continental breakfast. They shut that down instantly at 11am. Location is the only positive for me. In my opinion does not live up to Hilton standards.

Nice fittings but the room and bathroom were too small. Towels were clean but had a bad smell. There is no coffee machine or kettle provided. The room we were in was behind the elevators and the noise was constant day and night. This was supposed to be a deluxe queen room but we have seen better standard rooms at comparable hotels. It was conveniently located, close to Times Square and Rockefeller Centre.

Stayed here over Thanksgiving and was able to watch the parade from the sidewalk, and had a view of the parade route from our room. Great place to take in the holiday activities. Close to so many iconic NYC places. Central Park just blocks away, as is Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Radio City Music Hall across the street. Would definitely stay again.

Good hotel but too crowded. The best thing is the mid-way location of Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center and Columbus circulate.

First time staying at this Hilton but as a Hilton honors person. I'm very happy being here. Very accommodating. Friendly. And I don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else in Times Square. Very Happy!

By default the room had no coffee machine or fridge (you can special request as fridge). With the many conventions held at this hotel the elevators we're always annoyingly busy. No special shuttle service to amenities or airport. Hotel cafe and store we're open until midnight which was great. Location is good but you could choose many great hotels at similar pricing.

An accessible place very close to Central Park. The times I have gone has been for events and they are always spacious places and helpful mug.

A 4-star hotel deserves 4 stars. Stayed here twice. Rooms are pretty modern. The views are limited, but are still pleasant to look at. Have been to countless events in the ballroom. This is a union house! Good service. The catering kitchen food is decent. Walking distance from Times Square.

Very good location. The rooms are small and at least ours did not have a refrigerator, which was a nuisance and also had no courtesy coffee. Very expensive for what it offers. I do not recommend.

A very nice hotel, very clean and spacious. Place is ideally place and just beside the Halal guys for a quick and cheap bite. The staff were all courteous and very helpful. The concierge went beyond our expectation for our wedding anniversary. Thank you New York Hilton Midtown.

The only good thing about the hotel is its central location, very convenient. For the rest it has nothing of the Hilton. I stayed in a room on the sixteenth floor. Old furniture and mangy, indescribable carpet. Bathroom very small, without shower, with a bathtub that you have to have courage to enter it. Not to mention the daily cleaning: virtually non-existent. Dear. Breakfast not included. Bad.

I went for my birthday over the weekend and stayed from a Saturday night to Sunday. The room was nice, but a couple of other minor things. Of course the prices were high, but I expect that with the city. No complimentary breakfast. No coffee machine in the room. I understand why the prices were high, but at the same time I feel like that comes with a stay that should be exceptional. Parking was $70.00 for the night at the hotel. Our phone wasn't plugged in, which caused a guest of mine to have to wait outside for over an hour while the employees confirmed he was a guest. All because the phone wasn't plugged in. Told the guy when checking out and he apologized and moved on.

Great hotel very well located next to Central Park and time Square but without too much charm.

We checked in late on a Friday and there was an altercation happening in the lobby with some patrons and security. Not a good first impression. The gentleman behind the desk didn't really seem too interested in us or our check-in. We go up to our room and the door is open. Not closed. Umm yeah so I checked it out and there was food in the fridge. The room itself is a decent size and the bathroom is decent. The bed is comfortable. They have two luggage racks which is a plus! The room has lots of storage and drawers. The room also has a safe.

Mixed bag of nuts at this hotel. It's a little upscale and in midtown. The lobby isn't too inviting once inside. There's literally no where for groups to sit and meet up. You have to stand in the way. The bell man and luggage storage are two different areas. Luggage area closes and you have to go to the bell man but there are no signs. The restaurants and bar in the lobby are nice and well updated. Currently the gym is under renovations but they can give you a free pass to a neighbor gym. My room had a nicely updated bathroom. The room was rather large for NYC. But it did need an update. There's a large brown velvet couch that I don't want to touch. The room could have had better lighting and also a fridge. Overall the staff is nice, the property is clean but lots of the property could use an update. Nothing chic about this Hilton.

Everything was great. The toilet paper kept falling off the roll but that's my only complaint.

We loved our stay at the New York Hilton Midtown! Quiet and clean room. Loved our breakfast buffet. Only reason not 5 stars was the line to check out was way too long. They needed more staffing at that point. All the staff was polite and friendly.

