The (understaffed at our check in) hotel front desk worker was incredibly polite and hospitable despite the long line of guests — phone constantly ringing — and the fact that he was the only one there. Everyone wore masks and participated in social distancing. The room itself was roomy, comfortable and clean. Great place. We’d definitely stay again.

Great place to stay. Really friendly staff, a great pool, game room, hot tub, sauna. There is ample parking and easy to get in and out of. There are lots of skiing areas for a winter trip. I would recommend it to anyone.

Absolutely recommend this hotel. Nick the front desk agent extremely friendly and very helpful. It maybe summer weather but its close to a bunch of ski areas. The hotel has a pool, whirlpool, arcade and much more. Thanks for the stay Vermont, I'll be back.

Excellent place to put in for snowmobiling. And relaxing in the hot tub afterwards. Friendly staff.

Nicest Comfort Suites I have ever stayed in! Fresh ice cold lemon water and cookies in lobby when you walk in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast also. Great little 24 hour gift shop with toiletries, snacks, drinks even frozen food for microwave. It also has t — shirts, sweatshirts etc… The bed was so comfortable! Usually hotel beds are horrible, not this one. It was like sleeping on a cloud! The pillows were great too We were visiting from out of state, we have always been pleased with Comfort Suites. This one by far is the best we ever stayed in!

Peaceful and well kept property. Good for sleep. And I like the gym/pool. Breakfast could have more healthy options but overall great.

Room and bed were comfortable. Shower was nice. I would be careful of the hot tub as it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. Hopefully I don't get a UTI. The "sauna" barely got above 100 degrees.

Comfort inn was a great place, very clean, staff was very helpful, great place if your traveling w children because they have a pool inside downstairs. A workout room for mom or dad, n also a little game room to meet your kids needs also. Lol. This place is also handicapped accessible n so is the pool, there is a great lift by pool to get you right in the water and it works. So I hope you enjoy your stay.

Rooms were clean, good facilities, breakfast was fresh and hot. Only downsides were elevator wait times (one of the two available were out of order), and lack of adjoining rooms (we had requested adjoining rooms so our kids would be next to us). Overall the hotel met our expectations though, and we enjoyed our stay.

This place is friendly, clean, comfortable, great sheets, quiet and great pool and rooms, fridge and microwave and safe and secure, I had planned to stay two days but we decided to start traveling accross the US in the uhaul early, even at noon they cancelled my 2nd night no charge. I was comfortable walking barefoot everywhere, lots of green space and best place I stayed in my 2892 mile trip.

The pillows and bed we're soft. The pool was heated and the hot tub was nice. Also, their deluxe breakfast buffet was better than I expected.

The room was okay. The evening front desk person was disinterested, but the morning staff were excellent. The rugs in the hotel need updating and because of this the hotel looks dingy. I was disappointed that the fitness room didn't open until 5am and I needed the already extremely busy person from the front desk to unlock it. The Wi-Fi is terrible, at best there was 1 bar of service. I was completely disconnected, which would be okay if I were on vacation. The breakfast was the worst I have ever seen in a hotel, it was difficult to discern that the rubber disc was actually an egg, which was very disappointing as I remember the breakfast used to be pretty good. I have not stayed here in a long time and I hope I will not have to again, especially since the price of the hotel was 169.00 a night plus tax which brought the total to 184+.

Location is great, staff friendly, 1st floor 2nd time staying on this floor, the beds are awful, Room is spacious, the breakfast is fair, COLD I was born in St Jay, but will try a different place to stay as the beds are not comfortable, I travel there 2x a year 7 hours. And need a comfortable bed. He owns alot of property in St Jay he should invest in beds.

Excellent experience for a Comfort Inn. We kept 2 large dogs in the suite with us and the staff was very accommodating. Unfortunately our dogs barked a little during the evening and we felt terrible for the other guests. We got it under control by 9 and the staff were so understanding! Definitely choose this hotel in St Johnsberry.

I haven't stayed here but have taken advantage of their open pool for use by the public. My grandchildren like to swim there when they are on school vacation. Gives them something fun to do and they get good exercise. The cost is $7.00 per swimmer and we usually stay a couple of hours, but you can stay as long as you like.

