Budget Inn Whitehall

I fish alot. This hotel has lots of fish bate just crawling around on the bed. It saved me lots of money. I just grabbed a few hellgrammite and a few crickets out of my pillow case and I was off to the river. 5 stars!

Good price they don't ask don't tell.

This place hasn't been updated in years there was nothing in Whitehall. The County puts the homeless up there. How can a homeless person get a job to better themselves in Whitehall with nothing around. They'd have to walk hours to get anywhere.

I just wanted my Wi-Fi to work as I travel the North East for work. Can't change my room, can't get a refund, stuck in this dump of rude people for a night while I use my data. Thanks for this.

This hotel houses pedofiles who have just been released from prison and have nowhere to go. Definitely not a place for children. The room had no heat, just a tiny little space heater plugged into the wall, that either heated the room or the bathroom, not both… in January might I add. No working phone, no Wi-Fi, and the beds were horribly uncomfortable with stained bedding. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again if it were free and the only option.

The owner won't pay his past due bills, no phone. No Wi-Fi. And the owner Shaki Bhatti has no problem assaulting veterans or using degrading language on a stroke survivor. This place is a joke!

I spent ten peaceful nights in this very comfortable motel. The room I stayed in was spacious with two Queen size beds, a roomy set of drawers and a nice closet. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. What I especially liked about this motel was the peaceful surroundings. My room was in the back with hillside views. The shower water was hot and never once ran out for my good long hot showers. I was welcomed by a friendly innkeeper but what impressed me more was that she also welcomed my Louisiana Hound Dog. The price was great and there was no extra charge for my dog. That really helped me to stay within my budget. I liked the convenience of having a fridge and microwave in my room. The room temperature was always perfect. The staff was friendly and responsive and the other guests were friendly and pleasant. The next time I'm visiting the area this Budget Inn is where I'll be staying.

Room is freezing… ac was set very low. I turned it off but it's still cold. Doesn't appear to have heat in here. Door was hard to get locked. No phone on room. Lamps were unplugged. One bed had pillows pulled out & sitting on top of covers. Very small TV with no remote.

Worst place I have ever stayed in my 48 years. Molded bathroom, toilet leaking, floor in bathroom rotted, freezer iced over, mirrors streaked, rugs were FILTHY, 2 sitting chairs looked like they had sat outside & been rained on horribly stained, towel covering window instead of screen, comforters looked like they had been urinated on, debris all over the floor, not even a phone in the room. Thanks to the French Mountain Inn in Queensbury for referring people up there. The folks on the motorcycle in the hole next to us who travel cross country would have slept in our truck if we had left it unlocked. The local McDonald's informed us that this dump is where the county houses their pedophiles… good thing I'm almost 50! Should have known better when the office stunk of curry and there was a huge sign that said NO REFUNDS. Wish there was a spot to post pictures for all to see! Sleep in your car and go to a KOA to clean up, heck, jump in the creek instead of this dive!

Wow this place was horrable. There was white stuff on the blankets and a condom under the bed. The hotel manager was very rude and acted as if I was trying to scam him. I was in the room for no more than ten minutes I asked for my money back and was told there was no refunds. I had to find another room in Vermont that was fifteen minutes away and much cleaner and about the same price.