I just went to the halls where conferences are made but the luxury is seen. Staff also friendly and everything well cared for.

Went to NYC for our 10th year anniversary. They messed up our reservation and booked us for 2 nights instead of our 3 night package. Had to change room in the middle of our vacation. They made us feel like it was our fault. Didn't like that.

New York is a city of many facets, chaotic for traffic and chameleon for how it is still today the only city in the world that manages to have more faces during the year. The Black Friday, the preparation for Christmas or the New Year, the snow and Easter change the city giving not only to New Yorkers but also to us travelers different photographs.
Meeting the show's characters is not that difficult and then a bike ride to Central Park is always a great thrill. But new yor is also periphery, where the surrounding area in Manhattan is growing with new cultural attractions and no solo. In three words I Love NY.

Not bad as hotel but the registration service is the worst I have ever seen it looks like a market no reception with chair for the elderly, pregnant women and children I waited 45 mn sitting on the floor with a baby The shame I'm disgusted with Séjo Urn again in this hotel with this service NULL the rooms are property.

The location is certainly its strong point. The structure is very large and the room met the expectations. Price a little too high for the quality of services. Cleanliness of the room not very accurate. Shame about the Wi-Fi fee, given the price of the room seemed the minimum.

The service has been pretty good, there is a complementary lounge area that I wish they'd told us about when we checked in. The room is a decent size for New York, but that means it is pretty small. It worked well for us though. It's in a very convenient location, and its made being around very easy (and cheap, we've been able to walk to everything).

Stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club with in the hotel and it was an excellent stay. Staff is so friendly. The location can't beat, next to central park, only a few blocks from time square area and with in a block or two to most of the subway lines.

The extra sofa had a stained mattress, and was not prepared for our arrival (no sheets), not worthy of a four-star.
We were three in the room and had only two bath sheets, we had to claim!
The glasses used were not changed every day.
The cleanliness and room service are to be improved.

Absolutely A PATHETIC HOTEL! Would never ever consider staying here, this is our third stay here… but the last one. Asked for a water bottle they did not give me more 2 bottles, and replied in the rudest tone, I would never take this crap again, worst hotel i've ever stayed in, too many complications to connect to the Wi-Fi, staff is too rude, no proper service, I am paying $922 for 2 nights but they are not willing to give me water, five guys also gives free water, HUMANITY! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND STAYING IN THIS HOTEL.

It was a really clean, nice hotel. The staff were friendly, and honestly the food was on the pricier side, but that's what you pay for convenience and being in NYC. However, when I bought a bagel in the morning, they don't toast it for you, which is fine, but the toasters in the back for us to use weren't working. Small detail, but I really wanted a nice toasted bagel. The hotel's at a really convenient location for tourists (Times Square, Broadway, Central Park, Carnegie Hall, etc. Are all relatively close), and I enjoyed my stay there.

The best place I have been host in Manhattan. The room is big and new.

Comfy bed, nice pillows, nice big screen tv. The Bad… our room was uncomfortably warm all week and this made it hard to sleep. Called for assistance but no help. Outside air temperature was 50 — 60 degree F, tried opening windows but no help. The bathroom has a heated mirror but it doesn't have a fan to remove the humidity… so now too warm and humid. Finally only 2 of the 3 elevators worked so long waits at times and the towels were rough and scratchy not what you would expect from a Hilton Hotel.

A little disappointed by this experience. I found some of the concierges to be arrogant and menacing. The hotel rooms were OK but needed modernising and had no fridge. The lobby is always so packed and a little disorganised. Would I stay here again? Doubtful The only redeeming part is that the price was fair considering the location.

Awesome place to stay in the middle of all the shopping and dining.

Very central hotel (I stayed for a week for my 30th). You're 5 minutes walk from Central Park and Times Square is 5 minutes in the other direction. Had a great view of Central Park from the room too. The Rockerfeller centre and MoMA are just round the corner too. I was on the executive floors (after being put in one of the dated rooms on the lower floors, try and avoid anything below the 34th) and had access to the exec lounge, with a great free breakfast. The only downside is no restaurant but there is a nice Deli. Staff were very nice, helpful and responsive. If you want a kettle in your room just ask them and they'll send one up! Recommended if you want to stay very central.

The rooms were extremely clean. This is getting harder and harder to come by. The staff were friendly and the location was great. The event had marked down prices aground 200 a night during the week, which was great for the location.

