I flew in from NC to visit my son after he graduated this summer from LaSalle. This was my first stay her and we loved it. The front desk staff were very professional and courteous. Will be back in November for the holidays.

Great staff very clean and comfortable.

The room was comfortable and quite private and spacious. The parking and the staff did not appear friendly or very Hospitable. Next visit may try something different.

Best staff ever! Ashley at the front desk, Lamar on the engineering staff and many others. I wish I could remember everyone's name.

Conference hosted at this hotel was canceled due to coronavirus. They absolutely refused to refund my money. Horrible customer service. Stay away!

Stayed here last weekend for the ComedySportz Championships. The entire experience was fantastic. We were very happy to see the theatre where the Championships were was a 2 minute walk from the hotel! Great room service and housekeeping. The people working the front desk were friendly and very helpful. If we’re ever back in Philadelphia we will be staying here!

Double Tree has the best cookies and helpful staff. Our room on the 24th floor had a corner window with a great view!

Great front desk staff, bellmen and concierge. All were very pleasant and happy help and answer questions. Room was large and comfortable. Housekeeping did well. Meeting spaces and banquet services provided good food and service.

Every one of the staff members we have had the displeasure of dealing with has had the worst attitudes… I have never had this bad of an experience at any other Doubletree.

Room was not worth the $$$. I was told I had a newly renovated room with clean air. Well I can tell you our room was not updated and the clean air filter was filled of dust!

Employees were very kind and efficient. At times, the front desk is very busy and can have the wait times be a could of minutes. The cookies are great and the amenities are pretty good. One of our rooms smelled like cigarette smoke and both rooms had multiple outlets that didn't work out were very loose when plugging something in. I believe these would need to be serviced or replaced in the next building update…

PROS: Hotel was nice, clean, located right on Broad Street, very convenient to theaters, restaurants, other attractions. Staff was friendly, very efficient, pleasant to speak with. Beds were comfortable. Shower had good pressure & plenty of hot water. Able to leave car in parking lot after checkout. CONS: Parking is NOT included, self parking in lot is $30 CASH, can't use credit cards in lot, valet parking even more expensive.

Had a very nice room with good bed and hot shower with plenty of water pressure. The Executive Center will you great for water and a quiet place to host meetings. Holes were hot and muggy but the room was able to stay cool. Also participated at a conference there which was well-managed. The conference food was shockingly good. I wish there had been a self-service washer and dryer but had to send out for cleaning which took a day. I also took advantage of nearby convenience stores and everything was easily walkable.

The hotel is perfectly serviceable for what it provides. Good location, decent rooms, decent prices, and a friendly and courteous staff. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. There was a high pitched squeaking whenever the shower was on, and the housekeeping staff tried to enter the room at 8:30 am. We should have had the Do Not Disturb sign up, but 8:30 felt a bit early regardless. These circumstances did not majorly impact our stay, but they do prevent me from leaving a 5 star review.

A great place to stay while exploring Philly! It is centrally located right in the city centre, steps away from most tourist attractions, the gayborhood, restaurants and shopping. The staff went out of their way to ensure my girlfriend and I were welcomed, and even upgraded our suite at no charge in honour of her birthday — a truly appreciated gesture. The rooms have been recently renovated and offer great views of the skyline. Modern decor, full amenities and even an executive lounge which has warm breakfast offerings — if you are staying on the executive floor. There is a pool and a sauna, but no hot-tub. There is on-site parking in a garage for $30.00 per day if you self park. This gets you unlimited in and out parking privileges. Staff are very accommodating and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed, were very friendly upon check-in and were able to get us into our room early and also arrange for a late check out. I would highly suggest staying here if you are looking for a place to stay while in Philly.

We were upgraded to Suites when we arrived. Dining room in the bar, nice and good service. The rooms were clean. AC was very noisy. The shower curtain does not stop water leaking all over the floor. Went to breakfast, orange juice and milk was warm. Toaster didnt toast well. Lots of items missing. Omelet station out of tomatos, told not getting anymore, potatos out too. Many guests were complaining things needed to be replenised. We noticed a serving cart which was extremely dirty. Lots of tables were dirty and needed to be cleared.
Elevators were terrible, had to wait so long for an empty one, we walked down the stairs or used Team members elevator instead.

