This is the place for you if you are on a super tight budget. No frills but very clean. Pleasant staff. Location is within walking distance of my favorite winery — Gruet. Easy to find and just off the freeway.

Place was great in terms of cleanliness and location. Room was pretty clean if small and the pricing made it a great place to stop for the night on our way back to NYC. The reason I’m taking 2 stars off is cause at 3 in the morning a huge crash woke me up. Thought I imagined it, then the sound resumed. It seems that for some reason the pipes in my bathroom thought this was the perfect time to start banging and continued to do so for a half hour. Don’t know if it was from someone next door using their bathroom or what but it was annoying when I had to be up early that morning to continue my drive.

One of the nicer motel 6's. Hardwoods, updated. Comfy beds. Rooms are tight. However they do allow pets. My only complaint is that our room was still nit ready at 6pm after we had been driving all day from AZ.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. I understand it's a motel 6 but come on. There are no words for this experience. Do not stay here. I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE! If this motel is your only option, sleep in your car. You'll rest better. I will never go to another motel 6 ever again nor will I recommend one.

Definitely my first and last time here. Walls are like paper thin. You can literally hear people walking and talking in the hallway. The guest next door was probably on drug, he was hollering outside his window like he was calling out to someone, talking to himself and I can hear every word he shouts in Spanish. It'd gotten so bad the cops had to handle this guest and he was kick out of the motel that night. We checked in close to 9 PM and didnt get to sleep until past midnight due to all these commotions. If we weren't so tired, we would of not slept there. Then in the morning, we were awaken by the guests above us walking but because the walls are so thin, it sounded like they were stomping as they take steps, then dropping things, and FINALLY, quiet for 30 minutes until our alarm goes off. Most terrible stay. But then again, I gave them 1 star because their linens smells fresh, that's all.

Not a bad motel if you don’t plan on being in it much other than to sleep. Everyone at the front desk was nice. Walls are paper thin and my friend and I could hear children and other people loudly moving around during the morning. The area it’s in is also not the best — pretty far from the center of the city. Overall not a bad experience, but I think the next time I’m in town I’ll try to stay at a location that’s not so far off the beaten path.

The amenities are minimalist, but the bed is comfortable. For far less dollars than most places, you get a bed, a washroom and a tv. They also take in pets, which for many is an issue. This 6 is freshly renovated. No fridge or coffee maker in the room, no onsite restaurant. It has easy access to the I-25. Simple, and inexpensive.

Walked in to the lobby was greeted with great respect. Erica checked us in with no problem. We get to our room looks fabulous very clean smelled very nice. Bathroom was very spacious cleaned linen. Great location & atmosphere all around easy access to the freeway. I will definitely be staying again the staff here were very friendly and helpful to our needs good job motel6

I was extremely disappointed as I have stayed at other motel 6's and have never had these issues. As I walked in the door to the lobby it smelled like marijuana. I had my 2 kids with me and I nearly went somewhere else. I figured all the rooms couldn't smell like that. Checking in was fine, we get to our room and get settled in. No remote, no alarm clock. I turn on the bathroom light and it kept flickering and wouldn't completely light. It was almost midnight now and my kids were asleep. When the light finally came on, I was disgusted at how filthy the floor was. It didn't look like the bathroom had been swept. As we headed to check out, the whole entry way smelled like marijuana again, and there was nobody at the front desk. I will not be staying here again.

The bed was comfy. But there was no mini fridge. Would be nice for left overs. Also. The walls are paper thin so I could hear kids playing in the halls at like 10 pm and every time someome entered or left their room. Because the door would slam. I packed everything except shampoo and they had some in the vending machine, however, it wasn't working. I still enjoyed my night alone.

Very nice and very clean room, but I'm guessing that it was not a non-smoking room, as it had a residual smoke odor. Room 111 was a very convenient location for someone traveling with a pet. Very accommodating staff.

When we arrived they didn't have any rooms ready but the lady at the front desk was accommodating and quickly found us rooms together for our stay for the night. We did a quick inspection of the room and noticed the sheets were dirty still so we had to get those replaced, again the woman at the front desk was very nice and quickly got things together for us. I would stay again for a quick rest stop when traveling through Albuquerque.

I pre-registered online reserving the room. Highly recommend if you plan on staying at a motel 6. I was in and out of signing up for a room when I physically go there. They had all of my information ahead of time when I reserves the room on-line. I just confirmed it was me and boom. Signed a paper got my two card keys and was done in like >5min. Great clean rooms as well!

