One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever been in.

Fridge had freezer section. Outlets and USB ports in multiple areas. DirecTV and wall mounted flat TV. Good stay. Next to Chili's across the street.

Super clean and quiet. Smoke free. Ample parking. Beds were very comfortable. The renovations look amazing.

The hotel was okay, enough for what we needed to do. It provided shelter for the night and gave us beds. The room was realativly small. The bathroom was even smaller, convieniently the sink was in the door entrance area, so someone could get ready while someone else was in the bathroom. Breakfast was nothing fancy. They had an automatic pancake maker, which made leathery, though delicious pancakes.

We drove up from Va. To pick up a car from a dealer and this place was recommended… Nice rooms but construction was going on in lobby, and we never heard it in rooms. We got the suites, price was close to the rooms.

The room is very nice and spacious for a quick stop and not a long term stay. There is no laundry on site they send the clothes away and it comes back at the end of the day. Breakfast is complimentary but you'll be eating out or ordering out. The staff was friendly but nothing out of the ordinary for hospitality services.

Location clean and well managed, courteous staff. The room is also being modernising.

Such a nice place, the king room was super nice. The lobby and area to eat/lounge was nice and clean and food and beverages available around the clock. Breakfast was so good. I’ll be back soon.

The Hotel Eata well. The elevator is old and there are certain things that eventhough the hotel is nice are not well detailed.

Location was 5 min away from every place I had to go. People were great. Room was clean. Small but super clean and had everything I needed and more. Breakfast was ok. Pancake machine broke but other than that it was good.

Super happy with the cleanliness and environment in this hotel. I left my hairdryer there and they made sure I got it quickly. Great stay!

I stayed here during December 11 to 15, 2017 while visiting a client. Location from the client was only about 10 minutes so very convenient and no traffic really getting there in the mornings. Breakfast and Wi-Fi were included. In the evenings when I got back from the client there would be fresh baked cookies and fruits available. Juice and water were also complimentary. The hotel is newly renovated so the rooms were very modern, simple and comfortable. If you are a very light sleeper then I wouldn't recommend staying here. The hotel is on Hwy 17 so the noise coming from cars and trucks can be heard in your room and it is very noticeable. I should also mention that the staff were very pleasant here.

The staff are great: friendly, helpful and informative. The rooms are very clean despite the fact that the hotel is doing a bit of remodeling. The bathrooms are very small, but the rooms are sized just fine for 1 — 2 people. The hotel is conveniently located near a few small chain restaurants although nothing is open late around Ramsey except for the Dunkin Donuts next door and Dominos Pizza. In the event I visited Ramsey, NJ in the future, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great hotel for the price! Excellently remodeled hallway and room decor, although the showers a bit older (but function well). Water temps were great, and easy to control. The A/C Heater works well, beds very comfortable and CLEAN room in every aspect. Standard HI Express breakfast, and short walk to several restaurants next door. Second time I've stayed here; I plan to return.

Very friendly service. Had a baby with us and didn't know our double queen room wouldn't be able to fit our pack and play for her to sleep in. Obviously, things would've been different if the place were fully booked, but we were switched to a king room that worked great for us. Great choice for the star rating.

Fair price for the room, spacious and clean, though a little old. The sugar cookies in the lobby were out of hand — so yummy!

Very friendly and accommodating staff. On our last night allowed us to take prepackaged food to the room as we would be on the road hours before breakfast began. Breakfast included pancakes, oatmeal, eggs, sausage, cereal, toast, muffins, fresh fruit, danish, coffee, and tea. Juice, coffee, and tea available at all hours. Super convenient if traveling with children. Coffeee was delicious and string enough. Not standard crappy watered down coffee. Room was very clean and smelled like fabric softener. Infant crib is a legit crib not a pack and play! Beds and pillows are very comfy! Hotel was quiet when we stayed.

Great place for the business trsveler. No pool, but quiet and beautiful area of new Jersey.

The hotel has been recently updated. Both furniture and electronics are all modern. Rooms at clean and quiet.

We had a 2 bedroom which was recently furnished. It was very clean and cozy. Hotel is currently being revamped but aside from that I have no complaints.

Rooms are neat, room service doesnt bother me, the curtains/blinds are good (completely dark), sits on a highway so if you're sensitive to noise I wouldn't suggest it. My room was facing a highway (route 17) and it didnt bother me at all.

Recently renovation hotel with excellent stay. Rooms get cold (AC), water pressure is great, beds comfortable, internet is quick, and the hotel is clean. Parking lot is a little small, but overall a great hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Modern, comfortable rooms with nice little touches that made us feel at home. The continental breakfast was pretty good too. Check in and check out were both quick and easy.

The family was really tired. We had a good night sleep. Great breakfast and we were back on the road.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and it has always been a pleasant and restful experience. The rooms are clean and the renovations are really successful. The breakfast is a bit lackluster, but complimentary.

Not much in the way of amenities, but the parking lot is not too busy, and the rooms were clean enough. Free breakfast with stay.

DON'T STAY HERE ***** Select another hotel — this place should not have the Holyday Inn logo. Don't expect to get the service you typically get at a Holyday Inn. Reservations where not in their system at arrival front desk argued about the price. Middle of the night they woke me up to tell me that there was an issue with my card and had to go down to take care of it at that instant — Unbelievable! — Next day both cards where some-what not functioning properly I could not get in my room… etc, etc…

Convenient location on Route 17. The room faced the highway bit was very quiet. You could only hear an occasional truck. Rooms were clean and the check in person was really great.

Quiet and a good breakfast.

Terrible compared to Hilton. No dinner. Have to drive up the street for laundry. Room is small. Bathroom is small. No kitchen. The living room is the bedroom.

As a regular HI express user, I was disheartened by this property and will never stay there again. The walls are paper thin! There are few amenities in lobby or property wide. It seems to be a reincarnation of another chain property. The HI Express Paramus, 5-10 minutes further south, and the new HI Express in Wayne are much nicer for someone needing a base in North Jersey/NYC area.
