The Lodge at Harrisburg Lake is simply the best! Stuart, Denise, Alec and Chef Doug made our visit so special. The minute we arrived we were welcomed with open arm’s. The lodge itself is lovely with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The grounds are impeccable along with the large in-ground pool & a large open area for kickball and lacrosse games. The lake and all it offers kept the kids and adults busy for hours. The food was delicious and plentiful. The tavern is family friendly where adults and kids can enjoy themselves. Amazing atmosphere, great food, homecooked meals, set just a stones throw away from Lake George. Very family oriented and kid friendly. The tavern and lodge are like a second home ☺️ You won't be disappointed. Adults and kids will have a blast!

Stayed here for this past Thanksgiving with family (18 of us total and 4 dogs! ). Wonderful location and all the staff were so helpful, friendly and warm! Our 6 stayed in the Loon Chalet. 4 good sized bedrooms, all very bright and well appointed. Food was excellent and you never worried about leaving hungry! We’ll be returning again! Thank you Stewart and the whole team for making us feel welcomed!

If you want to experience a place that instantly feels like home in all the good ways — Then journey forth to the first dude ranch in the Adirondacks revisoned as the premier lakeside resort of upstate New York: tennis, basketball, volleyball, shuffleboard, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, tavern, resident chef, etc. Stewart and Denise are the heart and soul of this oasis at the edge of the wilderness. I literally fell in love in 24 hours and you will too. Love, RPG.

We just stayed at The Lodge at Harrisburg Lake over the Labor Day Weekend. We rented the Chalet Wolf house. There were 12 of us. If you read many of the reviews here, it’s a wonderful place to stay. It’s true, No cell service and Wi-Fi is spotty, but I saw that as a positive. It made us disconnect from our devices and connect as a family. We took advantage of the lake and kayaks and canoes. Swam some. Had an amazing breakfast at the lodge one morning. If renting one of the chalets, make sure to bring kitchen essentials like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, cleaning supplies, etc. The nearest full size grocery store is 30-40 minutes away, we brought our food prior to arriving. Didn’t find this grocery store until we were leaving for home. Beds are ok, when we come again, I plan on bringing foam for the sofa beds to make them more comfy. Other than that the entire place is awesome. Staff and owners were fantastic. We will be back!

Great food, bueatiful location with a lake. Kayaks and other equipment provided. Various lesuire activities available, bonfire at night + bar with pool. Everything you need is there :)

We were there this weekend from Thursday — Monday for a bachelorette weekend with 32 girls and had the most amazing time. The resort was very cozy and had the most amazing staff. The food was amazing also. Having the barn to ourselves to enjoy every moment. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend this special time with family & friends for my cousins bachelorette weekend.

Had a wonderful weekend at The Lodge with over 24 friends. Stewart and staff made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The accommodations and food were superb. I highly recommend this hidden treasure.

We stayed at the Lodge last week for a family reunion. There were 27 of us and it was the perfect destination for a family reunion! We rented the whole lodge. All of the rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool and lake were a great treat. The lake is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful! They had stand up paddle boards, canoes, etc. To use. Granted, they were older and not in the best shape, we still had a great time with them. The food is AMAZING! We ate breakfast every morning in the lodge and had 2 dinners. Every meal was outstanding. When we had gone out to a restaurant one of the nights, we were disappointed and wished we had eaten at the lodge. The tavern is also a really neat place and great place to gather and have fun with friends/family. Our groups only issue was the lack of "connectivity" — there is no cell phone service and spotty Wi-Fi. For some of us this was a treat and for some it created challenges. All in all the lodge is a gem. It's someplace that is truly special and I can't wait to go back. Stewart, Denise, Eli, and Doug were all so helpful and welcoming too!

After finding the lodge through a referral we have been here four times in a year and and are planning two more trips! We can’t put into words how amazing this place is. The chief Doug went out of his way to make my husband strawberry pancakes, the food is absolutely amazing we have stayed in a lot of places and the food at the lodge is the best. The chief Doug has some talent! Stewart and Denise treat us like family every time we stay and always go out of their way to make our stay pleasant. We have grown very close to them because they are such great people. Their property is next to a gorgeous lake. At night they have camp fires and this beautiful tavern where you can have drinks and play games. This place is great for kids, wedding, big get togethers or just a relaxing get away for couples. On top of that they are dog friendly. I would recommend them to anyone! You won’t be sorry if you book this place it is beautiful!

