We were pleasantly surprised with this property! The Jacuzzi room we booked is nicer than what you will find at any of the large chain hotels. The finishes and furnishings are very nice. Attention to detail was obvious, from the champagne glasses, candles and matches by the Jacuzzi, to the towels folded to look like swans on the bed, to the cleanliness of the room. The hotel is walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants.

I have lived in the area for 30 yrs. Moved out 10 yrs ago & came back into town for my daughters wedding. Stayed here for a few days & I could not have been happier.
We first checked into bungalow but was upgraded to house. Each was incredibly awesome. Clean, spacious & filled with many goodies from the staff.
Staff was professional, friendly & accommodating. I can’t wait to come back & I highly recommend staying at the lovely “ home away from home. ”

Absolute nightmare. Upon checking in the office clerk was bartering with a shady looking man for a couple hour stay. He was given a room key and disappeared. We started our check in process when the man with the key came back and handed the clerk 100.00 cash, filled out no paper work and was on his way. I checked in with my husband and child with no issues. We were given a suite in the back and dismissed the nonsense upon check in. At 7pm the noise started. Banging, loud moans, the stench of cigarettes permeating in our room. We just prayed it would be over with quickly as my toddler was getting ready for bed and we had a long day of traveling. Well the noise did not stop. My husband irritated finally left to go to the front desk and complain at 9pm. The front desk was vacant with a phone number posted. On his way back he found that the shady character at check in was standing next to our room with a female. The female was injecting heroine into her arm. The noises ended at 11pm with several bangs, a truck motor being revved up. When we stepped out in the morning, we stepped out to 2 needles and countless cigarettes next to our door. We complained to the same clerk. He handed us a 100.00 cash and told us he was sorry for the issues. I am not sure how a hotel can maintain a certain standard when they are renting rooms by the hour for cash.

We've stayed here two years in a row and have always had a great experience they allow dogs and even greet you with a doggy bag for your pet.

Came here for my birthday weekend… Nice little place and private. Close to everything.

Excellent accommodations, superbly clean and very close to town. Stay there once a year and always amazing.

We loved our stay at Skaneateles Suites! Their reasonable prices made it possible for us to stay over for our Anniversary. And they went above and beyond to make our stay special. The little extras were so sweet and you'd expect to pay a lot more for them. We didnt actully get to meet anyone in person but they had a detailed welcome letter waiting for us explaining everything. Its literally a minute or two from downtown Skaneateles. The bungalows are private and cute and have everything you could need. We are definitely hoping to go back again!

Friendly, Helpful and Courteous staff. The bungalow rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. The grounds are very well kept and manicured.
It is GREAT that it is so pet friendly and close to the village.
We will definitely be returning when our travels bring us back the Skaneateles.

This is the 2nd time my husband and I have stayed at Skaneateles Suites in two years. We absolutely love everything about it. It is very clean and spacious and we were lacked for nothing. We even got to eat breakfast in our room with the food that was left for us. The staff is amazing. Thank you for another great stay and we will definitely be back again.

Pleasant staff, extremely friendly. We stayed in one of the cottages and were very happy with it. Was clean and cozy. We were offered an upgrade to the suite in the house, but chose the cottage because it was more cozy. Although the suite in the house was really quite beautiful. It was just a preference thing. The only suggestion we would have was the patio chairs were covered with sap and a little low to the ground for someone who might have health issues. Bonus was how beautiful the view was and how peaceful the area. We will definately stay again!

I have traveled to this hotel twice and had a fantastic experience both times! The customer service is phenomenal and the location is within walking distance of all major Skaneateles attractions. Winter or summer, this place is amazing!

Wife and stayed this summer. Will keep coming back. Great place. 2 minute Walk to everything. Clean with great people and amenities. I suggest everyone stay there except the days that we will be back and need a room.

Everything went amazingly smooth! From booking to check out! The man at the office (forgot your name sorry! ) who greeted us gave us great recommendations for local spots! Very pleasant! The room was very clean! When we walked in our room we had soft music playing, towels folded like swans on bed, and of course… the spacious jacuzzi! I will most definitely be back!

Stayed her Oct 13-14th. So much more than I expected! The bungalows in the back are gorgeous. New, clean, comfortable. Loved the sliding glass door out to the private patio. The welcome letter gave us a good laugh and we appreciated the extra snacks left for us. Good selection of channels on the tv, extra blankets, I was even surprised to find dish soap and cloths! I just can't say enough great things about this place, and we will definitely be booking here again when we go back! Thank you for a wonderful place to crash for the night!

We had a wonderful time! The room was clean. There was even music playing when we got into the honeymoon suite.

We were upgraded to a larger room than we expected at no charge. The room was well furnished and clean. We were provided complementary snacks and drinks. Overall our experience was excellent.

Day one was quite enjoyable and we had no complaints. Unfortunately, when we woke up the well went dry and our water was mixed with silt that turned it brown. We were offered another suite and our overall cost was reduced for our stay. Due to the size of our party (6) the new arrangement was less than ideal but the day was saved. Lovely suites, great staff, poor timing. Still would recommend.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Skaneateles Suites, both times we have enjoyed our stay. Checking in and out is so simple. The rooms we've had have been nice and very clean. My husband loves the complimentary snacks and drinks!

I love everything about this hotel. Great rooms and a wonderful staff.
