Wonderful views, great staff, walking distance to ferry from Weehawken, N. J. To West 39th & 12th, Manhattan.

AVOID THIS HOTEL and it’s crappy management unless you want to be stranded with a “confirmed reservation” but NO ROOM! Ask the 20+ guests stranded in lobby at midnight on Nov. 13 Apparently, you can check in, but “no room is available” when you actually want to stay there. And don’t expect them to help you solve the problem. You’ll be on your own!

In my opinion this is the best place to stay if traveling to see New York! Celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with our first trip to see this place! And was everything and more! Than what we expected! Super friendly and helpful staff! Helping with bud info and more! 100% recommend the Sheraton Lincoln harbour.

Do NOT book and stay here if you have a gift card. Absolutely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful front end staff who LIE to corporate when a complaint is made. Both the front end clerk and the “supervisor” treated us as an inconvenience. And still we have not had a resolution over a week later while trying to deal with customer service. We were told when booking we could use a gift card, were told the same when we checked in, and then when we check out, were told our credit card was charged and we were unable to use our gift card.
Kathryn, the shift supervisor, came out of her office when we asked to speak to someone in charge, and she couldn’t even have the courtesy to speak to us or help us figure this out. The representative checking us out, told her that she “wanted to be done with us. ” When we have been dealing with customer service Kathryn lied saying we had a visa gift card which I EXPLICITLY stated was a hotel gift card. I am so disappointed in how we were treated and absolutely am disgusted that this ruined our trip. And here we are, as I said, waiting to have this settled OVER a week later-with no real end in sight.
ALSO, no hot water in your room in the dead of winter is an excellent way to keep and maintain customers who have been out walking in the cold all day. I would avoid this place at all costs. And I will never ever stay at another Sheraton.

The Sheraton is a great location with a beautiful view of Manhattan. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. It has an indoor pool and fitness center. I look forward to a little exploring of the area during my stay and enjoying the amenities.

Seems less is more in a four star hotel. No fridge (rental available for $25! ), no free Wi-Fi, no breakfast (yet there is an upcharge for extra people). I was surprised there was no fee to use the pool (which had no hot tub). Bath soap smelled nice!

Overall very disappointing. Majority of staff encountered seemed to care less if you were having a good stay. Room service would not serve me in my room unless I paid the buffet price of $23. Utterly ridiculous. No plug near bed so climbed under nightstand to plug in. I forgot my brand new iPhone charger under the table and called a few hours after I checked out to have them send to me and they denied it was there. Obviously must be an easy sale for staff. Two of staff were wonderful but the bad sadly outweighed the service of 4 days there for family wedding.

All staff, EXCEPT SOME YOUNG ARROGANT UPSTARTS AT FRONT DESK, were totally wonderful and provided excellent service. Front desk staff needs to either get a different job, or undergo major retraining.

My housekeeper on the fourth floor was awesome I had an exceptionally clean room. Will definitely be going back.

I was there for a social event. The room was updated and modern with great views of NYC skyline. I would definitely attend another social event there.

The suite is quite roomy with king size bed inside the bedroom and a queen size sofa bed in the outer room. Bedding for the sofa bed must be requested. Other than the sofa, only one chair is available si seating is limited. We started on the second floor and we were waken up middle of the night by garbage collection. Next day we requested to be moved and landed on the tenth floor. The room was quieter and had better view. Speaking about view, the hotel overlooks the Hudson River and provides a spectacular New York skyline.

Friendly staff and the location is great, only 10-15mins by bus to Port Authority without any traffic. A room is a bit old but spacious, well-managed and clean. And if you have a Manhattan view from your room, it's amazing all day long.

Absolutely fanflippintastic, staff extremely helpful, especially Natalia as our luggage did not join us, gave is excellent advice regarding shopping for clothes to tide us over. Gave us toiletries & charged our devices as our chargers in luggage. Bar very chilled with friendly staff & great music. A great place to stay if you don't want hustle and bustle of New York city but with easy access to city. Will definitely stay here again.

Of all the trips we’ve taken to NY, I enjoyed this hotel the most. Staff was polite and accommodating. Rooms were clean and our view of the city skyline was spectacular. Ferry to NY every 15 mins right outside the hotel. You can buy Ferry tickets at the front desk (guests only) or using the app. The ride to pier 78/79 is 6 mins Need to go to the Times Square? Busses right outside the pier will take you there free with the Ferry ticket presented. (So dont toss the second half of the ticket after boarding) We will be back in the future.

