Very clean hotel. Quiet rooms.

Room smelled musty (urine). No items left in the grab and go area-seems they are not replenishing since Covid began and will not be. No toiletries etc. Breakfast was Capri suns, yogurt and mini muffins (not my taste). They can easily bring back the continental and use gloves for serving like everywhere else.

Just really nice and would highly recommend.

I recommended yesterday to someone whose power was out, clean rooms friendly atmosphere.

Was there for a fundraiser, the hotel was very clean and well kept, the staff was friendly and helpful and was an overall pleasant experience. I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a hotel in the area. Location is also very close and accessible to Stony Brook and Port Jefferson, another plus.

Room very clean. Air conditioning worked great. Very quiet. Very comfortable. Check in was very simple. Very solid hotel near to the university. Nothing fancy but solid.

We attended a wedding in the area & the bride and groom reserved a block of rooms for their out of town guests. We stayed there, had their complimentary breakfast buffet, and used their hospitality suite for the "after party". Everything was really better than we expected. Really a higher standard than we have found at other Holiday Inn Express locations. Everything, from the staff, to the accommodations, to the party, couldn't have been better! The room (we were on the 3rd floor) was clean & the beds extremely comfortable. Even the bathroom was spotless and when we asked for additional towels, they were delivered to our room, litterally within 5 minutes, with a smile and a query as to if there was anything else we might want or need… Even the after party went smoothly and whatever was running low, was replaced before anyone had to ask… This hotel was more like a Hyatt than a Holiday Inn!

We used this hotel's conference room for a work retreat. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was delicious, eggs, bacon, home fries, fresh fruit, bagels, cream cheese and butter, coffee, tea, and orange juice. The bathroom on the 3rd floor had one stall so that was a down side because when we took breaks the ladies had to go down to the first floor or wait on a long line. Otherwise overall good hotel, clean and smelled good.

Love love love! Complaint? That I am never certain of my exact arrival to book a room in advance. So I have to stay somewhere else on occasion because they are booked solid. I stay here several times per year and have never had a bad experience or a rude employee. The rooms are always immaculate. Everything works. I’ve nwver had my room card quit working. The breakfast is insane. They have extended breakfast hours, unlike majority of hotels. Location is good and grounds are very nice. I need a room designated just for me for my trips into NY. Top floor (6 floors) any room is fine, just put my name plate on the door with “valued permanent customer” underneath!

I stayed at this hotel while I was in Port Jefferson for a wedding. The bride and groom blocked off some rooms so I received a discounted rate. The room was nice, bed was comfy, free breakfast was good, and everyone had good customer service. The down side was that it felt a little run down for how much I was paying. There was a noticeable crack in my toilet seat as the attached picture shows. The free shuttle between the hotel and Port Jefferson for the ferry was helpful except for the fact that the shuttle doesn't begin to operate until 7am.

We enjoy staying at this hotel when visiting family on Long Island. Great location, clean rooms, and breakfast.

Ok room. You could tell they were recently updated. Could have done a better job. Parking goes quick with only a few entry doors. Need better manafment of the pool as some parents are not considrant to other guests wanting to use the pool. Looked like a by invite only pool party when I tried to go.

Homely surroundings, neat and clean, friendly staff, shopping area just in walking distance. Shuttle to Stony Brook university. Everything that a traveller requires is here! Nice cozy place to stay.

Chose this hotel for it's proximity to Stonybrook University Hospital. Price wise it was more expensive than previous hotels used in the area. Paid $167 for the night. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included and has a decent selection.

Very clean place from the moment you arrive including the Room & cannot say enough on the wonderful room size. Check in was quick Love staying here when we are in Long Island.

The hotel is not too far from the Stony Brook campus. There is complimentary breakfast for 4 hours. Nice staff. Even though I stayed one night, I enjoyed the stay.

They had a nice warm breakfast. The room was a little older in decor and wear and tear. They have varying types of pillows soft to hard for your comfort.

Friendly staff, great breakfast buffet, 24/7 coffee in the dining room, comfy beds, enjoyed my stay! Highly recommend!

Good size room but it has some kind of smell, no water in the room u have to buy it every time you want a drink.

It was a nice stay, pool, washer and dryer, volleyball court was nice the breakfast buffet every morning was awesome and it was just a real nice place!

This was a good hotel. The complementary breakfast was good with a wide variety. Pool is nice and so is the fitness room.

They took a cash deposit for"incidentals" ya know cause they couldn't for some reason add it to the credit card on file… then accused us of smoking in a room that had a funk to begin with… of course they kept the money and most likely split it up with high fives like they got away with it… wrong!
Corporate will be visiting and looking into this wrong doing.

I had to stay overnight unexpectedly and the process couldn't have been smoother. The location is convenient, the room itself was as good as expected, and there was even a hot breakfast provided early in the morning.

