I stayed here for a wedding this past weekend. The staff was excellent and and did a great job. Food was great as well. Room was spacious and beds we're comfortable. Would def come back.

Beautiful scenery and rooms. Stayed in a Garden View King for a wedding. The venue and food were amazing as well.

We love this dog friendly inn. The bed was amazing and the front desk staff was phenomenal. The restaurant downstairs even delivers room service! The view from our room was wonderful as well. Definitely recommend a stay at Common Man.

Amazing, Luxurious & Relaxing! Everything you can expect from a Common Man Inn. The river view Is breathtaking. Feather topped comfy beds — delicious room service — fun downtown to explore and many outdoor activities nearby. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. New Hampshire at it finest.

Attended a holiday party here. Absolutely gorgeous atmosphere and good food. A very New England feel.

The Common Man space and staff exceeded our expectations for our wedding day! Kristie, Tessa, and Katie helped us manage every detail — they offered up helpful suggestions, were extremely responsive throughout the planning process, accommodated our special requests, were transparent/clear about pricing/costs, and did a great job reducing planning stress at every turn. During the event, all of the event and hotel staff were extremely accommodating. Our reception was in the Ballroom, and our ceremony was in the Woven Label room. The event team helped us decorate and clean up, and the wedding day was perfect. Everything was ready and exactly how we discussed, the space was beautiful, our guests loved the waterfalls, and the staff was attentive and timely throughout the event. The food was A+, our guests loved it, and we were able to do a buffet and played vegetarian option. We were even able to do a late night snack — cheeseburger sliders were served at 10:30, which was a huge hit! The bridal party got ready in the Terrace Suite, and the hotel team helped us immensely — they provided extra tables/chairs for our hairdressers to use, constantly checked in to provide extra towels, etc, and Kristie even helped us organize a lunch delivery, which arrived right on time. Our guests LOVED the inn — they're still talking about how great it was that everyone could stay on site and how nice the rooms were.

Great location downtown, right next to the river and local shops. This Inn was very unique as it was converted from a mill. Everything was great about my stay, bedding was comfortable, location was quiet, included breakfast was quick and tasty. If you are staying in Claremont this is the place to be. Also on site is the Common Man Restaurant which is a great choice for having dinner and drinks.

Delightfully surprised by this establishment. We are aware that there are multiple locations up and down the Rt. 93 corridor and we've visited some of the other but this one in Claremont, NH has it's own unique charm. We stayed at the Inn after a long day of snowboarding in Vermont and enjoyed a very respectable plate of mussels and wings (of course) and had to try their "Loaded Cornbread Skillet". The description was: "House-made cornbread layered with caramelized onions, peppered bacon and Cheddar. Served hot with maple butter" For $6.99, how could we resist?

The staff were super pleasant, the room had a really cool view of the river, the breakfast was perfect, and the coffee was great! The whole place has a warm and welcoming feel. The restaurant looked great, but we only had time for a couple drinks at the bar.

Rooms are in a converted Old Mill very rustic and hotel is very dog friendly. Will be going back again in the spring. Can't wait.

A real gem of an Inn. The rooms are gorgeous, much better than the website may lead on to. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice location by the River and falls, and close to downtown. Everything in walking distance. Parking is so, so though.

The hotel was very accomodating, clean, ans cozy. Minimal breakfast, but that was perfect. Nice location to downtown.

Nice party in the upstairs event room. Food was good, drinks were expensive and a very limited selection the bar. They need a much better selection of craft beers, and alcoholic drinks.

Great place to stay with quiet rooms, an attached restaurant and function hall. Died in a converted mill building with large exposed wooden beams. Limited parking on weekends, public garage to supplement around the corner two blocks away. On the sugar river in downtown Claremont.

Nicest hotel I've stayed in at that price. The rooms were beautiful and rustic (one wall was entirely brick). Food was excellent (the continental breakfast included really tasty breakfast sandwiches). Very clean. My only complaint is that the room was a little noisy due to thin walls.

