Benard, at the front desk, is an excellent example of a great employee. He was very helpful and very polite. Rooms are decent for the pricing, very comfy beds. Breakfast was two hours late from time I was given, 6:30am, and all food was very stale. I suggest bringing your own food. Overall a decent place. I will be back again.

If you rewind about 5 years ago when Red Roof Inn took over this once Fairfield Inn and Suites, it was amazing. A genuine great motel for a good price. Recently and very rapidly, it has gone into absolute disgust. Last and final time I stayed here it took 3 rooms to finally find one that was in livable conditions (No bed bugs, heat worked, clean sheets) you know things you expect at a decent motel… The desk was hesitant to keep changing my rooms, but honestly I should have just left. The hallways are dark and cold, burned lights and ac/heat units in the halls are not in working order (For many years). For about the past 2 months, no cable or internet provided, because of a "broken pipe. " Well how long does it take to fix? I travel for work, and stay in hotels 365 days a year, Red Roof is usually my go too, and is amazing. This location allowed itself to go into complete filth and a place I and obviously many others will never stay again. I have stayed at this location AT LEAST 40 nights in the past 5 years, and they lost a good guest. I could go on, but all the reviews on here sum it up great. I hope they get their stuff together, this location is a damn shame to the Red Roof Inn franchise. If you are a 1st time Red Roof guest, and you stayed here, please know the other locations are not this bad at all!

How is this place allowed to be open. It is a disgrace to a chain called Red Roof Inn. Shows how low a standard New Jersey Inspectors have when they allow places like this to remain open. Bed Bugs, Roaches, Mildew, Filthy carpeting, Broken Elevator, Horrible Continental breakfast and the list goes on as to why this place should be shut down. Just read the real reviews and not the fake ones the Hotel puts up. This place is a definite ZERO RATING! Sad thing is it at one time it wasn't so bad. Guess they are milking it for what they can at the consumers expense and disappointment when they realize this is anything but a peaceful getaway. Losing at the Casino will feel better than spending a night here. SAD LINDA… you have no self respect if you can with any conscious work for a dump like this. Ownership should be ashamed but they use you to deal with the ongoing complaints. Do not stay here!

Horrible experience! They said the elevator was making noise, to not use, but no sign. Took the stairs to my room, but couldn't get in because the key card wouldn't work. Took the elevator down, no problem, no noise. Told her my key cards won't work. She reloaded them. Went back to the room on the elevator and got into my room, and the first light switch didn't work, and was pitch black. Had prop the door open to see to get to the bathroom light. Took my luggage out of the door, put it in the room. Went to get the rest of my luggage at my car. Had to park in back, the front hadn't been snow plowed. Couldn't get back in. The key card didn't work for the outside doors. Knocked on the door thinking the front desk is 12 ft. Away. No one came. Carried my luggage all the way around to front to get in. Told the young girl working. She said sorry. Got to my room, turned on the TV and NO SIGNAL. Called the desk. She says sorry and the Wi-Fi isn't working either. In the morning I couldn't check out for over a half hour. No one at the desk. I walked around yelled hello, called on my cell phone and heard the front desk phone ring. When someone finally showed up. I told him how long I've been waiting. He says I could have left the cards on counter or in my room.?

I stayed 2 nights. The cable was out both nights, the place was a bit run down, random stains on the furniture, and the breakfast was stale bagels and cold coffee and tea. The staff at the front desk had to be called upon to check in and that was pretty much the last time I saw staff. A bit of a ghost hotel. It gets 2 stars because I paid $70 for 2 nights last minute. If I had paid more, I am sure I would of complained about no TV and a dirty room. This is not the usual. Red Roof Inn is usually a lovely experience elsewhere, this one… not so great.

Room was nice and clean which is a big thing for me. No bugs. Bathroom tub clogged when we took a shower. We chose the do not disturb since we were leaving our room, so when we went to get towels and wash cloths the next morning… they had no wash cloths clean and no housekeeping to refer to. It was already 9 am, when do they do the laundry to restock the rooms. Continental breakfast is very basic: cereal, bagels, oatmeal and small muffins. Juice and coffee also available. Good to rest your head if you just need a quick cheap stay.

Can't complain. The rates are VERY reasonable for a weekend. The staff were really nice. Nice decor. The rooms were clean. Room service each day and good atmosphere. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast and unfortunately didn't have an extra bed or pull out couch since it was 3 of us girls but overall very satisfied with my stay.

