I didn’t like anything about the place I was told I was getting a discount because of being a senior husband to his a senior and there wasn’t no water I was told would be lift in the room the beds never mine they wasn’t good to sleep on.

This past weekend My boyfriend, my friend and her boyfriend and I stayed here and wasn’t satisfied at all. First off, the room smelled bad like sewage. Second, the towels and wash cloths weren’t really clean. The first night we stayed, I asked an employee for more towels and wash cloths, but was denied. Our room only had two towels and two wash cloths meanwhile the room was for four people. The employee told us that room service will be to our room the next morning to give us clean wash clothes and towels. So that night my boyfriend and I ran to Dollar general to purchase 4 wash clothes. The next day we spent our day at Wildwood on the beach. We came back that night with no wash clothes and dirty towels and our beds not made as well. In all, I do not recommend no one to stay at this hotel. The service sucks!

Excellent affordable place to stay located within 5 miles and a direct shot to Wildwood New Jersey Beach. Excellent time friendly staff. Debbie at the front desk gave us excellent customer service. I would definitely return tomorrow if it wasn't for work LOL. A+A+A+

Nicely renovated inside. Pool was clean. Rooms were clean. No issue with bed bugs or fleas as they are pet friendly. Neighborhood looks a bit sketchy but overall not bad for the price. Very friendly staff… 8 minutes from wildwood boardwalk. We'd stay again.

The rooms are nice since it was recently renovated. They were clean and welcoming. Everything was nice, though the price was rather high, but that's due to the area and time of year. Also, another car rubbed against ours in the parking lot overnight and wasn't reported. Some of the clientele looked a bit shifty too.

Clean and newly renovated. Well lit parking lot and hotel exterior. Owner is very friendly. Accommodated our dog. Close to Wildwood and Cape May beaches, as well as the Cape May ferry and whale watching tours. Right off Garden State Parkway and next to many stores and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms are small and not as clean as they could be. Dim (who I believe was the manager) was incredibly rude up until when I asked for his name. There was a housekeeping guy that was fantastic our whole stay, but overall I was disappointed in my stay here.

Newly remodeled and reasonable prices. For a less expensive motel chain you don't get the feeling of a lot of old motels that are dark and very outdated. They have made their rooms very modern. This one is convenient to both Cape May and Wildwood.

After missing the last ferry my family and I got stuck over here so we browsed a few places and wound up at the red roof inn. At first I didn't want a motel I wanted a hotel but this place was surprisingly clean and nice compared to the others in the area. I got a SUPER good deal on a bottom level room which was extremely helpful with an infant! The gentleman who helped us book our room was very friendly. They have free Wi-Fi and cable and the best part is the whole place aka the entire grounds is non smoking! I would highly recommend this place and if I ever get stuck over there again I will definitely return!

Wouldn’t stay again, if you are thinking about going on vacation to wildwood with a pet I wouldn’t suggest this place, you are allow to have the dog but you are not allow to leave the dog alone in the room so if you do book them make sure you pay for a babysitter during the day if you decide to go out.

The Staff is pleasant and the Rooms are sufficient. Our stay was just what we needed. Quite and uninterrupted.

Staff was very friendly. Room looked nice. Not very clean. Very stuffy until the air was put on. The room must not be used often.

Decent enough budget motel. Rooms were modern. Not the greatest beds ever, but it isn't the Hilton. No left turns out of the parking lot so you have to go all the way to the shawcrest light if you wanted to go to Rio Grande.

Brutal! Nasty, ignorant people who run the hotel. I called the main phone line and rang the bell at the front counter. No response to either. After about an hour someone finally answered the phone and was rude and ignorant. Said to come to front desk and ring the bell. So I went to front desk and rang the bell and an Indian woman came out from behind a door and started giving me an attitude for ringing the bell. I said I was told to ring the bell and she said I was interrupting her time. I told her all I want is a room and she told me she had no room for me. She was extremely nasty, rude and ignorant. I will be calling the Red Roof Corporate offices to complain.

I felt so homely with the good hospitality, cleanliness, worthy and fresh environment. It's so convenient with a great location. I would definitely make this as second home.

Fairly clean but budget rate motel. Converted from an older structure, but not bad in a pinch.

They gave our room away that we had booked a week earlier for a wedding which the four of us were in the bridal party. They never contacted us, so when we arrived we had nowhere to stay. I showed the woman at the front desk my confirmation email and her EXACT words were "Just because you get a confirmation email, it doesn't mean your reservation is confirmed. " I contacted the website we booked the room through. They said the hotel never contacted them to let them know they were cancelling our reservation, so we still had a completely confirmed reservation, meaning the hotel went rogue and cancelled our reservation for no reason at all. We would have been completely out of luck had we not called the Bal Harbour Inn in Wildwood. They gave us a hugely discounted room day of with two private bedrooms and bathrooms!

Great service nice pool allot of place to eat very close to wild wood.

Positives — Clean room, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Not far from Wildwood. 7, 8 minute drive. Shop Rite across the street, fast food nearby. Negatives — No microwave in room. Major headache if you have kids. No breakfast. Room isn't that big. That's it. If about $150 to the most $190, pay it. Everything else is way overpriced. Wouldn't pay $200 or over. Decent place.

Room was clean. It's approximately 8 minutes from Cape May. Right across the street from shoprite and other amenities. Booked here because all rooms at beach front were taken. Place was cozy.

Super clean, super spacious, excellent appliances, service and professional friendly service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to co-worker, family and friend. GOOD prices. We definity be back.