Location is good. Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in i. E; The Westin Manhattan, The Loews Madison DC it falls short. TV is outdated, too small for room, no guide on TV nor guide in room. Pillows smelled a little stale, doors slam making loud noise. Located on busy street so while location is great noise from road is all night. Walls thin, could hear our neighbor talking through the night. Room service took about 30-45 minutes, prices okay. Restaurant in lobby decent. Wait staff no personality; least with ours. For over $200 a night not sure it was worth the stay. Air set on 72 and was sweating, filter dirty and clogged. Beds comfortable, moderately clean rooms; stained shower curtain, carpet and chair. Is what it is, will not stay here again.

Love staying here when visiting the city. Location is perfect. Staff are almost always very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Good cookies too.

Great hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff. The best part was the restaurant in the lobby The food was phenomenal. The presentation was creative and interesting and the food did not disappoint either. Delicious.

Really nice place with an indoor parking lot nearby and also a nice Beef and Beer Cafe. Also within walking distance of the Academy Of Music. A pleasant staff and an overall Great experience considering it's in hectic center city. I had a good meal, saw a show at THe Academy, and a pleasant stay. Recommended absolutely.

Rooms very nice, clean. There for meetings. Friendly staff, helpful. Breakfast was ok, some buffet items cold. Lunch, dinner menu very limited, few choices. Poor quality — thought of ordering from grub hub. Poor food between meeting sessions as well. Ordered salads for lunch — poor… Definitely eat elsewhere.

Nice, clean hotel in a good location. Convince store just out hotel. Nice city walking. Not far from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (by car). Did not like paying $30 to park but that's how all the city hotels are. If you want to be right in the city this is a nice hotel other wise you can save yourself a good but by staying just outside the city where rooms are cheaper and parking is free.

Was at the hotel for a conference. While the facilities were nice, there were some issues. The first being that there was only one power outlet available for a room of 200 conferees. In this age, you have to be able to power your devices. The food was good, but signage was missing from most items and the staff forgot to lay out spoons for dressing, etc.

We love the bar at Standing O. We walked past a number of times and I would say that that looks like a nice little bar. Well, it is! We’ve actually been there three times for drinks. The bartender is great, they have a great beer selection, a TV on which to watch our great Philly teams, and the patrons, many of whom are out of towners, are so friendly! I don’t think we’ve ever eaten there (maybe someday we will. ) but other patrons we’ve spoken to say the food is great.

We got our cookies and then went up to an "executive floor" (25th fl) for a 2 Queen room with a view — which was just great! We enjoyed waking up to our wedge of the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location if you like the Arts!

Everything was great… the lady that checked me in was quick and informative. Ultra fast elevators, warm cookies and water for my honors membership, and nice decor. Matthew the bartender helped us make great choices and kept us happily spending too much money all evening and my corner view was spectacular. I didn't bring clothes to go out in but I found out there are a lot of very nice bars and clubs in walking distance. All worthy of a 5 rating. But the manager over the valet/ busmen that parked my car was rude to me. I asked them to park my car. The valet gave me price options but I stayed with my decision to have them park my Mercedes E450. Then the manager rushed over and repeated the prices twice like I couldn't afford it or he didn't want them to park my car. So I stated that I was already told the prices. His response was hover over me while I was still sitting with my door open, increase his voice and tell me not to get mad because he was just doing his job. So I just left it alone and unpacked my car with my co-worker. I'm not too comfortable with crazy responses. His defensiveness calls in to question his comfort level with black people. He's also pretty rude to his staff. If he behaves next time I'll raise my rating. But disrespect overwrites so much that is good.

I had a good stay at this Double Tree. The lobby was a little too bustling for my tired brain but it is in the heart of a busy city. The room was a little old but I had a really cool corner window with a neat view. I sat in the window all evening. In the morning I had breakfast there and it was pretty darn good. It felt safe and it was clean. I would stay here again.

