The hospitality at the hotel is wonderful. They have a restaurant onsite and a little shop to purchase snacks. There is a pool to relax in. I would recommend staying here.

I decided to stay here as I was going to be in the NYC area for a couple of days. When I ordered my breakfast (which was overcooked), I was told I could not charge the bill to my room despite the fact that I had left a cash deposit. It was a hassle and I had to wait in order to eat my food so it was cold by the time everything was straightened out. When I left, I realized I left my very nice blazer in the closet in my room. I called to see if I could have it shipped home and they told me that I would have to pay to have it UPS'ed home. I have never had a hotel tell me that before. I went back to get it (using my own gas and toll expenses) and found they had kept it, bundled up in a plastic bag, therefore wrinkling and maybe ruining my jacket. Those things are an absolutely disgraceful way for a business to handle/treat their customers. The only redeeming qualities were the bed was comfortable, the coffee was fresh and free and the front desk attendant who checked me in was very friendly. Other than that, nothing. I can't believe Facebook won't let us rate these businesses anymore. If they did, I would give this a 2 out of 5.

Great service from the staff, but the hôtel failed to Do their part: fridge does not work, so I couldnt store my baby's food, No microwave as they promised me during réservation, phone in the Room does not work… Trip from Montréal is litterally fustrating. You guys can Do better.

The front desk guy was so helpful to us. Very good customer service. Upon checking in the lady in FD was so helpful as well.

Staff is friendly and accommodating. The evening security left us in doubt if he could affectly do his job. The property does need some repairs and maintenance to the exterior and interior. Bricks fallen on the columns and laying on the ground, withering plants, some rooms had mold/water damage to ceiling, open dirty vents, molded and or missing caulking, some rooms had refrigerator and working AC and some did not, AND toilets seats the size of a child's potty training bowl. Breakfast is not free and similar to what you would get at at other hotels, plus a omelette cook, BUT costly $$$. We paid $35 for two people. It isn't a bad hotel but it isn't GREAT just needs some major improvements.

My husband and myself stayed a few days during the month of July. We found Filomena incredibly helpful. When we had problems with our lock on our door she made sure it was serviced. Then when we needed an additional night stay, she went out of her way to accommodate us even though the hotel was at capacity. Her service and friendliness went beyond custom-client relations and for that we are grateful to her. She is a credit to any employer.

Great place. Bar is good. Food is good. There is a big pool and a fire pit. Little bit pricey and the crowd is usually professional so not a party place. But if your looking for a place with a little bit of fun without the craziness you've found your spot. Would be a 5 Star but it's quite $$$

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Had a terrible experience right from Day 1. The Wi-Fi in the room works fine on laptop but does not work on mobile. The signal keeps fluctuating continuously. We tried on both Android and iOS phones with the latest make and model. We called up the support staff but they were not helpful. Most of the times the water jug in the mail lobby is empty and the staff does not bother to fill it up even after requesting them multiple times. In the very first day, I got a stock of my life when I saw 6 police men handcuffing a person in the hotel and bringing him down the lift to the front lobby for interrogation. This makes me wonder what kind of location this is and what type of people stay here. Is it safe? And to top it all, they have dirty rooms. There was a big flying cockroach in my room and the hotel authorities were not cooperative to shift me to a different room stating the hotel is fully booked. Pls avoid coming to this hotel. I didn't have a good experience at all. Holiday Inn sucks and I would never go back to any of its chains.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay. The hotel location was perfect for our family reunion in Westfield, zipping back and forth to Newark airport, shopping in the area, and just about everything else we wanted to do. The staff was outstanding, with a special mention for Karen at the front desk who was super helpful and cheerful. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. It could be said the rooms are a little bit tired in a couple of respects but we find that in many of the places we stay at unless they are brand new or recently renovated. All in all, we'd recommend this hotel without hesitation and would definitely stay there in future visits.