Nice and cozy rooms! The gym, pool, hot tub, game room and laundry make this a special place to stay, in that area! The complimentary breakfast was an added treat!

Great clean hotel. Location is awesome with easy access to the highway. Pet friendly too. Complimentary breakfast is complete with eggs, meats, selfmade waffles and real Vermont maple syrup. The staff is always friendly and willing to make your stay the best.

Rooms are large and clean. Pool is fairly large and the jacuzzi is a nice touch. The weight room is pretty good as well. Front desk is nice and helpful. However, the elevators are rather loud and clunky, and the free internet is very slow, but all in all this is a great place!

Always there to accommodate us when we arrive — sometimes with no reservations and know that we prefer a room on the bottom floor! How great is that?! Love your breakfast and the pool!

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the last year. But they had some new people on the desk when I arrived who had not customer skills what so ever. My evening was really bad. Requested some extra coffee for the room took over two hours to get it. The saving grace was the morning crew and the best breakfast I have had at a comfort inn ever.

Basically perfect! Exit 20 off 91 and there it is, clearly visible. Beautiful property, very well kept inside. The room we had was large and clean. The pool, hot tub, sauna and workout room are very nice. The folks working the front desk were all friendly. Pet-friendly. Business office with lots of literature about activities nearby. Hot breakfast in the morning was a nice touch and very handy. To be extra picky, the TV was slow to change channels and the scrambled eggs are clearly not real eggs, but otherwise I highly recommend this property.

Great location. Off the highway. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with their recommendations. Military and pet friendly was a major plus. Breakfast was tasty. There were plenty of food choices. I especially enjoyed the walffle maker. The only downside is the we arrived to the pool and the hot tub late in the evening and it dirty. The pool water felt like we were taking a salt bath. Not sure if that's how things are here in VT. One of the arcade games was broken. You could tell because there were game prizes stuck at the bottom where you could not reach. Overall I would recommend and next time bring my pup!

I stay at Choice hotels all the time — this might be the nicest one I've ever stayed at. Large clean quiet rooms, good hot breakfast, real maple syrup, 24hr coffee. The grounds are landscaped beautifully. Lots of parking… Note for motorcycle riders : I noticed 2 bikes parked just outside the front entrance, in a well lit, highly visible area. Gives you that extra feeling of security…

Great staff great pool great jacuzzi. The front desk staff was very helpful and breakfast was delicious.

My only experience was with the pool. It was generally clean, few people were there and the service was great. No chlorine smell. I think they use salt in the pool.

Clean, comfortable and quiet. Free breakfast including make your own waffles with Vt. Maple syrup. The pool and gym are small but user friendly. Conveniently located off the highway and close to downtown St. Johnsburry.

Great hotel with nice amenities. The staff shows great attention to detail and tried hard to make sure everything was perfect. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were very clean.

Good breakfast and the staff was nice. But, they took my dry cleaning out of the closet, and when I was ready to leave it was missing. I had to wait to leave because they had to contact housecleaning to get my shirts back.

Good pool area and entertainment area. The breakfast is good and plentiful. My wife had a health issue and staff were there to help us Thank you to all the staff.

The property is very well maintained, the rooms are very clean, and nicely furnished. The staff is always very freiendly and accommodating. Stephen at the front desk is very personable, always smiling, and has a great attitude. This is by far the best Hotel in the area.

One of the best Comfort Inns we've ever stayed in, and our clients thought so too. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. The fall season is a bit pricey, but you can't complain about the quality.

Overall exactly what you would expect from a chain hotel. Rooms are clean and all have a mini fridge, indoor pool is nice for kids in winter. Front staff could use more training but we're staying here again! It's good location, clean and dependable.

This is a second posting. My first visit was at the end of July but did not post until Aug. 2. My second visit was August 6th. Once again we had a fabulous visit. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The customer service of the staff was out of the box. We like going to the Comfort Inn because of its location. We are now members of the kingdom trail and it is nice to go back to the hotel after a hard ride wash up and check out the area. The staff have been so knowledgeable about the area. They sent us on an adventure to some glaciers. Absolutely gorgous. We had a very nice Thai dinner and relaxed in our room. We were able to get an early ride in come back get washed up and on the road by 11:00. We only stayed one night this time but it still felt like a weekend. We will be back! This definitely a great weekend getaway. :).
