Excellent front desk customer service at this location on 7/14/18 in the evening. Only thing we did not like is after a show we went to upon arriving back to the motel parking lot, a security showed up and turned his siren lights on with no noise as we were exiting our vehicle. He said nothing and as he saw my other 2 friends getting off he turned the sirens off and just left quietly. Seemed very suspicious to me. I don't know if he was even real security of the motel.

Staff were very kind and the price is not bad. The location is very nice due to the fact that behind the motel is meow wolf and near the motel a variety of restaurants. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend this motel, it’s been the best motel 6 I’ve stayed in.

Motel 6 exceeded my expectations. They provided a clean, comfortable room for a very reasonable price. They had last minute vacancy with very good location.

Thin walls, no bathtub, lots of people sitting in the parking lot openly drinking alcohol, just a really low end atmosphere. The staff was courteous and polite, the room was clean (though there was a noise/ smell coming from the air conditioner… it worked, and some lavender oil helped the smell to get us through the night) and I think the staff is absolutely working miracles with what they're given to deal with there. I'm certain they aren't making enough to put up with the people partying all night in their parking lots, etc.

Thank you. Unfortunately we had to stay in a smoking room, which we never want to do. Smoke permeated our clothes, but we were very glad to get a room on such a busy weekend and at the last minute. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The woman that was at the front desk was very nice and understanding and tried to find us a non-smoking room at the last minute without success. Thank you for trying. I think no hotel or motel room should have smoke in them. It is really awful. Also, prices are really inflated on holidays and/or weekends, I guess it is because they can get them in certain locations. It is not really a nice thing to do.

Very simple rooms. Fast service and accept cash only if needed. Great if looking for an emergency bed.

Okay, this review may be a little controversial, but here goes. Motel 6 is a very affordable alternative to many of the higher priced motel chains. Although the rooms are very basic and not always as appealing as a higher priced motel, the savings are substantial. Motel 6 is a magnet for travelers who seem to be from the lowest economic strata, so you may see some ragged or shady characters ambling through the parking lot late at night. The front desk is responsive if you have security concerns. The bathroom is supplied with tissue and two small bars of Motel 6 soap, but there is no shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer or facial tissue. Very simple cable TV service is included. Motel 6 is two steps above camping out but lets the budget conscious traveler save money for the important stuff. Try it!

This location is a short bus ride away to many of Santa Fe's activities, and near freeways for other Northern New Mexico attractions. It has many ground level rooms, if stairs are a problem for you. Shopping and restaurants are nearby. The office staff was helpful.

I can't remember the name of the woman who checked me in sadly, but I thought she was the nicest most helpful person I encountered on my road trip! She was very welcoming, kind, friendly in the best way, I can't say enough good things, hopefully you appreciate having her on your staff. I never used to give much consideration to which hotel I stay at, but after this experience I'll look to Motel 6 as my first choice, give her a raise!

Fantastic location for a road trip to Meow Wolf. Easy to find, friendly staff, satisfactory room. Exactly what three college students on spring break were looking for. It would have been nice to get breakfast, but there's a Denny's just across the street that we went to instead.

Front desk was very helpful, room was clean and accommodated expectedly for the price. But management refused to provide a refund for what are appearantly perpetually broken vending machines on property and I lost $4. Not happy.

Dolores runs the front desk like a professional. She not only took care of my needs checking in she also handled a extremely busy lobby. My room was updated and clean. Great value and stay for the area.

Well When I walked in on tuesday the woman in the front was amazing she immediately helped me with a warm welcome as it was cold that day! My experience with the front desk clerk was Great she made me feel comfortable and welcomed didnt give me a hard time like most places. I am pleased with the way she presented herself I am most likely to come back when I get paid. I will be choosing to stay here over my course of getting a new apartment so I definitely will be renting here till I find a place weekly. Althought it would also be very nice to be able to rent by the month because it may take me awhile to find a permanent place to live. I am just glad I chose this motel six and would recommend this place to other people. On the other note the man named Donny was the completely opposite he charged me for one night and only let me stay there till checkout the very same day I got there at 4 am in the morning and he told me that I could only stay till checkout the same day however he told me I was only supposed to get my 11 hours of room time but I only got 8 hours I think this was unfair and would like to see if I could have got my money backor something to make this right because I just had got back from Denver that morning and wasnt looking to check out at 12 the very same day.

It was old and kinda run down but everyone was very friendly making for an enjoyable stay. Very good rates.

