I stayed here with my husband on our honeymoon trip and it was great. It was very close to the casino & midtown. My husband loved their whiskey barrel sauna. After we checked out I noticed that I left my expensive ear buds in the room. The hotel staff could not find them but the owners ended up replacing them for me, which was very kind to do. I appreciate it greatly!

This little hotel is precious! We had a fantastic time here over spring break — super comfy, exceptionally clean, warm, retro, and romantic — we even ended up staying an extra night. The host and housekeeping were friendly and professional, and they have a library! The parking and location are also great, along with complimentary fresh muffins and coffee in the morning. Highly recommend!

Close to a nice shopping area. Many restaurants to chose from. 10mins away from Winter Park and 15-20 mins from Ski Apache.

I can't remember the ladies name at check in but she was very nice. She seemed like she enjoyed her job and was happy.

This was our first time to stay here and we fell in love! The staff is so courteous and friendly! The rooms are so nice, clean, and cozy! I have stayed at numerous places in Ruidoso over the years and this by far was my favorite! Can’t recommend enough! We can’t wait to go back!

This place was amazing! From the moment u walk in to check in to the time u Check out. Heidi was an unique person. Very friendly. Went out of her way. Always happy to help & seemed to enjoy her job to the fullest. Wud stay again. Stayed by the main road. Didn’t have any problems sleeping.

This was the coolest lil place! It had a library, games… fresh muffins in the morning. When you walk in there's a nice huge container of water with lemons/oranges soaking in it. The lil touches. They have this soap that they sell, it's in the rooms as shampoo and soap. I slept like a baby. I'm coming back in three weeks to bring MY babies. Too much fun. I felt safe too.

We had a great time here! Exceptional staff, clean and comfortable rooms, reasonably priced, fresh-baked muffins and delicious local coffee for breakfast. There are so many fun things to do in the area and Ruidoso is a great town. We will be back!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the inn itself is the left combination of comfortable, cozy, and simplicity. It's not all high tech like most modern hotels but there's a small TV in the room and outlets by the bed so it's good enough. I would definitely return.

Cozy and cute Inn on the main road of Ruidoso just down the road from several stores and restaurants (most restaurants are overrated though). My wife and I prefer these types of cozy and family owned inns to the typical chain hotel. The service was exceptional — staff members were very friendly. Our room, their smallest, economy, room was good for our 4 day stay. The courtyard outside the rooms was a nice place to sit in the mornings and evenings. Only complaint was our bed was fairly uncomfortable and made loud noise and shook with the slightest movement. We will definitely stay here again though.

Just stayed a night over the weekend and we very much enjoyed our stay. Lovely retro theme, comfy beds, fireplaces available and yummy homemade muffins in the morning. My hubby and I would stay again!

The rooms was nice, the shower was awesome and there was even a noise machine by my bed. We greatly enjoyed our stay and loved the courtyard area. Coffee and muffins were delicious and the sauna was clean and worked great! I highly recommend this place!

The Sitzmark Chalet Inn is a cozy little place with personal attention. There are not a lot of rooms here so the staff gives personal attention to guests. The outdoor patio area is great when the weather is permitting. The rooms were clean and our suite had plenty of room for our kids to get all their wiggles out. Fireplace in our room was nice but we didn't use it since we stayed here in June. The location is great too. Everything is just a few minutes away and several things are within walking distance. There's not much of a breakfast here, except the homemade muffins, which were very tasty.

Tana is the most amazing host! Her cookies and muffins are out of this world! She even let me borrow silverware to eat my dinner when I didn't have it. Helped me carry my luggage. Very Gracious. Her son is a doll! He took me to my room and high fived me when leaving (I think he is 5). Such a wonderful place. I will be back because of how well this family treated me. I felt like a queen in their castle.

Great visit in Ruidoso this week. Stayed at The Sitzmark Chalet Inn. It's a quaint little inn and the room was very clean. There were fresh muffins and hot coffee each morning and the staff was wonderful! We will be back!

