I went there in late May for a birthday trip for my mom. There were three people on the trip. We reserved a room with two double beds. When we arrived we were told that our room was under construction and we would have to stay in a room with a king bed for the night. They said that they would provide a cot. We spent the night in the smallest room with a king bed and a cot blocking the door as that was the only place to put a cot. We then had to check out of our room at 11am and not check into our correct room until 3 pm. So we had to store our luggage at the hotel. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told he was only there Monday through Friday. So I tried talking to him Friday and Monday and he wasn't there. All they offered me was $40 refund for the room difference. On top of that there was so much construction in the lobby during our stay it was very difficult to walk through the lobby. When I returned home I wrote to corporate and they had the manager "Eli" from the hotel contact me. I told him how disappointed I was with my stay and I would like a refund for the night I had to stay in the incorrect room. He said that in the hotel industry that doesn't happen. They were nice enough to put us in a renovated room for the duration of our trip and that is my compensation. I told him that I did not feel that it was compensation to be placed in a room I booked. I told him I would write to my credit card company for a partial refund.

Very dirty Windows. Leaving the room is always one kind of corridor, the bags of the cleaner from 6:00 am and clean edify at about 15:00. It is not pleasant and interferes with the passage. Breakfast is just laughter, in the room on the M floor take juice, yogurt and coffee and go to your room for breakfast. On the next building there are old noisy air conditioners.

The hotel is great. Room was clean and modern. The bathroom is also super clean and modern. I was hesitant based on others reviews, but maybe they finished their renovation because the room was really nice. Would definitely recommend.

I loved the room 2201, spacious bright and very clean located on the 22nd floor of the hotel, the bathroom is has a large shower and the beds are very comfortable, the TV is top I loved watching the NBA. Small flat the saw gives directly on offices, attention to the small outfits in the middle of the day!
Unfortunately the hotel was in work when I came, I could not enjoy the breakfast room and I had to have a lunch in a take-out bag.
For now since it is in works I recommend it for people looking for a hotel just to sleep there and be close to New York attractions.

Great location, small room but it was clean and has all the amenities. However there was construction going on when we were staying and it was a little noisy at times. Also, I booked this hotel because it was a decent price and offered breakfast, but the "breakfast" was super disappointing… packaged muffins and yogurt and bad coffee. Very disappointed about this. Overall it does the job if you're not going to be at the hotel very much or if you're going for a short stay.

Good hotel, good service. Close to major attractions, and close to Metro station to visit other, workers speak Spanish, offer a good breakfast; Juices, biscuits, yogurt, bread, cereals, fruits, coffee, tea. The only bad thing is that the breakfast sector is next to the front door and in the middle of winter when the door opens it gets very cold. But you can take all the things you want for breakfast and take it to the room.

Hotel in renovation, tiny rooms, breakfast without a table to sit on, standing in a dusty and dirty closet with a bag with an apple and a confenioned muffin. Crazy x the price paid! 1377 dollars x 5 nights.

Very central location. Reception is friendly and our room on the 12th floor was adequate for 2 people. As the hotel is being renovated at the moment, there was breakfast just to take away in a paper bag. But that didn't do anything, because you never have time in New York anyway. Across from the hotel is a star bucks and a sandwich shop with a huge selection of hot and cold dishes. We would stay there again.

This hotel is undergoing a massive renovation. It will likely be very nice when done however be aware that rooms right now are severely cramped and very dated. The continental breakfast regular offered is a paper bag with cereal, muffin, fruit as well as mill, juice, yogurt and coffee are offered which for me was fine. If you are expecting something more extravagant then this hotel is not for you. My room was dark and dingy and while staff cleaned daily it wasn’t very clean. The location was awesome being in the middle of everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful in all areas.

FATAL, INDIGNANTE, nos cancelaron la reserva del hotel de nuestras vacaciones de 7 noches, sin hablar con nosotros, y cuando contacté, tan solo 45 minutos después del margen que nos habían dado el cual no pudimos cumplir por estar volando más de 8 horas entre Madrid y Nueva York, nos dicen que está cancelada la reserva y que no tienen ninguna habitación libre, de las 125 habitaciones que tienen. No nos ayudaron a buscar solución, alternativa, NADA! FATAL, falta de humanidad y comprensión, nos arruinaron el inicio de nuestras vacaciones, muy triste. / VERY BAD, INDIGNANT, they canceled the hotel reservation of our 7-night vacation, without talking to us, and when I contacted, only 45 minutes after the margin that they had given us which we could not meet for being flying more than 8 hours between Madrid and New York, tell us that the reservation is canceled and that they do not have any spare room, of the 125 rooms they have. They did not help us to find a solution, alternative, NOTHING! FATAL, lack of humanity and understanding, we ruined the beginning of our vacation, very sad.

