Don’t ever deal with, or stay at the Hyatt place in Paramus Nj. They are unreasonable and screw people over. My fiancé and I set up a hotel block for all of our guests to stay there for our wedding over a year ago. They decide to tell us a month before our wedding that they are no longer providing a shuttle bus due to COVID restrictions. Its such bS because there are no restrictions any more and I was told it’s because they laid every one off and are not willing to bring anyone back yet/ because they don’t want to spend the money. They’ll promise you the world and then cancel and don’t even care how much they are screwing you!

There are some people who, namely so teenagers and college kids, who checked in a handful of rooms on this 3rd floor tonight, partying with drinks and ice from the vending machine and then arguing in the hallways at one another at 1am in the morning. I was about to go out to yell at them to pipe it down and take it somewhere else more private but they dispersed before I could open the door to do so. It is now 110am, and if I hear them again, I will be taking myself down the stairs to make a complaint directly to the front desk tonight and to have someone speak to these kids directly. I am done. Worst experience. Do not recommend!

I am beyond disappointed. I booked this hotel for the main purpose of having a bar and indoor pool. I arrived 2 weeks after booking the room, and I find out that neither are open. Nothing was advertised on the website, travelocity never said a word either. I paid a lot of money for this hotel, it wasn't cheap. I really regret staying here, the whole stay was a nightmare and to top it off I have 3 kids in tears because of the pool situation. Words can not describe how upset I am.

The staff and people are truly amazing. We can't thank you guys enough for your support of the Jackals and the players and staff. By not only providing a place to live and make us feel like family. It was truly amazing to see the staff rooting for our guys at our games and not missing one playoff game and being able to celebrate a championship with us on the field. You guys are amazing!

Clean room, comfy beds and nice shower head are part of standard Hyatt Place. Very friendly staff and willing to help. A decent size parking lot in front of the hotel. Location is very good too, it is located on the route 4 west, near the Garden State Mall and Ikea. So you get many restaurants and retail shopping places to choose from. Very good breakfast, fresh fruits, yogurt, scramble eggs, sausages, juice and coffee. … I recommend it for business trip, casual travel, extended stay or weekend getaway.

Big rooms with good shower. Excellent breakfast with quite a lot of choices. Staff is very helpful and they even arranged a shuttle bus!

Where my parents stay every visit. Wonderfully designed, very comfortable mini suites. Great staff. Excellent breakfast, as far as hotel breakfasts go. Great sausage gravy, on Tuesdays I think. Enjoy.

We were greeted as soon as walking through the door with big smiles. Checkin was seamless. The room was very nice. I like how there is a separate lounge and bed area in the room. The room was clean. I lost an earring but the housekeeper found it and left it on the bedside table. (Think on that for a second). The location was great and easily accessible to major thruways. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back next time we are in town.

Great location however, the breakfast is chaotic and overcrowded. The breakfast area should be at least double the current size based on number of guests who used it when we stayed there. Also, my husband literally had to clean the bottom of the pool before our 3 year old could use it since there were piles of dirt on the pool floor. Hallways kind of loud but, after speaking with front desk they were able to locate noisy room and noise stopped. Overall, not a terrible hotel. I did think that the living room area was a separate area that could be closed off with a sliding door which wasn’t the case.

Great big room with place to work and great TV with many options to watch, close to the road so bit noisy, the breakfast is OK — nothing fancy.

The staff is extremely friendly and proficient. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. They also offer a late night menu. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay, Excellent customer service, Great food and best location.

Too many negatives: only one of two elevators working; mattress poor and lumpy; terrible TV reception (ESPN keeps cutting out to colour bars, close captioning works on maybe three channels) ; poor hot water at night; alarm clock set to different time with no indication of how to change it. also dangerous location (it seems to me) off highway especially if you want to take Route 4 onto Broadway Ave… means cutting through multiple lanes of high speed traffic in short time at a very busy junction. On plus side, staff and breakfast was nice.

Stayed at this property for 2 weeks. Having stayed at many Hyatt properties, I can say this is a pretty weak Hyatt Place. Although the staff was friendly for the most part, here are the cons of this location: 1) No recycling bins anywhere (even asked a manager) 2) Complimentary breakfast is below average 3) Beds are fairly uncomfortable 4) Room card would stop working multiple times in a day even when not being placed next to other cards.

Great location right off of the highway and the rooms are big, including a sitting area. The staff is excellent and very accommodating and the pool is great if you have kids.

Usually stay here but not in the winter. The breakfast was not managed well — always out of silverware. The shows in the morning were luke warm — turns out several people complained about this. But I will return. Staff were very accommodating.

Have stayed here a few times over the years. The staff is friendly and always willing to go out of their way to make sure your stay is nice. Very family oriented hotel, this can mean for some noisy nights but just call the front desk and they will take care of it right away.

All great but if you like eggs for breakfast GO OUT FOR BREAKFAST. They say cage free which is great but they taste like powdered eggs even if they are not (gross) Other breakfast choices are very good (pancakes, fruit, oatmeal, bread choices, cereal choices etc. )

Decent hotel. Their lobby leaves something to be desired and some rooms are more updated than others. Not bad and I guess it's a good value. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, water was hot, shower had good pressure. But this place didn't blow me away.

