This is a nice, comfortable easy place to stay. The people are friendly, the breakfast is basic but good. I saw kids a plenty enjoying the pool and the pups were well behaved. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would choose to stay here again if I'm in town.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay. Neatly decorated and clean rooms. Breakfast was really great for hot foods were served and a variety of food. Overall, my favorite part about my stay was my fur baby was able to stay in motel with us. I never knew La Quinta Inn's were pet friendly until I read the reviews before I reserved a room. I stayed at a La Quinta Inn in Albuquerque the next night and although the room was a little bit cheaper, the motel in Roswell was by far nicer quality.

The staff and workers were very helpful. The rooms were nice and clean. I recommend this place and will be back again.

Rooms were nice. Air conditioning wasnt great. But it seems the "nicer " hotels do not invest in air conditioning. They did have a really nice breakfast set up with eggs, sausage & all the other normal stuff. I gave a 4 because pool closed before 9 & air conditioning wasn't great.

Perfect for the price and very nice and elegant. Will definitely stay again if I'm ever in Roswell again.

Nice room. We had a suite that was perfect for us. The sitting room was equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave as well as couch, chair, desk and TV. The bedroom was spacious. The king-size bed was comfortable. I thought the closet behind the mirror was very clever! The bathroom was a little on the small side, but worked. Just very basic toiletries, but I prefer that. I think the lotions, shower caps, and sewing kit are a waste. The hair dryer was a lacking. If I had long hair, I would have been very disappointed. The breakfast buffet was nice. Much better than your standard continental hotel fare. Eggs, sausage, oatmeal, breads, and make-your-own waffles. The sundry shop sold some snacks and a few travel items. We didn't visit the pool or workout room. All in all, a comfy hotel at a reasonable price. I would stay there again.

Marriott rewards member. Booked La Quinta based on reviews and a need to pinch pennies during a short family vacation to Carlsbad Caverns. DELIGHTED with the staff, the cleanliness of the room, the quality of the mattress and the comfortable pillows. This stay convinced me that there are other hotel chains besides Marriott that are delivering a comfortable, restful, quality experience for the price.

Overall it wasn't too bad the size of the room for the price we paid was moderate at best but for the same token the same room and Carlsbad probably would have been a lot more they have a pool and a hot tub on site very clean very friendly staff it's about one block off of the main road so not too hard to find easy access off the road plentiful parking plenty of amenities and within reasonable driving distance from shopping the alien museums and restaurants.

Nice and relaxing stay. Wonderful breakfast staff. The pool was a strange yellow (as was the hot tub) Poolman was working on chemicals and such.

Booked a room with king bed and a roll a way bed for our son because the two queen suites were all booked, got to the hotel and they said they don't have roll away beds when it is clearly on there booking site and they didn't offer any other solution besides an extra pillow for him to sleep on the floor.

Pool and hot tub was green. Breakfast was so so. The beds were very comfortable and very friendly staff!

Room was ok. Pool & hot tub were gross. Breakfast was mostly microwaved and tossed out there directly from the microwave.

As usual. Best place to stay in Roswell. Very good price and excellent rooms.

Room was good and the building was well kept. My only concern was the clerk. When I entered he was concentrating on his laptop. He did stop long enough to take care of me. And he was courteous… but he was back to the laptop before I was gone. Maybe count to 10… just to be sure I don't need anything else?

This la quinta is quite disappointing. Although it looks that it's been remodeled there are many flaws. When we got our room it was hot and took forever to cool down, the pool had gross staining on the bottom, the hot tub that we were looking forward to wasn't working, and the front desk guy, who you almost didn't think was there playing on his phone behind the desk, said that there wasn't any pool towels and that was that, which sucked because using the limited bathroom towels for the pool is ridiculous. If I come back to roswell I won't be staying here.

Clean and modern hotel with a nice location right off of Main Street. My only complaint about the place was the lack of truly hot water (I was unable to get any stream from the shower). Regardless, there is no reason that I wouldn't stay there again.