Amazing location. There's a ferry right outside that'll take you right to NYC. We had a meeting in the Whitney room, which is beautiful and has a lot of space and good coffee available. The bathrooms were nice and clean. We had a catered dinner at Jack's steakhouse and the food was good, but the service was better. Both at the dinner and at the bar. Beautiful views of the city throughout. Very good experience, 9/10 would go again!

We got to the hotel. The view was perfect. The price was right. When we went to check in the lady told us after giving us our key that we have to pay her $25 for parking. She told us there was no more parking that the parking lot was full. We walked to the back where parking was and there was plenty of parking and every car had a guest pass in the windows. So we went back in and a guy gave us a pass. Now I felt angry because I felt like the lady was tryna play us and get money out of us.

I chose this room because I thought I would really be please with staying by the water the tower that they had me assigned to there was no air in the lobby versus the main lobby the Decour seem to be less than what it was in the lobby when I finally got to the room 3 o’clock in the morning put my sheets back to go to sleep I noticed that the sheets were completely filthy as it have been blood stains that were washed I immediately called downstairs and complain to the front desk and all they did was have someone come up and change them clearly the person that clean the room seeing this and still left the sheets on the bed the only accommodation I receive the next day was a late checkout for 4 PM.

Great staff. Really helpful and nice. Great location. Close to the Lincoln Tunnel by road. Has buses to and from New York all night. Has connectivity to the NJ light rail. Decent rooms. Some of them have great city views. :) A few good restaurants in the neighborhood. Overall, a nice place to stay if you are here for work.

We stay at this hotel once a year during the spring break when we like to visit NY. Hoboken town is near by and it is a really nice neighborhood. We usually go to NY to do activities during the day and come back in the evening for dinner (very nice restaurants plus the Famous Carlo's Bakery of Cake Boss) or a nice walk by the park. Sinatra park is our favorite.

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Very good views of the city and ferry boat rides right outside the hotel, which was very convenient. Would recommend to a friend.

Great place to stay if are wanting to be in the NYC area but away from the crowds. Fantastic view of the Manhattan Skyline and a friendly staff. Our room was large and clean. They also had a nice club room, indoor pool and fitness center. The only downsides were it’s difficult to get back to the hotel late at night because the ferry stops running and the cab rides back from NYC are pricey, so make sure you make travel arrangements back ahead of time if planning to return late and you don’t have a car. The only other complaint we had was the free breakfast up in the club room was very minimal. They need to expand that a bit.

Nice hotel. Staff not as friendly or as helpful as I expected. Also not as nice or friendly as many other hotels I've stayed at. The lack of coffee or many other amenities that come with the price, will make me look harder next time I book a hotel in this area.

Great lodging for the price. And Manhattan is a quick, inexpensive water taxi ride away. You can even get a room with a NYC skyline view.

I gave it 3 stars because their rooms are way too small. I have been here 2 times in 2015 and 2017. It’s not as clean as you might expect from a 4 stars hotel. However, they have one of the best view of Manhattan skyline. Make sure to double check your room package when you are booking it, otherwise you should pay extra for Wi-Fi, breakfast and parking.

Front desk very rude, 25 dollar parking fee per night, view was horrible (bull dozers in front of our window) and breakfast not included! We paid 150 per night and were def. Dissatisfied with the noise view and no breakfast.

We stayed here for more than a week before our furniture arrived from across the country. Michael has been absolutely lovely and all the staff make the stay totally pleasant. The club lounge offers good continent breakfast and evening snacks. The view was fantastic and so convenient to get across to Manhattan by ferry or bus.

A fantastic view of Manhattan's skyline as you would never get to see if you were staying in a Manhattan hotel. The furnishings of the rooms are quite rustic/traditional (no rating) and have come a little bit in the years. You can reach the centre of Manhattan by car or by public transport within about 25 minutes. 1 star deduction because it's just almost perfect.

I wish I could rate less stars.   Worst hotel experience I've ever had (and I've traveled to 25 countries and 30 states.   Beds were not even and were very uncomfortable.   The TV did not work and just had blank screens.   I had the "Do not disturb" sign out.   Housekeeping came in regardless and stole my money.   When I called to report it I WAS PUT ON HOLD and it wasn't even addressed for another 30 minutes!   I was not told (nor was it advertised) that parking is $25/day even for customers.   The breakfast advertises a la cart items, but they will not sell items a la cart. In order to buy 1 yogurt, they tried charging $22! Save yourself and do not book here. They will literally steal your money! Terrible terrible hotel.