Everybody was super friendly and the whole place was sparkling clean. The desk was barely large enough for two laptops and the TV was awkwardly sized and placed but the Wi-Fi was solid and reliable and there was even a hard wired network option. I did have to move the bed and unplug the lights to plug in my laptops as I didn't bring any extension cords and power strips but the atmosphere and comfort made up for any faults. The breakfast was limited but it was a nice break from the usual.

We love staying here. We come once a year for our girls weekend, and stay in the terrace suite with our own jetted hot tub. The service is wonderful and the staff is great!

Always a great ad very comfortable visit. Convenient for my work travel and also for visiting the area. This place defines cozy with all their wonderful little touches. Bathrooms and rooms are well thought out, comfortable provide you with whatever you might need during your stay.

I had dinner there Thursday night. The place looked great, and the staff was nice. With that being said, my meal was wrong. I ordered a burger well done. I took 2 bites and saw it was under cooked. I called the waitress over, and showed it to her. She took is back. About 5 minutes later she and I assume the manager brought it back to me. It was the same burger, I had taken two bites out of. I went to eat it, but the bread was so soggy it fell apart. So I sent this one back. Finally on the third try it was correct. When I got my bill, I was charged full price. As a former restaurant manager of 10 years, this meal should have been comped. Also I am pretty sure, that the burger I had taken two bites out of, should not have been recooked to completion. This was my first visit to a Common Man and will be my last.

We had an amazing experience at the Common Man. Such a beautiful Inn. The first thing we noticed was the stunning, old world lobby. We sat there to breakfast in the mornings. So cozy and at home there. Wonderful Staff eager to make you happy. Comfortable rooms, very clean and quaint. Great view of the river from the restaurant which was also lovely and fit with the hotel decor. We will definitely go back.

The people were really nice, the food was fantastic. I have been there many years and they are consistently great.

It was a mix bag. We were there for a friend's wedding, my fiance was the maid of honor. I guess they messed up a few things behind the scenes that they were supposed to be taking care of. Plus when they served the dinner, they did it in such random order ttat some people at different tables didn't even have food and some meals got mixed up. The food was good, but not great. The place itself is beautiful, and there are some pretty nice views. The staff was all very friendly, drinks weren't too overpriced.

I stayed on the main floor, in a king room. The beds are very comfortable, the restaurant is great, and the workout facilities are clean and accessible. I did hear some TV noise from the neighboring room but no more than in any other hotels. Great place!

Wonderful atmosphere, great food, full gluten-free menu. Good service. Parking was a little weird as I'm unfamiliar with the area. Overall a great experience, I will come back again.

I was there for a junior prom, the event room was lovely and the staff were great.

Brides beware! My husband and I got married here in March. We booked the Sugar River Ballroom for our wedding due to its beauty, but that's where the good times in planning ended. I went for their "Winter Wedding Package" which I basically had to beg them for, and throughout the planning has to constantly remind them of. They never got ahold of me when they said and even switched event coordinators without informing me, it wasn't until I called there for her that I learned she no longer worked there. I was never given deadlines payments or reminders for certain paperwork. Skip to the wedding, which was very beautiful, it was the day I finally met the new coordinator, who was rude to my groom and bridesmaids. The inn staff was very accommodating and after a few snags the wedding went great, reception hall was gorgeous (thanks to me and my bridesmaids) and the food was great. The event staff was rude to my guests… all in all it was beautiful, only because me and my family made it that way. I could've gone without unnecessary stress during planning and on the day of. Only use if you have a wedding planner so you don't have to work with them directly and you'll have the most amazing wedding ever.

Went to check out the inn as a wedding venue. The place looks excellent, and the staff was very friendly/helpful.

The conversion of an old mill into a hotel creates a memorably unique design. The lobby is very cozy, and the room is comfortable although the furniture is old, fitting the theme of the inn. The bed is very comfortable, though admittedly I tend to like soft beds as they have here. My only issue is that my room shares a wall with the elevator shafts used by the businesses upstairs and the elevators are loud when operational.
