Amazing staff and accommodations!

Wonderful interior with original furnitures from the late 19th century, beautiful and clean, very good breakfast! Kris is such a great and funny host. Thank you for the spicy wine ;-) and the water at departure and for the great time we had in your house!

Our first ever B&B, we enjoyed our time here. Kris went out of the way to make us feel at home, Breakfast was substantial, not extra fancy. I’m not usually a pancake fan but his strawberry ricotta pancakes were great. We will definitely stay again.

WOW! First off, the place is gorgeous! Casey and Kris are quite the team. They were so accomodating to anything we needed, food was delicious, and any question we had, they were able to answer and find a solution immediately. We had a small group of ladies there for an event, and I just can’t say enough about how nice they were. I will definitely be going back! Rented out the mansion for our wedding and were absolutely blown away at how wonderful our experience was. The historic mansion, and it's rooms were very clean and comfortable. The outside lawn and pavilion were exceptionally tended, with a gorgeous waterfall always flowing in the background. The staff was beyond courteous and accommodating (extra shout out to the host, Kris). Can recommend to anyone, and we'll certainly be returning customers next time we want a weekend getaway.

Everything was beautiful, the grounds were well taken care of, and the customer service was top-notch. The price was reasonable for the experience we got for it — it was so incredibly fun and meaningful to have the ability to have the entire bridal party (all from out of town and out of state) stay in one place together! We have so many great memories from cook mansion and look forward to making many more in the future, as we will absolutely return for business as often as we can! Also noteworthy, the breakfast was delicious with far more options than I expected! Thank you so very much to Casey, John, and Kris!

It was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and one of the best overnight stays I have had. The Victorian era home was beautiful and clean. The room was very comfortable. Just behind the house was an amazing waterfall. The Innkeeper Kris was a great host. He made us feel at home and served up a delicious breakfast. I will recommend this b&b to family and friends and I will definitely return.

By far the best B and B I've ever stayed at. From the moment my wife and I walked into the door it was like heaven. Was greeted by Kris and he made us feel like we were at home. Made our stay here fabulous. Definitely have to mention the breakfast in the morning. Outstanding! If you're into old mansions with tons of history this is the place. And again a big thank you to Kris. Mahalo brother for making our stay memorable.

We had a great stay at Cook mansion. Kris the host was so friendly and polite and made a pretty good breakfast with lots of options! He was always checking in on our needs and offering lots of suggestions of things to do which we took all of them! The house is beautifully restored, floors are a little noisy if staying on the bottom floor though but considering the age of the home some of that's to be expected. Rooms and beds were very clean and well kept. You guys are doing a great job, we look forward to another chance to come back.

My husband and I wanted to explore Watkins Glen on our first Anniversary. We couldn't have made a better decision than to stay at The Cook Mansion. Kris was the best host we've ever had. He was helpful in giving restaurant ideas as well as fun local activities. We felt right at home. The surrounding views were amazing with a waterfall within walking distance and a small pond that made you feel like you stepped back in time. Breakfast was always filling, with lots of options to choose from and the room we stayed in was comfortable, clean, and cozy. We would, and have already, recommended this bed and breakfast to anyone looking to get-away for the weekend.

This was our first time at a B&B and we can't wait to come back here! Kris is such a nice guy. He is here if you need him and always asking if we need anything. The house is gorgeous. The balcony is awesome. The grounds are beautiful. Definitely coming back here.

I must say we have never been to a B&B my husband and I just got home yesterday and already cannot wait to book again! Such a beautiful place so clean and comfortable and spacious even the bathroom was huge. Kris was amazing from the minute he checked us in till the minute he checked us out and gave us advise about where to have dinner and about the town. The breakfast was great too. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Great expirence looking forward ti coming back again.

We are not able to rave about Cook Mansion enough. Mike and I hosted our wedding here; Kris was an outstanding host and we can't thank him enough for his kindness and assistance. Casey was amazing and so helpful and she let us to create the casual wedding/picnic we wanted. Because of Cook Mansion and them our wedding was exactly what we dreamed it to be! Our family and friends loved it and many have discussed return visits. Thank you Kris and Casey (and family) Cook Mansion now has a very special place in our hearts.

We will definitely be back! As we are driving back home today we are discussing the family annual trip with my mom and coming here as well as bringing our own children and grandchild here soon. The Shequaga room was beautiful waterfall view right outside window, had black out curtains for my husband who loves the dark and the bed was both beautiful also comfortable. The breakfast was hearty, tasty, and there was a variety. The host Kris very personable, accomodating and a wonderdul guide of the area. He followed up with us on our needs, thoughts if the meals and just how our excursion went. He was genuine, and committed to phenomenal customer service. The location near Glen Watkins National park the Gorge trail a must experience. We did the vineyards for tastings and I have to say that the Glenora vineyard had the most comprehensive tasting providing cheeses to compliment tge wine. It was a beautiful trip that started off perfect at Cook Mansion and ended perfectly with Cook Mansion. As I said initially WE WILL BE BACK!

Kris was a great host, very friendly, very personable and very enjoyable to speak to. The hotel itself was beautiful, especially with the waterfall on the property. The only complaint I had was the shades, or lack there of. It got bright in the room early, which means I woke up early. Overall our stay was just about perfect.

Cook Mansion was very comfortable. The rooms was spacious and very clean. The view outside was pleasant including a waterfall right outside the door. The host Kris was very accommodating and cooked a delicious breakfast in addition to giving great advice on places to go in the area. We would definitely come back.