A bit dated. Views of NYC were spectacular. Conceirge lounge was pretty much useless. Open 24, hours but no snacks, no alcohol and small. Very limited breakfast. Restaurant had a pretty limited menu with poor service. Positive, very convenient access to ferry to NYC and free parking.

Nice hotel. Pool water not so clear. Run out of towels. Long walk from front desk to west wing. From west wing to pool or gym you will have to pass by the front desk in your swim suit while guests checking in are in suits. Poor layout. Rooms are nice, though. Our room was overlooking manhattan skyline where you can just stare at the view at night while in bed.

View is fantastic. Security almost too good. If you had a few adult beverages and feeling good, you may not get to your room. Staff could have a better clue of their surroundings.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel. When I made my reservation I was told my total for the room would be $211.00. When I arrived the customer service attendant was extremely rude and very unprofessional. No Welcome to the Sheraton!. Just I will need your license and credit card. I asked where do we park and she pointed that we drive around the building to the rear and park there. Never once did the attendant ever mention I would have to pay for parking. When I received my bill it was for $285.00. I immediately called the hotel to speak with someone regarding the charge. They informed me when I said I was told my charge would be $211 that sales tax had to be added on and that a $50 incidental deposit which would be refunded back within 5-10 business days. As of today 9/26 that still has not happened. When I called today on my $50 refund I was told there was a parking charge. I asked to speak to management who argued with me. At that point I let them know I was done trying to resolve this thru Sheraton and would have my bank handle the dispute. This is the worst service I have ever received and I would suggest anyone staying at this hotel check their receipt at check out! I will never visit another Sheraton and will make sure to let all of my friends and family know of my experience.

Wonderful location! Bus stop less than a block away, ferry right outside. Internet is $10 per night and there's no breakfast unless you're a member, or if you want to pay $22 per person for room service breakfast buffet.

Sheraton Lincoln Harbor is a good stay for a business trip. It has beautiful views of Manhattan and is conveniently right next to a ferry. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating. The rooms are clean and decent but mini fridges are notably missing. Be aware that dining options are limited. Jack Austin's is way over priced for what it is and Ruth Chris is very expensive. Thankfully Hoboken is a relatively short walk away with more restaurants.

Cons: Our room was not as clean as it should have been (hair on floor, dirty faucet knobs). The elevator smelled like urine. The remote button was damaged. My cousin ordered hot wings; you pay $10 and only get 6 (no sides) ; she ultimately threw some away because they were undercooked. Pros: The good things about this place is that we had an awesome view from the hotel window, and the staff is very helpful/friendly about how to travel the area via bus/subway. This place is right in front of the bus stop from the NJ transit, which takes you back and forth to MY for only $3.50.

Ideally placed place with stunning views of Manhattan.

Room was a lot smaller than it appeared in the picture. The bedding had stains which looked to me like blood, which was later confirmed when I found a pair of dirty, blood stained panties under the nightstand. I immediately spoke to the manager that apologized and offered me another room. I declined and asked for a refund. I will never stay there again!

My understanding is that this place has been recently updated. Feels fairly contemporary and comfortable. Depending on where your room is located, you may catch a great view of Manhattan across the harbor. Customer service could be a bit better and acoustics need some work. More specifically, the slamming of neighbors doors could easily disturb your slumber.

The location of the hotel is good, very close to a bus station where the 126 bus will take you directly to time square bus station. The rooms are very nice and clean. Front desk reception is always quick and polite. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in NJ.

Worst sheraton I have stayed at. $5 to bring silverware to the room, which they told me 40 mins later that they dont have the staff to deliver. On another stay, had to change room three times because of vent noise. Old hotel that smells.

The water temperature kept changing during the shower… The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs restaurant could be better … Food and service was awful! The hotel is very convenient if you are doing business in New York!

Great but SERIOUS customer service Issues we stayed here Dec 2014. Beautiful view of Manhattan skyline. Great access to Bus/Ferry/ tunnet to Manhattan. Lovely room staff. Coffee and food was ok but not amazing. Internet was very average but it was free. Rooms were fine, bed was lovely, lounge and desk were nice. There was a local laundry, shops and steakhouse. ** Unfortunately on the first day of our stay the front desk offered to give us ferry tickets during breakfast and charged both items to our room. Their 'computer system' then charged us $1170 (put a 'hold' on the money) because it assumed we wanted breakfast and ferry tickets EVERYday of our stay! Despite promises from the concierge that it had been reversed, it took 4 days to find someone who could actually fix it. This person was not apologetic about the situation or worried that staff had lied to us. It was finally 'fixed' 8 or 9 days later near the end of our stay. This could have SERIOUSLY destroyed our holidays as international guests with no easy options for alternative money sources. A VERY disappointing incident in an otherwise lovely hotel.

