Great staff! From making sure our room had everything we needed, to pulling our car out of the snow. (By the way, big thanks to those guys who plowed and shoveled and towed all of us surprised by the 6 inches that fell over night! ). Food at the restaurant was terrific and the grounds perfect for a lovely stroll. We will come back.

I just really do not understand why the service in the cafe is so bad. Every. Single. Time. We spend a lot of time in Abiquiu and keep coming back hoping things have improved, but, alas, another afternoon of lousy service.

Food is great, friendly people just a cool place.

We loved staying at the Inn! They were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was incredible! And the sculpture garden was beautiful!

Lovely grounds and friendly staff. Compliments to the morning cook breakfast was amazing. The room was also haunted. Heard footsteps all night long in and out of the bathroom and at breakfast in front of me and other guest doors opened and closed all on their own. .

Stayed the night before and the night of my elopement. Everything was perfect, and they let us take some amazing pictures! Clean rooms, comfy beds, beautiful views, friendly staff, and tasty breakfast. Thank you!

I❤love the Ribeye Steak and Polenta corn cakes are excellent! We go just for the Strawberry field Salad and Macaroni cheese green chile. The teas are refreshing!

Excellent food and great service. The art work outside and inside is breathtaking!

15 minutes to get water, 30 to get our order taken, another 45 waiting for food. One waiter on a slow Thursday night. No excuse for bland food and poor service, disguised as fine dining. Not worth the trip. Never do I go to a restaurant and leave zero for waiter or waitress, it happened tonight.

Just had a magnificent Valentine Day dinner at the Abiquiu Inn — First Class dining at a very reasonable price. Great ambiance, excellent and attentive service and a memorable food selection for this special holiday. We live almost 2 hours away from the Inn — this was definitely worth the trip. We will be back!

Beautiful grounds and well thought out so you don’t look at vehicles in the lot, but have vista views from your front porch — especially from the back units like 28 — 30. Loved it and very restful place. Love the sculpture gardens and little trails. Bed was awesome and room brand new.

What a great location and amenities! obviously with the connection to Georgia O'Keefe it's a must, but they have incredible staff and the cafe is marvelous!

Took a ride from Santa Fe to Ghost Ranch and stopped in for some refreshment and were dazzled by their use of space, loaded with sculpture and the food was really good. Georgia OKeefe hideout nearby, totally worthwhile. May add a stay to bucket list.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting Ghost Ranch. Outdoor seating, friendly waiter, FANTASTIC meal.

Had the pleasure of spending Thanksgiving at this lovely little gem. The food was wonderful and the staff was amazing. I highly recommend this beautiful little oasis in the Chama River Valley. I'll definitely be back.

We just had lunch here. The menu had some interesting things on it. Prices were reasonable. The food was presented nicely and tasted great! Very helpful service!

We've never stayed at the Abiquiu Inn, but when we visit, we usually stop by the Abiquiu Inn's Restaurant. Their Tamale Cake Napoleon is a must-order, as is their Roasted Cauliflower Salad. Although their menu is not super big, they have plenty of options for vegetarian and gluten free eaters.

Room was nicely done, but a bit over priced in my opinion. Decent toiletries included and are pump style. Parking is gravel and sloped, which made motorcycle parking dicy. Toilet didn’t flush because of maintenance to their septic (even splashed my partner in the face! ), which they reluctantly reduced my rate for. Even blamed it on government regs designed to protect the river! Included breakfast includes food, but not labor costs. You’re still responsible for the gratuity. Internet was not adapted to their concrete walls, so the signal cut out frequently. These and other data points indicate owners are a bit cheap.

The cafe was refreshingly quaint with lovely outdoor seating among the huge cottonwood trees. The Blue corn trout resting on corn cakes was delicious but quite petite. The Abiquiu BLT with avocado served with freshly made potato chips was delightful. You can expect to enjoy a nice meal with friendly helpful staff.

Beautiful setting, clean and well appointed rooms, gracious staff, and an outstanding restaurant with an interesting and varied menu. Our stay included 3 nights and 3 lunches and 3 3 dinners, all delicious! Day adventures included morning hikes on the trails at Ghost Ranch, Georgia O'Keefe house tour, and beautiful drive and visit to Christ in the Desert Monastery.

Everything is so nice… First it in is in the middle of nowhere… Or everywhere… Beautiful New Mexico setting. Great food and staff. Unbelievable day and night skies. Rooms are beautiful and spacious. And to to it of Horses right outside.