Great hotel — clean and large rooms. Lounge area is very clean and relaxing with complimentary breakfast, snacks and beverages… very helpful staff… location is very central and price is relatively reasonable for all the above. However, number of elevators is definitely not enough for this size of hotel.

Rooms and amenities were great. The hotel is in a centralized location, close to everything we wanted to do. Housekeeping staff were the nicest and friendliest I've ever met. Only problems we had were (1) we would run out of hot water in the shower, (2) no refrigerator in our room, and (3) elevator service was next to impossible to access at times due to the volume of people. Overall, we had a fantastic experience.

I am only here for one night. So far I am very happy here. Michael at the front desk convinced me to upgrade to the executive package which includes a snack bar in the evening, breakfast, and an upgraded room that is gorgeous. My stay here is very comfortable. I am glad I chose this hotel. It is super clean, free Wi-Fi for Hilton Honors members, gym is well equipped, executive lounge is nice to have, and Mike gave me a room with a nice view in the 34th floor.

It's not often that I am disappointed in the fact that you can't give a 0-star rating, but this definitely is one of those times. I literally have nothing positive to say about this hotel at all. If you're reading this review, you're probably shopping around for a hotel in NYC. Let me save you the pain — this is not the one. It's expensive and not worth a quarter the price you pay. I stayed here for 14 nights over the Christmas — New Year period. I am an Hhonors member, but because I booked through an external website (Orbitz), they refused to put my stay against my membership. They also charged for Wi-Fi, because my Hhonors membership number was not placed against my booking! Even though I had my Hhonors number there, they refused to accept it to log in. It's absolutely ridiculous. Spending a few thousand dollars on accommodation for two weeks and we were treated like second class citizens. If you can't be bothered reading the entire review here, you should know that overall, the hotel itself is very old, dirty and unkempt. There is no restaurant, no room service, you will need to request for your room to be cleaned each day (or it doesn't get done) and the staff provide zero service and are incredibly rude. When we arrived, we were put into a room on the 18th floor. It was incredibly dirty and the dust was so thick that not only was there a layer of it on all of the furniture, you could see it in the air and smell it in the room.

Pathetic would be a soft word to describe them. I stayed here for 2 weeks and highlights of my experience: Front staff is very rude — they just don't care about the guest or return business. Rooms do not have fridge and microwave. Rooms do not even have tea/coffee makers. Heat is not managed properly. I had to literally call few times before an engineer was sent to fix the heat issue — that was on 3rd day after I reported. All this is when I am Hilton HHonors member, can't imagine how they treat a one off customer.

Nice room, clean, modern. Very expensive but maybe not for the area. Fold out couch mattress litteraly had springs poking out of it. No Wi-Fi included, $18/day if you need it. Deli type place in the lobby excedes airport pricing, $4 for a Snapple or coke, $9 breakfast sandwich. Good thing out can walk out the door and have options that are reasonable.

Loved it! Everybody was so nice and very helpful… such a great place to stay! The front desk manager Jason was extremely helpful and really made sure our stay was memorable! Not to mention its in the perfect spot and very much family friendly. We will definitely be back every time!

This place is awful and I'm not just saying that. The room was so dusty, front desk was rude. For the price $419 a night it's not worth it! I always stay at the Hilton but I won't be staying at there anymore.

If any of you guys are looking for dirt cheap hotel deals I would check out HotelRaven. Com I saved a ton of money using that site. Such a disappointing hotel. After having come from a trip overseas where we were staying in rustic places out in rural areas I was expecting more comfort from the Hilton. Every small hotel or bed and breakfast we stayed in overseas had coffee, tea and hot chocolate along with a kettle in the room. That the Hilton made the corporate decision to remove these from the rooms in New York City speaks loudly of their corporate greed, trying to force people to buy overpriced beverages from businesses embedded in their hotel lobby. So blatant that it tainted the stay and their reputation for me.

This hotel is awful, frankly! If we'd known that they don't have coffee makers in the rooms we would never never made the booking. How can a hotel have four stars like that? How do people make very early flights with crappy service like that? It's cheap and it's pathetic! Then it took them an hour to respond to a TV issue (remote didn't work). We should have read the reviews for this hotel before making this booking. Lesson learned: there are better ways to spend over $200 a night.