Manuel at the front desk was rude. My mom and I were staying for an art show, and she has the Elite status with La Quinta. He refused to give her an extra bottle of water and told her he didn't have to give her one because she was not Elite. He still argued with her after she showed him. The door was damaged to the bathroom so the lock was loose and you had to be careful not to pull the whole door knob out. The room was small, and the beds near the pool are much less comfortable than other rooms we've stayed at here so maybe older? Also had to walk by the front desk several times and Manuel was playing on his phone ignoring guests and he had a whole bunch of friends hanging out with him in the lobby. Very unprofessional, and some of his friends were very intimidating looking with lots of tattoos, so I watched one other guest walk all the way around the hotel to avoid the front lobby at night.

For a room with two queen beds the room was quite small. The bathroom door wouldn't fully close and the sink was right next to the door so if you were doing anything at the sink the door would hit you. Breakfast was sparce on options but wasn't expecting much.

Very nice, contemporary decor. Great beds and complimentary hot breakfast. Pet friendly.

It was a very nice hotel. The Pool and Hot Tub were small, but it wasn't crowded. When I booked it, I hadn't realized it was a pet friendly hotel. I was surprised when the neighbors dog would not stop barking. I went and asked the attendant for a diffrent room and she said she would take care of it and she did. It was a nice stay.

At first glance the rings are nice but you will come to realize this is afacade. My room lacked receptacles near the bed. The shower curtain rod was bent such that the curtain would slide open while showering with the end result being water all over the floor. During the day the air conditioning was not able to keep the room cool. The breakfast was lacking and when I asked about butter for my toast I was directed to margarine, which is not butter.

High priced for what you get. During our second night stay, my grandson found dog food on the floor of our room and put it in his mouth. We weren't offered any compensation or even an apology. We'd seen a lot of dogs there our first night, so the chances a dog had been in our room previously are high, but being a hotel that welcomes dogs, you'd think they'd train their housekeeping to clean areas more thoroughly, especially when they leave cards in your room with the maid's name on it, claiming they'd cleaned it top to bottom. For the price, you'd expect more than a bar of soap and a single tiny bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. When we'd asked about body wash, they'd offered to sell us some overpriced products. At least Walgreens was a block away. Walgreens came in handy twice for this stay. The body wash was one reason, but the other was the prepaid Visa card we had to purchase just to get the room. Every hotel we've ever stayed at, we'd been able to put my bank card on file for "incidentals" (I've never been charged for those), and were able to pay cash for our stay upon check-in. This hotel does not allow cash payments. For those, like me, who don't like keeping more than bill money in the bank, keep this in mind if you decide to stay here. On the positive side, the pool is heated but still cooled us off with outdoor temps over 100°.

Clean hotel from my experience. Bed was comfy, the room was spacious and well laid out. Breakfast was good and the seating area was fine. The staff at the front desk were chatting, but surprisingly not complaining about guests or coworkers or whining about this or that, which I usually overhear hotel staff chatting about. Only issue we experienced was some… thin walls? Lets just say there was a good time happening next door that we could hear every detail of… Other than that, definitely a good place to stay for the night.

Good for the price, though I have a couple of gripes. Sunday night when we got in, the hotel seemed to just have the front desk guy working. We asked for more blankets and pillows and he asked that we come to the desk to get them. Odd. Then after we were just getting to sleep someone else with a valid card tried to enter our room! Luckily, we had it latched and it was an innocent mistake by the front desk. We had to get keys reprogrammed and after several apologies from the fellow at the front desk, we were back to sleep. Disturbing, but we were okay. Breakfast was okay. Waffles saved the day as usual. Eggs were ok, but sausage was rubbery. Guy servicing breakfast only seemed to put stuff out when I asked. Pool seemed to be opaque (dirty? ), and smelled heavily of chlorine, which if it is dirty that is how I would want it. We moved next door to town suites for the next night.

Just ok. Next time we'll stay at somewhere nicer. Room was warm. A/C didn't work well. Breakfast was a waste of time.

