DON'T stay here if you want to leave with all your stuff! MANAGEMENT GAVE OUT MY ROOM KEY WHICH LED TO ME BEING BURGLARIZED MY WIFE'S LAPTOP 2 NEW PAIR OF SHOES $400 CASH WAS ALL TAKEN FROM OUR ROOM! the MANAGER still has his job and I HAVE NOT RECEIVED any compensation for any of my loss! this happened on 3/31/21… my wife lost all kinds of programs for her cricut and embroidery machine that were on the laptop as well as cant work at anything without it. THEY KNOW they gave out the room key and the investigator says there is multiple times the perpetrators entered the room while we were there it is all on the hotel footage. I am a diamond member and for me to wait this long for resolution is a slap in the face. Im gonna post this story everywhere now.

I love the convenience offered by the location of Embassy Newark airport, not to mention the facilities and staff. Always a pleasant experience.

Excellent place too stay at. Happy hour is great, the bartender is awesome, the breakfast is great, and the staffing is awesome. Must stay hotel for the family, or if you want too have an outing with your spouse. Alot of great restaurants around, and shop. Including a mall.

I had a great stay at the Embassy Suites while I was in the area for work! Shuttle from and to the airport was quick and efficient. Check in was courteous and fast. Although this a very busy hotel I NEVER had to wait or be squeezed into a full elevator. When picking your room choose an even number as you will have a view of the NYC skyline which was nice to see for this southern girl. The room was nice and large! I loved the layout and the new decor. I have not seen this decor yet in an Embassy Suite. I did not take advantage of breakfast or happy hour which I’m sure were nice. And I loved that they had the TV channel Bravo! Kudos to this Embassy Suite and to its employees!

The hotel is very clean, room very comfortable. People at the restaurant is very nice, and I didn’t get any problem. Front desk it’s ok, not very friendly. Breakfast are EXCELLENT! The only point why I put 1 star is: You can’t make your guest paying 20$ + Tax every night of an open parking, in addition you have responsibility of eventually damage! Absolutely not worth that money! That’s is simply ridiculous.

Clean. Close to the airport. Across the street from an outlet mall. Reasonably quiet while planes aren't flying. Restaurant on the first floor with excellent breakfast choices but limited menu for lunch and supper.

Love their suites, big beds, pull out sofas. The free breakfast is also good. I will definitely stay there again.

This staff is 5 star quality! I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The complimentary breakfast was amazing lots of selection from the hot buffet to the cold bar you won’t be disappointed. I asked the chef to make me an omelette one of his own creations it blew this “foodie” away I gushed over it all morning long it was very tasty! I love that also you get free happy hour here, with complimentary drinks and appetizers!

Rooms are spacious and comfortable, beds would be a little small for 2 people but are ok for just 1. Everything is very clean. Staff was very helpful and nice. There is a small area in the lobby to buy snacks and such but it's a little pricey for the convenience of it. I was very pleased with happy hour and the snacks we're really good. Breakfast was also very good. The only negative that I have for this motel is that you have to walk through the lobby and the bar area to get to the pool, and fitness room. I would recommend this motel to anyone.

The Hotel is located very close to the airport, practically in front and has a Shuttle that leaves the P4 of the Newark Liberty… What if we found it rather bad is the attention received from the people who attended us at the front desk of the Lobby. The cost of the hotel is not so cheap for the attention received by them. The rooms are OK, the beds in the main room could be a little bigger and more comfortable. Otherwise the hotel is very well located in front of the most important Outlet in New Jersey and too close to the airport.

Although I was on a expense account, but the rooms in and around newarker very expensive especially with the taxes. However this is a pretty good deal it's a newer hotel, in walking distance to a Ruby Tuesday and an IHOP. It's close to the airport. They do charge for parking, but overall the rooms are very nice, large, clean. Again it's a newer Hotel, so that it's got that going for it. They have a happy hour with one complimentary drink and chips, but hey it's free. As well they have a complimentary breakfast, and I didn't get that at the Hilton for more money.

Checked in early with no problem thanks to Gloria. Loved the suite. Nice Happy Hour we received 2 free drinks and fully cooked breakfast. Will be back in December.

Very nice place to stay. Very clean and friendly/helpful staff. The breakfast was wonderful. The atmosphere here is amazing in the bar. I also like that they have a "Manager's Reception" set aside for the two nights that we stayed here. They had free drinks and appetizer for 2 hours. Thank you.

Great rooms, clean, close to the airport.