Great location and clean comfortable room. Reception is really friendly. The room is big enough for me, and has great views. The lights are bright, which is easier for me to work inside the room. They do feature an executive lounge with great views. If you have access, go check it out!

Great location and very good price. Nice rooms with very comfortable bed. The street is very lively and noisy so if you have light sleep this is not the best place for you.

Rooms are good. They have good restaurant open until Midnight. Little expensive — $25 for a meal plus a non alcoholic drink. Parking is additional $30 overnight and one has to park on the building adjacent in the higher floors. Good views from the upper floors. Breakfast is good. Service is overall slow.

Cheap, good hotel. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast good but expensive. Staff nice and helped us well on a problem. If you want to stay in downtown Philadelphia and don't pay too much, then it's only recommended.

Beautiful room with a beautiful view. We stayed on the 26th floor. Hotel and restaurant staff were courteous and funny. Elevator is super fast. Chad and Elizabeth we're totally naked next door. Elizabeth has a nice body but she doesn't know how to pick out matching lingerie.

Excellent location! Right across the street from a Big Bus tour stop which allowed to buy tickets online a start the tour right at the hotel. Close to metro stop. Walkable distance to city hall, and many landmarks. Hotel rooms are good size, clean, decor is a little dated but acceptable. Indoor pool and roof deck is a plus to our stay. I would definitely recommend!

This was a very nice experience. We went for a special event and the check-in clerk was very gracious. He also upgraded our room and threw in breakfast. Climate control was very responsive. The beds were firm but comfortable. Very clean. Breakfast was fantastic. There omelette chef made me a perfect omelette, one that I will dream about for a long time.

Needed a room for a quick stay in Philly. Decided on the Double Tree & was very happy that I did. The hotel is in walking distance of many activities on Broad Street. The lobby was decorated for the holidays & set a festive and happy mood. The staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze with an upgrade to a room with a better view to make my daughter happy. The room was very clean and comfortable. Got a great night sleep and have this hotel on my list of favorites.

Good staff and good location. Bed was comfortable. The inside of the room was in need of upgrades but was clean. You could hear some city noise in the room but it didn't bother us as we are used to noise.

The bed was comfortable and had heating. There was nothing more good. Wi-Fi payment. The day of the check-out comes the cleaning person at 8 in the morning, knocks on the door and opens the room saying it was the day we had to leave. Incredible.

We stayed at the hotel overnight when we were seeing a show at the Kimmel Center. The location could not have been more convenient. There were so many places within walking distance. All of the staff members were very helpful and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and quiet considering its central location. The warm cookie at check in was delicious. If you have an event nearby or simply want to see the city, I'd highly recommend.

The room is nice, nothing fancy. The thermostat is a little wonky, it turns the AC on when it is 40 something outside and then turns the heater on. Our room is next to the elevators and it can be very noisy. I am disappointed about the breakfast that you get when you get an executive room. There are very limited options and on the weekends you better get there early because they run out of everything (plates, glasses, bowls, food, water, etc. ) Talked to guest services and they could not care less. Why pay extra then? The view from the room is terrific though.

Spent a night here for a college trip. Well within walking distance of many museums and dinning. Lobby is impressive. The rooms were decently sized that offered some great views. Staff was friendly. Would recommend.

I would have given then 2 stars, but management finally rectified one of our issues.
Issues:
1. Bathroom-in poor condition. Wallpaper coming off everywhere. Floor tiles cracked. Sink badly cracked in three places. Top of mirror, grout and door hinges filthy. Toilet seat broken.
2. It took three requests (one during registration and while on property) and a conversation with the manager to finally get extra pillows.
3. There are mystery stains on the desk chair and the "hair dryer" bag is filthy.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend this property.

The staff here are super friendly. Free airport shuttle makes this a great choice for travelers. Warm cookies on check in is a nice touch. Lost one star because the carpet in our room was stained and needs to either be deep cleaned or replaced.

