Awesome place visiting fro. Dallas texas.

Room was not numbered, making it tough to find. As we traveled with a baby, we had some things they needed being refrigerated. Appliances were not plugged in when arrived, hence did it myself and to my surprise, the mini fridge did not work and couldn't be changed but until day after, fortunately we carried a icebox and were able of keeping goods cold enough. Besides these incidents, remote control for TV was not located anywhere visible, so the team helped us providing a replacement, the morning after while picking up some things baby had dropped, it was noticed the remote was actually under the bed, so returned the second one as we were leaving the property for the day. Despite all the above, service has been real good, FD people are very helpful and happily assist as possible.

Nice clean rooms. Noisy people upstairs can be heard walking across floor. Very close to ABQ airport and restaurants. Easy to access.

Ear plugs on the night stand were the first red flag. After a night with a very warm room and loud fan my a/c unit was replaced. The new unit kept things cooler, but still too warm. Additionally the new unit was extremely loud, waking me up several times despite the complimentary noise reduction devices left on my bedside table.

Even though we had a mobile check-in, we we're assigned to two rooms that were already occupied. Finally sent to a handicapped accessible room with a pull out couch. However, there were no linens. Another delay. Finally after over an hour and a half we we're able to get to bed. This was after 2 am. Had to be at the airport at 5:30. Needless to say, this property will not be on our repeat visit list. Front desk person seemed to have had no training, and especially not in customer service and mobile check-ins.

It's a good hotel for overnight. It's easy to get to from the airport or highway. Plenty of locations for food within walking distance. Upon arrival the exterior is clean and modern. The lobby compliments the exterior with a very clean and contemporary atmosphere. The staff is kind and considerate of their customers. The feeling is inviting and comforting, that is until I got to my room. The rooms are dated,. Kinda. It's a mixture between dated furniture and paint, to a modern fixture and style. Their were a few areas that had been patched and not really repaired to even look like it's original state. Some loose trim and minor touch ups that can clearly been ignored for a while. Don't get me started with the Wi-Fi, I made every attempt to get connected and it all failed. Breakfast was good but nothing fancy but hey, curves that hunger and gets you going. Over all it was a good stay.

The pool was dirty and I find two cockroaches in the bathroom, two in the toilet area and one in the shower, that was very disgusting.

This was a typical lower tier Marriott property near the airport. The room was clean, recently renovated, provided basic amenities, and customer service was very good. Breakfast was a highlight, as it provided a hot breakfast with more than enough items for the average diet. The bad was the pool. It was tiny and full of mold. There has been no historical effort to keep it clean. The hot tub was extremely dirty. Since it was just an overnight stay, it was an above average property.

We stayed here after have a terrible time at another hotel nearby. I did a walk in vacany check and expected to pay $$$ good money to stay here. Instead I qualified for amazing medical rates. The staff welcomed me even through my hardshipsand even offered a bottle of water. The rooms were superior clean & no musky smell. The bathrooms were clean to my picky liking. Bed were comfy and pillows were great. Michael brought up two cribs for my two littles. He was so sweet and kept asking if I needed anything. I cant thank him enough. Breakfast was a great choice! Love that they have almond milk and mini waffles. Perfect for my growing babies. I will say this is one of my best hotel stays ever and I stay at hotels frequently.

Love this place We go once every year to Albuquerque New Mexico for the special Olympics tournament's and we stay in this motel or anyone that is available at the time#

This hotel has recently been renovated and is beautiful inside. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating with my elderly grandmother. They really went above and beyond for her. The outside pool is also quite nice.

Very helpful people at the front desk, comfortable room. The bathroom was a bit tight. We were next to the elevator and couldn't hear it at all, but some noise from the pool did filter in.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and would gladly stay again. It's not perfect, but there was nothing that kept me from feeling comfortable and happy my whole time here. Pros: — Excellent breakfast — Nice location — Very courteous staff — Comfortable room Cons: — While generally clean, there were some obvious oversights in my room. Specifically trash left in drawers and on the floor, food left in a drawer, and the bathroom was not very clean — Hallway noise is very, very easy to hear — The coin-op laundry is in such poor condition that it had me afraid for my laundry, and even for my safety. That is not an exaggeration. Also, it was so loud neighbors kept opening the door to stop it so I had to dry my laundry in my room — Minor maintenance issues, but it looks like they're falling behind the problems. I'd be curious what state this place is in in 5 years.