I would have given much higher rating if it wasn't the fact that they did not have hot water for the second half of our stay. From the second day, they ran out of hot water after one of us took a shower, and the hot water never came back up to the time we left on the third day. The room style and the land this inn is located at are pretty, but I hope the basic needs of hot water can be met, and I don't think that is too much to ask.

My organization booked twenty rooms for a meeting and had a dinner for 40 people in the cafe. Everything about the experience was superb… the rooms were lovely, the staff professional and friendly, and the service and food in the restaurant were well above average. Truly an unexpected treasure. I look forward to staying there again! Highly recommend!

Beautiful place with lots of scenic views! Horses in the ranch next door too. Several local artists on display and available in the gift shop. Food at the restaurant was excellent! We will definitely be back!

Update: Abiquiu Inn was chosen as the spot to celebrate a huge online presence mile Stone, and a good choice it was. Prime rib wasn't the star of the evening, but cooked perfectly. Veggies also still crisp and not over cooked. Chicken enchilada, packed with phenomenal flavor! I must admit, the coffee and pinon tart were the stars of the evening, the pistachio Sunday also tasty, but couldn't beat afore mentioned! Service was pleasant. Go, it's the best restaurant for celebrating a milestone, for literally MILES and if you're lucky enough to have the opportunity for an overnight stay, DO!

Home away from home. Consistently excellent food and service in an amazing, breath-taking environment. You won't be disappointed.

The people were rude and got our order wrong. Food was nasty and way too expensive. Green chilie on burger tasted like water.

We absolutely loved our room here. There was no carpet which we were impressed with. Lots of wood, slate, tile and beautiful fixtures and quaint furniture. The beds were comfy and the breakfast delicious. We plan to go again for a couple days during the summer when we can enjoy the property more. We live in Albuquerque.

A Fabulous place to stay with Awesome views to wake to and go to bed with. When we arrived they were having water issues so we were shuffled from room to room due the rooms not being cleaned because there was no water which was frustrating… Overall it was Heaven on earth with out of this world cuisine from the hotel restaurant.

Love the Abiquiu Inn! It's quiet, cozy and romantic. The fall views can't be beat. The on-site cafe also serves great food.

This is a bucket list location. The beauty is indescribable and so much to go see.
The Inn is perfect place to relax and find peace. Quiet and beautiful with a sky full of stars. The Abiquiu Valley even has a rule about commercial lights and signs. They make certain you can enjoy the amazing night sky. The owners have done an amazing job building a rescue Herd of horses for guests to enjoy viewing and giving treats. Rooms are a little slice of heaven themselves. Then the extra bonus, the restaurant! This is no hotel food. This the kind of meal you seek out and talk of for ages.
The locals are all very welcoming and kind enough to point out things to go and see.
If you make the drive you will not be disappointed.

I love this place! Except for the maintenance manager. He's very rude. But overall I love the people there and the rooms and the property are awesome!

Great outdoor dining. The cat does not have a rabies tag so be careful. Really good food and reasonable prices.

Very quaint. The atmosphere is very calm and beautiful. The food is okay. A great attempt at fine dining… but the flavour just isn't there. The gift shop is really what this place is all about.

Don't miss this stop on the way to Northern Mexico. The small cafe hosts excellent cuisine made from local ingredients. While you wait for your meal, roam the cafe and browse the local paintings.

Brenda was one of the most helpful receptionist I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Also, the room and courtyard was gorgeous, clean; and kittens playing outside were a total plus.

The rooms were filthy and the staff weren't overly helpful in rectifying the situation. When I went to take a shower the water came out dark brown. When I pulled the blankets back there was black hair on the sheets. It looked like the linens had not been changed since the last guest. Very gross, definitely would not recommend.

The room was very clean and well-presented. The service was quick and friendly. We will visit here in the future.

Have stayed here before and loved it, unfortunately this time I have been put in a room that is less than adequate. There are two rooms 18&19 that are stuck on the side of a building on the edge of the property. When opening the door to enter the room it barely misses the edge of the bed and the room is extremely small. There is no phone, an electric space heater and a window unit air conditioner in a room with rates that are $142 a night. There is a wall blocking the view of these rooms and nothing on the wall indicating the rooms located behind it. This room is more than over priced it is a room stuck in a shed they must be desperate for money if they are renting out rooms like this for this price. If you book a room here make sure you do not get room 18 or 19.