I regret leaving a poor review but the cons outweighed the pros here. Be aware that if you get a room on the first floor you may have to deal with excessive noise from neighbors and people in the hallway. Last night we were actually a bit scared because several people were in the hallway being very loud and obnoxious. We were hoping staff would come ask them to quiet down but it went on for a while. I started to call the front desk but didn't want to start trouble and maybe put someone in harm's way so we just let it go. Next, although we realize this is an economy motel/hotel, but for three people we had 2 towels, one washcloth, and 2 tiny bars of soap… nothing else… no Kleenex, shampoo, etc. I've stayed in places with this price point and have always at least had Kleenex and shampoo packets. Then we realized we had to go back to the desk to pay $5 for Wi-Fi… Last but not least the online price I booked went up @ $10 when I actually got to the room… and that was not because of taxes. We were tired and I wasn't going to argue over ten dollars. We have stayed in many Motel 6 places over the years but this visit was disappointing.

Great Motel 6! The lady, Ashley, that checked us in was great and informative. We ask her why the variance in Motel 6's accommodations? She pointed out the difference in the 6 shape. Great beds, clean, updated room and shower with a tub! Only critique was only one hand towel and wash cloth.

We stayed the night just recently. We found little ants crawling in our bed. I looked around and there were ants on the ground. Also there were stains on the sheets. We asked for another room, went up to the new room and the door was already open with a broken lock. So we asked for another room and the lady at the front desk was so rude and disrespectful. Worst place ever. Avoid if you can. If I could've given it zero stars I would have. Crappy, smelly, filthy dirty motel.

Newly remodeled rooms that will surprise and delight you! You wont believe your in a motel 6 and just paid 35.00 for your room. This location is the best in abq. Wood floors… Green reed wall paper… No this is not your typical budget location… You will enjoy! Hands down! Very pet friendly. Close casino gaming. Laundromat! Very friendly staff… But Rrive early if you can… This location sells out! Even during the week! That says it all!

I chose this motel because it was near where we were visiting. I don’t usually pay for Wi-Fi because most motels offer it at no cost. Also, since they also did not have complementary breakfast I would pay a little more to get both breakfast and Wi-Fi at another motel. The room was clean and looked like it had been recently renovated and that was good. The beds were comfortable. It is good that they allow pets as we had one dog with us. We really only needed a place to sleep on this trip and that was really all we got.

Wow, I'm surprised how much I enjoyed my stay and am overall impressed by how high the quality is. This is my new first choice when I want to stay at a motel 6, especially since the price is lower here than anywhere else and the convenient location that is easy to find. The high quality rooms and nice showers are the best features. I was nice and high up on the third floor and the building is so big and has so many rooms that they were able to place me in a room where I didn't have any neighbors to take into consideration in the rooms neighboring mine and didn't have to worry about being too loud and complained about. The showers here are very nice which was a pleasant surprise because the last motel 6 I stayed at had very poor showers. The staff was highly professional, friendly, caring, kind, and always every single time either readily available or quickly responsive in assisting guests with accommodations. Customer satisfaction was always taken into consideration with high priority. If I had to think of something that could be improved or didn't like about my stay I guess I would say the floors could have been cleaner than they were and maybe they could add some laundry baskets somewhere (like maybe in the hallways) so that guests could properly dispose of dirty towels in the event that privacy becomes a factor that prevents the maids from entering the room when they come to clean.

I’m still here and service has not changed the employees make you feel at home I would definitely tell others all the employees here are just great they all deserve a pat on there Backs if I were manager I would definitely make sure their pay was up to par.

We have always stayed at this hotel and have always been happy. This weekend we asked for a a pillow and blanket but we ware told they did not have any. And then it was cold in the room and the heater did not work so it was not a good stay. We will try again was we travel to that city again. Thanks.

Your staff was top notch. Very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Location was good-we were back and forth from the balloon fiesta. But… while room was clean etc… no Kleenex, no lid on toilet, no hair dryer, subpar towels? Not impressed. I appreciate that this was your way to cut costs but the last night I think my bill (with tax) was about $112.00. You could do better — or perhaps I should say that I could have done better. We do not mind skipping a few extras but I found your bare bones approach not very satisfying. But let me repeat-staff were great. L.