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. The only good thing was the location. Other than that, the room was tiny and extremely dirty. So much dust I had difficulty breathing. The a. C. Unit was full of dust. There were rude cleaning ladies everywhere but I don't know what they do all day because cleaning isn't 1 of them. I would NEVER go back to that hell hole. I'd rather sleep on the floor in times square than go back there.

Attention scam Good plan. The hotel offers advantageous rates and then cancels the reservation which was confirmed by the central reservation.
If you want to find yourself without a hotel choose it on booking! No excuse, no commercial gesture. A shame.

Nice stay, loans from Time Square, the hotel is renovating new administration summer 2018.

Care not trust, we made a booking x booking even price, which we were sent confirmation of our booking, as it turns out, then the hotel wants to charge nearly triple the amount is a na scam! Do not book this hotel! And if little booking is not responsible. What we're going to report.

Close to everything and not really expensive.
4 stars as there is no dedicated room for breakfast. But instead a bag to take away (it's not silly if you want to barouder in Manhattan) and it's prepared the night before so ideal for early risers!

The location is absolutely great at a walking distance from many sites and not far from metro stations. The rooms are not luxurious but are clean. Service is really good, they really try their best to please you. The only downside was that some staff did not speak English but even then they tried really hard to accommodate us.

When you return to New York I will be going back to this hotel. Location the best. Clean, shower great, breakfast sooo good. Good price.

Really tiny space but I guess that is expected in NY. The room was really just a place to lay one's head so it served its purpose. The price for locatiok was reasonable. Close to a lot a tourist areas. Offers free breakfast as well so that was great.

Entry humble, very well located half a block from the 5th Avenue. Nice rooms with space to move around. He would come back. Good price.

Perfect location, breakfast, available throughout the day of teas, hot water and microwave. The breakfast place is small, but you can bring the food to the room. Small rooms, very good cleaning.

I'm pretty happy about this hotel. Not fancy, but clean, and has nice interior. Bed is comfortable, and the shower is great. Breakfast is very helpful when you want to save money. The staff was friendly. I'll stay here again.

The room was a bit small, but it was very clean, the beds were cozy, the bathroom was granite and beautiful, the staff were all so nice, even bringing us a fridge, and the location was a few blocks from times square. I didn't mind sacrificing the space for the excellent price. I was there to sleep and shower and spent my time out in NYC!

Decent hotel at a vey good location — walking distance from times Square and Bryant park. Smaller rooms, congested dining area and busy lifts. Little costly but at par with the prevailing rates in the area. Breakfast options are limited. Overall a good hotel to live. I'll prefer it while visiting next time as well.

Good location. In addition to that it includes breakfast and has a jacuzzi tub. The attention of the staff is average. If you speak Spanish and an employee of the hotel is latino, to force you to speak English.

Hotel with a good location, the room is not true which is small as I read on many reviews considering that in NY the MQ are a luxury!. Then who comes to this town to stay in the room? The bathroom was comfortable and even more comfortable was the bed. I don't give ' 5 stars just because the breakfast is poorly cared for and unfortunately you do close to the front door. In winter it is cold because it is a frequented hotel and many people come In and out. I do not think they have other spaces, I repeat the space in this city is really a precious thing. Fabulous thing: You can take food from outside and eat it in the lobby where there are tables, chairs and TV a bit like a hostel. Very nice also the fact that the hot coffee is always available 24 hours! I'll be back.

Good rooms, not plenty of space, the closet is small, but has an iron and ironing board are also available for coffee machine with pods replenished daily, The bathroom is spacious with bath, new and very clean. The breakfast room is small with a table of about 10m long with chairs on both sides and usually is complete there is that wait (except that I had breakfast very early, or before 10am, they are strict)
The breakfast consists of yogurt, juice, jam, butter, donuts, cereal and toast there are only two toasters and one stopped working… The coffee and tea are free 24 you also have computers and a printer and the Wi-Fi is very good and Is very well located two blocks from the subway nearest to you.

Hotel has a nice view, the rooms are small, with a TV with three channels in Spanish. What is good is that it serves as a great place to step. It features a breakfast buffet which is just fast because that is home to a good number of guests. Located in the heart of Manhattan.

Our room and the hotel was clean and nice. The location is unbeatable. You're right in the heart of Manhattan. Hotel staff was kind. Breakfast was basically toast, muffins and small bagels with cream cheese and jam. They also had apples, bananas and yogurt. Hot coffee available any time. Definitely enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this hotel.