We stayed one night and really hated it. It's nothing like the pictures. Right across the street is a rundown trailer park. The rooms were very small and dirty. We only got two towels for a family of 5. When I went to the office to get more no one was around. Waited for 10mins and still left empty handed. The beds were hard as a rock and the pillows and sheets smelt really bad. It was the worst night sleep we have ever had. The next morning I went outside to have a smoke and drink some coffee when I noticed the people in the next room leaving with their luggage. The cleaning lady immediately went in and left the door open. I could see her inside she grabbed the trash and towels and took it to her cart. She then went back with new towels but never changed the sheets. She just made the bed with the dirty sheets and left for the next occupants to sleep in. My family and I were totally grossed out. We will never ever stay at this place again or any other Red Roof Inn. If you like a small dirty room with beds that are like sleeping on a sheet of wood, with sheets that haven't been changed in god knows how long then this place is for you.

The guy that checked us in was nice at first, and then ended up getting a little creepy. Overall this day was really nice, it was a lot nicer than I was originally anticipating. The only downfall was there were not a whole lot of pillows on bed and no microwave. The pool was very warm. And cleaned. We had towels and soaps and a nice TV. Overall it was a good experience.

Staff was very friendly, the room size was good. My only complaint was that the house keeping doesn't clean the room very well and our toilet seat was broken so it wobbled our entire stay making it a little difficult for our 4 year old. I will say you could see it was very busy and they were understaffed. Not horrible but not great. Good location for the boardwalk and all the action.

Old, refurbishing rooms slowly as of Summer 2016, but still just a plain, unremarkable place, with free Wi-Fi, albeit sometimes hard to find. It's an okay place if you have pets or need last minute accommodations. The previous owner rented to welfare families, so the old rooms are no quite so clean and comfy. Also, remember to ask if construction work is done yet. I was awakened by the sound of heavy duty equipment, delivery trucks, wood choppers and the like every day of my one week vacation. I have it a 3, only because the Owner and his Manager 'Henry' are extremely cheerful and inviting and most importantly, for me, they allow pets.

The service here was very awsome and the staff were on point when you need something. The front desk person Debbie she help us alot, we was traveling long distance. We will be going back again.

This was a very clean room. The owners were friendly and extremely personable. When I visit new jersey again I will stay with them again. All room completely remodeled. They were the best… thank you for a wonderful visit.

The room was semi clean when we arrived. The man who manages it must also own it because he was constantly there. To start off we booked a king room, we were told via phone they were under construction and were downgraded to a standard room but we believe we were still charged for a king room. When we arrived we were told again that the king rooms were under construction. Then we got the feeling that the owner/manager wanted to come into our room for whatever reason. After our first night we woke up to go to the boardwalk and he insisted we got our room cleaned… we were saying for 4 nights but we didn't need it cleaned so we said no but he kept insisting. We put our do not disturb sign on the door and left. When we came back it was flipped to the maid service side… I changed it back and we went to go to the pool to find that the king rooms were not under construction and there was someone staying in one of them. The manager kept giving us weird looks throughout our stay. We just got weird vibes from him, we actually tried to avoid him whenever possible just because of the looks he would give us. Toward the end of our stay we ended up cleaning the room better than the maids did, it looked cleaner than when we got there. We were leaving a tip just to be curtious… when we were packing we had the door open and one of the maids ran in and took the few bucks we left, threw the envelope on the toilet seat, then ran out of the room.

I stayed at the Red Roof Inn last week with my three children. The newly remodeled room was awesome! Very modern and I loved the hardwood floors and recessed lighting. We enjoyed the pool and pool area which was very clean and relaxing. The staff was informative and friendly. We were able to find food and activities (movie theater is two blocks away) close by without the all the heavy tourist crowds. And getting to the beaches and boardwalk was super easy. This is a great place to stay. I highly recommend it!

This place looked acceptable, decent even, on the internet. Please do not let that fool you the way they got us! We needed a place last minute and after looking at priceline and reading the previous review on here, we figured "how bad can it be? " Well, we found out. I have no idea how this place is allowed to be open for business in this condition. — There was a discolored light bulb hanging from the ceiling by semi-exposed wire covered by a horribly stained piece of fabric! — The walls had mold running 6-10" up them and the paint was cracked and popping off in large spots -the ceiling in the shower was completely rusted out and when the shower was on pieces were falling down into where you would be standing (if you could try to shower in there) — The door did not seal and dirt and wind were blowing in over the top and the bottom of the door -there were burn holes in the sheets, upholstery, and carpets -obviously a horrible odor in the room The pictures are available on yelp.

Do not stay here. All of the reviews that say this place is horrible are true. The worst place I have stayed and it was only one night. RUN I would not stay here eve for free.

New management wonderful owners! working soo hard doing all kind of remodleing brand new parking lot! right off the parkway why pay wildwood prices? when you can be 5 minutes away no traffic, picnic area and a beautiful pool I hope new owner allows pets as we have the wildwood dog beach and the new proposed lower twp dog park coming! welcome to rio grande the brand new owners of the offshore motel! please note the old reviews wre from previous management Boat parking galore bbq for your fish! dont forget your crab traps! great crab spot along the road 2 blocks east!

Horrid,, Dirty,, Smelled Never again.

Worst Ever! Terribly dirty, just filthy! Nasty sheets, nasty smell & in a really sketchy area… hope I don't get mugged. $170 per night (August). Dirtiest, scariest place I've ever stayed, no joke.

Most horrible place to stay ever. Black mold, no soap, nasty tub, stains on bed, wet spot on carpet from ac, froze up refrigerator, funky smell, sick from staying here. Will report to BBB and dept of health. Paid $171 to stay. Key card never worked. Please tell people about this place. Needs to be torn down.
