The location, location, location is everything. Great staff, people and Preston’s restaurant. Very comfortable beds on top of an amazing outdoor heated pool and hot tubs. Oh yeah, there’s a Spa that has the best Masseuses in Vermont. Quiet late night for great sleep 💤

Great experience at Grand and the slopes. The SPA and pool were our pit stop everyday after snowboarding and before dining. The area is amazing, many restaurants and stores 1 mi far. The restaurant on top of the mountain has stunning views and delicious food. Next season we will be back for sure.

Great place to spend a long weekend.

Went in July. The staff was amazing. They were so happy to be back to work. Everything is limited due to the pandemic, but we expected that so it didn’t bother us.
Rooms: Got to see them cleaning some rooms. They cleaned everything! And then the rooms were sealed.
Pool: only open a few hours a day for reservations only. 90 min only 10 in pool and 10 on deck. Some large families would book 2-3 slots a day which rotted for others since for most days it was only open til 5:30. Not the resorts fault. Shout out to JEREMY at the pool. You are awesome!
Preston’s: Sat outside. Amazing food. Waitress, forgot her name, she was awesome and so happy to be back.
Staff at front desk: you rock. Witnessed people get angry at you guys, lie, and be totally disrespectful. You all remained kind and courteous the whole time.
Cons: Things aren’t as it was a year ago (outside plantings not taken care of). However we are in a pandemic so totally expected.

Nice Hotel Friendly Staff Beautiful Pool & Spa. Bar service would be nice to add at the pool area … Clean Rooms, just a pain to go all the way to the bathroom in our suite, it’s all the way down 21 steps and no mirrors in the upstairs living quarters.
The Food at Breakfast wasn’t good at all, pancakes thin as paper and over cooked and the steak was also hard as a board, over cooked.
Other than that though we liked the place and will return.

This hotel is amazing! Great amenities and an even nicer hotel staff. If you are looking for the ultimate in on mountain ski hotel with a hot tub and pool this is the place! Definitely an amazing stay and well worth it!

Great location and amenities! A few steps to the slopes, convenient ski valet, great bar and restaurant, spa, and a cozy common area fireplace. My favorite amenity … the nicely heated pool that is accessed from the inside! Ingenious design!

Prices skyrocket in the winter but become very reasonable later in the season. They offer a discount for season pass holders but that requires a phone call and can't be booked online. Some 1 br apartments have smart layout and easily work as 2 separate rooms. The fitness center is nice, pool has a good view but water temperature varies. Saunas are so-so.

Great location on the mountain. Pool and hot tub area is fantastic. Rooms (suites) were spacious and well equipped. Great customer service. Adventure center was fun for the kids. Only slight negative was that there is really no food /bar on site that is open during the day in summer.

It was a fantastic experience! Beautiful vistas, wonderful service, and great atmosphere. Rooms were clean and comfortable with all the amenities you'd expect. Food was great and drinks were just as nice. I'd recommend Killington resort!

Stayed at the same resort years ago. It's very well kept, and has a lot to offer for Adults & Kids. The rooms were very nice/clean! The only problem I experienced, was the room A. C. Kept shutting off on It's own during the night, and it would get extremely hot. The service was fantastic!

As usual, the service is super friendly and courteous. The environment is very conducive to relax and enjoy the beautiful green mountains It is a first class hotel with all of the amenities. Plenty to do or just unwind.

This is a beautiful hotel in a quintessential Vermont location. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the food delicious and reasonably priced. The area has lots to offer in all seasons.

Great services and facilities. Hotel staff very present and kind. Preston's (on site restaurant) needs more staff. Long wait for breakfast and not good communication between restaurant staff and hotel staff. Otherwise great location! Highly recommend!

We were attending a conference. Many of the rooms have Murphy beds, which some of the guests complained were too small, I did not have a problem though. The food was pretty typical of conference experience no raves from my counterparts.

About the wedding venue aspect only: the ballroom is very spacious, with a lot of staff to help with catering and decorating for the wedding. Screens are available inside the ballroom. Not many windows unfortunately. They offer a lot of assistance in terms of decorations and changes to the menu. One thing with the outside ceremony section though is that there's a pool right near the event that's open during the ceremony, so it's not very private. The area for the ceremony has an emergency road that cuts the area short, so it's not very spacious. There aren't many places for photo opportunity beside the bridge and the golf course. There are many positives about this venue for a wedding, but you have to consider the negatives, many are deal breakers.