Very good location, you're in the middle of everything, the breakfast is a complement, not a point to note… the rooms are not very spacious but acceptable… price acceptable product…

We were first time travelers to NYC so we did not know where to go and stay. We found this place and stayed for 2 nights. We got one of the suites so we had enough room for 3 adults. We were also pleasantly surprised to be so close to many attractions. I would recommend it as an affordable place to stay.

Location is perfect, but that it. The worst service I ever seen, front desk clerks are rude and stupid, especially at night. They absolutely do not know how to work with guests. If you want to pay for somebody, eg your wife, by your credit card from other city, you can not do it by phone, or through PayPal. The only way to do it is to fill out THE PAPER form and send it by email. To fill the paper form out you have to print it at least. How often we have the printer with us? How about a scanner in order to scan that paper form?

Great hotel free breakfast very friendly staff and clean.

Due to computer problems originating from the hotel changing hands (it was originally a Holiday Inn), they have recently way overbooked and ended up having double bookings for a few people. Was downgraded from a room with two double beds to a room with one double bed and an inflatable (which I slept on). Still, they did refund the extra cost a double room would have cost, and when we talked to the manager on the second day, he was kind enough to provide me with an actual bed (a foldable one, but a bed nonetheless). Maybe wait a few more weeks before booking a room at this one.

Very well located, the rooms clean. The included breakfast, although a little small, it is sufficient to start the day.

I put one star because I can't put 0. Arrived very tired after long flight. I booked a room for 4 people. When I arrived the reception told me that my room is not available so I'll have an other room. I took the keys and arrived in a room with one bed for 4 people. The day after I tried to explain my situation to the manager which told me that he have a system problem. Impossible to speak with him. I had to find an other hotel by myself. And I am still waiting for my money back. Do not go there.

Bunisima location and price, breakfast acceptable for people not pretentious.

Very good hotel to stay and visit New York! Excellent location, full breakfast, coffee and tea service all day, and very attentive receptionists in front of the people that put him there. Room small, but fair for the use that is given to them when one goes on a trip.

Very bad attention, the one in charge, Marilyn, we are treated very badly. Not respected our reservations. We wanted to collect more, we complain about x that. Will pedis to help you answer wrong, when we declare that we were attending evil of the way, there is a book of complaints, angry, replied by the internet, and he began to say that we were insulted, what was she going to call the police and that we do not accept the booking of the hotel, after that nothing works I accuse of discrimination. Good location, the rooms are super small but very clean.

I am nice enough to give them 2 stars instead of 1 only because of the location. I booked this hotel via American Airline as prepaid and the hotel charged me as soon as the reservation was confirmed. When we arrived at the hotel, however, the front desk had no idea this reservation was already paid and still intended to charge me the full amount. AND, I stored my carry-on suitcase with a neck pillow the day we arrived, yet what I got later after 20 minutes waiting was the suitcase only. I know it was my fault not checking my pillow at that time, but SERIOUSLY? ASK YOUR CUSTOMER TO EMAIL 'a credit card number, expiration date and the three security numbers' TO YOU just to mail the thing that your staff forgot to hand back? Don't think that your customers are that stupid and don't know that a UPSP flat rate large box only needs $18 from NYC to LA.

Went with my family from June 22 to the 25 this year (2017). Staff is not friendly. My first night found a bed bug WALKING on the pillow, my husband took a picture, made a video, we capture it and took to the hotel manager. The manager tried to be nice asking if nobody was bitten or hurt, he also offered to change our room and wash our clothes. My sister that works in the hotel and hospitality business, in her home country was so pissed off and said that this behavior is unacceptable. The hotel should isolate the floor to guarantee the safety of other guests, and at least treat us with more respect. We were so disgusted by the bud that we wanted to change hotels, but we had pay for two rooms in advance and we also could not find a good hotel available on the same area. They ruined our family vacation! My mother in law got an eye infection at the same night we arrived, my husband got a fever and everybody else was totally disgusted and scared. The front desk staff were NOT nice and not friendly at all! If you think it cannot get worse, on Sunday (25) before the check out I asked the manager BRANDON to do a late check out because our flight was going to be later and nobody was feeling good, HE SAID NO! So, we left the hotel SO VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED as never before. Now we still waiting to have our security deposit back to our account… 5 days already.

Great hotel for the price. A little small, and the no fridge situation stinks. But for the price and the location, I can't complain. Staff was friendly, rooms clean, etc. Our check-in was an hour later than promised, but they did hold our bags for us.

Large rooms, poorly put together though. I think it's a great area to be in for shopping, food etc. A bit too much $$ for what you get. However if you prefer space over the aesthetic THIS IS PERFECT.

