Dirty, moldy, wall paper peeling,, floors dirty. Kaitlynn the manager was rude and un apologetic for the condition of 2 different suites. I have requested a refund for tonight’s stay and booked into a cleaner, nicer hotel. Corporate office should come and inspect these rooms, or this is now Best Westerns standard.

Broken glass on the floor, the smell of mold in the room, and the fact that they canceled our reservation because they ran the wrong information so they had to scramble to get us a room each night because they were fully booked up and we had booked two months in advance. I do not recommend this hotel and I do not recommend this property chain. Point blank end of story!

The first room we were given was in great need of repair from water leak and black mold. The door looked like some e tried to break into room. MyElevator is out of code by 6 months. The concierge Danny was very rude and discourteous when we tried to ask for a room change. The second room we were given has a tub leak when you shower. The refrigerator was dirty. We were woken at 230am. By the fire alarm Minus Danny the rest of staff has been very helpful and courteous. But no, I would not stay here again.

We have spent 2 separate nights in this hotel & in 3 different rooms. Both were renovated recently & they were both very clean! Spotless! The beds were comfortable & they even have an inbath tub mat so you don't slip on the bathtub floor! We really liked it for the money, it was worth it! The only down side was they don't have a refrigeratorin the rooms so if you have medication or anything that needs to be refrigerated, it has to go into the office refrigerator. The front staff was really. Professional & friendly. Would stay here again.

The location was great for visiting family but that was just about it. It started with the toilet paper roll was obviously from the previous guest and mostly used, which we found to be a bit unsanitary. The shelves under the sink were only cleaned within arm’s reach… the back of the shelves were filled with a layer of dust. They only provided one bath towel per guest. The television and dresser that it was on looked like it hadn’t been dusted in quite awhile. The remote control had no cap on it so after we chased the batteries on the floor when they fell out, we had to hold them in place in order to operate the tv. Two lights didn’t work and it was dark in the room to begin with. They only gave us one coffee pod for both of us, which ended up not mattering since there was no tray in the coffee maker to put it in to make a cup of coffee. The bed was the best (said with sarcasm) … The springs squeaked at any movement, right down to a mere sneeze. On the way out, there was a laundry cart blocking the stairwell, which we had to move with our luggage in hand to get out of the building… All and all, not a good stay and definitely not worth the money. This place compared to a old roadside motel.

The room was clean, staff were friendly. The King size bed was super comfortable, slept like a baby.

Location was perfect for the event we were attending. Basic hotel with all room entrances on the exterior, so noise level of main road can be annoying unless you run the ventilation fan constantly. Dark decor and limited lighting in our room made it a bit dreary but for the amount of time we spent in the room it was OK. Room was clean but very stuffy, another reason to run the ventilation constantly. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, many within walking distance. Friendly staff, easy checkin and checkout. Disappointing breakfast setup due to limited space of the breakfast area. Reasonable selections for a basic hotel.

I always have a great experience Best Western Bar Harbor. I am very particular about where I stay. The rooms are modern, extremely clean and there are NO BUGS! I keep coming back because of the professionalism and superior customer service. There is a homey feeling here — everyone is very nice. They offer a very nice breakfast as well. Thank you Best Western.

I was actually quite surprised. When my husband told me where we were staying for the night, the word "inn" didn't sound promising but we were limited due to late booking. It was actually quite nice. Our room was very clean, staff was friendly, the free breakfast was decent and the pool was clean. I was happy to have stayed there.

Overall, our stay at this property was good. We reserved a non-smoking room only to be told upon arrival that we had a smoking room. The desk staff was able to switch our room but this is the second time that this happened. The staff made the switch but seemed put out to make the switch. The room had some needed repairs but was generally clean and comfortable.

Extremely nice staff. We arrived late, and they only had smoking room for us. While looking up for another hotel to stay, the lady at the front desk told us that a suite just got canceled, and she upgraded our book so we can take that room. The room is clean and quiet. Breakfast offers abundant choices, including fresh fruit, waffles, hot scrambled eggs and sausages. We enjoyed the stay.

Very nice staff. Room was good. Very clean. Lobby was attractive and clean. The rate was a very good value for this area and this room. I would definitely recommend stay at this hotel again and would comfortably recommend it.

I loved staying here, the employees from the front desk to the cleaning crew were all very friendly and approachable. The hotel is kept very clean. There is a small exercise room, and a pool. The only downfall was having scrambled eggs daily, and they need to have chocolate, but the coffee is the best I have tasted in a hotel. Will stay here again, and when out of town guests come, to visit, I would set them up here. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Overall it is good location. Comfortable bed just a little pricey compared to other hotels I have been staying but the pickings are slim in this location.

Very well. Except the breakfast which was all pre-cooked and there was not much natural choice. Good service and nice disposition to tell us about the area and what places to visit.

Rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. The only compliant is the room smells a little funny n the beds aren’t as comfy as I would like it to be. But overall it’s one of the better motels in the area.

We arrived to attend a wedding, and were delighted with the early 1 pm check in time The room was nice, sharing with my friend separate queen beds. But we especially appreciated the two large mirrors. We were able to have plenty of time and room to do our make up for the wedding. The location was great — just 10 minutes to the wedding venue.