My folks have a place here. I got married here. They treat you like kings. The pool is awesome in the winter and if you like extreme sports the dirt biking is a must try.

Loved this resort! Great rooms, excellent service, convenient mountain access and very close to local restaurants and grocery stores. The outdoor pool and hot tub were amazing. Absolutely loved our stay! We are dying to return this December for another great trip!

The price for the room was ridiculous and not worth the price we paid (not having a proper bed setup and the kitchen table at the foot of the bed). We expected more for the price. The reason I am rating this 4 stars and not 3 is the convenience of having the hotel right over the bridge from the ski lifts. Also, many who stay here seem to be veterans who come year after year which makes it feel like a big family. We will probably be back, but will request a different room setup for $300 something/night!

Some bad reviews almost dissuaded us. This place was great. Rooms were nice and modern. Breakfast was great (awesome omlets Sam! ) The convenience was perfect and the heated out door pool/hottubs was a perfect compliment to skiing! Plenty of restaurants close by! Highly recommend!

Nice place, great view of the condo. A little old but it does the trick.

Great facilities but poor service and staff. They are inflexible with checkout even on a Sunday. I came for a conference with over 200 people where the hosts spent over $100k for the event. And the hotel staff were unable to extend checkout more than noon for all people at the event so we had to pay for an extra night despite only staying till 3 or 4pm. If you have an unlimited budget and want convenience then this is the place to go in Killington.

My sons stayed overnight on Saturday and snowboarded all day Sunday. The manager, Duane, was outstanding in providing customer satisfaction and allowed them to soak in the jacuzzi after a day on the slopes. Next year I will give them a full weekend as they were very satisfied with the room, mountain and amenities.

This is my second time staying here. The hotel is very nice, rooms were spacious and clean. The lifts are right across the bridge from the resort and can't get any closer. At the end of the day when you come in they'll hold your ski/snowboards as well. They have a nice gym, pool, sauna. The outdoor heated pool is amazing after a long day on the slopes. I also had food at the newly renovated restaurant and it was very good as well as the breakfast buffet 2 days in a row. I loved the make your own omelettes. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This resort is clean and beautiful, I'm a clean freak & this place does a good job. Also the staff is incredibly efficient and very nice. It was my 1st time in Vermont and in the mountains and 1st time snowboarding, I took a couple lessons and can't wait to come back one day. Thanks Killington, Stacey from Detroit.

The amenities at the Killington Grand are very nice, they an amazing pool and nice spa. Booking was a little frustrating and I feel like more information about our stay could have been provided. Be prepared for some surprises unless you know exactly what questions to ask.

Beautiful and comfortable. The best location!

Our day started with a shuttle not arriving on time and we had to wait for it in bitter cold for 45 min. We prepaid for our kids full day ski school but weren't able to make it in the morning. We brought kids for second half of the day which starts at 12:45. Staff was unfriendly and we were told that my kids spots are not availble. We asked for refund and got nothing. We wanted to warm up in a Ramshed Lodge with kids, no hot chocolate, machine out of order. We miss skiing in Colorado… for the same price you get consistent, high quality service from friendly staff.

Went here for an interseason convention. I didn't stay in the hotel proper, but I was surprised by the amenities available when I passed through. The pool behind looked well-heated and people were enjoying it in 40 degree weather. The staff and concierge was very friendly and helpful. The property is very clean and well-kept. There's a full service restaurant and a cafeteria at the Snowshed lodge within walking distance.

We stayed in a condo. It was wonderful. Beautiful views and great space! Our place had 3 whirlpool baths and a sauna which were all fabulous. Our only complaint is that there was billiards paraphernalia (balls, chalk, sticks) but no pool table! Took 1 star off for lack of a pool table. But overall, great experience.

Rooms are nice and clean. Service is friendly and accommodating. Beautiful scenery. Nice salt water pool along with a big fitness area, a spa and massage area. Good menu and nice bar at the Preston inside the hotel.

The hotel has nice rooms with lots of space. We have a full kitchen with plenty of dishes, lots, and pans. The two hot tubs and the pool are outside but heated so you can use them year round. As expected rates are pricey but our group gets a good discount.

The Killington Grand Resort Hotel is the ideal destination resort. If it's just a simple getaway or a more structured vacation, the Grand is the place to be. In my case, I'm here for a conference, but I always look forward to the hospitality and warmth offered here. With spacious living areas, a newly renovated lobby adding a new rustic touch, the Grand has much to offer. I'd highly recommend you see for yourself!

