I almost never write a review. So that should tell you how bad this is. Mold in the bathroom, whole 3rd floor had a nasty smell, there were numerous spots where the wall was bubbled out from being wet and not taken care of, both my husband and I had to rewash our feet after we took a shower, thats how dirty the floor was. The pillows on the bed were about a foot by a foot, the AC kept shutting off throughout the night. The breakfast was a joke offering grilled cheese! When checking in the asked last name, and basically threw our room keys to us and didnt even tell us what room number or where to go. When we spoke to the manager all he said was sorry. Never got a bill to know what we were charged for that horrific stay. stay away from here!

Worked out perfectly for my fam. Close to the 309 and the turnpike. Good breakfast. Down to the airport in no time.

Our 11 day stay at Best Western Ft Washington was among the best holidays we have had in our years of travel. Thanks to the staff, friendly and efficient, we almost felt that we were at home, even the bed was close to what we cherish. Especially, we want to thank the desk staff and services that made our stay flawless. Very Special THANKS to Harry in the breakfast room who made every guest feel so welcome, and who maintained the breakfast venue as clean and well managed as any in our experience… Thanks Harry!

Great bed super Tv. Love staying there. Harry runs a great breakfast. The motel is very clean.

It was nice enough and clean but changed had been made and we weren't notified. Reserved a smoking room and it had changed a week earlier to no smoking. We asked for a room that no pets had been in and they gave us one so we had to change rooms. Not bad for the price though.

Ravi the general manager checked me in. He was sulky and bland. He was not very welcoming, he didn't even crack a smile. I felt as if I was keeping him from something more important that he had to do. The hotel interior was acceptable, but the hallways had a funky under-smell like decay. I think they were aware of this because there was some kind of air freshener coming from the vent system but you could still smell the stink under the air freshener. My room was reasonably clean, but the bathroom has some mildew in the corners, and the tub look as if it had not been cleaned. The cleanliness of the room itself required some attention to detail, but overall you could tell that it had been cleaned to some extent. The hot water was really hot… and that was great. There was ample parking, and if you were lucky you could park your car in a space under the hotel rooms out of the sun. That was a nice perk but be aware that the ceiling was so low that I could not open the trunk of my full size Dodge SUV. It's pretty quiet there at night no disturbances. The best part of my visit was Harry, the man who operated the dining area. Harry has excellent customer service skills. He was attentive, helpful, friendly, and a decent cook. He kept the breakfast area fully stocked and reasonably clean even with a steady flow of guests in and out throughout the breakfast period. You could tell that Harry enjoyed what he was doing and that he liked people. I was impressed with his service.

I stayed there the night before my wedding and the night of. I got in around 3a the first night and everything was fine. Other members of my wedding party had issues with cleanliness and cigarette smoke, but I was fine. When I came back it appeared that no one cleaned the room. I had no new or extra washcloths for my husband and I. No new towels, the hand towel that was left was damp as if it was the one I had used that morning and there was a hair (not mine or his) in the full size towel we had in the bathroom.

I ask for honey for my coffee, the attendee not able to understand or speak English gave me honey BBQ sauce. I pd no attention when I saw the contents come out a dark brown I ask the attendee to let me read the bottle contents he refused to let me read it. I talked with gestures and he let me read the lable. I pointed to him that it was BBQ sauce he did not understand. But I had discarded the cup of coffee And poured a fresh cup and drank it black. The rest of the breakfast was automated and fine.

Horrible. Room was dirty and below standard. Also put me in a non-smoking room next to the smoking wing? The second hand smoke was unbearable. It penetrated room from under the door. I complained immediately, and they told me to complain to the manager in the morning without offering a change of room. The next morning I complained again. The man at the desk said the manager would contact me about adjusting my bill. As expected no one contacted me. I paid full price and suffered the allergic affects for two days. My advice — Avoid this pit!

Complimentary breakfast — limited but ok for something quick and easy. Bed was comfortable! (King size) Quiet area. Safe in room which was great! (Overseas Traveller)

Good value for the money. The check in person was very polite and helpful. The hotel was pretty quiet. The decor is a little old but the place is well kept up. The Wi-Fi is free.

This seems to be our go to place when in the area with a dog. B/W Fort Washington is always clean, cared for and in good repair. The staff is always helpful and courteous. The price is always competitive and reasonable. We have stayed here several times in the past and will not hesitate to return if the occasion arises.