Wolf in sheeps clothing. Only thing it has going for it is location. Lobby is nice, but once you take the scary (yes scary) elevator to your floor it's a different story. Hallways very nondescript and old. Nothing on the walls. Dirty. Room was large with misplaced furniture, an old mattress and pillows that felt like I was sleeping on boulders. Bathroom was a joke. A very dirty roll of toilet paper left for a spare roll. The shower wall had a large "patched " hole in it. And zero water pressure, hardly any hot water. Free breakfast? Not. Nothing. Coffee was empty, when I asked at front desk I got cold coffee. No cream. Breakfast offered where bread, bagels or cereal. Do yourself a favor. Don't book this hotel.

Everything was great from check in to check out. The front desk representative, Carlos was very patient, informative and helpful during our stay. He also had a great sense of humor. I reserved a suite, and the room was very nice for the price. Great location and affordable price.

Nasty unchanged sheets in three different rooms. One bed had dried food stains. Fridge was moldy toilet was dirty in the inside pubic hair in the shower. And you can hear the next room over as if they shared room. It was disgusting. Costumer service was nice overall.

Bed bugs! Check in was fine and the check out guy was helpful… gave us bags to put our stuff in to help stop the spread of the vile creatures and some bed bug advice. Only stayed about 3 hours until I had dozens of bites. Awful, first time experience with bed bugs but from what I read, any place is susceptible to bed bugs…

It's extra dumpy but not extra cheap. It needs a MASSIVE renovation. Front desk was awesome though, 2 stars for the front desk none for the inn.

For the price, it was what I expected. The room wasn't perfect and it had issues like some mold on the bathroom walls and broken cabinets, but it was clean throughout the room. The breakfast was OK. I recommend it for a quick stay.

If there was a way to give this place a negative 5 I would! My husband and my two children 4 and 8 months old, stood here on labor day weekend. We would've stayed else where but everything was mostly sold out or worse than this place! We normally stay at the Tropicana in Atlantic City but as I said it was already booked up. As soon as we got off the elevator there was a horrible odor. Than when we got into room the odor was even worse! The room was so dirty! The walls had streaks on them! Yuck! The bath tub was dirty and full of hair, also the shower curtain was dirty! There was black stuff maybe mold on it. I have pictures of everything if there's a way to post the pictures I will! The towels had weird yellow and brown stains on them as well. I had to ask for new towels a few times. Also if they know there's more than two people staying in a four person room there should be 4 towels in the room instead of us calling front desk to bring towels over and over again! The Ceiling was also peeling off. I would've slept in my car if I didn't have my kids that needed a roof to sleep under! The worse place I ever stayed in my whole life!

Horrible check in service. The guy at the front desk, Bernard has the worst customer service! I've stayed here in the past and I loved it now its horrible. The pool is dirty the room is disgusting the paint is chipping off the walls. The lamp shade has stains on it. They don't even deserve a 1star. The phone in the room doesn't even work. I've called the front desk multiple times to talk to the manager and everyone refuses to let me speak to them. Housekeeping hasn't came not once to clean the room. When we called to ask for housekeeping to come clean the room they asked if we needed towels. We have garbage piling up. This is completely unacceptable.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The room was filthy. Carpets, bathrooms, elevators, everything was a disgrace. It took forever just to check in as there were no staff available during the 4th of July weekend. Towels were not available. Bathroom was nasty. Room smelled horrible. No travel site should ever have this dump as an option. It's a complete rip off. The city need to shut this place down immediately.

Vandalized car at several clients in the courtyard. Two nights in a row. The police of the city we are told that vandalism is high in the area. They would not stay in this establishment.

I booked two room side by side they had bed bugs the hotel manager was supposed to give me a refund instead change my account they also put 25 on my card 4 time with out me even know the staff are so rude the houseman didnt even take the cover off the bed the next day housekeeps was cleaning it using the same covers with the bed bugsi hope the lady with the dog didnt take the bugs home smmfh the kids did enjoy the pool lol o forgot to say we had to make a trip to walmart for wash cloth they didn't have none 6/21 to 6/24 they also move me too a different room and the one room was supposed to be smoke free smell like weed and the other room had molded in the bathroom.

Very good place to relax and they have food for you in the morning very good service also safe and very clean rooms I give them a five.