Very friendly staff, onsite restaurant and bar. Old hotel that is well kept. I was surprised how big the hotel is. It would be a great Place for. A conference. Or. Meetings.

A wonderful charming hotel, mainly because of the staff, The concierge Moe saved the day! and restaurant staff was amazing too! Go here because they higher wonderful people.

The place is good. Felt the rooms could have had a little more amenities as there was no fridge or microwave. The food was excellent.

Nice hotel good sized rooms the customer service could be a lot better. I have twin daughters and they refused to give us two cribs for the girls to sleep in. I asked for two he only brought one after beating around the bush stating that they may not have any “good” ones. I call down and ask for my 3nd crib and they refused to give a second crib! I’m sorry if having twins is a crime but I will be calling his higher ups that is totally unacceptable. Every other holiday inn or hotel I’ve visited has had no issues giving me the two.

Stayed here for my wedding. Blocking rooms was easy, setting up shuttles was easy. They even sent a shuttle to the venue later because we had to pack up our decorations.

Great service from most of the staff. The evening manager Dominique is great and really works for the best customer service. Fast bar service.

I don't stay anywhere else when I come back to NJ to visit family. I adore the front desk staff — especially the evening staff. Also ready to make you a much needed cup of coffee after a long trip (the treats with the coffee are incredible). I am a big fan of this hotel. The breakfast is great, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!

The hotel itself is maybe a little above average, no big restaurants right next to the building, but if you travel past the bridge should be able to find food, essentials etc.

I got the King Executive room. The room is nice and spacious. It was clean and tidy when I checked in. One issue I had was that the heating/cooling unit made a lot of clicking noises when it was running. I had to turn it off. The front desk service is very friendly. I ordered room service, but the kitchen staff that answered the phone was a little terse and seemed a little unfriendly. The food itself came in takeout containers which was a surprise. The taste was decent; it's not the best food, but it's definitely not the worst. Overall, not a bad place to stay for the price.

It’s very nice since the remodeling a few years back. However our room never got quite warm enough. And there was ice on the air unit in the window.

The hotel is the standard holiday inn. Clean and comfortable rooms. Good cafe for breakfast and drinks. But the downside is location. Though they claim that they offer shuttle services, they tell you reasons to not offer that. Have got stuck at places because of their unreliable behaviour wrt to shuttle pick up.

Typical hotel restaurant. Staff was very nice. We had breakfast. They serve it buffet style and we came in just before they started lunch. Food was still good. They may have done refills before we arrived. Some of the tvs were in weird locations. We were there to redeem a Groupon but the server said they don't apply it to breakfast despite it not saying so in the fine print. We'll be back to try dinner within the next several months.

My room was very nice, quiet, comfortable, and spotless! The staff was the best! The food was fabulous, the chicken tenders I had for dinner were the best I've ever tasted. A big thank you to the lovely young couple at the table next to mine who I chatted with at dinner. I left to meet up with my family and when I came back they were gone. When I asked the waitress for my bill she told me the young couple had used their coupons and paid for most of my bill. The breakfast buffet was great. The little cafe area they had by the check in desk was wonderful. I got a sandwich for a late night snack and it was delicious. Also the shuttle bus that took us to and from my nieces wedding was really nice and very comfortable. Thank you.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room was very nice. I stayed there after my drill day after having a long few days of working and feeling to exhausted to make the long drive home. The staff at the desk went out of they're way to make me feel welcome and comfortable and I'm so grateful for it. I wish I could give them six stars. If you guys read this, thank you again.

Booked my room online 10 min prior. Arrived at the hotel to a very friendly attendant. Our room was missing toiletries and they brought them up immediately and major apologetic. The restaurant was awesome! Our server was fabulous and super friendly and attentive. The food was spectacular! Coffee is available all night in the lobby. We were greeted with another friendly front desk attendant when we checked out at 5am. Great choice along our trip to stay.