The hotel is nice, clean, and seems to be in a really safe neighborhood. There was plenty of room. My only complaints that I have, is that I had a non smoking room, but it was across the hall from a smoking room. I couldn't smell smoke in my room, but could once you exited the room and in the hallway. The other issue that I had was I had a reservation for 4 people, but the room only supplied me with 3 towels. Other than that, it was a nice hotel to stay at.

Easily accessible from the highway Clean room Harry the breakfast guy was awesome and very patient with me as I didn't know how to operate things! Really enjoyed the whirlpool however they need to make the shutoff for the jets closer.

My favorite part about this hotel is the staff. They are amazing. My church had service here every Sunday, but I have also had the opportunity to stay as a guest. The hotel is dog friendly, so you’ll see a lot of pooches around. The lobby is nice with ample seating. There are 3 computers and a printer for guests. Wi-Fi is complimentary as well. There is complimentary continental breakfast each morning until 9:30 or 10. Harry, who manages the breakfast, is the absolute sweetest, most service-oriented person you’ll find anywhere. The room I stayed in was a suite with 2 double beds and a sofa bed. Plenty of space for my friend, myself, and our 2 daughters. There’s a table, coffee table, desk, fridge, microwave, and 2 televisions. The pool is outdoor, so it’s open between Memorial and Labor Day and closed at night. The pool was not open during our stay.

I gave a 4 star rating because 4-1/2 wasn't available. The room was well worth what I paid for it. The bed was very comfortable, the air was fresh, the room was clean and comfortably furnished. I didn't like the loud noise from the fan when the bathroom light was turned on and toilet was too close to the sink. The toilet-paper roll was attached beneath the sink and I kept knocking it off because of that. In all I'd definitely would stay there again and recommend it to all.

Nice hotel in a good location. Room was comfortable and clean. Everything worked and was changed daily. Staff seemed nice as I didn't interact with them much. Only issue was the variety available for breakfast items. But much better than continental available at most hotels.

Stayed two nights at the Best Western in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Room was spotless and roomy. Clean shower, although the toilet was a little low for me, I prefer the 'comfort height' toilets. Staff were friendly, courteous and friendly — all you had to do was ask. Breakfast was the best! Included with the regular bread / cereal / fresh fruit / juice / coffee / tea were fresh yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage — truly a great meal. I definitely recommend this Best Western.

We stayed for one night. The room and hallways did not smell good. Room was clean for the most part but old and dingey — — just saw several reviews that indicated cockroaches which is frightening but we did not see any. Staff seemed short and slow. The breakfast was extremely cheap and low quality. It snowed and they didn't even plow the parking lot and entrance. Cheap cheap cheap.

We stayed in the BW in Fort Washington, PA, over all had a great stay. The hotel was very clean and well taken care of inside and outside. The front desk was super nice and helpful all around. The room was spacious, nice clean, the bed especially was very comfy. I honestly didn't expect it to be this size. We had a king size room. Nice breakfast everyday 6:30-9:30, coffee, eggs, make your own pancakes, yogurts, cereals, nice spread. They also have an all night snack bar and water, sodas.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here. Cockroaches in the room. Beds are horrible. Stench in hallway. Asked for pillows 4 times over 2 days and didn't get any. Ran out of toilet paper in the room and don't get more. This was my worst hotel experience ever. Avoid at all costs! Oh and to apologize the manager took $50 off our 3 night stay. Seriously… that's like a slap in the face saying you don't care!

The front desk was very friendly and got us checked in pretty quickly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy! The water pressure in the shower was amazing. All in all it was a great stay and we will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Check in was easy as we had reserved a room online before hand. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a room next to the fitness center so our stay was nice and quiet. Not a lot of hallway sounds to wake you up. Loved that guest laundry was on-site. We needed to do a small load of laundry and were able to purchase a $1 box of laundry detergent at the small pantry area conveniently located next to the front desk and do a quick load of laundry before getting back on the road in the morning. Overall, a very nice experience and good deal for your money!

Excellent location off of highway in an industrial/commercial area. Stayed one night. Checked in at 11:30 PM and took at least 20 minutes. Clerk never explained why. Had 2 gift cards and apparently he was having trouble applying. Then when asked to check rate realized only 1 was applied. All was reflected correctly at check out. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Found used wash cloth over shower rack. Signs of poorly cleaned, or mildew in shower. I would not have been happy if I had to pay full price, although reasonable, in light of the overall experience.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. Colin helped us when we checked in, and gave us some helpful tips, such as the restaurant that's located on the premise. Harry helped me with breakfast! He helped me make the pancakes (because I had no idea what I was doing) and he even gave me a box to help me out my plates in to carry it up to my family. He pressed the button for the elevator too! My entire experience was amazing.

