Room spacious and comfortable. It's clean.
There's an ironing table and an iron, a fridge and a microwave.
The safe is missing.
The staff at the front desk are very nice and smiling.
Breakfast is offered and it is very good.

Bed was AWESOME, very comfortable. I used the hot tub. I had to clean the leaves out of it and a dead bug, but I did use it and the wzter was the perfect temperature and it was relaxing. And what is with the pink shower tile? Out of date or Southwestern motif? It was next door to Brewery and several little restaurants, so very handy for dinner and a cocktail before hitting the comfortable bed.

The Hampton Inn University/Midtown is a good hotel. It can be a little hard to access if you're not coming off I-40. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. However, it is in pretty major need of a remodel. The carpet is rippling, and it is faded in most places. The bathrooms are in bad shape — though they are clean. The breakfast was not very good either. But if you are just looking for an overnight stay, this is a decent option.

Great stay! Very friendly and clean. Very good hot breakfast. It was next to Green Jeans which was great to get some Santa Fe beers and good food for dinner.

Great location, very central, though a bit tricky to get to the first time. No problem once you have GPS get you there once. Quick access to I40 & I25. Good food, multiple choices, within walking distance. The housekeeping here is better than I've experienced a lot of places. I appreciate the attention to detail in cleaning the room daily.

Breakfast area a little bit small. However, the food is good. Love the cookies in the afternoon. A good hotel to stay in.

Comfortable rooms. Great location off highway. Odd entrance. Nice staff. Great diner, drinks, coffee right out front door.

We have stayed here one night over Easter weekend and the staff is so friendly. I especially want to mention the young lady who was working the desk at night. She was so super helpful. I can’t remember her name but she had beautiful braids in her hair. Rooms are clean and beds are good.

We drove 5hrs and had booked our room a week ahead. Our debit card was not able to be processed but we had $2, 000 cash in pocket. They wouldn't take our cash even after we offered a $500 deposit until the morning and they still turned us away. Poor business in my opinion. Won't take cash with an Id is ridiculous. The guy at the front desk was extremely rude too. Econolodge next door was more than happy to take a $100 deposit and was very friendly.

Great location with several food options across parking lot. Room was updated nicely and clean. Front desk helpful and friendly. Breakfast room was a little crowded on the counter space and seating but hotel was full that evening. Exiting property was tricky as you can't leave the way you entered. Great stay!

A nicely located and attractive locale. My room had a very comfortable bed and pleasant modern surroundings (similar to Hampton Baton Rouge). This hotel also sports 2 elevators, making easy during 'rush hour, ' and mitigating the risk that I'd have to carry out all my luggage by stairs if one breaks. Loading through the uncover side entrances (while snowing) was not fun, but that's what we were directed to do. Also, where the luggage carts are. Felt kinda the help. As customary in my experience with Hamptons, the a/c fan does not run all night as I would prefer. I can't sleep with still air no matter its temperature. This is actually the last Hampton I will book for this trip and subsequent due to this issue, which is mine and not necessarily anyone else's. But, it did have bathroom extractor. Finally, housekeeping was spotty, in my one-night stay experience.

I loved my stay there. They were one of the few hotels to have a proper gym. Loved it!

Rooms were great! So cozy and comfortable and made you feel like you were home. The coffee and tea bar is always stocked up in the lobby. And across the street, there is a selection of food for any time of the day!

Staff, including housekeeping and maintenance, is super friendly and accommodating. Rooms are detailed with a slight New Mexico feel and are clean and well-maintained. Walking distance to eateries and stores including Green Jean Farmery (right outside the front door) and Walmart (about half a mile up the street).

Convenient location and easy access from I-40. I was able to check in early online and that made the on-site check-in very easy. Room was nice and clean, hotel staff was friendly, and the hotel felt safe and secure. I would stay here again and would definitely recommend.

It's conveniently located near the highway. Check in was incredibly fast and the room was clean and comfortable. I very much enjoyed my stay!

The rooms were clean. The staff was kind they went out if their way to make sure we were taken care of. They were great with the kids. The rates were ok.

We arrived in the evening for our stay. The staff checked us in quickly and got us in our rooms. The rooms were clean and in great shape. We had a very restful night before leaving in the morning.

Quiet and cozy. The road that leads to it can be confusing with all the one way entrances and exits but if you get a mountainside room… breathtaking views.

Great place if your traveling through Albuquerque, New Mexico and need a place to stay over night. There is a security unit circling the property however I have felt that the staff & hired security have ZERO communication. I'd recommend if your paying a premium for a room there are far better places within the area.

Clean and great service. Pricey for what you get. Avoid south side of building, parking lot lights shine into rooms at night.