Simply perfect. Room service food was different… very tasteful. Not your average breakfast taste.

Been a SPG Platnium member for 3-4 years, plus Gold. Last year I didn't travel, thus A Gold Member, BUT this hotel wants you to pay $25 more for a room on the club level. Funny thing, other guests weren't even SPG members but we're at the club floor level. When I asked Nicole at the front desk about it, she informed me I could pay $25 for an upgrade. Seriously? I already paid $239 for a corner room, with no view, no fridge, two double beds and outdated, I guess this hotel doesn't appreciate SPG loyalty. And, to think, I'll of stayed 11 days at a Sheraton property out of 13 days to be downgraded. No more.

I was debating if going or not to this event, because in the morning of the event, I received an early email, which told me that, I got in, and got off the waiting list. I am glad that I went to it. It good seeing some familiar face in the yelp events but it also great meeting new people, that is yelp is all about, meeting new people and having fun with the same or similar taste of food. The drink: I drank the Whiskey Smash all night a buffalo trace whiskey with organic sugar, a bit cinnamon, some ginger and laphroaig mist, I am big fan of whiskey so I feel comfortable with this drink and I like it a lot. The Food: They had had a lot of food hand, in which I can highlight the following grilled cheese sandwich, bacon cheeseburger, breakfast burger, beef chili, pizza and fish tacos. I really enjoyed all of the delicious food that there. Thanks to Sara, the rest of the yelp team and the great staff of Jack Austin for this great event.

Not many places that you can stay with THAT view of Manhattan, and pay so little by comparison… the beds were so incredibly comfortable, the sheets were so soft and I fell in love with the pillows. Reserved our room and was pleased with the service, room service was very good, and it was particularly nice having the ferry feet away from us. There are no drawbacks, you can order their sheets and pillows.

The hotel is beautiful. In a great place, nice views, etc but maintenance needs to be done. Stayed in this hotel on Valentine's weekend, the first night, the room was cold. The second night, there was no hot water. I've never been to a hotel that doesn't have adequate hot water. I did let the front desk know about the problem and they said the engineer was supposed to be fixing it. Didn't happen! They did accommodate me by compensating my parking and giving me a partial view of the city but what I did not appreciate is the agents saying that I was rude. I mean, do u really expect for people to pay 100+ dollars to stay in a room with no hot water and cold air fuming through the unit? I advise you that if u have a problem with your room, just let it fly because the agents will lie and say that you gave them a problem. In this case, the customer isn't right. They're going to take their agents side. Btw, the heavy set Caucasian guy at the front desk, he was very rude… Didn't even print out my receipt. I came back in to get it from the manager Addie Patterson and she printed it out and just slid it to me. Didn't explain the breakdown of the receipt or nothing. I asked her to explain and she "half-way" did. 2 out of the 4 agents I dealt with had a horrible attitude. If I was rude to them, they should consider the way they were rude to me. I spoke to another manager and she just basically told me that her agents are correct.

The room service has no idea or intention of what customer service is. Ok place to stay but don't expect actual service.

Liked the location, the rooms were nice and clean, also enjoyed the free 2mbps up&down Wi-Fi. The restaurant on site was good. Did not like that there were no mini refrigerators on the rooms, no microwaves anywhere, and also the hotel's exclusive deal with a black car Company. In fact some things seemed to be done on purpose so you had to eat at the restaurant and take their car service. But hey, for the price and easy access to midtown using the ferry, can't really complain too much.