Rooms were pretty clean. They appeared to have updated it not too long ago. Staff was nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the free breakfast. Very similar to Holiday Inn Express free breakfast. The room had a bit of a musty odor to it. Not terrible but it was the smell of an older building. I'd stay again if on a budget. If I had some extra cash I'd pick something else.

This was my second stay at this Best Western. The first time. Was a disaster with unpleasant front desk staff, smelly room, refrigerator didn't work, noisy A/C. After I gave them a lousy review on Google, the manager said she would see to it that my next stay was better. Well, she wasn't available when I made this reservation, and This time was worse than the first. I tried reserving on line, but the app wasn't accepting my PW, so called customer service and wanted to get a nonsmoking room for the cheaper reward price. Was informed the only room available for that price was a smoking room. Well, no thank you, then it was suggested for 20 bucks more I could have a room with a Jacuzzi, so heck yeah. After a long hard day doing business in the area that'd be great. Well, I make the reservation, work all day, get back to the motel at 9 pm. Ask the front desk guy (who incidentally was the best person, ive run into at this hotel) for a good place that had delivery, since the onsite Subway closes at 6:30pm on a Saturday. He recommended Luciana's. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! After waiting an hour, I cal, and the obnoxious son of a… said they hadn't even started making my order. I could understand, my order was complex and difficult, I ordered a club sandwich with no lettuce, probably threw them for a loop. So, after an hour and a half of waiting, I went downstairs told the front desk guy my problem.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Fort Washington Inn we had one of the jacuzzi suites. The Jacuzzi had a few cracks on it but we had fun. After looking around the room for a little bit you could see wires sticking out of the walls where they should not and one of the closet doors was off track. Other than that, the room was clean, my stay was pleasant, it did look beautiful when we walked in. I don't know, maybe it's because I am familiar with remodeling I may have seen the little things that wouldn't have made a difference to others, like the details of the structure, but our stay was pleasant. Now I must say, there was a restaurant in the hotel, Palace of Asia Indian Restaurant. The food was delicious. We are strict vegetarians but the menu was super. The dishes we had you could taste the details of all the ingredients. And the appetizers! We had two orders of those appetizers the next day. They were so delicious! if you're looking for somewhere to just hang out and relax and enjoy a weekend, although there is not many attractions in the area, this is the hotel for you. You can relax and let your hair down and truly unwind — it is a good place to go. Go to the restaurant the food was really really delicious. I would give the restaurant a 5-star if I had a rating for it.

Very pleased with this hotel. We stayed for 4 days. A The check in guy was a little douchey, but every other staff memeber was awesome. The housekeeping lady was super sweet, the other people at the counter were very friendly and helpful but we especially liked Harry who runs the breakfast. He was so nice, so helpful, l, I've never seen anyone work so hard. As people got up he cleaned the table and the seats. Such a great guy!

We had a very pleasant stay. The room and the areas we were in were clean and fresh smelling. The location is convenient with easy on and off the PA turnpike. There is a Restaurant and a Subway located on property and staff was very friendly. My kids were comfortable and enjoyed the stay as well. We will be staying at this location again!

Good location, good service, decent breakfast.

OK staff was only there overnight and it was a good place to stay … pretty cheap compared to others in the area.

Stayed for three nights over thanksgiving. My husband and niece (who do not share a residence) woke up with bedbug bites. We asked for the manager to come up to the room. He did not speak with us. He comped the room but then wanted to charge us for the last night for the new room. He then told the front desk staff that the multiple bites (as many as 25 on my husband) was due to fleas from our pet. My husband and niece both saw two different dermatologists the day after we returned (Michigan and New Jersey). Both dermatologists confirmed bed bug reactions. Not even worthy of one star.

Great location. Place was immaculate. Rooms were gorgeous. Beautiful decor in lobby. Experience was superb. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

I did not really enjoy this hotel. The biggest problem was that I didn't realize there were smoking rooms. In my state there is no such thing. The room smelled horrible. Additionally the room wasn't cleaned efficiently and the bathroom floor was sticky. Fortunately the second night we were able to be placed in another room and my stay was improved. I guess you get what you pay for.