Krystal was amazing and very hospitable. The room was in impeccable order when I arrived and despite there being the Saint Patrick's day postage going on nearby it wasn't too noisy in my room.

The rooms are compact but big enough for a few nights stay in the big Apple. Also very clean.

Great, affordable hotel right off of Fifth ave. It's actually quiet and peaceful for this part of the city.

I'll start with the pros as that wont take long… great central location, and they were understanding when we called ahead saying we were delayed in LA. Now to the Cons. 1. We were stuck in the Lower Level under the lobby and had a great view of an air conditioning unit and the bottom of the building next door. Its also where the cleaners room is and the 'business centre' so every morning we were woken up by loud cleaners coming back and forth and the sounds of the printer. Also the atm was 1 Metre away from our door to add extra noise. Being an IHG Club member I would of expected a lot more. 2. The breakfast area is ridiculously small for the amount of guests and the hot food options are barely edible. 3. No fridge in room. $25 for a mini fridge for the stay is ridiculous. In Australia fridges are standard in any hotel/motel above 2 and a half star. 4. Even though you put the privacy thing on the door, the cleaners will come in whenever they feel like. On 2 occasions they came in and cleaned, while also moving a lot of our personal stuff around.

During July 2/3 2013 I was on vacation in the city and I loved it Their service was the best I enjoyed it. What I like about it was the breakfast they had there it was super delicious. The room luxuries such as the HDTV Premium cable from Time Warner Cable was the best of it all. I've always wanted to use and enjoy TWCable. Free Wi-Fi It was like home away from home Cozy bedroom, affordable, decent, friendly staff The attractions nearby was fun I give this place an A+ I wanna thank you guys for your service and hospitality I felt welcomed.

If you go to this hotel don't plan on getting your room dirty and watch out of getting a carpet went when you come out of the shower because they will charge you for it. So don't waste your precious money with them.

I just spent 8 days in this hotel from 17 to 25 June 2014 and I wanted to express all the good that I think
Ideally located in NY and close to everything, we were extremely well received by a staff always smiling, friendly, and available.
Cleanliness and comfort are blameless, and everything being in the "Center", this property is particularly quiet. In short everything was perfect! and as I intend to return one day in New York, it is without hesitation that I would stay at this Holiday Inn. Thanks again for your hospitality and your kindness.

Very comfortable, clean and welcoming, very comfortable beds, dining room for breakfast buffet is a little low, only must be taken down early to find more or less empty, since how the 8 onwards is full of more people, one giual you can sit, but if they are family it cost them to find places adjoining empty, in general very goodnear Rockefeller center and Times Square, and although there is no subway near you get walking from Penn Station, some people speak Spanish, but reception usually speak English. Very important! : Before the entrance to the elevators, next to the micro oven waves will find a display with multiple colors cards, take those who want to, are discounts in shops and tourist attractions, unfortunately I realized it the last day and I could not take advantage of them. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. It is tiny, overcrowded, and the staff are useless. There are only two good things to say for it: 1. No bedbugs; 2. Clean bathroom. Also, don't believe the string of positive reviews here. They're probably astroturf. This place is simply terrible.

This hotel is very good. The beds at this hotel is very comfortable. It is very affordable and nicely decorated. The staff and workers are very friendly. It is out of the way but I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Great place. We had some issues with the travel agent messing up the rooms that we needed and the staff here helped us get the correct rooms. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean so I enjoyed it.

We had a problem with are rooms and it got booked wrong but the employees were really nice and figured it out for us they were always helpful and nice. They have a complimantery breakfast and their food is pretty good.

Very good hotel, if can upgrade the Suite, so much the better! But the hotel is all Smoking, you smoke can open the window or the bathroom, but the main room has a smoke detector!

Low budget hotel. Pretty clean. Not real comfortable but will do in a pinch. Very small rooms feel cramped. I stayed cause my client asked but won't do again. Not a place to stay as a business traveler as mistakes on their part will not be in the computer and you will be charged for it. So my suggestion is to ensure you completely document every interaction with the company (name, date, confirmation number). Get it in writing before you walk away or hang up. Good idea in general, hotel mistakes can cost the client dearly. On another note make sure you ask for a good floor before you get there. Staying on the lower floor is ridiculous. They put the business center in the hall, right outside the door. All night you will be able to hear other people talking. The hotel reception desk has some very nice people and some you couldn't buy a smile from. Overall they are accommodating and pleasant. Hotel is probably 2/3 stars in comfort and cleanliness. 3/4 for location. I give a 1 simply for the lack of ability to work with long term visitors with disputes. But what can you say, company fine print will work in their favor.