I booked the wrong day due to the website resetting the day filters on refreshing the page. When I called the following day to see about solutions I was told it was fine and the date changed right then, but nothing was changed and I paid for a room I didn't use. When the actual stay came I then didn't actually have a room booked and told there was nothing that could be done.

Excellent stay! The receptionist was really nice and helpful. Our stay at motel 6 was way better than the courtyard marriott.

Hotel is decent for a night's stay. Bathrooms don't have locks though. Otherwise, the hotel is fine.

The front desk check-in process was fast and genuinely friendly. The rate was very affordable (especially compared to the Bay Area where I was traveling from) and the room was terrific and as expected. The shower was actually very cool and it was something I'd never seen before. Like some phone booth or spaceship doorway? There were some issues with neighboring guests and I had to ask them to chill out on the traffic and noise. I'd stay there again for sure.

I love the two ladies in the front office carol and Delores is my favorite so professional and polite… The maids and manger Melissa are so rude and I feel the discriminate against me I've spend over 2000$ staying here and now this last few weeks the maids Martha and Margarita are so rude I feel they are harrassing me saying they need to come clean my room ever other day when I work till 6 in the morning and they are pounding on my door at 10:30 I am very disappointed in this experience and fell very uncomfortable I know they have to clean stay overs every 3 to 2 days not every other day I have worked for this company and never in my life have I seen service like this and they come in and clean and don't even sweep or mop under the bed I can clean way better then them and I do… My room has never been a disaster or have I had complaints about anything I see other customers clean there own room and don't get room service for weeks and are yelling and screaming all night long and not told any thing so I feel very discriminated against.

Our stay of 4 nights involved a total of 3 rooms. First because of loud people upstairs, but the other 2 were because your door locks FAILED repeatedly and we couldn't get in our room. In fact, in the 5 days we were there we were only able to enter our room with the card key ONCE. Each time we had to go to the office, where they reprogrammed the cards (which still didn't work) and finally sent somebody with a hard key to open the door. The worst was after we'd gone out for dinner and I had to use the toilet. Couldn't get in. Office staff ignored my request to use their restroom and handed me reprogrammed card keys again. Finally I demanded to use their restroom and the security guy said they didn't have one. When I voiced doubt, a woman came out of the back and let me in to use the facilities. How inconvenient, degrading and insulting. I will never stoop to using motel 6 again. Also, my sheet had a burn hole in it!

Our room was exceptionally clean, and the two women working at the desk Dolores and Melissa were so friendly beyond expectations. Made us feel like family. It made it a very pleasant stay for us.

The booking agent & desk clerk were quite nice. We've stayed at this motel before which was adequate for what we expected. Not so this time. Five minutes after arrival, a lady came knocking on our door, "Looking for Carlos. " The bathroom stunk to high heaven of f It was clear there had recently been some sort of accident. We could hear our neighbors arguing and their entire conversations and what they watched on tv. I couldn't sleep at all. We were so uncomfortable, we left at 10:30 p. M. Worst motel stay we've EVER had!

Loved the room! It was super clean, comfortable and quiet. We had a little bit of difficulty with the bathroom sink drain plug not staying open but nothing we couldn't handle. Will definitely be staying there again.

Recently renovated rooms, with the fake wood floors, nice bathroom, etc. The cleaning crew could have done a better job, there was hair on the floor and in the bed, gritty surfaces (nightstand, etc) that weren't wiped or dusted off. And my bed had a cigarette burn hole and what looked like a boot footprint up by the headboard. Towels should be cleaned with more bleach. Other than these relatively small complaints, our stay was comfortable. The security man, Donnie, was very very nice and responded immediately to our security concern and made us feel safe.

I booked this room for my husband and children. When they got there, they said the place was dirty and the sheets and covers were stained. They ended up not even staying but made the long ride home rather than sleep there. I would appreciate it if you could refund our money. Thanks for your understanding. Kathy natale.

We made last-minute for a double bed room after being rained out of our campsite late at night. The woman who greeted us was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and taken good care of. The pool was a wonderful way to spend our day relaxing after stressing out about weather being awful. Housekeepers were kind, and we were grateful to have stayed in such a hospitable place last-minute. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

I have never had such a horrible experience at a hotel in my life. We travel to Santa Fe, NM a lot and have stayed here before but this time it was horrible. The room was crammed, I don't like the floors, and my entire family felt unsafe due to the fact that there were numerous people roaming the parking lot with liquor and smoking who knows what. My husband was approached walking to our car by a man asking for money. As I stated before we visit Santa Fe often at least 2 times a year some times more and this has been by far the worst experience I have ever had. We will NEVER stay at this property again. We would rather pay more money for a better property where we feel safe and enjoy our stay.

