We decided to have the Ramada be our hotel for the night of our wedding and at first, we had great success when Olivia Riley was our contact in making the arrangements. However, she was let go when management changed and the experience afterwards went spiraling downwards. Besides the lost reservations for multiple guests or the sad conditions of many of the rooms (torn curtains, stained couches) the concierge desk (i. E. George) was honestly horrific to interact with. As the groom, when we arrived, we walked into the lobby and without taking 5 steps were already being told across the lobby that our rooms were not ready and there was nothing that could be done. Great way to start off the conversation especially when you have an hour and a half to get ready… We had for the past 2 days called the hotel to make sure that we had rooms with early check in to allow us a place to get ready. (We had also asked for late check out but I won't get started on that) The concierge desk (George) stated that early check in was merely a request and not a guarantee. This was never stated to us at any point earlier on and seems to be poor concept considering the hotel knew that we are a wedding party that needs to get ready for a wedding. If the hotel could not have guaranteed this then I would have made other arrangements with our venue perhaps. Finally, after arguing for a few minutes, the desk was able to miraculously find us another room which was ready. It just seems to me that if you know there is a wedding party that needs to get ready then you would make sure their room was ready first or to switch their room to the one that would be ready without extensive argumentation. This was just my personal experience but there were many other stories from many other of our guests that did not shed great light on the quality of hospitality which was received at this hotel. I urge anyone considering a stay here to find other accommodations. I could write a book on how sad this was.
