I will appreciate the renovations as the gym was very nice. The cleaning ladies were kind and breakfast was good. Although I'm not entirely sure how a hotel can run without hot water. Plus the shower flooded our room and we had to mop it up with towels like hurricane Sandy. Our card was deactivated when I returned my second day to the room. Causing an inconvenient stop to the unmonitored front desk. Please work on safety or put a lock in the elevator that our keys utilize. Fix the water system and I might come back.

Great newly refurbished hotel.

This is our First time Staying with HIE, and the Host was very nice and knowledgeable. Gave us very good prices on room, excellent breakfast staff is very helpful I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

All of the things within control of the hotel staff were great. The second floor is currently under renovation which takes up a lot of the parking but they do their best to stay out of the way. One small criticism that several people I was traveling with noticed is the new design of the showers. They are sliding glass doors, but only the side furthest from the shower head moves. Since the water pressure is excellent, you're forced to get hit with a blast of cold water to turn it on.

Awful service. Showed up to find our reservation had been ‘lost’ in between the booking website and hotel. An hour later and 3 phone calls we got ‘pushed through’ and put into a room with fresh paint still drying. Would have just booked at another close by hotel if the staff had been straight forward and honest.

Exactly what you'd expect from the name. Affordable and comfortable, it'll do just fine if you're in the area and are spending the night. The breakfast wasn't bad either.

This hotel looks brand new! I was surprised when we checked in because of the extremely affordable price. Staff was so pleasant and quick at check-in. Location is great! It's in the center of a busy shopping area with PLENTY of options to walk and/or drive to for just about anything. Yet, when you are actually at the hotel, it doesn't really feel like you're in such a busy spot; it feels tucked away somehow and amply private. Access to many local highways just a couple lights down the road. I will definitely keep this place in mind next time I am booking a room, and so should you!

I want to start by saying that with all of the cons I will list, the hotel room was generally clean. With that being said, it is very run down. The mattresses feel like that of a fold out couch. The windows are old and look permanently dirty. No matter what room you stay in, it smells like smoke. The carpet is peeling away from the walls. The lobby looks clean but out dated (most of the hotel does in fact). My allergies became so bad anytime I was in the hotel I had to buy nasel spray just to breath at night to sleep. The hallway carpets are heavily stained. The doors to the rooms look as if they have been painted three times all with different shades of green. I am not giving 1 star because of the following. Even after checking for bugs in my room none were found. I didn't see any around the hotel at all. The staff was pleasant and friendly. Lastly they are currently working on remodels. (As of 5/2018) With that being said, they have room for improvement, but as the hotel stands right now, it is NOT worth the money. I only stayed my full reserved time because almost all of the hotels nearby were fully booked.

The hotel is located in a very commercial area, so there are plenty of restaurants and stores nnearby. Theoms are comfortable and the staff is nice. Included breakfast options are limited, but it's still pretty convenient.

The bedroom was clean and the staff was courteous. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest, but acceptable. Breakfast was good. Overall the stay was pleasant and I'd stay there again.

The beds where pretty good. I liked the bathroom it was packed with the essential things.

Its an average hotel, clean and friendly staff. But security wise they are lacking. My card didn't work so I went down to the front desk and told them it didn't work. The employee took my card ask the room number and reactivated it. Never asked my name, or looked anything up, just took my word for it on the room number and handed it back. Little creepy that someone could do that and never be checked.

You get a clean room at a very reasonable price. It's very conveniently located near stores and restaurants.

It was under construction so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt, it should have been a 1 star. The employees were nice.

Good reasonably priced lodging. Bed was comfortable and room clean. Only real complaint is the lack of ability to fully darken the room. Drapes are for show only and cannot be closed. Sheer curtains in the middle did not cut much of the bright light poring in from parking light poles and building highlights. I felt like I was trapped in the movie "Insomnia". Staff was courteous and very helpful.

Hotel room was nice but didn't care for complimentary breakfast buffet.

I stay in hotel's 4 night's a week for my job. I would definitely stay again.

Finally finishing up renovations. Reasonable rates, good breakfast, and a small park out the back you can walk to.

Clean hotel, nice rooms, good breakfast. Easy to get to, located to many shops and restaurants.

It is an excellent place to rest and a good service.

My choice for hotel in the area hands down, super nice staff, extra clean and comfy rooms. Never a complaint while their guest. :)

Decent value for the money. Certainly nothing special but clean and good location. I really didn't like the mattress though.