For the price and to be a Hilton I am very disappointed. One small drink and a small cola at bar cost $20. No coffee pot in room; made to go purchase coffee for $3.50 per cup. Most people want a small cup of coffee while getting ready for the day. No restaurant; just soup, sandwich and pizza bar that is way overpriced. No pool or hot tub. If I every visit New York again, I will look for another location to stay. Wifi is not free.

Stayed at the Hilton Midtown July 17 — 19. Had a three-night stay booked, but the hotel was so chaotic I decided to leave early on Sunday despite being charged for the additional night's stay. The front of the hotel is being renovated and their are no signs directing guests to valet park the car at the side of the hotel. After driving around city blocks several times and finding the valet, we pull into the valet parking lot which had cars parked in both lanes in both directions. It was a total mess. Even the valets and bellmen were complaining about the confusion. There was no refrigerator and the outlets in the bathroom didn't work. I had to blow dry and finish styling my hair at the desk instead of the bathroom. I would not stay at this Hilton again. It was really not a vacation atmosphere. It was very chaotic. I true disappointment at a very expensive price!

Really unpleasant experience. Old, worn out hotel, unfriendly staff, 0 service mentality. 3 times in 3 days the lifts didn't work due to false alarms, because of broken waterpipes etc. And the way how management dealt with it was rather desinterested unprofessional.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. The staff was very rude. Kept asking my group and I for our keys every time I left however the Caucasian people who came in never got asked for a key. Then the security treated my group with utter disrespect. Also I could never understand why when two of my friends were walking in the hotel they were asked to show their keys when the other people who came through the door were not asked. The only difference between us and them was the color of their skins. I can not believe the racism that was shown.

Never stay in this hotel again. The reception clerks were not friendly at all. Very business like, and as I asked to change the room because of the noise traveled from the elevator, she didn't say a word and gave me the card key without asking my preference at all. I am a diamond member but I was put in the lower floor room, where even it was impossible to catch the elevator. In the morning and evening, few elevators stop those lower floors were packed with people and had to wait two or three elevators to god down or go up to the room. In the morning, a long line at the executive lounge was surprising also. It was no longer the executive lounge, but a family lounge with a pack of kids and babies. No good for business stay at all. I will never stay in this hotel for my business purposes.

This hotel is overpriced and under-serviced. I got a room for one night for my birthday two weeks ago (March 8th) — $230. The supposed queen size beds were twin sized, they had the refrigerators on lockdown and DIDN'T EVEN HAVE complimentary coffee in the rooms! You actually had to pay for coffee, smh. I felt like I threw away birthday money for an overpriced hotel that didn't have ANYTHING! $230 = Twin Sized Beds, No Refrigerator and No In-Room coffee. Never again.

Overbooked and gave my room away AFTER I had checked in on line the previous day. No notice, nothing. Because of a late flight, arrived at 1:00 AM for an 8:50 AM talk in their conference rooms, and there is no room for me. Ridiculous! Sent me to a fleabag hotel, which they described as "a very nice hotel. " It looks like something from "Barney Miller. ".

Staying here now. My family and I have stayed at this Hilton twice a year or more from 2000 to 2013 when my beloved husband suffered a fatal heart attack in front of me and our three daughters. It's been two years since we traveled to New York, but we were looking for a fun Spring Break. It has been A NIGHTMARE. This morning, our second day, we were awoken at 7am to the loud noise of construction in the room directly above us. Drilling, power saws, hammering. Of course we called to complain as I'm told other guests have done. By the time it stopped, we were all wide awake and unable to go back to sleep. Now we are waiting for breakfast to arrive and the construction noises have resumed. (they are RUDELY loud) There is no longer room service here. So we are having food delivered to us from outside sources. This is very easy and affordable to do in New York City. However, yesterday, as I had our breakfast delivered, a very rude bell desk man called our room and said that there is an extra charge to have food delivered. We were hungry. So I said fine. Just please have the delivery boy bring it up. The bell desk man continued to argue insisting that we come down to get it. I am disabled and did not feel it was safe for my 13 year old daughter to be in their large lobby alone. They finally brought us our breakfast. It was no longer hot. The toilet clogs every morning. The theatre desk seems nice, but we will see when we take our seats. This hotel is ranked with 4 stars.