I attended a professional business seminar here and having that be my first impression of this place, I would certainly come back here to stay overnight. It was very clean and I am curious now to see how the rooms are kept and how well the service is.

Front desk staff were friendly. The lobby and bar have been updated so when you first show up it seems like a nice place. However, the room was gross, trash behind the nightstand and a weird odor filled the room. The top cover on the bed had hair all over it so we threw it in the closet. Skipped the shower that night because I wouldn't bathe my dog in that bathroom. No free continental breakfast for $160/night after all their taxes and fees. TV went in and out and after calling guest services 3 times we received rude responses like we were bothering them. We gave up and went to sleep. Never again.

Nice place, my room was very clean, a little dated but tastefully done, staff friendly, room always in perfect order when returned for day with clean towels and etc. Stayed here on tour to see New York.

Room was great. Quiet throughout the night. Dinner is available right at the hotel which was convenient. No complaints.

Rooms were clean. Bathrooms are small and mold in shower. Only 1 ice machine worked, and not on our floor… same with soda/water machines. Had to go to other floors or to service desk where everything was priced higher.

This is not your average hotel food venue, it's more of a local gathering place. The food is delicious, prepared and presented beautifully and fairly priced. The restaurant and bar are immaculate, cozy and stylish, and manager Annette is so attentive and accommodating. Great place for couples, groups of friends, ladies' nights out or Business lunches and meetings.

Annette Cozzi and her associates are the best. They treat their customers with wonderful care. Very friendly and genuine. We love the outdoor fire pit area and it has become a place we enjoy going regularly. We hosted many parties here and highly recommend it! :)

There is not a conplentary breakfast. There is a breakfast buffet that cost $12. If you want to being in outside food, good luck. There is no where to eat it. I had brought in dinner and they had made me go eat it outside by the pool on a windy day because the lobby was full of business men. There is a "restaurant" if you want to eat there, however the restaurant is not marked off at all. You walk past the lobby and you are in the restaurant. It is unmarked, just tables sitting there. If you try to sit at one of the tables, you will be moved out of the restaurant. Very unhappy with this hotel.

Nice hotel excellent staff. In case you are booking via some of the popular travel sites like Expedia etc then it may not include complimentary breakfast. Please verify with hotel staff before you head for breakfast. Otherwise you will need to pay 13$ for breakfast buffet.

We reserved a block of 10 rooms for a family celebration. All of the planning and organizing was easier because of Magdalena. She was awesome with great customer service, always with a smile.

It was very nice. The staff was very attentive to our needs and helped us get what we needed for our event. Also the food was very good.

Good option close to New York and more economic. If you're lucky you'll have a beautiful view of the skyline of NY from your window.

Was here for a corporate training event. Location of the holiday inn it's very convenient as it's right off the parkway. Very clean inside. Chairs were comfortable and the temperature inside was comfortable. Pens, notepads, continuous food and drink was available throughout our training. Overall very satisfied and no complaints.

You have what it takes to just get to sleep.

I have nothing negative to say about the holiday inn. The bar was great after the event and provides a nice place for people to congragate. Breakfast was good, though not worth the cost.

Check-in was quick and hassle free the way every hotel should be! Susan made a great first impression; I couldn't be more satisfied.

I visited this hotel for a focus group, so I didn't really get to experience much as far as it's amenities, but I did get to see the lobby and a few of the rooms, which were all very classy, clean, and nice. The few members of the staff that I came into contact with were all so pleasant. I would not hesitate to stay as a guest in this hotel if I had a need to!

Has a bar and restaurant, a big plus for a hotel. However, rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves.

Clean and fast check in. Only bad note was the fact that a landscaping crew was at work using a leaf blower at 7am. Woke us up!

Nice people and very nice hotel and space.

Bed was comfy. Easy to find. Good location right off the highway. Housekeeping came by at 8 am and every hour after until we checked out.

