This will be a long review, so the long gist is this: if you are going to book with Apache Village, book from the direct website and not AirBnB. Okay, so, overall we enjoyed our stay at Apache Village. The cabin was very clean, cozy (mighty small, but nice), and in a good location. The water pressure was so-so, the t. V. Screen had a little black spot on it no matter what you watched, and my husband said the wi-if was no good, but we didn’t need it with our phones anyway. None of these are deal breakers, though. However, I know there is a non-refundable pet fee of $75 per pet, which is absolutely fair, but I did not find out about this extra fee until AFTER I had booked, signed my contract, and it was the week before vacation! Annoying, but I digress. *This is something I noticed is on the actual website, which is why I suggest booking directly from there. Next, at the same time (less than a week before vacation) I was told that the cabin I originally booked was going to be unavailable because of a “maintenance issue” that would not be resolved before our arrival. Y’all. They double-booked and lied about it. Again, probably a mis-communication between the people running AirBnB and the actual office, but why lie about it? The cabins are, like, 6 feet apart — there was clearly a family there when we arrived.
