The staff was very friendly, the room was large, clean, and just perfect for what we needed! Pool was nice and the breakfast was real good! If we go back to Santa Fe, definitely will stay there!

Won't go back. It's decent at best. The place needs a serious overhaul… rooms don't look much like what was shown when booking. I personally don't think the microwave belongs on the sink. The plumbing is noisy and temperamental… shower goes from ice bath to thermonuclear on a whim. There are not enough outlets in the room to plug in a CPAP, charge a phone or tablet, and use the lights at the same time. The one open outlet was so badly worn that my laptop plug kept falling out. There isn't enough room for two people to walk past each other without one of them sitting on the bed, or going outside. $100 plus a night is top shelf for this town… but not this hotel. The indoor spa was nice but the hordes of screaming children killed that fun quickly. The "no pet" policy apparently didn't apply to the lady that checked in before us. Too bad, it was a nice central location. The little Mexican joint next door was quite good.

Friendly hosts, clean place. Great service, and it's far enough away from midtown I haven't seen seedy people hanging about, I feel safe here.

Its a awsome place to stay they have a indoor outdoor pool with hot tub. The breakfasts is good and they have a laundry facility. My only criticism is that the staff is sceptical of their guests and thretend to kik me out if I have any guests. Plus a 100 charge to my card on top of 87$ that will be givin back 7 days later after room has been inspected after checking out.

Caution! I originally gave this room an adequate review. The booking price thru Expedia was $38 plus tax. Per night. What I have discovered (days later). Upon checking my credit card balance is that they've charged my card full price of $65 a night AND this hotel has fraudulently charged me for three nights instead of the two nights that we stayed there. When I used the term fraudulent, I am not overreacting. I will be reporting these incorrect charges with my credit company. I had no luck when I spoke to the woman at the front desk, she blatantly lied to me about the prices and number of days we stayed. Watch out people…

Nice, clean room. Sink didn’t drain very well. Well kept pool/hot tub/green house. This hotel did have something I have never seen before and I doubt I will ever see again; a bottle opener by the shower. Whoever installed that bad boy is dedicated to the spirit of vacation and I applaud him/her for their bold insistence on rest and relaxation.

Nice low-key place. Nothing fancy. Perfect for us.

This place rents to nothing but heroin addicts so they can throw their heroin parties and so they can come and disturb the peace and Rob from cars on Luana St.

It's a nice place to stay and the people are friendly but the only thing I wish they would allow pets.

I love the rooms and their comfort level and I really enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Restful.

We came over form a very nasty days inn. The staff here was very empathetic to our ordeal at the other hotel. They were very nice to us. The room was nice and clean and smelled clean. Thank you so much for giving us a nice room that I was comfortable letting my babies sleep in. I would use this place again if I ever come back through here.

Stayed for three nights. Pleasant staff. Sub-par soap, shampoo etc. No security — we had a stranger knock at the door at 4 am looking for a "John" who he'd apparently never met. Paper thin walls — we could hear the conversation from the neighboring room. Heating system worked but was noisy and made the room very dry.

Don’t stay here. Better places nearby for only a few dollars more. No one tending the counter in the morning or answering the phone. Sign says they open at 8am. Still no one there at 930am. Breakfast room was locked. No food. No breakfast of any kind. And no one in the office to do anything about it. I guess that’s how they avoid answering questions and hearing complaints… or requests for refunds. At check in, I was told there were only a handful of people staying here. So I guess they decided not to bother honoring their “complimentary” continental breakfast. The area looks a bit sketchy. I asked if I should be concerned and was told nothing has happened here in the seven years she has worked here. The reviews show that a woman was mugged in the parking lot with her children watching and trying to help her. Room was freezing when I arrived. I turned on the wall heater, and it finally managed to heat the room after about 4 hours. I understand the effort to conserve by no heating vacant rooms. But I would think that the hotel would turn on the heat to warm the room before the customer arrives for a reservation.

The rooms were quite nice, and the service was excellent. The pool and hot tub were very nice and clean. The breakfast they offer was adequate.

$63.36/single (total, after tax) very clean, nice room, indoor pool & jacuzzi, & complimentary breakfast. Not a hint of horrible cigarette odor, smelled very nice, also one of the most comfortable mattresses of any place I've ever stayed. I enjoyed & would stay again!

Very solid hotel. Clean, fresh, decent. Easy to access. Very close to Meow Wolf. A very good deal. No frills but no problems. Free Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, good water pressure.

Very happy with our stay here. It is a quaint motel that you can tell they are working to keep things in working order despite being older and needing some improvements that it appears they are making as they can. The pool is covered with a roof that opens and is filled with tropical plants that are quite nice. Hot tub was wonderful after a long day of walking. The rooms are clean and quiet and the staff is friendly. Easy driving distance to the interesting spots in Santa Fe. There is a New Mexican restaurant next door that has wonderfully tasty food and excellent service.

Can I give it less than a star? This was the worst experience I have had in a hotel. The girl at the front desk was nice, but that's as good as it gets. People were outside until midnight or later, with children running back and forth, and when we were watching the television we discovered bugs all over the beds. Needless to say, I didn't sleep at all. Not worth any amount of money!

Older budget hotel, so do not expect that new hotel gleam. Room is small, and 4 people may feel in each other's way while dressing or getting ready fo bed. That cost a half star off in me review. The bathroom sink drained exceptionally slow, making tandem teeth brushing less than pleasant. That cost another half star. But, I would happily return. Facility and room was very clean; comfortable; A/C worked quietly and well. Free breakfast was a little skimpy without eggs. All in all, it gave me what I wanted: an economic, clean and comfortable place to rest and sleep.

