Nice modern hotel, great staff.

It's a new, clean, quiet hotel a short way from town. It has a heated outside pool along with a great hot tub. They have a really nice fire ring to set around right next to a covered picnic area with tables/chairs and even a deluxe gas grill. All the and the place is reasonably priced.

Awesome staff. A little costly but worth the money. Friendly and personable staff. Excellent continental breakfast, guest laundry, pool, bbq area… REALLY NICE.

Great place to rest your head. Very well maintained and kept. Only drawback is locals stop off and have parties at the pool and cooking and gazebo area; which is reserved for guests.

Horrible stay rented a suite checked into room 407 was checked in by office staff and given my door cards/keys had to call down stairs later that evening the last at the front desk told me they didn't have anyone in that room the HVAC system didn't work got down graded to an ADA room for same cost poor water pressure contninental breakfast no bacon Very poor stay.

Was in town for a funeral and these people took care of us and our family, went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, especially the manager Terry.

Our single queen room seemed on the smaller side but because of the tall 9 foot ceilings it made it feel more spacious. Bed was comfortable (not quite as soft as La Quinta but I slept good) and had nice bedding. Everything is new and beautifully decorated. Very nice pool and hot tub (about 102)! They have a beautiful huge outdoor gas fire pit entertainment area that makes you feel like your at a five star hotel. When they say breakfast they mean it! They have all the typical food you would find for a continental breakfast but this place hits a home run with country potatoes, eggs, bacon (if your in to that, not me), biscuits and gravy. For the price of $74 on a Thursday night this was by far the best place we stayed. Oh and I was able to exercise using their treadmill and elliptical trainer. Seems like they have everything you need including great service! You should not be disappointed staying here!

Very small rooms and bathroom, and the location of the hotel is strangely in the middle of nowhere, but it's clean, well-kept and updated with the latest fashions and accompaniments with a nice, soft bed and big pillows. Overall it's nice and would stay here again if I needed a good night's sleep.

The staff was very helpful, and was able to accommodate all my needs, so I had a very peaceful nights rest and wasn't disturbed the next morning by housekeeping. The rooms were just a bit small, but were very clean, and the bed was comfortable, I would really give it 4.5 stars, but I think they need to upgrade the towels to a softer and bigger size, other than that if I'm back in the area I will stay here again!

They are working on a transition to a new brand, but this is still a good place. Great customer service.

Would have gave 5 stars but was not informed of the $25 pet fee until 3 hours into my stay! They slid a note under my door to inform me of the pet fee. I informed the lady at check in twice that I had a pet and once when I called ahead to check for availability. I was not trying to hide my dog or sneak him in, brought him in through the front door and straight into the elevator. The front desk clerk even seen him! I stayed the nite of 09-4-17. Do yourself a favor if you have pets and go find a laquinta inn.

This hotel is very clean. They have a helpful and friendly staff. And the hotel is close enough to everything in farmington but you get out of the busy city. I would happily recommend this place to my family.

We arrived very late for our check in due to unexpected travel troubles. The lady at the front desk was great to us though. She was very nice and offered us a later check out time free of charge. We slept very comfortably in the nice clean room and enjoyed showers before heading out the next morning. It was a brief stay but it was very comfortable and the staff was great. We were even charged $10 less than expected. We would stay again.

We had reservations and we did not get in untill 5 am the next morning. Our room was still available and the pushed back check-out time so we could get some sleep. Very nice and clean hotel and well priced!

I loved this hotel. The room was small but perfectly laid out. And they have window seats!

Our family of four and our dog stayed there for almost a month while our home was being worked on due to a small fire. The ENTIRE staff was very helpful in our time of distress. They made our stay incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was always great, they even made complimentary cookies and soup every evening. And housekeeping always made sure we had everything we needed. The actual hotel itself has great amenities. An exercise room, outdoor pool, jacuzzi, fire pit, patio, gas grill, an a small area for dog business. There's a nice sidewalk trail that weaves through the grounds an around the building. We made good use of all of it. Really quiet during the week, we practically had the place to ourselves, and full on the weekend. Met people from around the country and the around the world. All in all it was a great stay I highly recommend staying there.

A very pleasant stay overall. Room was perfectly comfortable, although US550 gets a bit noisy in the morning. I'd suggest requesting a room on the back side of the building when you make your reservation. Also, be aware that the hotel will try to charge you $3 per person for breakfast whether you eat there or not.