Tough parking situation because it is CASH only unless you stay at the hotel. The food in lobby/bar restaurant was not to bad. Had nice selection. If you want to be in the action in Center City this hotel is a good choice.

Good service and friendliness are Given. Central location in east Side Manhattan Ny. In terms of New York conditions, the room rates are still reasonable.

We booked very early and had a great rate. Staff was friendly and helpful and even if they couldn't provide what we asked for, they didn't make me feel bad and tried their best. Room was big and clean, with a great location next to the City Hall, restaurants, etc. I would go back.

Conveniently placed hotel. You have to love the altitude because it has 26 floors. Otherwise it is clean and quiet. The welcome cookie was very good!

First we had a perfectly normal room, but the toilet would often not flush. Engineer came and replaced a part, which didn't fix it after 2 flushes. We called again the next morning, but no one showed up for at least an hour, at which point we left for the day. When we returned, the toilet flushed once and then resumed not working. After the second repair guy didn't fix it either, we called the front desk, and they said they'd send someone to move us, but didn't. When we went to the front desk, we were given some vouchers for breakfast and a bell cap went to the room and moved our stuff to a room he said was remodeled. It was different: the floor sloped, the huge windows were great but the shade on one wouldn't go up, the floor hadn't been vacuumed and wasn't for the whole 4 days, the sink was raised and messy, the shower had pink mold, the toilet roll holder was slightly broken and we could clearly hear everything next door. This was especially unfortunate, since it was a suite where they were preparing bridesmaids starting around 8AM and it sounded like a sorority party. There were 3 working elevators for 26 floors, so it was often a very long wait to find one that wasn't full. The bathroom in the executive lounge was dirty both days I went there but the water and coke was free, although sometimes all that was left was Diet Coke, no water. This SEEMED like a very nice hotel, but bed linens were stained and worn, and I had to fix my bottom sheet to cover the whole mattress.

Ask for a room on high floor. Warm cookies always make you feel welcome. Keyless entry makes it a cinch to get into room. There is a noise policy you must sign and while we didn't hear anything or may not be best place for light sleepers. Centrally located and easy to get everywhere.

I noticed the owner had responded to some of the reviews so I decided to write something. The first impression of the double tree was with Cristal at the front desk. She went way beyond the call of duty to help us. We had an Airbnb nightmare and she was able to fine us a great room at 11:30 pm. Stayed here for 4 days, 3 nights for our wedding which was also held at the DoubleTree. Rooms and the service are both really great — everyone is very helpful. We had 60+ rooms booked here and everything ran very smoothly. All of our guests also enjoyed their stay. Great location and great staff! My now husband and I had suites in the Suites on 5 section of the hotel. The rooms were great and very spacious. This section is located in a different area of the hotel and you need to have a special key to entire the area. This was nice so we didn't have guests knocking on our door every other minute. Was a bit difficult at (the very few) times when our vendors needed to be let up but overall definitely worth it!

Great, perfect. Nice view from the 17th floor. Swimming pool and gym. Restaurant on the ground floor, friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

The staff was friendly and accommodating! We received a free upgrade to a suite and enjoyed the breakfast buffet with our gold status. We were able to request a late check-out at 12:30 pm to enjoy our morning exploring the city. Highly recommend checking out this hotel for your stay in Philadelphia and definitely use their parking garage!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a suite which was well updated and had plenty of space. The suites are in a separate new building that is newer but they appeared to all have interior views to a courtyard. If you would like the view of the city I would not stay in that section. The buffet breakfast was delicious and well staffed.

The location of this hotel is fantastic! Its in the center of Philadelphia, everything is near, within a walking distance. The lobby was very beautiful, and all the areas of the hotel were extremly good. The staff was kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable, it had a TV, two beds, and a sofa. And also had a great view of the city. But I have one complaint. The hotel doesn't have free Wi-Fi, nowadays all hotels must have free Wi-Fi in all the areas. Here it was only free at the lobby.