A beautiful resort hotel. Clean and modern. Our room overlooks the pool, hot tubs, pond and slopes. The staff is very professional, friendly and helpful.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, lovely seeing. Lots to do. Enjoyed the gondola ride to the top of the mountain.

Second stay at this amazing hotel. Our room was immaculate and even smelled good. The bed was amazing and had the best night sleep ever. We ate in their restaurant and both dishes we ordered were delish but my husband's sweet pea ravioli with prosciutto was amazing! The flavors out of this world! The front desk clerks were super nice to and because I was there for business allowed us to have an extended or late Check-out. Again, second visit there and overall super impressed. Will be going back.

Just spent Labor Day weekend there. Not a good experience but not terrible. An after party from a wedding a few rooms down the hall kept us awake all night. Security spoke to them after I called and complained but it didn't do any good. The next morning the remnants of the partying group were still scattered about the lobby areas. Also, all the servers seem to be in a grumpy mood.

I stayed at the Trail Creek lodges, which are owned and operated by the Grand Resort Hotel. I checked in at the hotel, but my condo was about a quarter mile down the street. The condo was huge, and as nice as you would need for any summer of ski vacation. I had one roommate, we each had our own bedroom, and there was another bedroom that went unused. It's a very quick drive to the K1 lodge, but definitely not walkable. The only downside was that I was not allowed to use the (way way better) gym at the hotel even though they owned the lodges and I checked in there.

Under renovation (Aug 2017). Lovely area. Staff were pleasant and accommodating. Food in the on-site restaurant was very good. Outside seating was nice with a view of the mountain and pool. Lots of outdoor activities available for the entire family.

The rooms are great. The beds are so comfortable! We attended a wedding and it was organized and so much fun. Great event space.

Rooms here are spacious, clean, and updated! The staff is betty friendly, helpful, and overall accommodating to its guests. The front desk is under renovation, and even still check in went smoothly. Love coming every year!

We truly appreciate the above and beyond customer service he extended to us and is part of the reason I can't wait to come back! The view from the room were amazing, and while we didn't eat at Preston's the cocktails we had were delicious! Nothing to say about the pool other than exactly what I wanted with amazing views! The renovation did not get in our way in the least bit and I can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done. See you soon Killington, it was a blast!

First off Clinton was extremely helpful and kind. Everyone was pleasant and the place is clean, except our coffee mugs were dirty, no biggie. The pool & hot tub were excellent after skiing and boarding. Checking out gear went smoothly. Housekeeping was responsive when we found that we had tracked mud into our room. Breakfast was bangin'! I never eat complimentary breakfast but this one, this one is delicious, thank you! Preston's was OK. I love food and this place just fell short for us. No big deal. We took the shuttle to Longview and that place was great! One downside that no one could help us with was the family of gorillas that were in the room above us. My god were they stomping about. I would get a room on the third floor next time or a room without a room above. Do not forget your earplugs. We will be back.

I love this hotel! Right by the slopes, outdoor pool and hot tub, spa, gym, arcade, amazing restaurant! It makes the stay so convenient! I love that we don't need to drive anywhere (not to mention the complimentary valet) because everything need is here. They even sell beer and wine in the shop: We come here every year! Our absolute favorite!

The condos are all pretty nice, really clean and well kept. The only issue I have is that by August they have the a/c off and with the windows closed it gets real stuffy. The cool Vermont air makes up for it, though.

This is only based on dinner, we didn't stay here. Food was very good (smoked salmon club), not too horribly expensive. Setting was OK — a convention was going on so we couldn't sit outside. Service was very, very slow and mediocre, from indifferent host to friendly, but slow server. There are better places to eat in town.

Vermont claims they aren't corporate run. Liars. Killington, VT, formerly Sherburne, VT until a corporation changed its name to Killington, came in and took over. Killington is dominated by a West Coast ski giant, that uses "Killington" to disguise that it's actually part of a massive West Coast business. So Killington essentially is the name of a town and the name of a corporation. They own much of the mountain, many of the apartment complexes, and property surrounding the hotel. Had no idea a corporation could own a MOUNTAIN, and in supposedly not corporate VERMONT? Yeah, they don't really have Walmart, but they do have others like Killington. Vermont can butter it up as much as they'd like but they truly are a corporate white collar run state. Killington is a prime example of how Corporate America operates. Why do you think Bernie was exposed to as a fake? So the Grand Hotel disguises itself as a privately owned family style hotel, when in fact they are part of a massive ski corporation not based in Vermont. So you should expect to see identical impersonal corporate like customer service when coming here. I'm not saying this hotel sucks — it probably will meet your needs — but if you want a family style experience — don't come here.