We always stay here and it’s ok, nothing great, definitely not worth the price you pay but it’s ok… I mean in 2017 to have a room with a fridge but no microwave makes no sense and every room I get the AC never works but like I said it’s ok, I’ve stayed in worse.

We were here for a wedding. The staff assured all those who had reservations and were trying to check in at 4 pm that when we returned at 11 pm from the reception, their rooms would be ready. We came back and there were no rooms clean, not even for the bride and groom. A shame and a terrible experience. Besides all this, the room we stayed in was not exceptionally clean. They overtly lied. Stay somewhere else.

I am extremely dissatisfied in the service at this establishment. My family is part of a 50+ member wedding party with a reserved wedding block that was turned away at midnight because they were not able to provide the staff to clean our rooms, INCLUDING the suite for the bride and groom. Save yourself a headache and do NOT make the mistake of doing business with these people they will cancel your reservations as they did with us without any notice.

Fairly clean hotel but there was no hot water in the shower. The front desk didn’t answer the 4 times I called down to let them know. I got through to the manager’s number, but no one came up to check on it. I called about an hour later and they still didn’t send anyone up. I was told the manger would be told about it.

Checked in and it said queen size beds. These are full size beds. Just a heads up. They will not sleep two comfortable. Hotel is kind of dated.

Good hotel. Great location. Clean albeit a little dated in some areas. Nice employees. Flatscreen TVs actually get HD signal. I haven't used it yet but I see a lot of wireless access points so internet should hopefully be decent. Would definitely stay again.

Staff was nice and friendly. Room was somewhat small. Bedroom headboard, was a bit dirty, with some stains. And the shower curtain had some stains near the top of curtain. But location was a reasonable distance to Westchester.

The hotel is well located, twenty minutes away from the facility I was here to visit. The only problem is that traffic for on Philadelphia to exton gets very bad and there are no highways, so regardless of how close it is, is still a one hour drive. There are a lot of different stores and restaurants whiting walking distance though, including clothing, musical instruments, videogames, and supermarkets, so it is comfortable to know that even given the traffic, it would hardly be an inconvenience. The parking lot is very small though, and there are often trailers parked that will take up to 6 spaces or more, will may be a nuisance, since there are no back doors, so if you park in the back it will by a 300 feet walk to the front door. The installations themselves are old but comfy. My room had a refrigerator but no microwave, which nearly defeated the purpose… The sink and shower were nearly clogged with tartar, which was also an inconvenience because water would just flow in three separate streams, one of which would point towards the pants. Internet speed is acceptable, and the walls must be thick enough, since I hardly heard anything from my neighbours, which is always the best case. The air conditioning was also very silent, and the bed was comfortable, which all made for a pretty good night of sleep. Overall a pleasant stay, although it could use some maintenance.

I've just checked in for my weekend, I was early, I was on a red eye and I have a broken foot… Not only did the front desk person empathize with me, but the housekeeping manager finished a room for me to get my foot up. I can't even express how thankful I am. I didn't expect to be checked in early, and just needed a place to get my foot up. I could smell breakfast, but didn't walk over to get any. It did smell delish. Thank you so much for helping me and giving me a place to relax.

The free breakfast was spectacular. Generous seating. Comfortable rooms with clean linen. On the downside no fridge was included for a basic room.

Not bad, Wi-Fi is OK and bed is comfy. The best part of the stay was the free breakfast that is in the lobby.

Great hotel, shuttle willing to take you around nearly anywhere, rooms are nice, not massive but not tiny either, service is great, breakfast however lacks slightly.

They STOLE MY SEPHORA MAKE-UP! DO NOT STAY HERE! House keeping meddled with my luggage. The showers did not work correctly and could not provide hot water for more than 10 minutes. The service was awful. Breakfast was terrible with limited choices and I had to constantly keep asking for the pancake machine to be fixed because its the only thing decent. The shuttle drivers barely speak english so they didnt understand how to navagate and he cannot drive safely, also when we scheduled to be picked up HE NEVER CAME. Yes there are stores and a mall nearby but It was awful, there was barely anything to like about it. Dont waste your time and effort and money.

Worst experience in my life, never wish this on anybody. Rooms are extremely dirty. Woke up to bed bugs literally eating away on my flesh, if you are reading this please look else where! Will be traumatized for the rest of my life due to this experience.

While a bit far from the Turnpike, it was a welcome stop. I used an app to book the room five minutes before arriving and when I pulled in they were ready for me to check in. Standard HIE, no surprises.