Absolutely rudest service! I needed a personal taxi. Front desk should call Nd set the service for you. I was met with the most unprofessional help. Was the absolute worst stay. Worst service possible. Front desk was extremely rude. Will be contacting HR to file a formal complaint. Don’t expect any humain service. This is terrible place to do any stay with. Terrible place to stay for business or leisure.

Abysmal service. We had family in the neuro icu and we called for reservations here so we could be close to the hospital with our loved one so sick. They told us they had a room but when we told them we had a letter from the hospital that offered a small discount they told us we couldn’t have the room because they were sure to sell out at full price. So sad and untruthful obviously they are not willing to to discount and should not be allowed to be on the hospital list. Great news is the comfort inn on MCKnight street is amazing very compassionate and more than willing to give us the discount and had such kind words for us. To bad the Fairfield inn does not share that compassion. I can assure you as someone who travels often I will not patronize a Fairfield ever again.

Love the new hotel exterior! Hotel outside is under renovation but the rooms are all new. Great Service and very close to the airport!

Stayed January 11-13 for a funeral in Albuquerque. Quiet, clean, and comfortable. The construction is virtually over, with only some outside stucco work going on that does not affect the guests in any way. The shuttle ride to and from the airport was very prompt and courteous.

I liked the location of the Fairfield. It is walking distance to many restaurants and convenience stores. The property is very clean even though it is being remodeled. The hot free breakfast was very good.

Comfortable beds, friendly people, good location, reasonable price.

This is a nice place. Even they are renovating outside, but the room is clean and neat. The breakfast is good too, kids love them.

BED BUGS! You would expect more from a Marriott Hotel, but not this one. I returned home with 10 bed bug bites. Absolutely disgusting! Now 11 days later, I still have a few left. Notified the hotel and no response! The last time this happened to me (10 years ago at a hotel in FL) the manager replied immediately and they assured me an exterminator was there the same day I reported it. These people don't even care — NO RESPONSE! You've been warned — find another place to stay.

I'm gonna try to make this as brief as possible At first when we we're getting the room there was a really nice blond lady that answered my questions the room is nice and clean when you first are there. You have to tell housekeeping to do your bed and everything you want done if not they won't do it. One night we came a little late and you have to use ur key to open the automatic door so I was looking for it in my purse anyways there was this black guy that you can tell didn't like us and he came over and told us to use our key next time. It's like that is what we were doing. He shouldn't be working there if he doesn't like his job.

We love staying here always great service and breakfast is always good too. Applebees is right next to each other so you can go to happy hour. Recommended.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU HAVE ANY KIND OF MOVING VAN AND TRAILER IN THE PARKING LOT OVERNIGHT! Security is VERY lax and on June 3, a couple had its entire life's possessions stolen from the parking lot of this hotel while they were sleeping totaling about $100, 000! Some people think that someone from the hotel may have have tipped off someone to come and steal the large U-Haul truck and the trailer with a truck on it. There is no proof of that but it DOES make you wonder. The truck and trailer were later found in the desert to the west but the moving truck with all the possessions was never found. The hotel staff has never gone public about this issue since it does not want to create bad publicity for its hotel and lose business but you should be aware of this if you want to stay at this hotel if you are moving. This has happened at other hotels in Albuquerque and criminals are always on the lookout for overnight visitors parked with their possessions in the parking lots. The bottom line is DO NOT STOP OVERNIGHT IN ALBUQUERQUE AT THIS HOTEL OR ANY OTHER HOTEL IN TOWN if you value your possessions! Keep on driving to another safer city. You have been warned! And shame on the Fairfield Inn for your lax security in causing this to happen to good people who were spending the night at your hotel and had their entire life taken away from them by thieves. You have lost their business and mine.

Check in was super easy and speedy! The rooms are amazing and in excellent condition, great remodel. The beds were the perfect firmness, not too soft but not too firm either!

A pleasant stay. The effort put forth on cleanliness really showed. Plus, unlike the one across town, they don't let pets stay in the rooms. That's what kennels are for.

The room was nice, but w no refrigerator or micro wave. Chair in room not comfortable, but bed was. Staff VERY friendly and helpful.

Room nice and comfortable and even though the hote is by the airport, I never heard traffic or planes. Breakfast was average, but the staff is friendly and professional. I'd stay again.

