Gr8 place… nice place and gr8 location…

Stamford suits hotel is a very good hotel for you if you are in Stamford. Its about 22 minutes walk away from Stamford Railway Station and 10 minutes walk from the nearest Bus boarding point. Hotel has all necessary facilities included. They do provide a station drop and pickup shuttles every hour in morning and evening. They have a paid laundry service availability. They have a tie up with Stamford Club for gym and swimming pool facilities. You need to get an access card from the reception when you are going to club that is around 3 blocks away from the hotel.

Now I know art deco to be vintage or just plain old. The first room was awful, the bed was uncomfortable, there was a musty smell in the room and there was mice droppings in the kitchen. Went to the front desk and complained, they gave us another room that was a bit better. The bed was more comfortable and the room was cleaner… But, I would not ever be staying here again.

Awful place don't waste your money here. They claim it sleeps 6 — they had no extra bed linen for the sofa bed finally gave us one single blanket with no sheets. The blanket must have bed bugs — gave us rashes. the towels were dirty with baked on gunk both the front desk guys — AM & PM were very rude. There was no one that would even listen to our complaints. They just didn't care. Don't be fooled by online pictures ; the place is run down & looks nothing like the pictures stay away.

Very nice hotel in a great location. The room was exceptionally nice with a separate bedroom and living room that had a full size kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and sink. Stocked with dishes, silver ware and pots and pans, with a bar, pull out sofa sleeper. Parking was convenient and only a walk away from park and sidewalk cafes in Stamford. The only negative and wasn't a concern for us as we only stayed 2 nights is that they charge for coffee in room and no detergent to rinse out the dishes that they provided. They did have a continental breakfast each morning with coffee and juices. When we are in the area again we will definitely stay there again!

Very nice hotel in the heart of the city. Spacious apartment style hotel and within walking distance to many restaurants, bars and a park. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. The only drawback was being on the first floor.

I enjoyed my stay with at the Stamford Suites Hotel. The room was more than big enough. Not knowing the area it was nice having a parking spot at the hotel. It's location was perfect. Just a short walk from food and entertainment.

No paper towels no ice machine Has a coffee machine but no pot or coffee. Very dated. It is a suite with oven stove and frig but no soap to wash with. Ice tray is very tiny. Not all impresses.

This is an outdated hotel the rooms stunk and I found a roach in my room… the bed was made so sloppy that it looked as if someone had slept in it. The room I had was so outdated for the price they should be ashamed of the service. The breakfast was horrible, the food was cold, the fruit was starting to turn. The pastries were hard… and it was so dark inside the entry and at the check-in counter. There were no seating for breakfast the food was in the lobby… someone should contact the health dept…

Decent place in downtown. Stayed here for a month. The service was good.

Pathetic service and arrogant staff, they dont care about the customers as they know short term visitors cannot do anything, the shuttle service is very limited and is not part of the services, they say the shuttle is a courtesy service and can refuse you anytime. There are many grievances as customer, and when you complaint about it they say we dont care this is what you get.

Nice rooms… but jacuzzi didn't work and there was no pool. Almost seemed abandoned.

We only stayed one night. We came back to hotel late and no one was at desk was told they had a pool was two blocks away. Very overpriced. Construction work across the street was loud. Would not recommend at all.

It was really clean beds super comfortable but the door keys didnt work great.

I was here in April, 2016 and the rooms along was spacious and comfortable and the hot tub was amazing and the front desk clerk was cool and we talk and laugh so I had so much fun no complaints so far.

People who are looking for kitchen facility for them this is good place. Facilities are fine. I think there was a problem with water or towels I am not sure, frequently I used to get rashes on my body. First time in my life I experienced rashes.

First of all, when looking up this hotel, it showed that there was an indoor pool. There isn't any pool at all. Actually you can use the Stamford Athletic Club but they close at 6:00 on a Saturday night. The heat in the room did not work. We were moved to another room. We were thirsty and wanted a snack. They had a vending machine but it didn't work. I asked if I could cancel my room and get my money back but was told that I could cancel my room but would not get any money back. I will not be staying here again if I am ever back in Stamford.

Total disgust! Asked for a 300 incidental deposit which was held for over a week. Wanted to cancel my reservation on the spot and there's no manager available to authorize that. The woman at the front desk is incompetent and could not reach her manager. I used another debt cart for the deposit and she clearly does not know how to process a debit card. I had to run to a chase bank withdraw cash then to Citibank to deposit it so I can pay THIER ridiculous deposit. Now let's get into the outdated oriental decor from the 1980's. Dingy, worn and well used is how to describe this place. BIG mistake, go to the Marriott for 125 a night and a $50 deposit you can pay in cash and pick up the morning you check out.

A dump. No indoor pool like the pictures they post on the website, and the kitchen sink hadn't been cleaned, ever.

Very slow at night, have to have a room key to turn on power. Clean and comfortable. No hot breakfast. Safe location, right across the street from the police station.

Interesting property. Great rate and convenient location.

Online price at 2 am was 104.00 Walked in and asked best he could do being that I was only going to be in room for 4 hours. He tried to charge me 159.00 thinking I was desperate. Sad.

This isn't really a hotel. It's more like an apartment building for itinerant workers. As such, it has the feel of a low-rent urban co-op, and you can typically get a good deal: 10-20% off whatever they quote you. It is clean, but furnishings are outdated. The rooms I've stayed in either smelled of BO or curry. Location is great: steps from Stamford and train to Manhattan. There is typically only one person on staff in the whole building, so you may need to change your own lightbulbs.

Pro's: Rooms are huge and clean. This is probably the best value in Stamford for a room of it's size. Clean rooms and establishment. Con's: Front desk is really anal about visitors and there full breakfast is a machine full of cherio's and some yogurt.

Good Place to stay in Stamford. Has Big Hall, Kitchen, Bed room, 2 TVs. Continental Breakfast is complementary.

Stayed there for a couple of nights. Perfect for family. Large room with lots of space to spread out. Breakfast is not that variety but fresh fruit is a plus. Will definitely come back.