Very nice and friendly staff. The rooms were nice, but several of the outlets didn't work and the faucet in the kitchen area didn't work, no water. Not a big deal because I was only there a night. Huge bathroom with detachable shower head. The faucets in there were a little tricky and there was a slow drip, but again no biggie.

It's a beautiful hotel excellently located across The Mills at Elizabeth Garden outlets. Loved the convenience. The pool which we used was nicely stocked with towels and very clean.

Got there in a snow storm and the reception staff were great, I think we got last room. Suite was clean and bed was very comfortable and was glad to get some sleep. Next morning went down for breakfast and never seen anything like it, all the food was empty the omelette chef was so laid back he had a huge queue, no toast and this was early on so I ended up with a bit of corned beef hash with cinnamon French toast and a slice of bread and jam.

Hotel was comfortable, my bed was great, the food tasted good and the pool area was nice. But, I think they were flooded with too many people. I was there on a conference. The breakfast ran out too quickly especially the coffee — It was always brewing. I also had lots of problems with my room key not working. The last day I was there the key code on my door ran out of batteries. I had to wait for a "engineer" to put new batteries in the lock. This was right around the time of check out so I was trying to leave quickly.

Very clean, super nice staff, convenient. Stayed here rather than my usual Marriott brands. Nice. Cooked. To order breakfast. Evening. Cocktails: 1 free. Per person, then $2 refills due. To NJ liquor. Laws. Would stay. Again. They can. Arrange a cruise pier shuttle for you.

Stayed here on Christmas night before an early morning flight out of Newark. Beds were comfortable, water was hot, parking lot was really big, and the lobby was giant and awesome. We missed the free breakfast, but I’m sure it was great — the front desk staff couldn’t have been nicer, too!

Room was very nice. I had read good reviews about the breakfast, but it was so so. The coffee machine was broken. Eggs and potatoes were empty at the buffet line for about 10 minutes.

I have the 4th floor, room 426. Decent view of the hotels across the street, you can see the docks and the airport runways from here as well. Had a snowstorm while we were here. The hotel was on top of plowing the parking lots and salting and keeping things safe. Even did a special dinner during the blizzard at a reduced rate and with a scaled-back menu. Use the airport shuttle of couple of times, drivers are friendly, on time, and competent. All front desk staff and wait staff in the restaurant and lounge were very friendly, courteous, and professional. I would certainly stay here again.

Very clean hotel. Full hot buffett free breakfast. Free drink and snacks in the evening as well! The whirlpool and pool could be warmer. It was very cold.

Wasn't happy with the shuttle bus that only ran every 30 minutes. That's not good enough in winter in Newark when all the other hotel shuttles are running every 5 to 10 minutes. Hotel was good, but the infrequency of the airport shuttle at an airport hotel doesn't make sense.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, convenient location, walk in shower was great, towels were okay.

Great breakfast, my only problem is that regardless to what you booked, they put you into whatever suite they want you in. Each time I have booked a king bed suite, when I arrive, they put me in a double bed suite.

The Best! Staff is great! Make sure Chandru cooks you a great omelette. He's the best!

The perfect place for an excellent break on a long journey.

Hotel was nice for the price. Staff was helpful and friendly, especially the bartender! The fire alarm went off at 1 am though, and the whole building had to be evacuated, so that sure put a damper on the whole experience.

I enjoyed my stay here with my friends. The room was clean, the staff was attentive. Breakfast was amazingly fresh. This hotel is a go to.

Embassy elizabeth, nj. Very nice staff, awesome hamburgers & chicken wings from beyond… the suites closet need improvements> it has 1 rack midway with a shelf and security safe which takes up valueable space, then the ironing boards a joke…

Honestly a pretty decent place to stay having an event (a course). The free breakfast is a nice touch and it's quite decent even an omelette station, for free that's pretty great! The happy hour prices are insane good at $2 a drink and there's even nice snacks and popcorn, awesome! The rooms are basic and clean enough the staff is friendly and attentive. The key card kept resetting which was a bit annoying but minor. The gym was pretty basic but then again what should I expect? The menu options for snack food like wings or nachos was lacking (there were no options like this) which seems strange for happy hour. The price wasn't exactly cheap. It would be awesome for less but it was definitely adequate for the price. I would recommend staying here.

This was a great hotel. The room was very nice and spacious. The complimentary breakfast eas much better than expected. I would stay again if I came back to that area.