Clean hotel and nice pool. Price was right. Only complaint was the bathroom shower is absolutely not practical. Shower head faces wrong way and sprayed EVERYWHERE! I felt as if I was being drowned and because shower was so small, there was no way to avoid being blasted in the face. My husband had the same issues too so height doesn't make a difference. There was no shampoo or conditioner. So I nearly only got to lightly rinse off :/

Andrea at the front counter was awesome! Very well kept rooms! Very cheap and convenient for a short stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The room smelled like a dirty ash tray. The reservation was for a NON-SMOKING room. The bedding was stained and full of cigarette burns. The bedding and towels had pubic hair. The refrigerator and microwave were dirty. The walls had spider webs and dirt. In the end, I received a refund because the room was so bad.

The best thing about this room was that it was the last one available in town, yet it was still reasonably priced for someplace to sleep for the night. However, there are indeed shady looking people that hang around the place. The shower curtain was barely hanging on in the shower. The TV was older, small, and did not have a clear picture. You couldn't read the settings on the air conditioner because they were worn off, so setting it was a guessing game. The ladies working there were nice.

Joe, the night clerk, really went above and beyond to accommodate me. Quiet, centrally located, and everything I needed for the money paid.

Dirty, rundown, under-staffed. Comforters had cigarette burns in them. Lamps were without light bulbs. Wifi didn't work. Waited in line at front desk 2-3 times for different problems.

The room we had the door looked like someone tried to kick it in. We had to place a comforter from one of the bed to block the air from the kicked door, it also would not lock. People partied most of the night. I lost money in the vending machine and the staff could not give me my money back, they said I would have to call the number from vending machine to the company in order to get my CHANGE back. No clock radio, no amenities. No matter how tired you are, do not stay here!

I've never felt so unsafe in my life. When I pulled up to check-in, I noticed several people going through the trash cans. I didn't think too much about it. However, after I signed in, I was followed to my room by those same individuals and several more. When I was unloading my luggage, there was a group of 12 scary looking individuals that were walking back and forth in my room. They started trying to hand things to me through the door and acted like they were going to push their way in. I had to barricade myself into my room, and then I made the mistake of reading other people's experiences at your hotel. Why on earth would you not hire a security guard with other people also feeling like their safely was at issue. I did not expect luxury conditions for the amount I paid, however, I did expect for your hotel to care for the safety of it's guests. I am disgusted that your business that has such a lack of care for someone's safety. It is my mistake for not reading the feedback of others that have stayed at this hotel, however, it is absolutely your responsibility for not making changes after hearing that many of your guests have also experienced what I did. Aside from my safety, this hotel was also filthy. The floors were dirty, and the bathroom (especially the toilet) looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was no soap or shampoo provided. The sheets on my bed had stains that were dark purple, and appeared to be dried blood.

I had a wonderful stay here. For the price, I didn't anticipate that the hotel would be nice, buhe rooms are cute and clean. The hotel had been recently remodeled and has faux wood floors rather than carpets; the mattress was comfortable and the pillows plump. Best of all, the staff — — all of them — — are pleasant and helpful.

Wifi hardly works at all. Was told by desk clerk to take it up with tech support, but didn't give me any contact information for it. Called back, let it ring for very long time, whereupon the clerk just lifted the receiver and hung it up again. Called back, after over 100 rings, she just told me, tersely, she was too busy to deal with my problem by answering the phone. Finally gave me a number for "tech support" who took over 15-minutes to answer their phone. Problem was never solved Don't bother paying for Wifi — — just go to McDonald's down the street. Noisy, and it seemed to be a gathering place for street gang members. Door sticks, had to be kicked open after key card was inserted. Air conditioner/heater thermostat functioned poorly. All things considered, I probably could have done better sleeping in the parking lot.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. My problem was a noise in the middle of the night. I called the front desk and they intervened immediately.

I'll start by saying that for the money its really not that bad of a deal. And by the fact that nothing else in town was available it gets another bump. The room is actually quite nice and the decor is actually quite modern. The main problem this place had was in its tenants. I cut my night out short because I didn't feel safe leaving my room unguarded for any longer than I already had. I also was worried about coming back tipsy in that parking lot because there almost certainly would have been a problem. In the end coming back early just made me wonder if my car was going to get broken into or stolen for that much longer. I would avoid staying here unless you a) have nothing left to lose or b) wish to have nothing left to lose eventually. I feel confident that any lengthy stay here would end with losing. But hey for $45 what do you want?

