This is a VERY VERY racist and prejudice establishment. If you notice they have all the black people on the overnights so no one will see them and I happened to be the only black day time person. And they fired me due to me having MY OWN BUSINESS OUTSIDE OF WORK across the street and they were upset they couldn’t make any money off of that. They also have rats in the kitchen saw one with my own eyes. I wouldn’t stay here, work here or patronize this place AT ALL. Honestly they should just tear it down or sell it to different owners that aren’t racist and accepts everyone. And they also don’t have any handicapped access so people will a wheel chair. You would have to carry they up the steps yourself. Pathetic and sickening place.

The staff, atmosphere, beauty, rooms, absolutely wonderful place!

First of all — the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I was disappointed when we got to the room. There was a dying plant with what appeared to be a bugle? (The snack food) in it. The window sills were black with dust, as was much of the fixtures in the room. The bathroom had some stains that made it seem dirty. The floor looks dirty but it was clean (see pictures). The phone didn’t work and the free Wi-Fi was not strong enough to check for an update on my iPad, let alone download one. The building was very cool architecturally and it’s windows were amazing. However, I feel like considering the limited amount of rooms, and the fact that our room was ready early — they could have at least dusted the window sills (floor level window sills) or watered the poor plant and removed the little snack left (also pictured)

From the first steps on the property, we were greeted and whisked inside this beautiful property. The attention to detail from not only the staff but the design of the place is amazing. The signature drinks created and served in the bar area were a colorful delight in all ways. You have a butler service available for whatever you may need! They made us dinner reservations and even offered to take us to our dinner. The sweet surprise you find awaiting you when you first enter your room. I couldn’t have been happier to celebrate our anniversary in such an amazing atmosphere.

We were greeted upon arrival. The Mansion is beautiful and tastefully decorated. So many wonderful amenities. We will definitely return.

This place is beautiful and I cannot say enough about the staff. The owner went above and beyond during our stay which I will never forget. This is truly a place that if you have not stayed at you definitely should. I would give it 10 stars.

UPDATE: they made it right, above and beyond. The service I had come to expect from the butlers. Thank you. We had a wonderful Buffalo getaway at The Mansion! The staff was welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the amenity of the car service so we didn’t have to worry about parking downtown. A special thanks to Cade for the wonderful service and friendly conversation.

Absolutely beautiful! The staff was phenomenal! They paid attention to detail and that extra touch meant a lot. We will definitely go back.

Absolutely amazing. The architecture is wonderful, the setup and decor is just as great. The atmosphere is just incredible. The customer service is truly in a class of its own, and once you experience the hospitality of the staff, it's easy to see why The Butlers and this hotel continually win awards. It's one thing to talk about it, it's another to experience it. We did have a small issue checking in due to software issues, but even though it was no fault of their own, they went what I felt was above and beyond to still make everything as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The Bar environment and the continental breakfast is, just as the service, above any hotel I've ever stayed at. The shuttle service is wonderful. We were shuttled to our dinner and entertainment venue in a Range Rover. To see that these amenities and the attention to detail are standard fare, and to get all of this at (for amenities and services offered) a very reasonable price, is wonderful. Also, I'd like to specifically mention Roger. Roger was personable, beyond polite and it's easy to see he cares about what he does. Big thumbs up to him and of course the rest of the staff, I'm just bad with names.

This was our second visit to the mansion on Delaware, last time we had a standard room and were very disappointed with it but thought we would give it another shot and rented a suite.
The room was poorly laid out decorations were old and dated and room in a poor state.

Work booked a room for the annual Christmas party. Great time and the facilities and staff wer wonderful.

Perfect place for a wedding! Everything was wonderful for the entire weekend!

I attended the Cocktails on the Lawn event. The ticket was very reasonably priced and included a drink/food voucher. The drinks were great, the food was awesome and they tied in to the theme well together. The service was awesome and the decor was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this event to others.

The place is fantastic and one of a kind experience. Happy hour from 5 to 7 PM. The butlers are very nice ppl and are very accommodating.

It was a pretty decent place. Just wasn't as extravagant as one may think but overall was good. The staff were super friendly, the accommodations were nice, minimal for the event I was attending but nice. Others can definitely make the most of the mansion through proper setup and other furnitures additions. The food server was more of a pick me up lunch but great! Loved the smoked salmon and caviar!

The Mansion is a beautiful high end hotel in downtown Buffalo. The Butlers were wonderful, fun to talk to and extremely helpful. The room was old school with a number of original decor. The minibar downstairs was great for pre dinner drinks and European breakfast the next morning has carrot cake! Great stay.

I stayed in the suite, which was a fabulous room I'd highly suggest. The hotel itself is high end and inviting.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The downstairs rooms are really nice. The room we stayed in was in need of updating and the heater was really loud through the night.

We needed a long overdue night away for some alone time while the kids stayed home with family. So we opted for Buffalo-our old stomping ground where we lived when we were first married. The Mansion is beautiful and we had a wonderful stay. Service was great and loved the valet parking. Evening appetizers, cocktails and Land Rover options. We were about 2-3 miles too far for us to use the Land Rover option, but maybe next time. Thank you for your hospitality and allowing us a wonderfully relaxing time away.

Staff was super friendly and the place is in a great location. Easy drive to all things Buffalo. The rooms though need a complete update. The bathroom tub/crazy shower thing caught our eye. Our "upgraded" room's nozzles were loose and unmovable, the door was broken and the tub was more yellow/gray then white with gunk in all the water catch areas. Neither of used the jet tube.