Nice modern hotel. Decent breakfast. Only cons, my fifth floor window had a huge crack in it and the shower floods the bathroom floor because water spills out under the door. Hopefully not a problem in all rooms. I've only seen mine. What kind of girl do you think I am.

Good breakfast, clean rooms but this hotel is nowhere worth what they charge per night. If you're from the south you might think the employees are rude. I quickly learned they didn't mean any harm it's just a northeastern thing I'm told. Stayed 4 nights. Popcorn and chips remained spilled in the floor in the area of evening cocktails for two days. I would only stay there again if I couldn't find a better place to stay. Never would be my first choice and will always be my last choice.

Don't sleep on the bed in the couch it will hurt your back. Really bad service and they tried to charge us an extra 100 dollars for the room, even after we showed them the online receipt they took off 50 dollars and still charged us 50 for parking when online it said it's included.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were helpful and polite and quick. Free breakfast is ok. Good selection but not particular good food. If you have the time, you can get fresh made omelettes but there was a wait on my visit.

All rooms feature living room with table and four chair where you can hold a meeting. It is well endowed with plugs, Americans that yes, and the Wi-fi is free and of enough quality, although from time to times it makes you re-enter the password. The hotel provides a free launcher service to/from the airport, where the train station allows you to access an Manhattan in an hour or so. The breakfast is quite complete and even makes you omelets freshly made to taste. It has gym and free swimming pool Two large TV's per room and large and small meeting rooms that can be rented for meetings with guests. The reception is very friendly and you are invited to a drink during the "Happy Hour" every day (my recommendation Blue Moon of Barrel) and during that time the consumptions carry quite discount i. E. A $2 beer. They also serve appetizers during that time, such as cheese, popcorn, etc. In the room you have free coffee and tea, and if you end up from reception right away they take you more. In addition you have a very large shopping center with great deals (outlet) a 3 minute walk. In my opinion it is a great hotel to do stopovers or visit the area of New Jersey, to go to Manhattan would try to find other alternatives closer.

Amazing rooms. Microwave and fridge. Clean and spacious. Breakfast is included and way better than most hotels. Made to order eggs and omelet station. Tator tots bacon juices and a soda fountain.

Embassy Suites was a good experience for the price. The location was somewhat distant from the city so it was peaceful other than the occasional planes from the airport. The room was clean and had everything we expected, but the bathroom did fog up and become very humid due to the lack of effective ventilation. This wasn't a big issue however once we opened the doors. Whenever we needed it, the staff were friendly and helpful in providing and resolving any requests that we had. This is an establishment I would recommend.

We went In for dinner and got seated and Noone came to take our order. After 15 mins I asked the manager and he said they were having a problem in the back and I had to wait. Didn't acknowledge us at all or apologize or say someone will help u soon. We left after that.

The staff here are horrible. Front desk staff are jerks, who don't care about the customers. The house keepers come in and ignore the sign on the door. The breakfast egg maker, when told thank you, responded with, yeah and threw my plate at me. The manager has been requested, but never contacts me. Im moving to another hotel. Do not stay here. I'm a diamond member, and my company has a corporate account here. I have all ready started the process of removing them from our preferred travel partners.

Hotel was nice. Well kept with comfortable beds. Staff was friendly. The hotel shuttle was scheduled every half hr or so. It was right across from a mall. There was an Ihop and Ruby Tuesday nearby.

I went to get a space for events, but the lady organizing it gave me very limited options.

Really nice and new rooms with large bathroom, living room and bedroom. Also the breakfast was really good compared to American Standard. Staff was only ok. Also short walking distance from the shopping mall. And free airport shuttle.

I unfortunately stayed here for work. As soon as I walked into the hotel to check in at the front desk, she completely ignored my group and allowed everyone to take priority including the guests and phone calls. By the time she helped us, she did not apologize and wasn't very pleasant. When I went into the room, it was nice and I honestly don't have any complaints. However, when I went down to the lounge I dealt with a rude waitress who was more focused on the guy at the bar. When I received my food the pasta had only arugula and garlic with olive oil and the bread was completely stale. I informed her and all she said was "the bread was from a different cook who already left. " If all you're looking for is a nice room, then be my guest, but do not count on good customer service.

Solid hotel with great rooms. 4 stars because towels not always ready at the pool and had to borrow from gym to dry off. Great happy hour.