Preston's is a nice bar… service was excellent. Atmosphere of hotel and bar very nice would love to stay here is the occasion ever presented itself.

Excellent staff, great room. The heated pool was great for the kids, the attendant even brought our girls Popsicles and puddle jumpers. The peak restaurant seemed expensive but once you take your bite of the food you'll be OK with remortgaging your home to eat more. Overall a great experience, wish the weather had been better but that's not their fault and they had plenty to do despite the rain.

I like snowboarding :) killington offers a mountain with snow. When put together with the overnight hotel which has a hot tub. Equates to a amazeballs weekend.

Great ski resort! I went this past week (Feb. 2016), and the locals claimed it was the worst conditions they had had in 20 years. Although the lack of snow sucked, there were definitely still some great trails open, and the lack of lines at the bottom made it all worth it. Definitely a great place to visit!

The resort itself is very nice, I stayed in a multi-person condo and the condo is very clean and relatively updated. We were close to the trails which is convenient. The bed and couches are very comfortable and there is plenty of space for everyone to move around. There's one bathroom on the lower level and one on the top which I loved so multiple people can use the bathroom at the same time. I haven't had much experience with the service here cause I've only been here for two days but so far it's been great!

Visited the Killington Grand for the annual Vermont Holiday Festival. Wonderful time with something for everybody, and the ambience put me in the best kind of holiday mood!

I always enjoy my stays here. It's never for skiing so I can't reference any of the related amenities, but the resort itself is great.

I attended a conference there, so I can't comment on the rooms or service. But the food was excellent, and their dedication to improvement is evident. There were about 5 or 6 different maintenance projects going on in preparation for the upcoming ski season. I was very impressed.

Great views, salt water pool, and on site spa! If you're staying for the weekend and eat a clean food diet, definitely make sure to shop first though. The in room kitchenettes in the suites can make sharing group meals a great experience if you have your own preferred provisions.

The visit started with complimentary valet, easy check in and a fantastic room. Round the trip of with the heated salt water pool and hot tubs. Tried the spa last year, and was impressed. All around great experience!

I had the pleasure of staying in a single room at the main lodge during a company offsite. While my room was a single, I did sleep on a murphy bed (totally fine by me) and appreciated the large bathroom and toiletries (great lotion, forget the brand)! The room itself was very clean if not a bit outdated with a few slats broken in the porch door. I love that there are patios, though you won't get much use of them in the height of winter.

The condos at Trail Creek are comfortable and spacious. Kitchens are equipped with an assortment of appliances, living spaces are cozy, and bedrooms are can accommodate groups of friends or families. Bathroom is split into two (toilet and sinks in one, shower and hot tub in the other) for convenience. Condos are outdated but maintained. Think value over luxury.

Best in the east, period. Actually, Jay Sugarbush, MRG and Cannon are sweet as well. Ski hard.

First two days stayed at The Grand Hotel, then moved to Trail Creek condos. The hotel has nice rooms and is closer to the main ski base, and they had the murphy bed. The condo was a big spacious house, with nice kitchens, but very bad mattresses, specially for spending the night after a day of ski. The ski instructors were very good, except for the one I got on the first day.

I was here on a work related conference. The staff here were superfriendly. I took a two day ski lesson. I went from never skiied before to doing the snowshed run on the second day, without falling. The instructor we had, Brad, was fantastic. He gave individual attention, showed and tested us on the proper techniques. I couldn't be happier with the progress we made. The lessons are not just for absolute beginners, there are lessons for intermediate-to-advanced skiers who are planning to hit the black diamonds. Besides skiing I would strongly recommend taking a dip in the outdoor heated pool, and hot tubs. I had a very tiring drive up Killington but after sitting in the pool for 5 minutes, all my troubles melted away, and I was charged and ready to hit the slopes. If you do any skiing in new england, definitely make Killington a premiere destination, and the Grand Resort the place you stay. (Oh. Be sure to check out the Wobbly Barn down the street, simply the juiciest porterhouse steak ever. ).