So far the experience has been great. Decent clean rooms and the food/drinks at the bar were tasty. I would love a bigger, warmer pool and a hot tub though. :) :)

The room was very noisy (window to the street) and I couldn't sleep all night even If I put a pullow over my head. Unbelieveble but Wi-Fi internet was 9 dollars a day, the staff was rude and the overall impression I got from this hotel was that it's a overpriced place where employees don't care about the customers. Never again!

The hotel is very accessible by car, parking is easy. The daily parking fee was easily added to my room charge. Staff has been very helpful since my arrival. All my questions have been answered very quickly and politely. Front desk staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was kept clean, it was quiet except for loud hotel guests. Well, as quiet as it could be for Philadelphia. I would recommend staying here.

My family and I drove from Central California in the Fall of 2012 and stopped during our road trip at the Double Tree. We arrived to find that parking was in a standard parking garage, which would be problematic with our Thule case on the car's roof rack. The bellhops/valets offered to help me store the Thule case in my car so that we might be able to park in the garage. He then helped me unload all of the luggage and got a second bellhop to escort my family to our room (along with our free hot cookies). He then helped me successfully and carefully remove and then store the Thule car in my car. Our room was fairly large, with 2 queen beds, and had a fabulous view of the downtown Philly skyline. At night, this skyline received "Ooo's" and "Aaaa's" from us as a number of the surrounding buildings had colored and synchronized lights to illuminate their exteriors. We did have one toilet problem but the maintenance guy showed up fairly quick and dealt with the problem. Housekeeping stopped by shortly after to replace the towels we had use to address the issue. Being located so close to historic Philly was great, as we were able to see most everything we wanted easily. At our checkout, it was raining pretty good. A bellhop/valet offered to let us park under their check-in/drop-off area and to help re-mount our Thule case. Even when my wife ended up helping (at her offer), they allowed us to stay as long as needed while we brought our luggage down and repacked our entire car.

The hotel was nice and location was nice. It's hard to give this a 5 star rating compared to other hotels at the same price range. Room is oddly shaped because of the building design. Room service was fast and the food was good.

Hotel with no charm and bad location, to the west it's desolation, and to the east you have to walk at least 15mn before you reach the historic district.
The service is relatively "pro", the mechanics are well oiled, but the reception is of a rather extreme coldness.

Overall very nice. Room was clean. I would recommend and stay there again. Only thing… Front desk could have been nicer at checkin. But overall great hotel n perfect location!

Pros: The hotel in general is nice. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. If you get a room on a higher floor you will have a decent view. Cookies at the front desk are delicious. The catered food for events is amazing! Cons: The hotel Wi-Fi is extremely slow. Even the professional event Wi-Fi. The bar in the hotel is mediocre at best. I would recommend going out to find a better experience and a better price. Lower floor rooms may have a crappy view depending on the side of the building you're on.

Great service. They took care of everything and made my stay easy and pleasant. They also didn't charge me extra for being a bit late to check out, which is always nice. Room was very nice and clean.

I have not yet gotten the chance to stay in the hotel but we were so impressed by the wonderful hospitality offered by the hotel. I came from New York City for a weekend visit to Philadelphia. We stayed one block away from the hotel and our building had a fire evacuation right after midnight last Saturday. We went to Double Tree hotel to see if we can stay for a little while till the fire alarm is cleared. We went into the hotel and explained our situation; the night shift manager and front desk staff were very warm-hearted and courteous. They generously offered us to sit in the lobby or at the bar. We were very touched by their compassion and hospitality offered to strangers. We spent about 15 minutes sitting comfortably in hotel lobby and we were widely impressed by the comfortableness, the cleanness, and the elegant design of the hotel, especially the staff member and the manager’s kindness and sublime hospitality. We deeply believe that if we someday choose to stay in this hotel, we would have a great experience guaranteed by the high quality service reflected from the hotel manager and staff we met that night.

Unbeatable location, friendly staff, very good facilities. It feels a bit when it passes the subway to Broad Street but nothing that bothers. No I removed a star because they do not offer Wi-Fi free.