Should be condemned by city. Carry a firearm for your safety. I stayed here for several months for economy's sake. I will begin with the (few) positives: As far as accommodations themselves, they are adequate for the money. The maids are helpful and Dolores at the front desk as well as Carol, are extremely helpful. So is Mary on the cleaning staff. Very helpful and kind, these three. These are the positives. We only stayed as long as we did because of these three helpful and kind employees. The one star in this rating is solely due to these three ladies. Where do I begin with the negatives? Firstly I hope you enjoy basket-pushing hobos camping in the stairwells, loud and drunk/drugged gang members congregating in the parking lot AND in rooms and I hope you enjoy your "free 2am wakeup call" in the form of either some prick pounding on your door (drunk/drugs/etc) OR the police pounding on the door next door! Or sometimes on YOUR door because they're idiots! 5 times I was rousted by the cops despite being a quiet and clean medical professional because they had the wrong room or something. The manager, who I will refer to as "M. G. ", allows this sort of crap to go on but the rest of the staff (Dolores, Carol) always promptly address my complaints and clear out the problems, but it's always "M. G. " the manager who lets them keep staying! This place is dangerous, scary and managed by a complete oblivious, rude idiot of a woman (M. G. In case you need a reminder)!

Absolutely disgusting! We were travling and needed a hotel to stay, unfortunately they were all booked except this one and now I know why… There were so many hobos hanging out at the hotel. Few guys were High as a kite dancing by the sidewalk. The second we walked into our non smoking room we got strong cigarette smell as if the previous people had all smoked 4 packs of cigratte in a one day! We killed 2 Ticks that were under the bed. I didn't even bother showering! And that not all … We were already in the car when I realized that I had left my charger in the room so I run back up stairs and the cleaning lady was dusting the bed sheets and making the bed. I asked her ummm did you change the bed sheets? She said yes and pointed to the cart THERE IS ONLY BATH TOWELS IN THERE LADY! She looked annoyed and started undoing the bed and taking off all the bedsheets. I got my charger and left. I know for a fact that she re-did those beds again DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!

Ok had to rate it to do a review! This place is horrible! No elevator if your elderly, we had our parents with us and luckily got them a handicap room on ground floor. We were on the 2nd floor, our room was non smoking however the smell of strong smoke hit as soon as we opened the door. Air was off and room was hot. Bathroom was in poor condition of being clean and there was black hair all over our floor my daughter noticed on her socks, YUCK! Due to late arrival from traveling all day we we're exhausted and chalked it up. I will NOT recommend this place. Was also some activity in parking lot that seemed odd. Sorry pay more and by all means asked to see your room before paying I would suggest.

Worst hotel experience of my life. I reserved a non-smoking room and received a room that had been seemingly inhabited by chain smokers for the past 20 years. The stench of smoke was so thick you could almost cut it with a knife. I was basically told "tough luck" and that reserving a particular type of room doesn't guarantee that you'll get it. Further, the hot water ran out in about 3 minutes, freezing me out of the shower before I was done. Everything about the room was filthy. It was also located right next to a busy road, so traffic noise was really loud. Spend a few more dollars and avoid this trash.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Me and my husband recently moved from Arizona to Vermont and stayed mostly at Motel 6's because their pet friendly, this was the absolute WORST! Burn holes from cigarettes in the bedding, the sink in the bathroom was broken, the bed was right up against the heater so we couldn't even turn it on, we got no towels in our room, and the room was dirty.

Good for a budget motel my room was clean everything worked the TV was old but worked the cable service not good at all. The internet service is extra cost don't buy not good stopped working office can't help because it's an outside vendor in my case I used to many wireless devices it won't allow you to use more then one. Not a bad place good location food and gas close. If your on a tight budget and your not going to live there this will work one night. OH! the bed was clean not bad for one night.

We recently stayed here for one night while on vacation and it was the WORST motel I have ever stayed in. Floors in rooms were filthy; covered with dirt and hair; various types of hair. Bathroom was dirty. Toilet leaked when flushed. Shower stall was WAY too small for an average sized adult. Towels were gross. Trashy people hanging out in the parking lot. One dude had on an ankle bracelet, like a parolee, and appeared to be visiting with an officer about something. You could hear everything that went on outside, too. Horrible experience. My kids were scared. We were glad to get out of there the next morning, early! Don't waste your money! Spend a little more and stay in comfort somewhere else.