We stopped in for brunch, on our way to Santa Fe. It was an amazing place. The food was wonderful, the service was great. Little shops inside with unique items. The grounds and views were beautiful. We spent an extra hour or so, after brunch to enjoy this place. We would love to go back and stay a few days. Well worth the time.

A totally romatic holiday. Based on my experiece of sleeping in multiple rooms, this is THE place to bring your partner or group of lovers. Beds are newish and rooms are very inviting. Food is tasty for both dinner and breakfast. The trout breakfast was best I experienced in 2 weeks in southern Colorado and norther New Mexico.

We had a lunch there before visiting ghost ranch. Enjoyed strawberry salad with salmon instead of chicken for extra 4 dollars. Although trout with corn and asparagus seemed small portion at first it filled is up.

Had a delicious lunch at the café. I liked the white and blue corn chips with a great salsa. My meal was the cheese enchiladas, Christmas style. I also had the rosemary lemonade. Warm service. I enjoyed everything and would gladly visit again.

Great trout tacos to go with the Monk's Dark Ale and guacamole.

I can hardly rave enough about this fabulously charming inn, the innkeepers and the inn's wonderful restaurant (Cafe Abiquiu). After a long drive down from Denver, and a bit of a disappointment over the lavender farm, and then discovering there was no real "town" of Abiqui, I had that moment when you think "Uh-oh, what I have done" which isn't a thought that's fun to have after a long road trip. But the Abiquiu Inn was so wonderful that it made my whole trip. My room wasn't quite ready and I was weary, but they made wonderful suggestions about what I could do in the meantime (a perfect short hike to Poshuouinge Ruins) and when I got back my super charming room was ready, with a HUGE and super comfy king bed, a perfect little kiva fireplace, a fab big bathroom, a desk area, a sitting area, two a windows that opened to let in the perfect summer night air, etc. I couldn't have been happier with my room, but the best was still yet to come. Out in the middle of nowhere in Northern New Mexico, one hardly expects gourmet cuisine, but my dinner of blue corn crusted trout with delectable corn cakes was incredibly delicious — — actually perfect in every way. Breakfast the next morning also way exceeded expectations with the absolute best huevos rancheros I've ever had, served, as my helpful waiter suggested, "Christmas" style with half green and half red chile.

I've been a big supporter of the Abiquiu Inn for years. As a local B and B owner, I've sent almost all of our guests to the Inn for years. I also dined there at least 3-4 times per month. Lately I've been receiving lots of complaints from guests, I e-mailed my concerns to the Managers, no response. Then to the owners, no response. I had been noticing a decline in food and service too. We had Thanksgiving Day dinner there and it was average and then Christmas Day, it was hardly edible. Again, we mentioned this to Managers and Owners and no replies. We had guests who checked out and stayed with us after the room they checked into was filthy. They did report this to Trip Advisor. They remove all of their complaints off of their Facebook page. When we complained on the Abiquiu Facebook page, they created a hate campaign against us for complaining. They are in denial of all the problems there and we will never go back or ever recommend it.

Great location for visiting Georgia O'Keeffe's house and Ghost Ranch. Lots of nice nearby hiking. Rooms are big and beds comfortable. The dinner is pretty good. But some of the breakfast dishes could be (temperature) warmer.

Cindy and I didn't stay at the Inn, we just had lunch in the Cafe on our way to Ghost Ranch. We had been warned away from the food at Ghost Ranch by reviews we had read, and the Abiquiu Inn had come highly recommended. The lunch was very tasty. I had the corn patties with salmon. The salmon was cooked just the way I like it, likely cunchy on the outside, melt in your mouth like butter on the inside. Cindy had a chilled soup of cucumber, avocado, and yogurt. It was light and very refreshing. The service was very good. The ambience was fine. All in all the perfect place for lunch.

Enjoyed the facilities, clean sheets, etc kiva fireplace, biscochitacookies welcomed us, restaurant mediocre and understaffed but menu looked good. Manager was very polite and location to nearby tourist areas excellent but, we noticed a mosque on tourist map while looking for Georgia O'Keefe's homes which was unexpected in this remote tourist area of NM.

Describe your experience at The Abiquiu Inn. We stayed at the Inn recently during the winter season and at a very quiet period. The staff, David and Bridgett, were charming and friendly, and the waitress in the restaurant, where the food was excellent, could not do enough for us. We had a beautiful spacious room with luxorious bedding and decor. And the amazing thing was the price, under $100 and that included a great breakfast.