Yet another great experience with a Hilton property. I just checked out after a couple day stay. From Peter the door man to Aldene, Dameyrus and Crystal at the front desk, the message was loud and clear. Customer service first. I had a bit of a hiccup with housekeeping (otherwise it would have been 5 stars) and it was addressed, promptly by all parties involved with the most pleasant attitude. Thanks Doubletree, hope to see you again in the spring!

Checked in and was told there will be a $50.00 a day incidental charge, we were not told this when I made the reservations with Doubletree's operator. BEWARE! The woman at the front desk had a serious attitude and was not friendly nor cracked a smile. Our room was very nice on the top floor facing South Broad St. But, every night we heard people and cars racing by until 3:00am in the morning. A few positive things the hotel was clean, the doorman was very nice, the lady at the information desk was very pleasant and helpful, we were able to check in a little earlier then 4pm and the location (downtown area) was great. I guess the good out weighed the bad. I still would reconsider going back.

One of the best places I've been stranded while traveling! Room was nice, breakfast was delicious and plentiful, decor was classy, nice view of the city, and service from everyone was very helpful on all fronts. I'd stay here again, even by my own choice next time!

Everyone of the Double Tree staff members were bright and cheerful. Even though it was dreadfully cold outside the valet attendants smile never wavered. -The room was clean and quiet. — building is located within walking distance of many of the sites and well known places to eat. We will stay here again.

Great room and amazing view. Pre-theater appetizers in the room were wonderful. Breakfast on the balcony was yummy, so many fresh selections. Wait staff of Standing O need more training — not impressed with food or service there. Overall, great clerks, bellman, valet, inroom service… they were all friendly amd knowledgable. Will def stay here again, just won't eat at Standing O.

Great room! Clean, gorgeous view and wonderful staff & service. The Standing O was not too good, neither food or service won't go there again. The Breakfast on the Balcony was scrumdeliumptious! Made to order omlets, and yummy yummy goodness.

Location is great, it is very close to a lot of fun places to see. Upon checking in they gave me a free warm cookie and the Christmas decorations were pretty. The room is pretty standard 2 bedroom but the TV is pretty small. Also there is no microwave which kind of sucks but it has a good sized fridge. The gym is pretty decent, lots of cardio equipment and free weights. There is a pool but I haven't come back to the hotel at a time where I could check it out. Not sure what times it is open. All in all a nice stay.

Great hotel if you're staying in Philadelphia and want a hotel in the center of the action. This Doubletree is in city center and if you stay on one of the top floors, it's a great view of City Hall and the historic buildings of the city. It's also an easy walk to tons of restaurants, bars, and shopping. The hotel rooms are clean and big, but my favorite part of any Doubletree Hotel is the free chocolate chip cookie they give you when you check in (The secret is that they give you one any time you ask so I had 5 during my one night stay). So amazing! The staff here are also very helpful. Warning: Parking can be pricey here, but the cheapest option we found within walking distance was Latimer Garage.

Great location — in the center of center city! My family stayed here for running there philly marathon. We booked the room relatively last minute (we were going tostay in another hotel but the hotel is apparently closing? ) But it turned out to be a good thing! The double tree staff were soo accommodating and friendly. We were supposed to check out by 10 but we didn't realize and went to brunch after our race. They were rotationally fine with it and let us stay until 1 so that we'd have time to shower! Definitely coming back next time we're in philly.

We visited the city over Labor Day weekend for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The Hotel staff and rooms were fantastic, and the folks at the concierge desk were more than helpful. Thanks to them, we enjoyed several wonderful meals and found it easy to access the city. We'll be back!

The room was a little smaller than anticipated, but it was modern and clean. I believe each room is made to feel like a corner room which is unique. Location is good too — it is surrounded by great restaurants and is only about a 15-20 minute walk from Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. The lobby was gorgeous. I would stay here again. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because this hotel does not include free Wi-Fi. When I called the front desk to ask about it, they were rude and condescending as if I was an idiot for thinking Wi-Fi would ever be free. I believe it is only an additional $10 per night however.

