The atmosphere here is nice and cozy. Friendly staff who met or exceeded my expectations. From walkin to being at our booth took but a matter of minutes. Menu? Well let's just say that it was not a disappointment. Plenty of food that covered just about anything you might want. Filled with delicious pork beef and chicken all grilled to perfection. Our particular order, The barbecue sampler had we both ordered was absolutely fantastic. Local residents, elderly along with tourist from baseball season were amongst the crowd. Most with excitement and longing to receive their meal. If you're in the mood for barbecue this certainly the place to be.

We had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Terra Cotta room and it was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious every morning. We stayed 5 nights because our son was playing in Baseball tournament nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed two nights at the Brookside Inn at Laurens. It was fabulous! The owners were there to greet is upon or arrival and gave us a quick tour. They recommended a great place nearby for lunch. Breakfast each morning was yummy! If we ever head to the area again we'll be sure to stay!

This Bed and Breakfast was so wonderful! My daughter and I were welcomed, our room was so comfortable and the decor was great. It was all the small touches that added to the experience. And breakfast was a FULL Breakfast! It was quiet, relaxing and can’t wait to go back!

I have always wanted to stay in a bed and breakfast, so my husband set one up for my 50th birthday! The Brookside was beautiful and the breakfast was amazing! I will most definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends!

Great place to stay! Very welcoming and comfortable! Our room was perfect for us as we dropped our daughter off at college. Breakfast was delicious with eggs freshly gathered from their own chickens, fresh blueberry pancakes and other yummy fixings! Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful house set in gorgeous, quiet countryside. Rooms were super clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Breakfasts were amazing — better than any hotel (and I have traveled for 20+ years) — — truly gourmet, and satisfying for breakfast and lunch. The hosts are wonderful, conversant and delightful. Highly recommended to stay, short drive to Cooperstown if in the area for baseball. Great value for your money! :)

Very friendly and clean, great food just a great place to stay.

I must say if you are looking for a beautiful home away from home with the most friendly and hospitable couple this is the place to be. I stayed here during college tour times for my daughter and was really surprise at how awesome it was. For my first experience with a Bed and Breakfast. I was so happy that I recommend it to any one.
I am very picky and selective and this place was not only beautiful inside and out the level of care from the couple was amazing. I will be back again just to visit and stay again. It felt like home with your very own family.

We've had the absolute pleasure of staying here twice — both times it was amazing and the owners were hospitable and the service was impeccable. Food was delicious and it felt like we were staying with friends in a quaint, comfortable hotel. So helpful with everything and so considerate. Located in blue collar area and not at all as reviews state. No cell service or phone in rooms. Shared bathrooms that are super small so if you are tall and or large this place won't work for you. Water pressure is low. Could not gt shampoo out of my hair. No privacy shades on windows. Sun came up and so was I. There is a sign in bathroom that you can only blow dry your hair in the small baths due to preventing breakers going off. First you are sharing a bathroom with others and now sounds like a fire hazard that needs a dedicated electrical socket? Paid for two nights ($250.00 each night) but gladly gave up one night due to high disappointments.

We didn't get much time to visit with Dave but Lori is a very warm and generous host. Because of factors outside of our control, we planned for three years to visit this location, while Lori was very accommodating throughout. The room was very homey, and Lori made special arrangements to make our young sons — who grew three years larger from our original booking — more comfortable. Overall, the house is thoughtfully arranged. There are great areas to relax, and Lori provides options to allow for snacking throughout the day — which our sons greatly appreciated. The house is old, and has lots of character and the bathrooms are shared and somewhat small. I don't recall ever staying in a B&B where this wasn't the case. It seems that everything in this part of the state is off the beaten path, but Laurens offers nice proximity to Cooperstown, and everything that we wanted to see. I strongly recommend a stay at Brookside Inn.

The Ultimate in B&Bs The Brookside Inn at laurens is magic! the Inn is magnificent — an official landmark. Decorated beautifully. The quality service they provide their quests is excellent. The Lori and Dave the innkeeper are warm, friendly and will take care of every detail to ensure your stay is nothing short of fantastic. The food is devine — 5 star caliber. The rooms are immaculate — many with fireplaces. They are conveniently located to Cooperstown, museums, shops, restaurants Brookside Inn at Laurens has it all — and gets it right. You will never want to leave, it's truly a slice of heaven.

I've stayed at The Brookside Inn, in Lauren's numerous times and have enjoyed Dave & Lori's hospitality immensely. The don't know what this CRAZY LADY Miss Devito has against the Blue Collar area. The Brookside Inn is located in the historical village of Lauren's NY. It's a very quiet and relaxing place to be. Miss Devito obviously has some sort of personal issues and has written numerous negative reviews everywhere she goes. I feel sorry for people like her. All that she has written is a complete lie in my personal opinion. Obviously she is a very unhappy person.

We loved our stay at this beautiful B&B. Lori and Dave are wonderful hosts. We stayed in the sunflower yellow room. Lori has incredible test in decorating. The amenities were great. All kinds of coffees, teas, snacks, desserts and candies available in the common dining/living area. The weather was nice, so we had breakfast on the front porch. We felt so at home and will stay here again when we are in the area.

Wow, what an amazing experience! My friend and I drove up from NC one night to see a concert in Cooperstown. We stayed at this inn, and it was wonderful! The owners were so kind and had a great sense of humor. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. Breakfast was d-e-licious, too. We had a great time and definitely recommend the inn for anyone.

Our stay at the Brookside Inn At laurens was nothing but the best. The hospitality was incredible. The ambiance was amazing. The rooms were large, with the most comfortable beds-not to mention the fireplace in the bedroom! The breakfast was great, but the service was above and beyond. Dave and Lori definitely made you feel at home. The location is perfect-great restaurants in a short drive and Oneonta and Cooperstown only minutes away. We would definitely go back.