Very clean, and I check everywhere. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast isn't anything spectacular, but it is adequate and well maintained. Coffee is ready all the time. The pool is very small, but you can get wet in it. The beds were quite comfortable. Pillow top mattresses, bed are pretty high and I had to crawl into it. Overall, a well run Best Western and a bit nicer than you would expect. I will return to this location on my next trip.

Made Reservations two months prior to our stay via the 800#, customer service was very nice and efficient, booking a room was very limited so ended having to book a smoking room ugh… no other hotels available for the price in the area… a nd needed room for my brothers engagement. Called everyday for 2weeks prior, hopeful for non-smoking cancellations to no avail. Weekend of stay called hotel ask for non-smoking due to having a medically fragile child on O2, per hotel booked solid for weekend no rooms available non-smoking per staff put us on cancel list. The nice girl at the counter called me back and said she could febreeze the room, which really had no choice. It helped for the first hour… requested for any non smoking again put us in cancel list for first available… The second night which is the las night of our stay came to find out room next to us is non-smoking and no one booked it, was available night before also, asked front desk gentlman person about a non smoking room, said none available. SMH, when room next to me is open! So basically for a weekend we had to endure a stinky smoking room and having to leave the window open and spray febreeze could not turn on AC, due to ashtray smell. Overall, the staff was very nice the entire hotel is very nice, quiet and clean the rooms are nice, a nice pool, and fitness area, nice breakfast.

Stayed in the suite with 2 other coworkers for a week for work and the stay was pleasant, we had no issues. Free breakfast, waffles.

Having stayed at this location before, this visit was standard to the quality they provide. I have slept in their exterior and interior rooms both are equal in comfort. They also have an excellent breakfast every morning.

Excellent breakfast, not the frozen garbage you get in most places. Very quiet rooms.

Good place not to stay crack heads dope heads constantly has drug orgy's there. Not to mention transgender prostitutes and women as well. Don't waste your 189$ on a crack shack go to some place better take it from an ex employee.

Great place to stay. Nice and helpful staff. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean throughout. The hotel has a great continental breakfast with hot and cold items.

Extremely dirty hotel. Our one night stay turned into a nightmare when we found bed bugs in our bed! Luckily, I had been up on my phone in when and the light from the phone was shining on the bed and I saw them. Also, the staff does not take the proper measures to assure all rooms are clean. Our bed felt moist when we laid down and I figured it had been from the humidity the past few days, but that was definitely a huge contributing factor to the bed bugs being there.

Very convenient to trains and restaurants. Can be noisy at times. Rooms are small and can be difficult to maneuver when three adults are staying the same room. Breakfast good for a quick continental type, but a great diner is just down the road. Only real issue is get bigger sheets for the beds so they fit. Bed sheets were coming apart all night making it difficult to sleep.

The Hotel is clean and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff however were extremely rude. My wife and I were in the pool area when an employee wearing a mask herself came in started spraying some chemical all over the place, all over us and our coffee not even saying a word then while trying to get breakfast everyone had to wait until the staff got their breakfast and coffee. Great hotel but needs new employee.

Ok. Most people say a hotel chain is a hotel chain. Not this one. I have traveled all over the place and I have to say going to this Best Western feels almost like going home. The staff is top. Notch. Always going out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable as are the public spaces. Nice well maintained pool and exercise room. Saying that we highly recommend the place is an understatement. For any stay on Long Island this is the place.

The staff is professional and accommodating. The room was clean and the pool was fun. The free continental breakfast was delicious! I was surprised they had bacon and eggs in addition to the stereotypical Belgian waffle and yogurt!

If you want lots of room or an elevator, get the stores with two queen beds. Otherwise the rooms in the motel part are adequate, cleaned daily, water pressure decent. Breakfast is good with waffles, bagels, cereal, eggs, etc. Good location.

The attractive hotel had wonderful breakfast and a lovely pool. The staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast woman and maids in particular were good. The hotel and rooms were extremely clean. TVs and amenities were good. I am handicapped and supposed I had an accessible room. There was nothing for a handicapped person other than a grab bar by the toilet. A near fall in the tub which was supposed to be a walk in shower nearly ruined the stay. The king size bed was too high and I had to sleep on a fold out sofa.

Really nice hotel with great breakfast-buffet — nice and clean rooms and a parking-lot in the back of the hotel. We'll be back soon.

The only things that I had a problems with was the bathroom lightbulb needed to be changed the ceiling was a little dingie and you could here the people on the second floor. Other than that the room was great the bed was comfortable.

Although my hotel room was neat & clean, the room was very loud and very bright during the night. I'm not sure if we just caught the hotel on a bad night (it was completely booked), but I heard full conversations from the people passing by my room that kept me awake through 2am. I also broke a small glass bottle in front of my door when I was bringing my things to my room around 7pm. I immediately told the front desk and they said they would have someone up to clean it. However, when I left for breakfast at 7am the next morning the broken glass was still in front of my door.