I went there for a holiday party. The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor was elegant and food was flavorful and wonderful.

The mansion’s exterior is beautiful. Inside there is a lot of charm in the parlor rooms but man… the rooms and the rest of the interior desparatley need an updating. The decor and the rooms feel like nothing has been done since the 90s. It kind of felt like staying at an expensive holiday inn. Excellent staff though. Top notch service.

I had a wonderful visit at MODA. The building is breathtaking, you can envision women in corsets and big gowns enjoying tea in the library. The staff was absolutely accommodating and a pleasure to be with. I especially appreciate the impromptu tour Marty gave of the ballroom areas. Overall I would go again and would recommend to a friend!

Our parents came to visit my girlfriend and me in Buffalo and they stayed here. We spent time in the lobby, playing pool and using the honor bar. The butlers were very friendly and it looked like a really nice establishment.

Stay away. Ruined my 5 yr anniversary. Screwed up my reservation, charged my credit card in full, turned my wife and I away without a room available, and NEVER REFUNDED my money. The office Mgr took my reservation over the phone and booked the date in the wrong month. No e-mail, no phone call, no concierge service whatsoever. Simply charged my credit card a few weeks before our anniversary date. I plead with the front office mgr for an hour to refund my card. He kept repeating, "There are no grounds for which to refund your money. " I asked to speak with the GM and was told she wasn't there. I called several times that week and was never granted a return call, so I kept calling and she finally answered. She told me that she would absolutely refund my money and it would take a few days. 2 weeks went by. No refund. I kept calling back and forced to leave messages. 1 Month later, still no refund. Took my money for absolutely NO SERVICES rendered. This is no way to do business, especially in a small market like Buffalo, NY. They could have had a customer for life, but chose to burn me over the cost of a night's stay. Any apology or excuse/response to this post should be ignored. I gave the management team plenty of chances to be reasonable.

Great location, beautiful boutique hotel with wonderful staff. We used their complimentary Land Rover transport service to get around town, it really made the stay enjoyable. The breakfast had many options and put the normal hotel continental breakfast to shame.

I stayed here for about 11 nights, quite a long time and it was literally a home away from home. I couldn't have asked for more, all the staff were the most friendliest I have ever come across. Every single one of them would go out of their way for you and I am actually going to miss them! They were very accommodating as well. I originally was staying for a slightly shorter duration and then extended by a few nights so ended up reserving two diff rooms, but they kindly arranged an upgrade for me at no extra cost so I didn't have to change rooms and so I ended up in one of the grand rooms from the classic queen room which was amazing. The room was massive as was the bathroom. I found my room always clean. The butler chauffeur service is perfect to get around nearby but I often preferred just to walk and there are many places nearby. I absolutely loved my stay here and if I had to come to Buffalo again, I would 100% stay here again. I usually get tired of staying in a hotel towards the end of a stay but this was probably the first time I felt the complete opposite. Thank you everyone at the Mansion especially the people at the reception desk for making my entire experience in Buffalo much more pleasurable and memorable. I couldn't recommend this place more.

Just book it. This place is stunning in every way possible. Service is second to none, tidy downstairs bar, great outdoor garden to eat your complimentary European breakfast. I can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back.

Andre was the best butler ever. He has so personable and made our visit so special along with the rest of the staff. The Mansion is so beautiful with its old world decor. We celebrated my wife Linda's birthday there. We really liked the chauffeuring that is included. My Beautiful Linda had a very special birthday. The venue is superb; the architecture is classic. The food, from creative appetizers to delicious desserts, is incredible. Highly recommend!

Being from Buffalo, living within a couple miles of The Mansion, we have never had occasion or need to go inside, but last night our family had a quaint birthday party and everything was perfect. The mansion is Beautiful, and elegant. ALL of the staff members were so polite, professional and friendly, oh and very helpful. When cake was served a gentleman in our party mentioned to someone near him that a glass of milk would be so awesome with his chocolate cake, and in moments was in his hand. He didn't even have ask the staff for it.

If you are looking for a place that makes you feel like royalty look no further. This was my first time staying here and it won't be my last. The unique and beautiful environment paired with some of the best hospitality I have ever experienced makes this place a must for those in need of a relaxing and memorable night away. Go to Buffalo when listening to Josh Groban concert, spent two nights at The Mansion Hotel. This historical hotel is charming, the staff reacted quickly to guest needs, than the nearby "big-box hotel" is much better. Butler at the hotel will drive you anywhere you want to go to the city, and the location of the hotel is very suitable for sightseeing on foot. Hotels also benefit every night at 5 o'clock in the evening to 7 points, wine tasting offers continental breakfast every morning. In honour of the late …

Excellent gem right in the heart of Downtown Buffalo. The Butler Service is Top Notch. Breakfast was simply amazing and the staff is extremely attentive to your needs.

The definition of service. The Butlers remember us year to year, including our restaurant preferences and our anniversary date. It's wonderful, it's marvelous.

We had an incredible stay here for our anniversary. The butlers were incredibly friendly — they drove us anywhere we wanted to go in the Range Rover. We enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies when we arrived, and the top-shelf alcohol at the included happy hour… we also loved the room (very high ceilings, great bathroom, very cozy feeling), and last but not least the continental breakfast was the best we have ever had. We will definitely be recommending this place and be coming back ourselves!

Hands down one of the best hotels we ever visited. From the moment that we checked in until the day we checked out they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The next time we visit Buffalo there is no doubt where we will stay. The Mansion hands down.
