No one has service skills. Communication skills are lacking.

Very pleasant staff very helpful he even went out of his way to make sure the room was to my liking. Very clean and quite would definitely recommend.

Bed and pillows is very comfortable only thing lack of outlets in room.

This place is a good value. Could be a bit cleaner and less creepy. The woman working the front desk is a hoot, grat experience feeling with her, she makes the stay well worth it.

I stayed here for two daya. Room rates are reasonable. The loaction is also nice, next to main road. You have options to have breakfast here. They provide fruist, juices, bread, coffee for breakfast. You can also make your own waffle here. Its quite.

We stayed in a newly renovated room that was very nice. The staff was very friendly and house keeping was very detailed. The continental breakfast was basic but clean and good. On friday and Saturday night the other guests where loud and the person mext to us might have been doing something pretty unsavory.

Ladies in the office were extra nice. It was a good room for the money… Hot water took forever to get hot, and only one light worked but, after my friend put his hand through the bathroom door I knew I would never be allowed there again.

Te fronte desk did nor answe te bela or phone so couldnt rent room so has to takeok a cab to another motel. Not only was there no fronte desk service there was lotsa of people outside smoking pot. I Will not recommend a place there you cant get service.

Refused to give refund for stay booked 10 minutes before when it was determined that the rooms were extremely dirty and unsafe (windows falling out of frames). Had to call police to get the manager to give a refund. Worst place ever. Stay away.

Clean nice rooms and the staff went out of their way to make my stay Pleasant.

Our room was clean enough, but it had a distinct animal smell. Fine for a quick overnight stay or something you need in a pinch. Would look elsewhere for any type of extended stay in the area.

The room itself was OK. There were moths all over the room. Dead moths in the sink. Hair in the tub. And the light in the bathroom did not work properly so if you had to use the bathroom you had to turn the light on 3 minutes in advance before it actually would light up. The room was a smoking room (I don't smoke but it was the cheapest room available) and going into it I was prepared for it to have a certain smell anyway. The smell was so bad and stale it was had to feel relaxed. The only good thing was the people at the front desk were very nice and helpful but my key wouldn't work for the room so I had to keep going back for help.

The people were very accommodating rooms are very clean a little on the small side but overall very nice.

Overall good. Beds were a bit stiff and the pillows flat. Room was clean.

Great rates, comfortable beds, friendly staff, and surprisingly quiet for being off a major highway. I would recommend this hotel.

Went to a Christmas dinner at the restaurant connected to the motel. It was a great party with wonderful friends.

Staff was friendly and the free breakfast was good. Fresh fruit and you can make a fresh, fluffy waffle right there. However, the rooms were very outdated. There were bugs, very noisy outside during the night, hair in the bathroom, and bathroom so tiny. Would not spend another night there, ever.

Had dinner and a drink at the Italian restaurant in front of the Econolodge on 206 south of Newton. The food was good. Squash Flowers, stuffed wth ricotta cheese were tasty and almost never on a menu. Service was friendly and attentive, prices were quite reasonable, dinner entrees where in the $15 to $25 range including steak and lobster.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! filthy… Filthy… Filthy… Filthy… Wish I could post the pictures that I took! The place should be demolished! I can't speak for any other "Econo Lodge" However this one in Newton Nj… Is a bad representation of them all, because as it stands, I will never stay in an Econo Lodge anywhere! I did not go to sleep and my daughter slept in the car! The Wi-Fi was CRAP! The place is a DUMP! And the worst thing was that the place has BED BUGS I give it 12 thumbs DOWN and NO STARS…

The worst place for any human to sleep the walls is disgusting and last but not least they have bed bugs go at your own risk.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. Tried to make a reservation and even though they somehow made it for the wrong night they would fix it or refund me. It was booked for a night before I needed it and apparently because they sent a confirmation email I'm out of luck. Don't waste your time/money, they're not helpful, not respectful and certainly not capable. What a sorry act!

Was visiting a guest. Was well lit and quiet.

Decent room, could use more electric outlets and better Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi is very spotty and slow.

You get what you pay for. The bathroom looked like it needed to be wiped down. Shower head was gross with caked on mineral deposits and gunk. Beds were made nicely and everything there appeared clean. No weird smells or anything. Small fridge and microwave. Room itself was pretty big for a motel room. Wi-Fi worked fine, kids were able to stream Netflix and I could get some laptop work done. Would stay here again if we were in the area.

I travel all over the country and stay in motels this was a pretty decent stop. Room was decent maybe a few. Dings in the wall. No bed bugs from my inspection (i check every hotel) and a foam top matress. Basic continental breakfast various pastries waffle maker… decent size bathroom, fridge a microwave which I always need for my 2 year son. Wifi worked fine for me. Only negative was that the dryer didnt work and I couldnt do laundry! And the pillows suck flat as can be.

I've stayed here twice. The first time, their wireless internet was completely useless. It appears that whoever set it up was completely incompetent. Internet wasn't 100% necessary, so if that was the only thing that had happened I may have given it 3 stars. The last time, they put me in a room that was basically the basement of the restaurant next door. NO wireless at all there, and even worse, it smelled extremely moldy. The air conditioning sounded like it was going to blow up. The door was unlocked when I arrived so that didn't help reassure me that the room would be safe.

The rooms were so hot when we got there that you couldn't stay in the room while waitng for the A/C to cool it down. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned. I use a breathing machine and to find a plug in the room was almost impossible. Another family member took a smoking room and it stunk. They should really air out the rooms. Even though they are for smokers they most deffinately do not need to smell that bad. The family member who does smoke couldn't believe how bad it was. I could not even stay to talk with them because of the smell. The bright spot of the eveing was Linda, (whom I give an excellent to for SERVICE) She is the evening manager. She helped us with our late check-in, the extra towels we needed, an extra ice bucket and so forth. Good job linda. And thank you!
