Breakfast could be better. Rooms were clean and up to date. Light could be a bit better. Staff was very friendly and helped with our needs!

Location was reasonable close to places to eat and drink. The rooms were small but efficient, and they were clean with laminent floors. I would stay again.

Very decent place in Brooklyn. Pillows a little too firm for my liking. Nice towels. Minmal amenities.

We booked the room for six nights five months in advance. We arrive on D-day, and we were told that the hotel is full. We had to negotiate strongly so that they could find a solution for us.
They found us another hotel, which finally it too was complete. Conclusion: We were outside.
This is unacceptable from a hotel leaving guests outside.
Breakfast is always the same every morning. There are only 4 tables of 4 people for a 5-storey hotel. So there is a queue and people eat standing up.
I absolutely do not recommend.

It's a pretty simple hotel that's well with the price. The room was very small but very nice and well kept. The service associates are nice and helpful. The location is decently close to the metro so that was nice. Only complaint is that the parking is super limited and crazy expensive at around $30 per night.

During my second night, a group of loud men checked in to the room next to mine. You can probably guess their other demographics after reading. After a long day of work, the last thing I wanted was to listen to some ignorant dudes talk about their women friends and call them b words repeatedly. I called the desk to see if she could ask them to keep it down, to which they yelled through the wall “tell them to move you, b-word” really? Who raised these people? Some phrases I learned *shagivafuh = she does not care *bichamlie = quotation marks Also some tennants to live by I picked up *If we f’in that money is our money. *If I screw someone else, sure I might do it again but I’m going to tell you. I can’t make this stuff up. It was not comfortable and it was not quiet and it was most likely not safe.

The hotel was nice, very clean and the front desk extremely helpful. It seems to be rather quiet, but it just so happens I had these crazy tourists from Europe (Eurotrash) down the hall that made a lot of noise. They have breakfast as well. They were down there too putting sausages in their pockets. Other than that a nice hotel with very good amenities.

The room was kind of small but I enjoyed the it. The people here are friendly and very helpful.

The quaint and clean room does not make up for the fact that this hotel is unbearable noisey! The entire day my room was filled with the clang-clang-clang of the industrial area down the block. At night there was a party in the breakfast area, complete with loud music and children running up and down the hallway. If you absolutely must stay here, invest in a pair of quality ear plugs and request a high floor.

It is a nice place for a short stay with quick access to the highway and close accessibility to Manhattan. It is in a nice location on the corner so it is easy to see. The rooms are nice with just the right amount of space. It also serves complimentary breakfast.

Nice hotel in Park Slope for really reasonable price per night. The front desk staff were always very friendly and prompt with me, and we never had any significant problems here. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The one time, we couldn't get our TV in the room to work, but they have free Wi-Fi and we just watched TV on our phones for like 10 minutes until we fell asleep. No big deal. Other reviews have mentioned the low water pressure and slow Wi-Fi speed, and these are both the case. But the pressure wasn't low enough to really interfere with our showers, and you can't complain that the FREE Wi-Fi is slow. It's free. Remember, this is a.

The hotel is good, clean and in a quiet area. Only thing that surprised me is the attitude of the girl at the reception after the change of round of 11:30 pm on Sunday 19 November 2017 (just to be precise that you can let the manager know who was the girl on duty) annoyed, not friendly, and almost Prevented. Yet I behaved with extreme kindness. All the opposite of the girl from the previous round, nice and very helpful. I'm sorry, but he doesn't behave like that and we need more attention.

Supposed to be a non smoking hotel. Rooms especially bathroom smells like smoke when we checked in. There are signs everywhere about this being a non smoking hotel (funny). We let the room air out and came back the next day and room and bathroom again smelt of marijuana and cigarette smoke. We complained to the manager and he never got back. It does not seem the staff care either. Beds are very uncomfortable and the rooms you can hear people's conversations until 3am.

The room was surprisingly big and the bed was large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and polite, very helpful with any query I had. Breakfast was a good selection of bagels, muffins, fruit etc to set you up for the day. Would stay here again.

Good location to explore Brooklyn, 3 blocks away from subway that takes straight to Manhattan, however quite a long trip. All ok but Wi-Fi was better down in the subway that on the hotel's 5th floor!

