Absolutely lovely & quaint motel & lodge. Spectacular views, updated interior, very peaceful & safe. Free Wi-Fi, fridge, microwave & seating area. Staff is friendly & accommodating.

Clean and comfortable and inexpensive in a very Charming part of Chatham very near to great restaurants wonderful scenery.

It's a decent motel with all the basic necessities. Stayed for work overnight. Consistently clean.

I stayed in this hotel while traveling to Chatham to perform at the elementary school (I'm part of touring puppet company). I booked the hotel purely on its close proximity to the school and its very affordable price. I was a little worried about the quality, since in our travels we've encountered some not-so-nice small, independent lodges, but we were in for a very pleasant surprise! Not only was the family who ran the lodge extremely pleasant, courteous, and friendly (with their children playing outside as we were checking in), but the rooms were quite cozy and home-like, which is a feature you can't really find in chain hotels. Don't get me wrong — this is not a luxury hotel. But if you're in the area and need a place to stay, I think this place would be an enjoyable experience for anyone. It was clean, the beds are comfortable, there's a great Wi-Fi connection (probably the best surprise), and each room has a little table and chairs right outside to enjoy the air in good weather. And it's up on a hill, with a great view of the mountainous region. It's also just outside of town, making for easy access to Chatham's surprisingly eclectic scene but removed enough for quiet (though I'd imagine it could be a bit noisy if it were busy — we were the only ones there the night we stayed in early April).
