My two childhood buddies and I came up for the Hall of Fame Inductions and stayed at the Holiday Inn this weekend. Had a terrific time at hotel, thanks in part, to Kasey at the front desk and Lily in the breakfast room. Two sweet, caring individuals. Because of them, we plan on returning! :)

We were informed by the staff at check in that in a week it would be changed to a Quality inn, which would make ore since given the cheap quality of the room. Could not adjust the shower head so no way to shower and not get your hair wet if you wanted to, the lampshade was discolored and looked like it was molded, and the desk chair almost fell apart when it was sat in… NOT what is expected from a Holiday Inn Express.

Breakfast was horrible, sausage was burnt and like rubber, no English, eggs were horrible. Kids were running up and down the halls and yelling till after ten! But the room was very nice and bed was very comfortable.

Wedding reception, food and staff excellent. Very friendly and most accommodating. Great job, well done would definitely recommend to others.

Clean rooms and my belongings have not been disturbed by cleaning staff. Receptionists have all been polite. The shower is not hot in my room and the water does not drain fast enough so I end up standing in a puddle while I shower.

Was sick on a camping trip and wound up at this hotel for the entire weekend. Wasn't fun, but was a good place to be with a really bad migraine!

Compliments to Kasey! What an asset to the Holiday Inn franchise. Her customer service skills were on point and put my nerves at ease with early check in process!

10 days at the Holiday Inn, nothing special, refrigerator was very noisy, toilet was loose, bed was comfy and noise was minimal. It’s a little off the beaten path but that was ok.

Hotel front desk was great. Breakfast is decent but the view was wonderful! It has a pool, gym, restaurant, and a bar. I probably forgot to mention other amenities. Stayed for the night and didn't get no complaints had a two queen bed, nice fridge, microwave, and coffee. Clean room too very important!

We had out of town guests staying here and we met them for some dinner at the Out Of Town Grille. Food was very tasty, and service staff was very friendly!

Breakfast was ok. Rooms and the set up is pretty dated and terrible.

The rooms weren't cramped, and the beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi was easy to access as well.

It was a cute place. Would reccomend.

Nice place, clean and cozy… but the food here… UH-MAZE-INGGGGG! I order dinner here regularly and fall in love over and over again.

Hotel was good but not a lot available in the area. The bar tender in the restaurant was incredibly rude so avoid that area and you'll be fine.

A really excellent hotel serving the Oneonta area. The service was prompt and courteous, the room has spacious and comfortable, and the provided breakfast was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately I only stayed one night and was unable to check out the restaurant or other amenities but I will certainly make it a point to stay here again if passing through.

Went for a wedding outside of Oneonta. Room was clean. Front desk ppl were nice and very helpful. Shower was ok — shower head needed to be replaced in my room — couldn't adjust it. If you're planning to use the gym, there is an elliptical, recumbent bike and a treadmill. There are also a few weighted balls — that's it. Rooms have a midsized fridge (mine was noisy), small microwave and a Keurig. The coffee in the lobby was really strong. Got on the road to drive 4hrs back to NYC at 5am, didn't need anything beyond 8oz the coffee they provided. There's a lot close (

This hotel was quiet, the staff polite, and the breakfast actually pretty good! The room was clean and location was good. I was woken up a few times by my fridge (it buzzed like my alarm), but it was a perfectly serviceable hotel.

Lovely and convenient place to stay for our trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Beds were quite comfortable after a day on our feet… The free "continental breakfast" turned out to be quite nice as they served eggs, bacon, homefries and fresh waffles in addition to the standard continental faire… For those with 4-legged friends, it turns out this location is pet friendly, although we didn't hear a peep or a bark in our room. Only unfortunate thing was a few pellets I found on the floor in the corner by the a. C. /heating unit when we were packing to leave…

The rooms have no plug ins with the exception of hidden behind the bed in the center. Who want to go on an Easter egg hunt to plug their phone in? Get rid of the alarm clock and give us either a lamp with an extra plug in or how about some sort of charger port! The restaurant is ok, bartender less than capable but friendly, the beds are quite comfortable, rooms are always clean, staff is very friendly, but seriously 21st century!

Vert attentive staff. Upon arrival, the room smelled kinda bad. We told them, and they sprayed, making it tolerable. Shower had no pressure, and the toilet handle needed to be jiggled. The staff made the issues more tolerable, because they really were nice.

Staff was very welcoming, even at 1:00 in the morning without a reservation, praying that they had a room available. Great variety at breakfast.

Have stayed here a long time ago and was hesitant to stay, but it was for only one night and was the cheapest option. We were presently surprised. The room was clean and has been somewhat updated. There were no issues at all. However, the free continental breakfast was lacking and the other parts of the hotel have not been updated. If you need a quick room in order to sleep in, this was worth it for the price.