We were staying for a friend who was getting married. The staff working at the wedding and reception were fantastic. However our treatment at the front desk is the worst of any hotel I've been to. The first receptionist we spoke with asked for the reservation name and then immediately began talking to the employee next to her. There appeared to be an ongoing argument between a customer and the other employee. They chatted for a few minutes and then switched customers without a word to us. The next employee again asked for the reservation name and as I was speaking answered the phone and spoke with the other customer for another couple minutes. We were then asked for the name for a third time and the employee once again started talking to the employee next to her for several minutes. She then demanded an id and proof of payment because our reservation had still not been looked up. We told her we were there for a wedding and she was annoyed we didn't know the location already. There was no welcome or pleasant interactions. It gave us a terrible first impression. We also found out later there was supposed to be a gift bag given to all guests which we never recieved. We asked about it the next morning and were told they'd all been given out. This hotel was great for the wedding, but I will likely never stay here again due to our treatment we recieved from the other hotel staff.

Overall it was a good stay. I was staying on business and the staff were very helpful and made me feel like I could ask them anything. They also knew the area well and gave me great advice for places to go. The room was well air conditioned. Lots of towels. Very comfy bed. HBO, ESPN, etc. But, no Wi-Fi. There was a well-used feeling about it. And there were some stains here and there that bugged me. They also put me next to the elevator. It wasn't too loud, but I felt like people were outside the door. Overall, it gets a "just okay" rating.

This was my second visit to this hotel. Location is perfect, staff very pleasant and the rate for this class of hotel was great. Hopefully I will be back next year.

Beautiful Hotel Very well located.

We booked this hotel through a third party website. The check-in staff treated us as though we were no different from the full priced guests. We called ahead and requested a pack n play for our infant daughter. To our surprise, it was waiting for us in our room when we arrived. Additionally, our room location couldn't have been more perfect. It was extremely spacious for a typical hotel room and on the corner with beautiful views of Broad Street. We were very pleased with the staff, cleanliness and location. Fantastic stay.

The executive room is very good, though it needs to be refurbished, as it os visible that it is old especially on the ceiling and in the bathroom. The breakfast in the executive room is really modest. The bed is excellent I slept like a baby.

Everyone has been so kind and helpful. I travel alot and the staff here are top notch.

I was at the double tree at Christmas 2014. Nice stay and beautiful hotel, clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. A nice place that I recommend to everyone.

Everyone was so friendly; we LOVED MONA I will come back to visit just to see her. She is fantastic! Heart of gold.

Best part about the DoubleTree is the location, the rooms are decent for the price. I think for a Friday night it was $90. They accidentally charged me $42 for parking (instead of the guest rate of $25) but it was later corrected by management.

Everything is really great except for the internet, which is atrocious even if you pay the exorbitant fee of $10 per day. Without paying, there is no internet in the rooms, only a half-decent wi fi in the lobby and mezzanine. Great location for shopping, breakfast was good, rooms were good too, but service was just like any other american hotel.

Location is perfect Bad service I talked to the room service I wanted a coke drink they laugh and they told me that we thought u said cock And the staff just charged me 600$ for two nights I Don't know y Place is perfect but staff is worst Again i'll try motel 6 better than them (as staff).

The location is perfect. The rooms spacious. Service friendly. The internet is not up to it though. Kept losing it the whole time and it was slooooooooow. The breakfast was not that great either.

Stayed here for the Nov-2014 Philadelphia Marathon. Walking distance to the historic sights, the race expo and start/finish line. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here in the future when we have more time to sightsee. Extremely close to all the theaters and tons of restaurants within easy walking distance. Concierge was very helpful with last minute dinner reservations on a busy Saturday night. Room had a great view of City Hall lit up at night. Easy access to I95 going and coming. Self parking in the garage was a bit of a pain but workable.

Annoyingly slow and spoty WI-Fi. Missed some spots in preparing my room, some things were left unleaned.