Room had an odor and sheets were dirty called the front desk and they promptly took care of the problems.

It did what it did for the price paid. Make sure you check everything in the room and check in early in case you need to change rooms for damages in case something doesn't work which happened both times staying here lol. But for what yiu pay it is a solid place will stay there whenever in the Atlantic City area for an event etc.

The hotel staff was fantastic! They were extremely helpful. The room was nice and clean. I was pleased with the location (it is less than 15 minutes from the boardwalk).

First time staying at Red Roof Inn. Rooms were cleaned as well as bathrooms. Heater in room 330 was good as well as beds being comfy. Only issue I had was they had two elevators and only one working. Also they had a sign for the ice machine on the 3rd floor but then redirected you to another floor.

First room was infested with bedbugs, I got bit up really bad my first night there, went to the front desk and the lady gave me a new/ up graded room with no problem. She told me that room (336) was "jus cleared of the bed bugs" I wish I was told that before they gave me the room because I wouldn't have took it. Other than that it was ok & close to ac strip. Free breakfast but not that good. Friendly staff.

Went to the front desk for pillows and towels they said somone would bring them up waited 2 hours. Went back down to the front desk waited around and they finally gave me towels no pillows waited an hour was told pillows are being washed itll be a half hour so left to get food come back 2 hours later was told they are almost done went to the room waited still no pillows went back down and was finally given pillows. I waited 6 hours for 2 pillows. There was also a fairly big cockroach on the light switch near bathroom sink and the breakfast was crap. Don't stay here!

The staff is very friendly and Linda is the best. She's a true manager. Room was excellent! We will be coming back again and will certainly tell friends. Thank you Linda!

I stayed here for the weekend for the first time with my husband and daughter. I booked it on groupon and got a great deal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I found the room and bathroom to be clean. The pillows are conformable but a little small. The shower could have a little more power. The continental breakfast is decent and a lot more then most hotels offer. At the end of the day you just need a place to sleep and shower, and close by to all the attractions. Overall we has a great stay and you cannot beat the price! Another perk is that this hotel is pet friendly.

I booked a King Jacuzzi for one night. The hotel looked clean and so did the room. The bathroom had 2 towel and one of them were dirty or clearly needed to be replaced. Also, there was a wet wash cloth on the shower which CLEARLY means the room was not cleaned to 100% accuracy. After checking out we left our ipad in the room and I called to let guest services know. They ended up booking the room we just left out of instead of holding it until they found our ipad. I won't be staying there again. I'd rather pay $300 to stay at one of the more expensive hotels.

Im a coach who attends the Brigantine beach tournament annually and get hotel accommodations for the team as well. We stayed here when it was the Marriot three years ago and it was AMAZING. Last year was a different story for numerous reasons but number one was the favt tjat tjere was blood smeared all over the comforter which was sandwiched between two sheets. I got in bed and nearly put my face to it. This was after sean McCallum messed up my room block, sent me a contract riddled with spelling errors and I sat in a chair that fell apart beneath me. Janet was the manager at the time and did everything in her power to rectify the situation. So much so that I actually considered staying there again this year. When I called make the room block and asked for Janet I was told she was no longer there, I should reach out to Sean. I did begrudgingly, twice via email as suggested by the woman at the front desk. He never got back to me. My 16 soccer families and I took our business to a clean, responsive, and costumer friendly hotel. We will never go back.

It was a dump! Here are all the negatives we experienced — Bedding was filthy, had holes and hair in the sheets. I reported it ASAP and it took the staff over 4 hours to replace sheets, the maid service leaves a 5 pm. Two towels in the bathroom asked for 4 — never received them. The front desk staff acknowledged me but never explained anything else. I had to read signs posted within. One elevator was not working and the workers had to use the same as the guests. Very slow. The stairs were at the END of the building, again no one told us we found it on our own. The pool closed at 7 pm. WHAT? no pool closes at 7 pm. On a hot summer day! Breakfast was poor. Coffee, danish and bagels is more like a "continental" breakfast. Cereal was plain. Definitely NOT worth the price we paid. The only plus — it was 10 minutes from the boardwalk!

Great price, quiet, clean, great costumer service. No complain at all. Clean small pool, clean kitchen, clean room, not abundant breakfast but for the price it was more than what we spectated. Just a few miles from all places you want to go. My family is happy, I'm happy.