Coming from our closet of a hotel room in Manhattan, the Sheraton was a welcoming adventure. This location is right on the Hudson River and feet from the NY Waterway. We caught bus 158 from the Port Authority and it is a very short walk to the hotel (few feet). We were checked in one hour earlier and basked in our spacious room on the 8th floor. We had a wonderful view. This hotel is a little outdated but the room was very welcoming. The pool and fitness center were under renovation which was a bummer but the fitness center was relocated to a temporary home on the 2nd floor I think. The beds were okay. Too soft for my comfort, but decent. We had (2) tvs in our room and a separate lounge area. There was no microwave or frig. We were provided (2) free bottled waters. There is a nice business area in the lobby. There really isn't much of a nightlife if you are not driving in this area. The better option seemed to be commuting back to New York. There is a Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Houlihan's, and a food court at the Shops at Lincoln Harbor. These are literally across the street from the hotel. The hotel has an in-house restaurant but we never ventured there. The NJ Light Rail is about a 7-10min walk from the hotel if you want to experience a little more of New Jersey. Tickets cost $2.25. It was very nice to take walks during the day or night on the boardwalk. Overall, it was an okay stay.

The staff was friendly and helpful… The bed destroyed my back, but that's not their fault… They use soft mattresses and I didn't ask in advance… Aside from the back pain they were great.

The room was clean, everything worked fine, and it had a great view of Manhattan, day or night. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting to be near to the ferry dock or wanting a nice view of the city.

It was fine, nothing good or bad. I like that simplicity it made for an overall nice stay.

Other than view of Manhattan, I would not stay here when you can get hotel in time square for the same price. The only main way to get to Manhattan is thru ferry $9.50/trip. Otherwise u have to take a train then the PATH which is longer. Hotel is definitely not Sheraton standards. Stay here if you really just want isolation. Stay at the hotels in Newport or Hoboken, closer to public transportation and safer.

Good location, specially been next to the ferry across the Hudson to Manhattan.

Ok here's the deal we wanted to see the Macy's day fireworks display for the fourth of July 2015 the person we made reservations with said they would put us in a good room to see the fireworks and I confirmed with the person who made the reservations if the fireworks where still there this year. When we arrived they said that the fireworks was on the east side this year. The manager Amy was very polite and gave us a full refund plus a refund on parking. But I still paid about 25 dollars in tolls to get there & about 15 dollars for gas and time in my life that I'll never get back. Hey Sheraton when people want to book a room with you make sure that when they ask for something that's not happening you tell them. Once again thank you to the manager Amy for being great to us & poor very very poor on your reservations department. Yes we did get a full refund BUT, WHAT ABOUT MY TIME GAS AND TOLLS extremely not satisfied and I will be posting this on consumer affairs.

Fantastic Thanksgiving night with spectacular views.

Nice river view! Lazy service mate stayed over 2h in our neighbor room. We found fresh blood on the pillow cover and asked her for replacement or cleaning without response. No ventilation in the bath room.

Showing it's age, with noisy air conditioners and dirty lifts — but great staff and convenient location makes it a decent choice if working in northern New Jersey by day and entertaining in NYC at night. Keep your eye out for bands on tour here, one of the few places around with bus parking.

With customer service like this Sheraton should be ashamed of themselves. I would not stay here again. They could not accommodate my request for 2 beds and refused to issue a refund. The manager repeatedly refused to do anything to help. He robotically just kept repeating himself that it was Sheraton's policy and there was nothing he could do. The best he could do is offer a rollaway or sofa bed. Well, the sofa bed was horrible and didn't have sheets. They said they we very busy and they only had a top sheet with holes in it. Well the Sheraton just lost a good customer for life.

I have stayed 3 times at this hotel, and the staff is amazing, I stayed for business and the rooms and views are so relaxing! Front desk staff really anticipates your needs which is really important for me specially while traveling for business.

Very convenient location. Internet connection is very weak. The location is 50 yards from the path train. You can be in lower Manhattan in 10 mins. A mall is in walking distance too.

It what a very good time in the hotel and I found so many friends in New York. But my best experience what with the bartender at the hotel bar. I think I learned more than in 2 weeks in the school. I just can say. Practice, practice! Thank you so much for the good time at the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor hotel in New Jersey. And all they have heard about the air conditioning, please read the guide.
Now to the hotel, I think it's super here. Have nothing to complain about, or anything else. Normally have booked a room on the Manhattan skyline and I got that too. Only the wake up in the morning is an experience and if one is familiar with even the whole, is simply a number of lights and buildings, nothing else. But I want to diminish anything here, I was the first and the second times overwhelmed by the prospect and the whole prospect. I had no problems with the room service or housekeeping, everything was to my satisfaction. The ferry is somewhat expensive but if you can ride from the Harbour, then free in the whole city, it is also not so much. You can easily take the bus, the $ 3.20 costs and can be sometimes quite crowded.
All in all very well, and with amenities such as swimming pool and fitness is definitely worth the price.
