Review of Marriott Saddle Brook 4*

I am sure this is a great hotel and most of the time a great place to stay. This past weekend the hotel had a theft where a purse was stolen from the bar area and returned to security with items missing from the purse. The hotel did a very poor job in trying to figure out what exactly happened. The management and corporate staff did a great job in placing blame on everyone else except themselves. They classify the inside of their hotel as a public place and everything that occurs on the premise as not their responsibility. My only goal was them to try to figure out what happened not for them to provide any sort of compensation or anything like that. They did absolute terrible job in all aspects of any sort of investigation. Basically, if anything bad happens they will quickly be the first people to use all sort of legal jargon and politically proper wordings so they don't have to take any responsibility of what happened probably because as you know hotels are built on reputation. This hotel has huge weddings on the weekends where you will have all sorts of people coming in and out without the proper security to prepare for that. Again, I am sure normally this hotel is pretty safe, but if you are going to be collecting $60, 000 — $80, 000 for a wedding weekend you need to have the proper protocols in place, if you do have some bad apples enter your hotel. All they had to do was apologize one time and show some compassion, but they refused to even acknowledge anything even happened at their hotel.