Great place to stay. The staff is very accommodating. I needed a hotel that allowed small pets that wasn't a dive. This place not only allowed my dog but is very clean, well kept and has an area for your dog to do it's business. They also have a hot tub, pool and free breakfast in the morning. I'd definitely stay here again.

What a great place to stay. We stay at Microtel for 4 days during our time in Aztec for my Step-mothers passing and memorial service. Our family had 7 rooms at Microtel. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. You accommodated our family without a blink. Great breakfast choices and plenty of room for our family. Thank you again for all your help!

I like it more than the Marriott in Farmington. It's super clean, the beds are super soft, the staff are great, and the breakfast is hot. There is someone there in the morning making sure everything is clean and stocked. I prefer this hotel when I come to Farmington.

Extremely clean, beds outstanding, staff has can do attitude. Asked for extra pillows they didn't even hesitate to give them to us! Our choice is microtel from now on! And this one in Aztec will always be our mainstay.

I booked my room on the Microtel website in May for an October reservation. When I checked in I got a ground floor room next to the stairs and an outside door. Completely opposite of what I asked for. If you plan on sleeping past 5:30 or 6 am this isn't your room. Slamming door noise makes sure you're an early riser. This room is tiny, smells funky and that has to be a full bed not queen. When I asked for a higher room the desk clerk said they didn't have any left. My carpool road trip companions then immediately got a 4th floor room. Seconds after I was told no they didn't have any. They booked their reservation in late August. WTF! Pool is nice, hot tub and fire pit is nice. On site BBQ is swell. Room was ick at least my tub drain worked. People are swell. The system by which they allocate rooms is broken. Not happy with that.

I really enjoyed my stay. The room was amazing, The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was good. The only thing is they had no blow dryer. I always take mine, but I left it for my daughter because there's always one in the room. Not this time. So I wasnt able to do my hair. I wish this hotel had been here when we raced right across the street.

Had a wonderful stay here. Staff was friendly, pool and spa were great after being on the road all day. The fire pit was fun too. The beds and pillows we very comfy, it's hard to get up and leave!

Doors are little noizy, lots of sound and slamming door noise.

For a brand new hotel it seems a little dated. Maybe it is just their attempt to stay with The surrounding atmosphere. This does not mean it is a bad hotel. The staff is great, the room is clean and has everything you need. Overall is it a good hotel that I would stay in again.

Staff was very nice and helpful, rooms were clean, and breakfast had a nice variety. Be sure to wake up earlier for breakfast as we woke up late one morning and the food was stale and smelled funny. Beds were a little too hard for my liking and the towels were old.

Even though we got charged for a day that we were not here for because of a road closure in Wolf Creek, we feel that our room was neat and clean, it was small hens fourth (Microtel).! The breakfast was acceptable and warm. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They could of worked with us a little on the day that we got charged with but other then that, we would recommend this place to our friends, and family. The prices were reasonable, and its pet friendly. Thank you Microtel staff for a pleasant stay. Art B, And Paulina.

HORRIBLE! The staff is rude and they say their "pet friendly" but really are not. The MANGER came in and yell at me by the way I'm 15 years old. And she tell because my dogs barked when some one slammed a door shut! This hotel is the worst staff is not friendly at all!

The staff is very polite and helpful in any way possible the rooms are very clean and breakfast was very good thanks so much for making my son's birthday special!

Hotel was nice, but surroundings are very inhospitable. Industrial area next to an oil field yard and a Pepsi distribution center overlooking hotel. Decor was torn between classic car enthusiast, antique collector, western rustic, and contemporary. In the middle of the night (2:30 AM) the fire alarm sounded and scared our children so badly that we could not sleep the remainder of the night. I asked for some sort of compensation for this and was told "we are not doing anything". No luggage carts, however front desk person was kind enough to let us use a laundry basket with wheels. Nice facility, poor management.

We stayed two nights. Loved the location. Loved the staff. Loved the rate. Room was great. Will recommend to anyone that needs a room in Aztec.

Great hotel just outside of Aztec, NM. We needed a room for the night and this place was excellent! It is newer so the rooms were very clean. The beds were comfortable and they offered great amenities such as a cute little window seat in the room, microwave and fridge in the rooms! Continental breakfast was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly!