We stayed at this hotel and let me tell you… they had Excellent customer service, staff is very friendly and I wanted to mention one staff member in particular (Escarlen) she went above and beyond to make my experience a memorable one!

I love the breakfast and the staff is great. The room is spacious. The pool smells gross, that's my biggest complaint.

The staff was not accommodating at all. I had reserved and paid for 2 rooms and one of the rooms didn't have heat or refrigerator for 2 of the 3 nights. When we spoke to front desk the first time the lady told us she will put the heat setting to a number so it won't come on because it was blowing out cold air, and disregarded the fridge not working. They did replace the broken iron in the room. The heat and fridge was fixed on the third day once I had to go hunt the supervisor down. As I stated earlier that I stay at the Hyatt when I travel at different locations so I know I can pay ahead of time and just swipe my card for the refundable deposit when I arrive at the property. The lady who answered the phone refused to allow me to pay and was rushing me off the phone when trying to make sure arrangements for the room was correct before I traveled 600 miles. She didn't want to waste anymore time on conversations, when she clearly was giving incorrect information regarding my reservation being cancelled after speaking to a manager. This is the worse customer service I received in all the Hyatt I stayed won't be staying there next time I travel back upstate.

Room was spacious and clean. Included mini fridge, large screen TV (awkward location, beds and couch were separated with a divider, TV was located across from divider). Room was well lit with the multiple style of lights throughout the room, and in the morning curtains worked wonderfully for blocking the sun. We requested a microwave in the room (additional $15 charge, which is fine except the microwave didn't work well, had to heat water for tea multiple times, and wouldn't pop the popcorn despite being on high) Front desk staff were extremely kind and helpful, answered all my questions about the bill and gave us hotel information (fitness room available, pool hours, free breakfast (though I wouldn't recommend the eggs) ). Due to the microwave request we were accidentally booked for two rooms, staff was quick to make changes to the reservation and provide me with the appropriate bill.

Rooms are more than I could have ever asked for. Wonderful loving space with lounge style couch. Comfortable bed. Large TV with ability to hook up accessories made easy. Great free breakfast. Close to NYC.

Fairly presented lobby and rooms very courteous staff and wonderful breakfast to start your day, everyday they have different course. Wish the bed would be a bit comfortable and sized well.

The rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast was delicious. The environment around the hotel was beautiful. The location was in Fairlawn. The service was okay. I thought the gym was very small.

I have nothing but positive remarks for this hotel and more importantly its staff. I was staying at this Hyatt for a 2 week training with my company and was immediately impressed by the quality of the room and the service I received. I have never met a nicer group of hotel staff and enjoyed hanging at the bar for drinks and dinner. Breakfast too each morning was delicious and another positive was the shuttle service that brought me to and from my company headquarters each day. A special shout out to the amazing crew that I met and got to know over my two week stay — you really made things enjoyable and I would definitely stay at this place again because of you. Thanks so much to Steve, Alex, Andrea, Jennifer, Vanessa, Escarlin, Paul, Audrey, and Lorraine.

Love this place. Been there a few times and its always good service. Clean, polite staff, pool and gym are awesome too.

Stayed in this hotel for three nights a week from August 2016 to Janaury 2017. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would love to mention housekeeping staff Hsk Zofija in particular. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

If you are bringing Fido, you will not find a more pleasant, relaxing, welcoming hotel in the Bergen county area. It is also well priced. If you are not bringing your pet, it is a welcome friendly hotel as well.

This hotel staff was welcoming and very friendly and the location was perfect. It's in the center of everything (mall, restaurants, movie theater, and grocery stores. I also love the water dispenser and coffee station that welcomed you in the lobby everyday. This hotel has good upkeep and the rooms were nice, our room could have used a little updating decor…

Convenient location for traveling into the city. Free breakfast with warm and cold selections. Extremely friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Stayed there for three nights. Very large suites, well equipped (TV, Internet, Fridge). Front desk was friendly and helpful. Right next to Garden State Plaza and highway exit, two big pluses. Also there's a pool, so a bit of swimming can be had…

Location was excellent for what I was in town for. Service is unbelievably good, with super friendly folks manning the front desk. By my second day they had remembered my name! Food is average, but expected at this price point. Rooms are really well appointed for this price point, definitely a step up from others. Be careful getting in and out of the hotel though, traffic in New Jersey is nuts!

Great staff and service… the only problem I had was the location… it is not the easiest place to get into because it is located on a busy hwy. (Hwy 4) … it am from Wisconsin though so I am not used to it… otherwise it is an excellent hotel for the price. I would stay here again for sure if I come out east again…

I love the Hyatt! This particular Hyatt Place is walking distance from my house. We enjoy going there to celebrate the March's birthdays. Enjoy the spacious room to have a nice time. See my grandchildren enjoying the pool with papa, and enjoying breakfast together. Staff is really nice and accommodating.