The motel itself was excellent. Room was basic but clean and in great condition. Location was really good. The staff we encountered were all friendly and helpful but sadly all these good things were undone by the fact my wife had make up stolen from the room.

Understanding that the concept of less expensive rooms will have minimal amenities is expected. However the rooms were not clean by any standard. You might want to have better standard for that as it is a huge factor in picking a motel and returning. The staff was fine and friendly.

Not a bad place, the room was clean. When I checked in the amount was more than my booking, she said $136.00. I booked it for $101.00. She said "that's without tax" I said "tax is $36?! " and she said yes. So I waited for the next day and got a receipt, sure enough she had charged me $119.00 plus tax, not $101.00 plus tax. Yes, it's only $20. But $20 is $20. She did credit me back but I shouldn't have had to go back to get it back. I didn't feel safe. They rent out the 3rd floor to local "homeless" people.

The two stars are for the limited staff interaction I had, and she was nice at the front. Man, if you want to be up all night, get a room here. The walls are paper thin so you hear everything. It sounds like a dance floor on the floor above you and the shower is so loud. We couldn't even enjoy our window open because people don't know the definition of courtesy and take their nasty habit of smoking away from the building. I am very disappointed and will never stay here again. I wish I would've listened to the other reviews before booking here. It's definitely not worth the $$$. I'm usually asleep by now 10:30 p. M but this place is so noisy! I don't want to stay here another night. I also found a roach crawling around in the bathroom. Gross. But, one positive is the free coffee and tea 24/7.

Good place to stay if you need something for over night while traveling through Albuquerque. The rooms are smaller than expected, but comfortable. The three stars are for the excellent staff. The missing stars are because it was really loud (other rooms and showers, the halls, the entrances/exits) making it hard for the bf to sleep.

Your Customer Service was very good. All the employees we encountered were quite friendly. The room itself was not overly impressive but was still a very good value for the low price we paid for three adults.

Too many drug addicts around your facility. Your truck parking is a joke. You have to jump a big curb to get in & out of it… and it is not secure at all. So we park our trailer (as do other people) up by the hotel. The security was rude about making us move our trailer, but we had a trailer broken into last year at your hotel. There were many parking places available for more people, I walked & counted 52 as a matter of fact. My son was having a beer in the lot with his cousin, (whom he hadn't seen in a year) which was against the rules I guess. Threatening to have our vehicle towed. The young lady at the desk was very unprofessional as well. So they pretty much would not honor my return reservation a few days later. (no rent list they said) I have stayed at your hotel for many years, and feel that there should be some consideration under the circumstances… to allow me to stay at this facility in the future. There was a drug transaction right there in your parking lot… and then some druggie girl walking around looking for "broken jewelry" she claimed. Just a bad situation in Albuquerque altogether. But maybe, if the security guy was watching who was coming into the parking lot in the first place… maybe there wouldn't be as much theft there. Like for instance, in Laredo Texas, on the border… the motel 6 security guard takes license plate numbers on every vehicle entering the lot… and they will let you have a cold beer & even grill something outside, after a long day. Nice.

I had a funeral in Albuquerque. I arrived at 3:00 am and only needed to get a couple hours sleep before I needed to go to the funeral home. That is all it basically was. The room was run down and the blankets had been torn and patched. It was reasonably clean, Just shabby.

The room was clean and nicely decorated. We just needed a room for the night during a road trip. We slept great. Got a room with a king bed and was able to use a blow-up mattress for our son. I would rate the hotel higher if breakfast had been offered.

Well you get what you pay for. Sort of. Staff truly has zero personality and they could care less to be of service. Cleanliness is iffy. Not quite to the point of seeing critters walking around but blankets, sheets, towels, shower curtain all had cigarette burns and holes. Room was super sterile. Felt like a Medicare hospital room. Location was difficult to get to and navigate around. Pool itself was clean and kids enjoyed it. Pool deck was another story. There was dog do do on the pool deck. Told staff about it and they didn't seem to care nor did they clean it the entire stay. You can tell they don't maintain the surrounding area either because you could smell the overwhelming odor of doggy do do from the grass surrounding the pool. Finally, some sketchy folks hang out here. Not just guests but came out to leave for meeting at 6 am and about 10 tweeters were outside smoking weed and making Walmart look tame. Sure price is cheap but don't bother if you're in a pinch.