Attended an evening event in a ballroom. Hotel is a bit hard to navigate (where are the escalators to meeting floors? ). Mostly well staffed except for coatroom after the event. $11 is a ripoff for a bottle of Heineken. Convenient location though.

Stayed here during a recent business trip to midtown Manhattan. Although getting to/from the hotel from the airport can take some time (crosstown traffic is horrible! ), it's a great place to stay in the heart of Manhattan. Plenty of food and drink options in the hotel and nearby. It is also very close to a number of attractions. Just be sure to get a high floor to minimize the NYC noise.

Midtown is a major center of business in Manhattan, but you wouldn't know it from staying here. This place overcharges for Wi-Fi, has a rarely / poorly staffed business center that overcharged me by $20 for a print job and refused to reimburse me (in addition to the exorbitant $1 / page for black and white prints). This place also scrimps on even the basics, such as coffee makers in the rooms. Service was decent or I'd give it only one star. Even so, I stayed for a major national conference and the check-in line was nearly out the door. Midtown Hilton also might have the slowest elevators in the nation. If you're doing business in Manhattan stay elsewhere.

Modeling here for bridal expo last year was amazing. Just had a hoilday party last night, the food, dj, decoration, were amazing.

Very nice hotel. Very easy walk to times square. Great service. Slept very well in my room. I even made a Quick walk to starbucks one morning right across the street. Very nice workout room. Very nice lounges and stores downstairs in lobby. I really enjoyed my trip to new york! Great hotel.

I'm staying here now, and I have hated it since arriving. No valet service to park our car at check-in (even though the website displays their $55 price for "valet" parking), despite the crazy traffic plus blocked entrances to the parking garage. Hurried service at the check-in counter and very loud. The carpet is nasty, and the room is sub par. There is no coffee maker, no mini fridge, no microwave. I get these most basic conveniences from lower end Marriott hotels where I regularly stay. Hotels that charge this way in major cities where I've stayed also usually offer these basic services included in the rate for the room. Tried to order coffee to be brought to the room — $15.00 minimum for room delivery service. $20/night for Wi-Fi is ridiculous these days. Very disappointed.

A friend was staying in the hotel for 1 week spending over $1500. I went to pick him up and while waiting in the lobby I asked security where the restroom was. Very rudely, I was told if I didn't have a key I couldn't wait in the lobby, let alone use the restroom. I said I was waiting for a guest and was told "maybe it's best if you wait outside". I asked if I was doing something wrong and the guards reply was "please leave sir". Not the type of hospitality you come to expect from a 4 star hotel in midtown Manhattan. I'll never recommend a Hilton in NYC again.

Stayed two nights in a Studio room on 38th Floor as HGVC Member NYC Get-a-way. Check-in is on the 37th Floor. Arrival in lobby was not what we expected as Diamond Hilton and Premier Elite HGVC members. Concierge and Bell Catpain desk were of little help in checking bags since our room was not ready. Tried to use the Diamond Member desk but the person behind the desk took over 15 minutes for just one person and there were3 ahead of us. Finnally stepped up the front desk regular member area after another 15 minute wait and was told we should have gone to the 37th floor and that only this once would they be nice enough to give us a ticket for baggage check but dont ask again. Both the downstairs HGVC desk and the 37th Floor HGVC desk personnel were great and helped us get our tickets and transportation needs taken care of. Been treated much better in Hawaii at the HGVC.

Go here every year. Awesome location and amenities.

Reasonably priced for a New York hotel. Fantastic location (close to Rockefeller Center and the Museum of Modern Art). Good rooms, a bit on the small side. Hotel has a breakfast cafe and a Starbucks in the lobby. Handled group reservations well (we had a group of eight in five rooms — two singles and three doubles). Nice lobby bar and atmosphere. Desk staff was very accommodating.

They have care with booking and this hotel, have a charge by does not show that cancel and equal gained it me.

It is expensive but still reasonable for an upper class hotel. Typical excellent rooms, towels and beds. Easy walk to Carnegie Hall. Dozens of restaurants in immediate area. Located in a safe part of Manhattan. All staff treated us with professionalism — I didn't experience any rudeness like other reviewers did.

Not the fanciest hotel in the world, but definitely a nice hotel. The night bellboys are just about worse than useless — don't bother using the curb service from them. Either jack one of the bell-hop dollies or cart it down piece by piece. Paying $20 for curb service is just as likely as not to actually get someone to bring your luggage down.