This place is wonderful! Stayed twice and going back again in August. Carlos is a wonderful asset to this hotel with breakfast he makes sure is always freshly put out. Everyone at the desk has been incredible! Thank you and see you again soon! A. Smith.

Recently renovated, it offers a fresh decor and atmosphere. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Facilities are clean and rooms are, for the most part very quiet. The facility still offers FREE breakfast which is usually crowded but appreciated. Guests don't take long to come, eat and go. Close to the airport offering a complementary shuttle, ask the front desk associate for times and availability. They have a nice Applebees next door and a couple of gas stations close by, in case you rented a car and have too fill up. Overall a nice Marriott Fairfield ENJOY!

Recently renovated the Fairfield inn offers a very family oriented Marriott experience. The rooms are nice, the showers are amazing walk in glass installations, and the staff is welcoming. The fitness area is a little lackluster featuring only a few cardio machines and a basic weight set. This location also features a pool that was heavily used while I was there. A final point in their favor is that this is one of the few Marriott's that still offer a free breakfast. Overall a good experience.

The hotel has been updated. Very nice rooms although ours didn't have a fridge. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Nice walk in shower but it doesn't have any kind of shelves to put your bottles on, we had to put them down on the floor!

A nice room overall. Trash from a previous guest was still in the fridge. Comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. Breakfast was great. More than just some fruit. They had eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and a waffle maker. Places for food in walking distance. All and all, I was pleased.

I have stayed at Marriott hotel everywhere I travel and have never had a bad experience until now. No coffee creamer available, no toiletpaper (a box of kleenex was left on top of the tank, elevator did not work, had to take stairs to 4th floor dirty rag was left on TV. My compliments to the front desk clerk, Joe, did everything he could to accommodate us thank you Joe.

The main reason I give this hotel a four star rating is because of the staff. A lady called Shannon on reception was so helpful, cheery and kind and made our stay a better one. Thank you.

Average. I have stayed at several Fairfield Marriott and have never had as much dissatisfaction as this one. The hot tub was anything but hot and the Jets were actually blowing out cold water, disappointment number one. The TV was not working and had to be completely replaced in the room but the good part about that is they came and changed it quickly and we're apologetic. There was no shampoo or soap in the room which we had to go get ourselves. The bed is a little too firm for me. The breakfast… no eggs, no cream cheeses, the food was slightly warmer than room room temperature, the fruit looked old… The best part was the room was clean.

Not recommended. AVOID THIS PLACE Review from business traveler. — — Room doors slam LOUD. — Construction is so bad that you can feel the concussion of people "WALKING" floors BELOW you in the hallway as well as in ajacent rooms.! Floor construction is one of the worst I've seen in 24 years of Biz travel. — Housekeeping has taken the TV Remote TWICE in last 4 days.! — No mature front desk staff. — No GM. Only an Asstant Mgr. — Staff too young to really care. I would NEVER stay here again. Business or lesiure.

Great value, good continental breakfast, nice sized rooms, free internet, free printer available, easy parking. Every employee I spoke to there was really nice and helpful. My only negative was the last night I stayed there and the elevator and third floor smelled really badly of marijuana. I doubt it is the hotel's fault but it was really obvious/icky.

Worst. Service. Ever. It's 2010 and all four Marriotts nearby don't have any no vacancy signs. Instead of calling, they sent me to three different Marriotts to check in person if they had any rooms available. This was after I had driven all the way from Denver, a seven hour drive. Out of all the Marriotts, this one was the absolute worst. After "helping" me, she said, "Next customer in line. " without batting an eye. The only thing going through my mind was, "Seriously? You're just going to ignore me? " I know it's not their obligation to help but as one human being to another, being stuck in a town you've never been in without a place to stay is not a good place to be. You're probably asking why didn't you just make reservations? I'm doing a grand 10, 000 mile tour of America. There is no way I could do that unless I spent six months to a year of planning ahead. Even then some places wouldn't let me get a room that early. I've never been treated so coldly. I used to be a member, never again.

We recently stayed on 7/4 and had thousands of dollars worth of things stolen from our hotel room. No remorse from staff. Totally expressionless! We were on the last leg of a cross country move so brought things inside as directed by signs outside. 2 laptops 3 passports, ipod, and mutiple gifts from a recent going away party! We have received no APOLOGY nor assistance from this location or the corporate office. I urge you to reconsider staying here.