Hotel is well located and the lobby looks nice. The rooms are ok, but air conditioner could not keep the room cool. The toilet paper was 1-ply. Technically it had 2 plies, but each was as thick as 1/2 of a normal ply. Breakfast was bad… Eggs and sausage were scary, had to ask for plates and spoons, and fruit was old. Would give it 4 or 5 stars if it was in the 70 — 80 price range, but if you are charging 130, you have to earn it. Next time I'll drop the extra 10 and go to the holiday Inn.

The hotel was very well kept, clean and employees where nice when approached. Location was perfect for us.

Of all the la quintas we have stayed, this one we liked the most! Newer/updated fixtures in the bathroom and I liked having the vanity seperate from the bathroom. No problems at all. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Not far from the ufo museum or restaurant. Perfect for our overnight stay.

LQ Roswell is one of my favorite LQ locations, rooms are always squeaky clean, staff is very friendly, and the breakfast fare is simple, tasty & plentiful. The hotel is in a great location just off of Roswell's Main Street, very close to several restaurants and just beside a 24 hr Walgreens. LOVE this LQ!

The room (209) smelled musty/mildewy. The pool was not working and breakfast was awful (no food left at 730am and 8 am). Also the parking lot was frozen and no one was concerned with salting it.

The rooms at LA quinta are nice and the sales staff was very friendly. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly. They stopped by and asked if I needed anything. My room felt a bit small with how the bathroom was kind of cornered into the wall but other then that it was a very comfortable stay.

Room was clean. Hotel is Pet friendly, Indoor pool and spa + work out room. My complaints are that the Air Conditioner was useless, air would barely come out and water did Not drain out of the bath tub at all. I checked the filter on the ac and it had an inch layer of dust. Very disappointed considering LA Quinta has always been a nice place to stay.

I travel for work, and this is the best La Quinta I've stayed at yet. I don't know upon what the complaints of cigarette smoke or mold are based. Perhaps the remodel that LQ Roswell is currently undergoing is taking care of those problems. I've come back here to work every week these past three weeks, and have been in a different room each time. Each has been clean and fresh. The breakfast is spectacular, by LQ standards. In addition to the staples, there is even fresh fruit, cheese omelettes, and sausage! The walls are indeed a bit thin, but the neighbours' tv's are not so audible as to be bothersome. The staff are excellent. My slowly draining sink and broken toilet handle was promptly fixed as soon as I alerted the receptionist to the problems. I have no complaints whatsoever.

I didnt enjoy our stay. I wouldn't recommend this place. Room was dirty nasty and there was stains all over the bed. Walls paper thin you can hear everthing. Was very disappointed.

We stay at LQ frequently. This one is one of the best with friendly service — — an outstanding stay. The room was spotless, fresh, and quite.

First off, the employees were very nice. That was the extent of the niceness of this hotel. Upon first entering the lobby, I was hit by a wall of stale cigarette smoke — not a good first impression. The actual room smelled of mold/mildew. As my husband and I continued to stay there, we developed a cough, shortness of breath, and extreme sinus pressure/burning. Needless to say, our stay at La Quinta lasted about 2 hours and we left. Unless you enjoy the above mentioned, do not stay at this hote.

Loved It! This hotel is pet friendly and the staff is welcoming. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms seem larger than average. The Walgreens is in walking distance and is perfect for last minute items, especially when traveling with children. From here, you can easily access the town's main attractions like the museum and the little shops with alien souvenirs. Everything is pretty close together, so if you are up for it, you can easily walk.

The rooms (and hotel in general) were attractive and well kept. There was a laundry on the third floor that allowed us to get some laundry done. This LQ is kind of an example of what I've come to expect from La Quinta. There are plenty of restaurants a shot drive away, and a book store and a Walgreen's right at the end of 19th Street and Rt 70. Very handy. The breakfast was good, the beds were large and comfortable. The room was clean. It was perfect for our intended purpose: Sleep, eat, hit the road. BTW, one thing we discovered is if you go to Roswell for all the UFO stuff, if you're going to get souvenirs, get them at the International UFO museum (to which I am NOT affiliated. ) They are much cheaper for the same "crap. " Just as an example, a snowglobe there cost $10. Two other places we checked had the exact same thing for $15 and $20 respectively.
