My family and friends stayed at this GEM of a hotel this past weekend. We were a group of 15 and occupied the eight rooms. We truly enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space. We grilled food, had morning yoga sessions, an on site scavenger hunt, played lawn and board games and gathered around the fire pit each night stargazing and enjoying the beautiful fairly lights in the trees. The millennials spent late nights inside the beautiful outdoor enclosed lounge room. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchens were a bonus. The owner Michelle is such a gracious, beautiful woman. Some of us enjoyed the nearby lake and beach while the others went hiking. Everyone enjoyed their time and regretted we did not book a longer stay. Michelle, you have a wonderful establishment and we will definitely come back. Stay well.

We loved our freshly painted extremely clean room. Also loved the back porch picnic tables and all the artistic touches throughout the resort!

Cottage like rooms with a kitchen. There is space out the back door for bbq. Quiet. ;)

Quaint motel with comfortable bedding and ample climate control. A lovely breakfast basket with multiple offerings greeted us on the table as we entered. Water occasionally changed temperature while showering, but otherwise comfortable. Would recommend to anyone looking for affordable lodging upstate. Great value!

Very clean. Comfortable beds. The basket of continental breakfast and snacks in the room was great! Full kitchen with supplies and full size fridge was handy.

Quaint, one-floor hotel in the Catskills. Rooms are old but well appointed, full kitchen is appreciated. Didn't interact with the staff at all, which could be a plus or a minus depending on the type of person you are. Amenities were great, the area was quiet, and it was a very relaxing stay.

The room is very cozy. They provided a breakfast basket, and the kitchen is stocked with whatever you need. The bed is comfortable, and it is very quiet!

Homey, comfortable, and clean, and full kitchenette, stocked with basic Continental breakfast. Non-traditional colors and a BBQ in the back yard make it very homey. Bring groceries and you'll have a great nest in the heart of the Catskills.

Had a very pleasant and cozy two nights at the Starlite. The owner, Michelle, was extremely kind and "real". I was extremely impressed with the little thoughtful touches like the adorable screened in backyard cabana. I wanted to stay in there the whole day! So comfy and cool and cozy. Not to mention the milk and breakfast basket that is in the fridge when you arrive. We didn't even have a reservation and felt like she was there to make you happy and as comfortable as possible. Glad we had the opportunity to meet you Michelle! :)

Great place for a night or two! Wifi, free netflix, free hbo go, cozy backyard.

Stayed here for 5 days and they really do think of everything. You have a full size kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal right there waiting for you. I plan on going here again next summer for another week because I wasn't able to hike all the mountains that this place is in the center of.

Awesome place. Nothing they don't think of, from bug spray on the tables outside, to a breakfast basket inside. All the rooms include access to the backyard where there are enough grills and picnic tables for all guests.

I did not like the place. Our room didn't have a heater in it. We reserved a room with a king size bed, when we got there, they had none. Half the lights didn't work and we found a cat running around the room. I would never stay there.

Great place to stay with a great hostess"Michelle". A very clean and relaxing setting with a seating area in the back yard with screened in rooms. A very nice place to stay. :)

The people there were soo incredibly nice and hospitable. They provide you with all kinds of food anytime you need it. She got us milk and pre stocked our fridge and coal for us. The room was soo clean and I felt right at home. When we walked in we almost cried it was just unbelievably homey. And the location couldn't of been more perfect. Right by phonecia and Woodstock. The price wasn't really bad either. We stayed for about 8 days. It may not be some fancy famous hotel but when your staying in the mountains that's not what you want. You want a clean homey place to make you feel at home in the mountains. I truly felt like this incredibly kind hearted people let me stay in their home. They deserve 20 stars it blew my mind away.

I love it there! Every time I am in the area that is were I stay. The rooms are great and the beds so comfortable. I love the backyard. It's beautiful out there. The breakfast baskets are so welcoming. I recommend it to everyone.

The owner takes obvious pride in the place and it shows with nice touches throughout. Yes, this was a 1960's motel once, but the renovations make it a very pleasant place to stay. The beds are very comfortable. Can't beat the place if you're skiing at Belleayre.

This the place to stay if you are touring or just visiting the Catskills Clean rooms, and the shower head is high enough to wash your hair without bending down like some other motels. Breakfast basket every morning and fridge, stove and microwave in all rooms. Very friendly staff and would recommend to anyone. 5 stars all the way.

Owners of the hotel are super chill. Let us have bbqs and never got mad when we didnt go to bed at a decent hour. Dont think id want to be here while the snow is around. Wouldnt be able to get to town for groceries in a blizzard. May be coming back for vacation so I can really enjoy it. If you get the chance ask John, the owner to hook you up with am awesome porkchop marinade.