The room was good and the hotel has all the regular amenities you would expect at a holiday inn express. It also has a nice looking outdoor space.

This holiday Inn express is located on Stony Brook University's campus close to the medical school. The hotel has a nice waiting room, event rooms, and restaurant for dinner. I went to an event at the Hilton and I can say that the service at the resturant and bar is fast and that the food is good.

We booked a block of rooms for our wedding, and the bridal suite for ourselves. All our guests, including ourselves had a lovely stay. Breakfast was great, and the staff was really helpful with setting things up for our guests. Very clean rooms, very attentive staff. Would definitely go back or recommend it.

Staff slow to help, uninformed. The room is adequate without complaints, but is dated compared to other hotels with similar rates. Wife complained bed was uncomfortable.

The employees are very professional. The room was very clean and had a microwave and fridge.

Stay here once a year for work always friendly staff and clean rooms! I love grabbing a warm cinnamon roll for breakfast! Also very quiet area.

By far one of the best managed hotels in Suffolk county. I don't know how many people take the time to walk to back of property, but if you do, there is a baseball field back there set against a wooded area. A bit unusual for a hotel — — very cool and well maintained.

We have petty good experience when we live here. You’d better have IGH memberships when you go there. Therefore you can get very good price. BTW, it’s free to register.

Was checked into a room that was under construction. Second room was just fine. Pretty average setup. The free breakfast had a pretty good selection but the quality of some of the items were underwhelming. Price of the room was high considering the above but was average for the area for this time of year (wedding season).

Nice Rooms, Nice Property, Comfortable Beds, AWESOME guest service! Breakfast was complimentary and tasty. Pool was clean, fitness room was as well and has a little of everything u need to get a good workout in.

The gentleman at the front desk at 10:00 was amazing this morning! I believe his name is Eric. He helped me with what I needed and made me feel really good about being a Gold member. He truly went above and beyond!

This hotel is a decent place. The room was mostly clean, a lot of breakfast options were provided, and the staff was reasonable. Unfortunately, the pull out couch had crumbs scattered right under the cushions, leading me to think housekeeping didn't bother to clean there. Sheets for said couch were also missing from the room, and I had to walk down to the front desk in order to obtain them. Besides that, my stay was satisfactory. I would probably stay there again in the future given future visits to the area.

Very well located in the middle of Long Island, very near to the major shopping centers. Very open space outside with a nice garden just to sit and relax or play basketball, tennis or baseball. A small gym but enough to not miss your routines and a clean nice indoors pool. Staff is friendly and professional. They charge by the room not by the person, wich can be a plus for a small family. Lots of parking space and of course shuttles to the airport. Excellent value for your money with big comfortable rooms. Included breakfast is above average than other similar hotels I've stayed in. I definitely recommend it.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nothing special, but nice enough. They have horse shoes, volley ball, basketball courts, and a baseball field in the back which was fun to play. We got to breakfast close to the end of the time and there was pretty much no food left… So make sure to get to that early.

Clean, quiet, good restaurants nearby. Comfy beds. The cold noodles at the Korean BBQ restaurant nearby were the best I've ever had! Delicious!

The jacuzzi suite room was beautiful. Spacious tub, large living area and seperate large bedroom! The bedroom TV was a little on the smaller side and some channels were fuzzy. Service was good — only exception was when we needed some plastic utensils. The front desk girl pointed to the buffet area but there were only spoons, no forks. She couldn't be bothered to get us any more. However, it didn't ruin our trip! We would gladly return.

Location is ok, not much to eat close by. Rooms are nice, clean. The ac doesn't smell moldy. Nice front desk staff.

My son almost passed away in August and stayed here for weeks on end. He was hospitalized at Stony Brook. There were times I couldn't think so they provided the transport day and night. Even beyond their duties, when my glucose would drop, they made sure I ate.
You all became my family and I will never forget you!
My son Richard survived and is doing great.

Nice room, free breakfast (cinnamon buns! ) great rate, close to restaurants. Close to Stony Brook which makes it convenient for doing work there.

Our stays here are always enjoyable. Clean rooms, great staff, breakfast pretty good too! We always stay here when we visit Port Jefferson or Stony brook.

Had a great time staying here. For no reason at all the employee at the desk gave my boyfriend and I a complimentary bottle of champagne and changed our check out time to one o'clock. I wish I knew his name to thank him because he was very nice and it was actually our anniversary that day. Definitely will come back!

Location was great for my interview at Stony Brook Hospital. Rooms were large and spacious and the bed was comfortable. Be sure to print out a slip for a complimentary snack! I did have a problem with the shuttle to the hospital though. I could not get them to hold it for me. Other than that the stay was nice.

Located in a nice and relatively quiet area. Rooms, beds, pillows were fantastic. I had a great night's sleep. Service was as good as it gets and all employees were nice. Would definitely recommend staying there if you're in the area.