Stayed at this property twice in the past 7 months both experiences were very good, only negative I can think of is perhaps the bathrooms could use an upgrade, they are dated.

Amazing experience overall. Close to numerous quality restaurants-we chose sushi literally blocs away. The room was clean and we'll supplied. They allowed our dog entrance without any surcharge. Breakfast was a wonderful experience and a treat for the kids. Would stay here again without hesitation.

In terms of the hotel, the stay and amenities have been very pleasant. Breakfast is really amazing. The only thing I can say, is the location makes it difficult to get to places without transport.

Not reviewing the Hotel itself; it actually looked very well-kept. This review is for "The Hub", the hotel's attached restaurant and bar. Found the prices to be very consistent (more expensive than a non-hotel restaurant of similar quality) with other hotel bars / restaurants, but the food wasn't very good. I had Chicken Parmigiana and it was lacking. My SO had a hamburger and thought it wasn't much to write about either. Our server was pleasant. She was also the bartender and was the only waitress, so I give her credit for being able to handle so many tasks at once, but it shouldn't have to be that way. I wouldn't go back. For those staying there, you're in a central area and there are plenty of good restaurants around if you look. You might have a better experience.

Last night, as“vertical and horizontal travel”into the living room 319. In room, bathtub, and water, the bathroom door, the carpet was also wet. Also, I don't know whether the window of the pool, with an engine sound great, like. Impact of the rest!

Surprisingly great hotel. Rooms were very clean, furniture was quite comfortable. Amenities were excellent and included Internet that actually worked, happy hour snacks in the bar/restaurant area and a quick grab and go area in the lobby (which has hot food from the restaurant at breakfast). The restaurant and bar in the lobby area was very good. Food at the restaurant was average to better than average. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely consider staying again. Length of stay: 2 nights.

Worst experience ever. Your team doesn't have their stuff together. I came in last Tuesday night was given room and 3 times I had to come back down to reprogram my keys. Mind you that I worked all day and was physically wiped out! Then, Opps! sorry we gave you the wrong room and your new room is so I go up for the fourth time and SOMEONE was already occupying that room, WOW! That's unacceptable. Then I returned to the front desk as the guest from that room already warned the front desk I was on my way down for the forth time. So, The desk clerk gave me a new room and personally checked it out first that know one else was occupying it! I checked out and told the front desk I was leaving and they asked how my stay was, so I told them not acceptable. They asked if I wanted to stick around and to speak to the manager and I declined I had appointments to visit. I was given a free drink, which was terrible and had to remake and breakfast voucher. Now that's not what I call customer service! I can't come back there because of what I experienced. Yes, I have other choices and it's a fact other properties would have given me a free night stay or even called me to apologies and ask how we could have made it better. Non of this was done. I stayed 2-nights BTW.

Corporate IHG needs to come in here and clean house of the management team. Room cleanliness is horrible here. Only positive thing was teh front desk.

The front desk staff is extremely rude. I called to inquire about a stay, as soon as I gave my rewards number the lady said "OK I have it on file, " then hung up. No thank you for calling, have a nice day, bye. Nothing. I work in customer service, and I have to say I would never treat a customer like this.

When you're on the road, it is great to have a refrigerator, a microwave, and a good business center. Holiday Inn Clark had all of these. Staff were friendly and outgoing, particularly Philomena on check-in and in greetings over my 3 nights. I would go back.

I just spent 4 nights at this Holiday Inn and I must say it is probably the worst one I've been in. The mattresses are too high, making it difficult to get into bed. The pillows are like boulders. The breakfast is terrible. We were with a tour group so our breakfast was included (on the 2nd floor). It was the same everyday: scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, tater tots. Sounds good, but it wasn't. After complaining, we got biscuits and gravy and on the last day frozen waffle sticks. I went down to the first floor and bought some fruit and a Danish on the last two days. The bathroom shelving is inadequate. No countertop with the sink. Obviously, I do not recommend this hotel.