Im writing this after the second time of staying at the Lodge. There is nothing bad I can say about this place. From the first time we were here with my boyfriend, we knew we had to come back. Stuart and Denise and all other employees will go out of their way to make you feel like you’re home. The food is absolutely amazing, breakfast and dinner never disappoint. You have access to the pool, the lake and the tavern is also always a good place to meet people. We really enjoy our stay every time we are here. It’s relaxing, fun, and affordable. Great place for family, friends and dogs! If your looking to get away and enjoy nature (lake, hiking, pool, campfire) this is the place for you. I have been here twice and can happily say that Stuart and Denise go above and beyond for all their guests. They make you feel welcomed like family, and have the best food i’ve had in all of Lake George. They have a tavern at night time where everyone comes together to build new and existing relationships. Thank You to the Harrisburg staff for an unforgettable experience, we will be back soon! For previous reviewers who rated down because of internet and tv. They have plenty of TV in the lounge and tavern and Wi-Fi around the lodge.

Absolutely amazing. The accommodations are basic no TV or AC but we knew that ahead of time. The food is really good and it truly is dog friendly. Definitely will be coming back!

Stayed in the bear. It was very roomie and cozy for 4 adults and 2 kids. Especially how the staff tries to accommodate every request. Breakfast/dinner is mind blowing good, I could write a 5 star review on just that. Has pool, lake, kids game room, bar, hiking trails, and beautiful scenic view all over. Including right outside the bedroom windows.

The setup was wonderful for the amount of people that were there, waiters were great too and they were patient.

Best place ever to stay anytime winter or summer. Cozy and clean rooms, food very delicious also they have bar with really affordable prices. Great personal Irog bartender very cool and funny person Steeward owner of that place amazing person all the time when I go there I feel as at home. We rented the Wolf Lodge for the weekend. My parents planned the event there after they were there last year for a wedding. The staff was very accommodating. My cousins made use of the commodities such as the game room with foosball and ping pong as well as outside on the tennis court, we played pool in the bar as well. The field outside by the barn was big enough to play frisbee.

Very clean room, quiet surroundings, fantastic food. Only small negatives preventing a 5, namely internet did not work and TV in lounge on all the time. Great experience overall and will return.

This place is everything ive asked for. Fireplaces, pool, tavern, nightly campfire with smores with the kids. The staff arr so friendly and kind. The food is delicious and allways on time. The rooms are neat and cozy. There are plebty of activities for the kids. Tv, game room with foizball and ping pong ball, I have an 8 and 9 year old with me and they are having a blast. This Labor day weekend will be made with memories to remember. Thanks to tge lidge abd all there staff. We will be back!

Stuart and his staff are second to none. Breakfast and dinner are seriously to die for and the tavern and lake provide endless fun and entertainment for both the kids and adults. The value you get here is amazing. Breathtaking scenery, bin fires and smores, 35 minutes from Lake George, just a great place to relax and unwind.

Great place to get away from it all, tucked away in a beautiful wooded area, and about 11 miles from closest village. Most important the staff is awesome. After couple days you'll know everyone working there as well as other visitors. Big shut out to Zbyszek and Andrzej! The main lodge, with I think about 7 rooms has a small game room/sitting area and dinning room next door. The food buffet is limited but food is excellent and inexpensive. You'll get the menu ahead of time in your welcome email and just let them know if you wish to come for breakfast and/or dinner. We were there for a week and ate near every day. Highly recommend it. It's Polish / Ukrainian cuisine. Everyone loved it. The small kitchen near buffet is opened around the clock. There is cerial for kids, coffee machine, utensils, bowls, microwave and small fridge. There's a pool at lodge. The bar is across the road which includes large dance floor, piano, good music, very nice room with toys for little kids and another room with games for older kids like foosball, ping pong and large genga. Fireplace outside the bar every night with unlimited wood. The miniature golf that you may see on Google maps belongs to another hotel next door though. There is tennis, couple playhouses for kids outside, shuffle board and BBQ gas grill as well. The paddles and live vests are at the game room to take. Then walk to lake about 7 minutes.

Love this place! Second time I have stayed here and it does not disappoint. Quiet and relaxing if you're trying to escape the city rush. The food is great also!

My new favorite for trips upstate. Galina's cooking was out of this world! And we loved the barn-turned-bar-turned-blue grass music venue:) Such a wonderful place! We're planning another trip in October.