The front desk staff at night was friendly and checked us in quickly and informed us about the breakfast in the am. The pool was great and the room was nice as well. Clean and orderly. The morning staff was equally as friendly and efficient. The Continental breakfast was great and had plenty of options.

Retro, small clean rooms. Price was reasonable, check-in clerk was nice checkout clerk not so nice old building but maintained.

Terrible experience. Rented a single room for a business trip months in advance and was harassed as soon as I walked into the office. I was told I was at the wrong hotel for over an over until *poof* my room suddenly appeared. I stayed for 4 days and on the last day a colleague came to visit before I left. The manager barged in smelling of alcohol and yelled at me saying that I had been throwing "parties" and that I would have to pay more than double the normal rate or else he'd call the police. I've visited Santa Fe countless times and stayed in plenty of beautiful hotels. This was easily the worst experience i've ever had staying in this beautiful town. I really recommend finding literally any other hotel or even shabby motel. Very sad.

The beds are just way too firm for a side sleeper. The blankets are also kind of itchy and the room I stayed in had a giant peeling mildew spot in the bathroom. I'm generally pretty forgiving of most things for a super budget hotel like this but if the bed kills my back then there isn't much point to having a place to sleep.

The room was really nice — cozy bed, wood ceilings. It's an older hotel, but very clean. It was quiet and I felt safe (single female traveling alone). The people working here are kind and helpful. The road construction made it a little tricky to get to, but not bad. The landscaping was nice, lots of beautiful plants everywhere. I really enjoyed my stay and would come again if I were in the Santa Fe area.

Clean and good hotel for the price. Would def stay again. It is a older hotel but it is maintained well. The freaking road construction is super annoying getting in and out.

This place is always clean, staff is helpful and friendly, year-round pool is a bonus if you have kids in tow. There is nothing fancy to be had here which is fine by me, but it is comfortable and decently located. We stay here most when going to Santa Fe.

This place was perfect, owner was really nice… Indoor pool was clean and well kept, rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was great, and the grounds were well maintained. We will definitely stay here again when we're looking to get away for the weekend. Only thing was the jacuzzi was in need of an update but not a big deal.

Major road construction limited access in and out of the motel. This motel is in need of renovation! Bathroom fixtures old and in disrepair. Not recommended!

Don't bother with this place. Owner is a foreigner and not a nice person. Support local native businesses. That's all I'm saying.

Was staying here with my family (Nov '15), on a road trip. I have definitely stayed at worst hotels, not that anything is particularly bad with the hotel, but noting to tell your friends about. We heard that some of the rooms were updated, but ours at the time of the stay was not updated. It might be worth the low price, but I will probably try another hotel in the town if going through town again.

WORST SERVICE EVER! I wouldnt even give them 1 star, however it requires it to write a review. We checked into the place, got to the room and weren't happy with it, so we immediately walked out and asked for a refund. Chris, the manager who was an absolute ass, refused to give us our money back even though no cancelation fee was stated on the paper we signed or the reservation we made. He then proceeding to LIE and say that the bathroom was used and the bed was turned down so it was considered used, when all we actually did was walk in and immediately walk out very unhappy. I would highly suggest never staying there.

Great motel. Recently refurbished, new carpet, room was clean and surprisingly nice for the rate. Pool, hot tub, breakfast. This is a secret gem. We will definitely stay here again.

The smell in the room was sort of a combo of barroom ashtray circa 1972, and what I assume a hooker’s ass would smell like after a long Saturday night. There might as well have been a chalk outline in the shape of a body in the parking lot of this place. When the air conditioning unit came on, we were blessed with a smell of cheap car wash cherry. As bad as the cherry was, it still didn't drown out the barroom ashtray/hooker’s ass smell that will never leave that room. The beds were made out of some kind of jailhouse mattress on concrete combination that could only be compared to camping, without the fresh air and scenery. When I walked back downstairs to get out of the reservation, I was confronted by a very cocky, almost belligerent desk clerk. He grabbed, and I do mean grabbed, the keys from my hand and started walking upstairs to the room. I had to yell to stop him, because I had left my young children in the room. I don’t think they would have been comfortable with this guy barging into the room to inspect it. Once I stopped him from inspecting the room, he asked if we had used the toilet. When I said yes, both of my children had just been in a car for 75 minutes, they needed to pee, he said he could not rent the room for the night, and consequently he could not refund my money. I left, got another room and called my credit card company. Do not stay here, unless you are looking to score some meth.

Pros: This motel is very clean. Older, but extremely well kept by the superb, helpful housekeeping staff. Seriously, there wasn't a fingerprint or speck of dust to be found. Full, free breakfast until 9:00. The pool/hot tub area is a beautiful greenhouse with amazing tropical plants. The water is warm and clean in the pool and hot tub. Free Wi-Fi Newer pillows, sheets, and televisions in the rooms. Helpful staff. Plenty of parking. $10 Uber ride to downtown. We could see the mountains from our balcony! Paid $60 a night on the weekend. Total steal. Cons: It's older (but clean, so who cares? ). Wi-Fi in our room was so freaking slow. No microwaves in room, but there is one in the lobby for customer use. Fridge in our room wasn't very cold and temperature couldn't be adjusted. Rooms are smaller if you get a single king bed. Hot tub had weak jets. Towels were kind of scratchy. Hard water (but what hotel doesn't have hard water? ) Would definitely stay again.
