Always have to come when we are in Vermont, never a bad meal. Tried the spicy tuna tar tar and it was out of this world, already thinking about the next time to get it! Salmon and burger were also great. Love this place.

I care to Hyde Away off The Long Trail 3 years ago and back again this month. It was like walking into home again, there is just something about this place that is special. Knowing this I even brought 3 new trail friends with me and they also had a great stay for a great price using the above the bar bunks/hostel (I did that last time but this time just wanted a private room). Everything from the room to the food to the bar scene to service was awesome. Only problem is I wish I could stay longer! Thank you Hyde Away for another GREAT trail break!

Service was incredibly slow. After sitting there at least five mutes the waitress finally came over. We didn't get served for almost an hour and walked out after the people next to us that arrived long after we did got their food. Eat somewhere else in town.

First time the other day, we had a large party (8) plus kids running around, sometimes at the table and sometimes using the adjacent playground. Staff was great, both patient and understanding. Food was also excellent.

Room ok but no AC. A little pricey for what it was. Restaurant food looks good but my grilled cheese was baked and dry, would not order that again.

One of the best burgers I have ever had. I added carmelized onions, bacon, and a fried egg. It was amazing! The seasoned French fries are some of the best I've ever had. The service was stellar. My wife's grilled cheese and tomatoes bisque were 5/5 according to her too.

Understaffed & very poor service. We left after sitting at our table for 15 minutes with no wait staff coming to our table once. Very very dissapointed and still very hungry. By seeing the reviews for this place it’s not what we expected! hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

We booked here last minute, needing a place to stay after visiting Burlington for a day. The room was wonderful, the staff friendly, and the area beautiful. Honestly couldn't be happier. Strongly recommend a stay here.

Great place! Didn't stay as far as the hotel but the restaurant was excellent! Food was perfect and the restaurant itself was cozy.

So cozy and food is great. Burgers meatloaf and maple chicken dinner are so tasty. The dark chocolate mouse & homemade raspberry ice cream were to die for. Have been here three times and will definitely be back.

A traditional Vermont a pres tavern, that surprises you with excellent food. Way better than the pub good I was expecting. Plenty of delicious gluten free options too. Had a delicious baked Cod topped with crab salad, while my partner had perfectly done lamb chops. Prices are reasonable if you're used to Resort prices or living in the city, but are a bit steep if you're a local. Priced fairly though considering the quality of the food.

Quaint restaurant with great food. The server, John, was very friendly and provided great recommendations. I highly recommend this restaurant but reservations are needed in season.

We went as a family last night, one of my daughters ordered the entree of poutine and brisket which was mainly fries with very little beef brisket. Another daughter ordered a grilled cheese that was so over cooked it was just shy of being burnt. I had asked about the butternut squash ravioli which was served with lobster and sautéed spinach to see if I could get it without the lobster. They said yes but the price would remain the same. I opted not to order this meal (I don't eat lobster). It wasn't terrible but it also wasn't great.

My boyfriend and I just went for New Years Eve. Not 9nly were they extremely courteous but also accommodating. We did not make reservations … we forgot as we were caught up skiing all weekend. Anyways, they set us up with a nice table. We only waited 40 min… mind you no reservations and it was new years. Our food amd service was exceptional! I order the prime rib and my boyfriend ordered the lamb. Both were cooked perfect. Dessert was outstanding, order the maple pecan bread pudding. We will definitely be making out way back there. I highly recommend this place. The outside of restaurant looks typical farm hoyse, but once you are inside it's so cozy and tastefully decorated. Loved this place so much!