Nice rooms for a decent rate. In a nice and quiet location. Bed was comfortable, and the rooms and lobby were both quite clean. A complimentary hot breakfast with eggs and sausage or bacon makes for a great start to the day. A few minor details, such as a very faint cigarette smell in some hallway and stairwell areas, but quite minor quips. I would recommend this as a place to stay for a few days or passing through.

Our stay was not the best. Broken toilets, broken coffee makers, no hot water, and a gas leak. Spoke to manager who took a whole $5 off our three night stay. Judy was passive-aggressive and acted like our 7 room reservation was not important. Guess if we had more rooms she might have been more helpful. She says she will talk to the owner, but I am not holding my breath. Best Western Corporate says it is not their problem and they can't help. Lesson learned. Never stay at a Best Western, especially not this one!

OK place to stay. Was given a room that didn't look clean and was upgraded. You also get breakfast wish they had a more varied selection but tasted good.

My stay at the Best Western Fort Washington Inn was a great experience because I was able to workout at the gym also eat breakfast in the morning. I believe the rules are good for a group stay and the bathrooms were also divided beautifully the location in which I love has a beautiful view! All in all the service at Best Western Fort Washington was great because I was able to call in request for an item for.

Miss this place, every Wednesday through Friday this was my home away from home. I usually got the same room every time. I never had a smelly room. I would love to go back sometime.

Very dirty carpets. Bottom of my feet turned black after being in the room a short while. No towels in the bathroom upon check-in. Lamps in the room did not turn on. Funky smell in the hallway of a non-smoking floor. Overpriced. Disgusting. Will NEVER return or recommend!

Located in industrial area, carpet was filthy. My grandson walked around barefoot, before we realized it. His feet were black. The soles of my slippers were also black. This hotel is mediocre, at best. Powdered eggs at breakfast. I will never stay at a Best Western facility again.

The breakfast is pretty decent. It's better than most free breakfast I go to. There's eggs sausage, pancakes milk and fresh bananas and yogurt. Worth the money to me.

The hotel was dirty and run down first clue to get out was when we arrived and police where in the front. Never staying here again.

Very nice clean hotel. Towels could have been fluffier. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Hostess continued to put fresh bakery items, eggs and bacon out as soon as items were taken. Stayed here while attending the dad vail regatta. Would definitely stay here again next year during the regatta.

We were pleasantly surprised. We stayed for a week in a Non smoking room with a King size bed. The room was big, clean and pleasantly scented. The refrigerator and microwave were functional and the bed quite comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good although we had it once only. The staff was friendly and competent. Check in and out was seamless and reservation was simple and straightforward. All in all it was a very calm and comfortable experience. No hassles or problems whatsoever. Can't beat it for the price.

Clean, quiet, no issues with any amenities, though low guest count so it probably wasn't difficult. Subway located in same parking lot along with restaurant. Easy on/off highways. Only 1 night, but will be using again, so will update review.

I will not be coming back to this place again. It appears to have a lot of long term residents living there. Housekeeping is poor and this was one of the worst places I've stayed at. There were dozens of hairs in my bed, loud rattling bathroom fan, broken desk chair, dirty carpets etc etc. I was even able to write in the dust on the furniture. We got in very late and I didn't want to go looking for another hotel but I should have since I was awake half the night worrying about bugs.

This was a weird place. I stayed there 3 nights (Wednesday — Saturday), the so called "high-speed" internet was so slow I ended up spending every night working at the local Starbucks. I tested the speed using the SpeedTest app on my phone and it was 0.1MB download but 3.5MB upload. The room smelled like someone spilled a container of flowery perfume in it. It was overpowering each night I returned. The room itself was a bit run down. There was a lamp on either side of the bed but neither worked. I even tried changing the bulbs, but it was the outlets they were plugged into — both (all four actually) were dead. The breakfast looked ok, but I never had time to sit down and try it. The elevator was ultra slow, so I took the stairs to my 2nd floor room and the stairwell was filthy. It was only about $80/night but I don't think I can recommend it even if cost is the driver for your decision.

There were several broken items in room. Refrigerator, desk chair. Bathroom thermostat, toilet seat was chipped and bathroom fan was falling out of ceiling. Worst of all the room smelled like a DC cab on a hot summer day.

Nice hotel. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, nice breakfast, well situated: to be recommended.