Staying at this motel 6 was pleasant. Front desk were very helpful and polite. My room was very clean and comfortable. When the vending machine in the lobby took my money I was kindly given my money back. Great experience!

Terrible. That's all I can say. Me and my boyfriend had to get a smoking room because they said that was all what was left, we arrived here from Texas at 6 in the morning so we just wanted a place to sleep. I know it's a smoking room so I expected burn marks here and there like there was on the floor and tub, but you could at least change out the pillow. And the sheets since there was blood on them. As well as the curtains. One of the sheets was ripped. I don't know what happened in here but damn that room was disgusting. The bathroom was surprisingly clean however when we arrived there was little to no toilet paper left on the roll and when we called the front desk for more they said it would take 20 to 30 minutes. Just for some damn toilet paper. Albuquerque is a beautiful place and I definitely will visit again, but this hotel I will NOT.

Motel 6 has been a great part of our traveling experience. They provide cheep and clean rooms for the person who doesn't care to pay an extra 100 bucks a night for fancy amenities. We have stayed in locations all around the country.

The rooms are always clean and it is pet friendly, unlike other motels that want deposits for each pet. Some of the shower stalls are not fat people friendly but great nonetheless.

Pleasant surprise. Nicely upgraded room. Not fancy, but clean and solid. I really like the wood finish floors. No problems of any sort.

Great staff. Ran into a problem in the first room we were in but they moved us to the second room without question.

This motel was very clean and the staff was friendly. We had a problem with the Wi-Fi for the first few nights. It wasn't a big deal, it was just a little inconvenient.

Service was good no hair dryer though thought that was weird and there is only one ice machine and only one vending machine and their on the base level.

I did not stay there, I just went to visit a friend who was in town. When I walked in, there was no receptionist to greet me, so if I was a potential guest, that would not be very good service. My friends room did have what looked like new hardwood floors which I've never seen in a hotel room.

Nice place for the value. Clean and modern looking, only negative was the mattress was old and borderline too squeaky. No microwave or fridge in room but plenty of hot water in the nice bathroom. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. No real complaints I arrived after midnight and left in the morning refreshed. Noon checkout time is always appreciated.

As usual the internet connection sucks; I do not know why Motel6 does not get a better vendor. It is frustrating in getting email. The Staff was friendly, the room was clean and it is a good value for the money.

We stayed at the hotel 6 in northern Albuquerque. When we got in the room there was dried blood on the comforter and the heater squeaked every 10 minutes. It was imposable to get aa good night sleep.

Great hotel located on the pan American freeway. Great price friendly staff and clean rooms.

Rooms were fine, but have to go to the front desk every morning for a hair dryer or iron — — can only check it out for the duration of use as you have to give them your id. No free Wi-Fi.

Friendly & accommodating staff. Nice room, great, quiet location. Close to pretty much everything. Very nice pool. Quiet rooms & hvac system is in wall (works awesome & quiet) instead of window units that are noisy and don't work very well. Our dog was happy, our kid was happy, we were happy.

Remodeled version. Clean room and right off I-25 Negs: SMALL bath tub, Small '90's TUBE TV and NO free WI-FI!

Clean, but loud guests late into the night. Have some way of reminding the guests that they are not the only ones at the motel and some guests are trying to get some sleep.

Dingey not even the heat worked right allright in even the roaches had better motels to go to.

I was in a room close to the lobby, and that night it was very busy with many guests checking in. I asked the front desk if I could move and a kind employee gave me a different room down the hallway. A few of the Motel 6's in Albuquerque get mixed reviews, but the one on Pan American Freeway is clean, safe, comfortable and easy to find. January 2015.

Awesome stay comfortable clean rooms very friendly staff price beat out most motels in area the parking lot was even clean with security. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

It was an unexpected stay, but a good one indeed. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom. Everything in the room worked good, such as lights, heater, etc. Would definitely stay at this specific location again.

Best price for a room I've seen so far. My pets stayed for free and the room was great. Hardwood floors feel so much cleaner than carpet.

Good value, clean room. Bed wasn't great, but better than average for this price. A bit challenging to navigate to because of construction. This M6 had the small Ikea syle updated rooms. TV was analog, but I don't care. Wi-Fi is $3 a day. Friendly staff, and like I said — — — clean room.

You have to pay $3/day to use their Wi-Fi! There are plenty of good motels that provide free Wi-Fi. They are just nickel and diming you. I will never stay at Motel 6 again.