We have stayed here before when it first opened and we loved it. We are Celiac and the chef then, took care of our needs. So that was the reason why we stayed there just recently. We always call ahead of time and put it in our record that we are Gluten Free. We called the front desk and they said that the kitchen would be able to accomodate our needs. All we had to do was show up. So we did. The kitchen staff was unaware of anything. So call and ask to talk to the chef/kitchen/food manager. Thankfully the head chef had just arrived and was able to make us some fresh bacon, eggs, and GF French toast. Since they didn't know ahead of time, we didn't have any potatoes to eat. They had tater tots out for buffett, but they deep fried them in a non designated deep fryer. So they ended up being contaminated. Regarding managers reception, the first round of drinks are on the hotel. After that, you pay. Considering the size of the drink to other embassy suites, the Rum Punch was as if you had 2 drinks because of the size. We ended up eating at the restaurant for dinner there. Ribeye was good. It too was Gluten Free. They said the French Frys are gluten free but never got to try it because we were to full from other food. The room was nice. Hallways are all carpets and so are the elevators, so if you have a lot of luggage or they are very heavy, it's hard to push/pull your luggage. Airport shuttle leaves on the top and bottom of every hour.

Do not stay here if you value a quiet nights sleep, and any help from their pathetic management team. I recently stayed here for 3 weeks while on business and during that time we had 4 yes 4 false fire alarms with the last false alarm at 2:45 AM in the morning! Kids that run down the halls and yell at all hours and a room that did not get above 65 degrees rounded out my frustrations with this hotel. I have stayed here before on previous business trips but it is abundantly clear that the quality of this hotel has deteriorated significantly in the last 18 months. Finally, when calling the front desk one must wait at least 5 minutes before they even pick up the telephone. I travel on business quite a lot and have stayed at many high end hotels but this Embassy Suites is run like a cheap hourly motel.

Love the Embassy Hotel but I didn't like how they had my reservation in for the wrong day when I arrived that when I found out. Phone line may need to be updated. They were able to change and find me a room sooo they made up for it.

The hotel is pretty good. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and free airport shuttle. There isn't much to do around the hotel though apart from a mall.

A huge suite. Delicious bed. A microwave a mini fridge. What more could a guest ask for? How about a large stand up shower? Ok! It's yours!

My family and I spent 3 nights there a week ago and everyone in my party loves it. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen staff was great and served up an awesome omelet. They even have bus shuttle to and from the airport, there you can connect to the train to downtown Manhattan for $. One incident we had was, we arrived to the airport after the last shuttle had depart for the hotel. However, when we called the hotel and explained the situation they kindly sent someone to pick us up. I will definitely go back there.

Someone stole my credit card information immediately after my brief stay here. I did not spend $800 at the target located in Newark, NJ nor did I spend $147.32 at TJI Fridays. BEWARE of this location, there are criminals abound looking for travelers to take advantage of.

What an absolutely wonderful hotel. Of course, being relatively new helps tremendously. The staff I encountered, Mark, Alok, Alonso, were the best.

BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION! SIGNIFICANT RISK! I stayed briefly here while traveling from upstate NY down to TX and had my vehicle stolen in the middle of the night from the hotel parking lot. Only the manager seemed concerned when the issue was brought to the attention of Embassy Suites staff, all attendants were unsympathetic and unhelpful. I was shocked when told that there are ZERO external cameras of the location, to include the outside lobby, external doors, and parking lot. I was also shocked that the location had hired Sterling Securities to provide 24/7 security services to the location but was not present at the time the truck was stolen and does not patrol the external areas of the building or parking lot. Please learn from my experience and do not stay at this location, it is not worth the headache that will endure following your stay.

Would not recommend this property to anyone. It not worth the money. Terrible service, did have a few nice employees that tried to straighten out the problems I had. Was given two guest certificates but couldn't use them at an Embassy. Fire alarm going off two tines within a four days stay.

It's beautiful the place and also there is a mall between the hotel and if they made the swimming pool bigger for the kids its will be great service is great everything is beautiful.

Horrible and when we evaluated them on their website they said they were going to refund us but they never did! No linens for the bed, noisy, not enough towels and the women at the counter left us standing at in the middle of the night for over 20 minutes while she played around with the computer! We were just there for a few hour on a layover with our kids!

We stayed here right after they opened. I found it a great place, especially for the money. It's very difficult to find a nice suite under $200 anywhere. For this same type of room, I have paid $400 plus in the past. Service was a bit shaky at times, but it all equalled out.

We were stuck in the EWR area for an extra night due to flights being cancelled and this is the hotel the corporate travel system booked us to and we absolutely loved it! Rooms were spacious, modern and the bed was absolutely amazing. The bar was great too ;).