Not the best of locations if you are after new york Skyline view. Decent hotel for good price. Breakfast only till 9 is not great when you want to have a lie in. Hence 4 star.

I will start off with saying I'm not super fussy when it comes to hotels, all I want is something that is fairly clean. This was very nice though and we enjoyed a clean room and very modern to. The breakfast was very simple but nice to have and save money. The one thing I will say is we stayed 4 to a room and it was a little tight but I can't take a star off for that as we all had a nice stay here and would go back again!

The location, price, and accommodations made at this hotel were excellent. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. This hotel, like others I've stayed in while on business has rooms that aren't sound proofed well. This means you can hear people talking in the hallway, people in adjacent rooms, and guests with their luggage at all hours of the day. It can at times be disruptive to sleep. If you bring some ear plugs, it easily solves this issue. Overall, I would stay at the hotel again and recommend it to others.

Good clean hotel, comfy beds, friendly staff and easy access to Manhattan/most of Brooklyn, felt safe walking around that area.

My wife and I stayed last week. We had a great experience. Rooms were clean, helpful staff. The hotel is a close walk to subway, where we went in every direction. Some reviews describe the neighborhood as a slum, but I disagree. There are great restaurants/bars nearby, and it allowed us to stay in a in a place that is different from the usual stale suburban hotel experience of other metro areas.

Biggest issue was AC being weak which made it tough to sleep the first night as it was hot. The hotel room was very clean, we parked free, and I would stay there again.

I can handle a small room and bathroom for a night or two… But the amount of corners cut to keep overhead down is disgusting. The first thing I noticed is the a/c unit doesn't adequately cool the room and my husband who specializes in HVAC says its been set up to keep costs down. If we had come with a screwdriver he would have overridden it so that we could get some relief. The room was hot. Nothing like spending a day in BK sweating only to get to a warm sticky room and not be able to get the temp to a comfortable setting. The other concerning thing is that the sheets on the bed don't stay on. They are cheap and thin corner sheets so you end up sleeping on the mattress cover. GROSS! Other inconveniences included a request to check in early online which was ignored. A request for a crib which was ignored. Lack of adequate parking for guests forcing us to park a couple blocks away. And while I have no issues with a small room/bathroom… The mattress is awful. So I would say overall it was a pretty miserable experience and the front desk personnel are too busy talking on their personal cell phones, and cruising the Internet to care about guests (dis) comfort. We won't be back. Next time we will spend the extra money to go somewhere else.

The best hotel value around that neighborhood in my opinion, especially for dog owners looking for a pet friendly hotel in the area that does not up charge each night per dog. The room was kept clean, and the complimentary breakfast is alright too.

Perfect location… 4 streets from the F train with all sorts of transfers two stops over at Barclays. Hotel is quiet, clean, and staff is friendly.

Really like LaQuinta facilities in general. This one only appears small if you're used to hotels/motels in suburban or small urban areas. For NYC, this is great. Beds are comfortable and things looked clean. We checked this place for family who will be visiting and recommended it. As for parking, well, if you come to the heart of a major metropolitan area and expect free parking, you're making a mistake. Most people here don't have cars, but there are hundreds of bus stops & subway stations, plus multiple thousands of taxis. It's just how we live.

I feel I got my money's worth. PROS: I was able to bring my 2 dogs walking distance to subway station clean rooms (no bed bugs) good service/friendly staff CONS: small room (but it is New York) limited parking (but I had no problem).

Ok hotel seems clean enough. But is described as free parking. That only counts for the first 12 guest out of like 100. After the free parking, there is no parking at all.

Went here recently for a two week stay. They were great! They're dog friendly which was a nice perk. Luckily there wasn't much barking during my visit. The breakfast closed early (supposed to be til 10, but more like 9:15), but they did have muffins and little yogurts when I showed up. The staff was nice and very accommodating. Even got to talk comics with the front desk guy.

Nice hotel and very safe. Good service. Friendly front desk staff. Minutes from Manhattan on the subway at a fraction of the cost of a Manhattan hotel stay. I will stay again.

Well, the hotel is new, or maybe "too new to be ready on everything" Our room has no shower curtain, no high speed internet (wire) and they are even under construction To be honestly, stay at here for business is unwise; while if you are looking for a hotel with acceptable price for visiting NYC, maybe it will be one of your choice.