We had very nice stay at this Hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms at very reasonable price. Staff was very helpful when we had car problem,. Breakfast was good with scramble eggs and waffles. Room rates are better than other hotels nearby, I will stay here again. Thank you.

We had a nice weekend stay here for a night in a King room for a very reasonable price for this area. The hotel was very busy over the weekend but the hotel staff was very friendly and cheerful. The room was very clean and housekeepers were very helpful. We enjoyed breakfast too. We will come back again. Complements to the very helpful staff especially the staff at the breakfast area.

The Inn was nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms weren't anything fancy but they were adequate (2 full size beds, flat screen, AC, decent bathroom). The place was very clean, and the room maids were very friendly). There us a lounge area, and a nice inground pool, a workout room, conference areas and a dining area. We received complimentary breakfasts, which were pretty good. Had fruit, clean silverware, yogurt, breads and bagels, oatmeal, cereal, coffee, OJ, apple juice and water. And the main stuff though were eggs, sausage and axon, and french roast sticks with maple syrup. The bacon could have been better cooked and the fr3nch toast sticks were hard the first morning, but softwr the second morning. My only complaint would be that the lounge and bar area should be open later on fridays and weekends.

Ordered my dinner from a local place. The desk staff refused to allow my food to be delivered. I was busy doing work in my room. Had to go to the desk to get my meal (was a pretty long way). When I expressed my frustration. The desk just said it was for my protection (in a snooty way) Also later I was trying to nap and they have a employee drilling and hammering causing me not to get my rest. Very unhappy with this place…

Rooms are dated, but clean. Service at the desk is excellent, but can be slow as desk personnel seems to have other work responsibilities away from the desk. The restaurant service was not great. I ordered a hot breakfast. The toast was cold and the waitress made me get my own jelly from the Continental breakfast station. Underwhelming is an accurate term.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Mainly because after a long day of travelling the desk clerk allowed me to check and hour and a half before check in time. I also woke up late the next day and they let me check out an hour late. The beds was comfy and the sheets/mattress were spotless. There was a microwave and mini-fridge which was greatly appreciated. The hotel is quite and is close to colleges, a skating ring, shopping center and a Wal-Mart. I would definitely stay here again.

If you need to cancel it has to be 3 days before check in or you loose all your money. No electric outlets by bed except for one on lamp that did not work. Had to buy extension cord for cpap machine. They leave side door unlocked. Room and staff ok. Probably would not book a room here again because of cancelation policy. Never heard of such a policy anywhere I have been. Oh and like other reviewer coffee this morning in lobby was like mud and burnt. Room doors don't always close behind you leaving room not secure.

This is substandard for Holiday Inn. I can't believe it still has their name on it! We had 5 rooms and everyone has a problem. I was put on a back corridor and walking to my room I thought I was at motel 6

Stayed here in July, full of Little league baseball teams (ok), room furnishings old, room conditions old and worn. Price $274. /night. We moved to Binghamton, stayed in a Doubletree for a qtr of the price. Will camp out before staying here. : (

A very nice hotel! and for under 100$ a night (with AAA) I can't complain! Quiet and clean with friendly staff.

Are you a fan of dog smell and paying a premium to smell it? Do you like looking at bad dog owners who let their dogs go the the bathroom in a open area by the pool and "basketball court" where anyone can step in it and track it around the hotel? Do you like mystery stained carpeting and staff who literally has no idea what they are talking about? Then this is your place.

Time to renovate. Hallways and rooms smell, carpet disgusting. Oh and their cancellation policy stinks. Read before you book. Had a death in the family called to cancel 2 days prior and they would not cancel the reservation, would only give credit. I never had a hotel chain refuse to cancel a reservation before. The first and last time I will stay at any holiday inn. If you are planning a Hall of Fame trip and the hotels close to Cooperstown are booked wait. There is nothing. NOTHING in Oneonta. Hall of Fame was awesome by the way.

This hotel is truly one of the best. I cant say enough about the people who work here the front desk is run by people who are very kind and always smiling they will help you in just about anyway possible. The restaurant has great food and a great staff working there the bar area has a large selection of drinks and the workers are outstanding and can turn a bad day into a good day and make you feel at home. Thanks so much everyone for the great job you do. Now to the hotel. The rooms are keep very clean no smell nice soft beds and plenty of towels, for the elderly and handicap they have rooms very close to your parking spot 10-30 feet away very safe for the kids they have a great pool very nice size a nice work out area, large basket ball court, sand volleyball a picnic area with tables and tons of chairs and a large field for football or to toss baseball and a movie theater 2 miles away this place has it all, just want to let other know how great this hotel and the staff is. Keep up the great work and see you all soon. Cincinnati.