These guys are so great! The first night they came out to the courtyard to chat with the guests and give us recommendations for food and drinks. It felt like old friends catching up. We had made a mistake in our reservation and forgot to book the last night. It was completely our fault but they handled it with lots of grace and compassion. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend this oasis highly enough. The rooms are quaint, the courtyard is perfect, the sauna is relaxing, and the people are fantastic. Will definitely be staying here every time we make our way to Ruidoso.

First time to Ruidoso. Husband and I enjoyed a weekend getaway. Loved staying at the Sitzmark! Clean, cozy, very quiet and convenient to shopping and restaurants. Reminds me of my grandparents place, not fancy, but very welcoming. They even serve warm homemade muffins and hot coffee every morning! We will be back for sure!

We have stayed here for the past 3 years each time we come to Ruiodoso. It is a peaceful, quaint mountain hotel. The owners are nothing but friendly and try to get to know you as a guest. The staff are extremely welcoming and hospitable and will give you local suggestions and eats.

This is a nice hotel. The price is right and it is close to pretty much everything Ruidoso has to offer. We did not make breakfast (not contenetal, fresh baked muffins/coffee+ tea) because of an early morning run. The surrounding are lovely and well decorated.

No complaints whatsoever. The rooms are great. Very clean and the man at the desk, Todd, is extremely friendly. My fiancee and I checked out and decided to stay another night, so we came back and booked another night. Todd was nice enough to give us the same room we previously booked at such short notice. This is definitely going to be our hotel every time we visit Ruidoso.

This place is so cute! Glad me and my husband decided to stay here vs any others. Really decent on the price and you get a really nice, clean and comfy place to sleep! Did I mention how clean this place is? You'll love this rustic down home hotel! Definitely recommend to stay here. (:

The room was lovely and had all the accommodations that made our visit special! From the fireplace to the love seat and recliner the room was extremely comfortable and made us feel like we were at home.
This will be our go too place when we return to Ruidoso!

We enjoyed our weekend stay very much. The room was very clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Customer service was very good. Has Wi-Fi, close to shopping, inexpensive, and will gladly stay next time we come. Our stay was on 10/18/ 2015.

Great place with very friendly staff and a steam room in the courtyard. My ONLY complaint with the place was that the showers were meant for someone under 6 foot, my girlfriend is 4'11" and loved that she could reach and adjust the shower head but I had to bend over a little. The price was lower than most other places we looked, the staff was nicer, the property was very unique even in a city full of lodging, and it was 5 minutes from all kinds of food/bars/shopping. We won't bother calling around next time we're in town, we've found our place.

Nice, inexpensive, clean, location was perfect. Great for family or romatic get away. Customer service was friendly. We stayed Dec. 2013, spontaneous trip from Texas. We will diffently return and reconmend to friends/ family.

Very cute hotel with perfect service to match. The atmosphere of this hotel is a quaint ski lodge and it is perfect for a romantic getaway. They are tucked in at the base of a mountain and the view from the hotel is wonderful. The owner/operators are wonderful hosts. We couldn't have asked for better service during our stay. The facilities have all of the amenities that you could ask for including free Wi-Fi. My only complaint is that the bed had to be the hardest one I have ever slept on. I travel a lot for both work and leisure and have to say this is the worst night's sleep I have ever had. I am an easy going person so I still rate my experience here as a positive. It just means I will have to drink a few more cups of coffee during the day due to my lack of sleep. Our stay was for one night.

Came for the day from EP for my birthday. Skiing, food, dancing, time to sleep. Found this small motel, price is right, service was great, friendly staff, hot tub. You just cant beat it for the price.

Spent 2 nights at the Sitzmark in mid-June. Very happy with the location, price and atmosphere. It's in a quiet, wooded area with humming birds all around. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly return there on our trips to Ruidoso.