Adequate stay. The service was great. I love the fact that they had breakfast in the morning. Rooms were very clean.

You usually know what you're getting when you book chain hotels. There's the crummy ones, the mid-range ones, the fancy ones. Once in awhile you TOTALLLY LUCK OUT with a GEM of a hotel that knocks your socks off. This is it. Totally unassuming, affordable, and off the highway, this Hampton Inn will make you believe in Hampton Inns for the rest of your life… CLEANEST room I've ever been in, NICEST staff I've ever encountered (dear management, MARCO is the BOMB and does YOUR company the BEST service imaginable! ) Plus, it's an easy, central location to downtown ABQ and all it's fun stuff. Awesome. 100% awesome. Marco. Awesome.

Overall nice hotel. Beds are clean and very soft. Staff is very nice.

I personally had a good experience. The hotel is a bit dated but the room had nice beds, good AC, a handy desk, good shower, medium fridge, and microwave. Breakfast was standard but good. They really seemed to put the little bit of extra care into everything. Now the caveat: day staff was great, night staff was mediocre to terrible. Evening/night staff was really slow checking is in, screwed up reservations (cancelled my room keys a day early), and there was some other weird screw ups on their part. My colleague was victim to more of the incompetency, so he'd probably give 2-3 out of 5 but I really had no bad experiences myself.

Very nice! Clean room, new mattress, fitness room, and pool. Just take your own toilet paper. It was a little rough. Other than that everything was perfect!

Was presently surprised by how much this hotel was. Is very close to the interstate but not noisy. Great food and beer options within walking distance.

April, 2015 we stopped at this location on Coors for the night since we had stayed there before. When left the next day I remembered in Amarillo, Tx that I had left my jewelry in our room. There are no rm safes. We called back & they had the jewelry. We turned around. All the jewelry was there… except for 2 diamond rings. We called the police at about 4pm. We checked in for the night. After a long delay from police, the manager came over & in his words, told us we had to "get out". This was about 9pm. He said we were causing a disturbance & told the policeman as much. Did I mention that w wind chill it was 40 degrees & that we are 75 YEARS OLD? WE TELL EVERYONE NOT TO STAY AT A HAMPTON INN. We & our friends tranvel alot.

Very clean and comfortable for the price. Located right across the street from the green Jean farmery which houses the Santa Fe brewery taproom.

The Hampton was very nice with comfortable beds and friendly service.

Surprisingly well located in the middle of town and near a brewery and food court area (walking distance). Gym is a little small, however.

Thought I was at home in Alburquerque! Leaving Flagstaff, Arizona and spending about 4 1/2 hours on Interstate 40 we entered the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The sun was setting and the city was glistening. As we arrived at our destination the Hampton seemed as if it was on top of a small mountain. My tom tom told me to turn right and make a U-turn and the Hotel was on the left. Duh I turned right and made a U-turn. I Didn't do that again. Check in was swift and the desk clerk very efficient and told us where to park and where the elevators were located. We had some cookies upon checking in-always a nice touch. The room was very clean, bathroom spotless and the bed dreamy comfortable. We were only spent going to spend one night at this Hampton Inn go to Roswell and then spend one more night here, but we felt like so at home so we modified our itinerary to spend 2 additional nights here after coming back from one night in Roswell, New Mexico. Breakfast was very good as usual at the Hampton Inns with a decent variety of choices. Hot oatmeal, cold cereal, waffles, pastries eggs and bacon or sausages sometimes gravy and biscuits. Free Wi-Fi for Hilton Honors Gold members They always had cookies in the early evenings. The pool/hot tub was closed for yearly maintenance, but we didn’t mind that as we would be busy visiting the ABQ Zoo, Sandia Tram and riding the New Mexico Rail Runner (meep meep)!

Friendly & Professional Staff that really cared about guest experience! Awesome breakfast and fresh coffee was available anytime of the day. Only thing I can suggest to improve is the Wi-Fi. Thank you Hampton Inn ABQ uptown.

Outdated, pink tile in shower, wall paper coming off walls. King size bed is worn completely out I feel like I am sleeping on a trampoline with springs poking me. Wouldn't recommend.

Pillows= great. Beds= great. If you are hoping for a good nights sleep, this is your place. The breakfast is a notch above most continental breakfasts, and get this, the Wi-Fi was also great :) Attentive hotel manager who takes your needs seriously. I want to buy the pillows for my house!

Particularly well appointed rooms and just steps away from plentiful dining options at the brand new (at time of visit) micro-mall made of cargo shipping containers just steps to the west of this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Hampton Inns never let me down. This location was both spacious and clean. The water pressure was strong and the water was hot. The bed was very comfortable!
