Utterly fabulous, clean, charming and sympathetically furnished 1826 building with a very friendly B&B service. Perfectly situated within walking distance of the lovely small town of Waterbury where there are numerous great places to eat — and three microbreweries within staggering distance of each other. Waterbury also boasts a restored railway station and a charming 3 mile loop riverside walk and is within driving distance of a number of attractions.
Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable hosts, lovely home cooked breakfast, roaring fire in a lounge filled with helpful books and guides.
Highly recommended.

The atmosphere was great, the staff were great, the room was great, the bar was great (thanks Chrissy! ), the bar patrons were great and the food was… you guessed it… great. Thanks for a short but wonderful stay!

This is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The rooms are quaint and comfortable and the staff couldn't be lovelier! Great breakfast too and quite close to town.

Accommodations were in great shape. The service was kind and professional. They gave tips on local eateries and the breakfast at the place was high roller. Great food here!

Beautiful place, friendly staff and close to everything. Waterbury has become a destination all its own and The Old Stagecoach is the perfect starting and ending point to a great day of sightseeing and fun. I’d go back just for the breakfast.

This is a lovely spot to stay and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area. Very comfortable and clean room with good AC, I was in and comfortable bed. It's a charming building with interesting history. Staff is pleasant and breakfast is well done with good selection. The neighborhood is small but lots of restaurant options within walking distance of 5 minutes. It's quiet at night both inside and outside. I will return for sure.

We were riding on motorcycle through Vermont making our way back to New Hampshire it was getting late in the day stumbled across this Inn decided to check to see if they had a room they did we booked it beautiful room very unique Inn would you recommend anybody to stay here. We cleaned up got our second wind and went into town which was a two-minute walk from the Inn had an awesome time. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding! The innkeeper's were great lots of good information about places to go downtown. Do not hesitate to stay here will definitely come back!

Amazing place to stay. Was a quick walk to multiple resturants. Room and beds were comfy. Free brekfast in the morning was incredible and the staff was super friendly. If I'm in the area I would drive out of my way to stay there.

Having never visited the area, we are so glad for Google reviews like this. The Old Stagecoach Inn is a gem. John and his crew did a great job of welcoming and taking care of us. His recommendation for dinner was a 5 star, too. We stayed in which was perfect as we were traveling with our daughter who is in grad school. Very comfortable rooms and bedding. And the breakfast was more than we expected. Top quality and plenty of it! When we make it back up to Vermont, we will be sure to stay here again.

I have stayed here multiple times and in multiple rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful, Max the dog is absolutely adorable, and the breakfast is the best brunch I have ever had. The inn itself is charming with endless novelties to look at. We would stay here for the breakfast alone and will continue to come back!

We were told of the small cocktail lounge here and were not disappointed. Was wonderful to sit and talk to some of the locals in a highly conversational atmosphere. Very low key but so unique.

Great place to stay. Quaint bed and breakfast with super friendly owner and staff. There is also the great perk of their being a bar right in the Inn where you can get Heady Topper, Focal Banger, and Sip of Sunshine. Included Breakfast is fantastic. Also, the location is super convenient to Stowe and Burlington.

Thank you all so much for a wonderful time! We enjoyed ourselves very much, the evening fires and just being able to spend time with others in the Inn was great! You don’t get that feeling at chain hotels!
Breakfast was absolutely wonderful! So many choices, we left for our daily adventures completely stuffed! Max and Sophie are wonderful too! Our girls were quit taken with both. The entire staff is top notch! They make you feel like you are visiting with friends. Our room was very spacious for our family of 4, we had plenty of room and having the private bathroom was great!
We hope to be back soon! Thank you John and the gang for a wonderful time! Great way to spend an extended birthday!

This is my fourth stay here and I have always had a pleasant and wonderful experience. The omelettes are amazing! Max is the sweetest little pooch.

Once you stay here you are part of an extended family. It just does not get any better. Once you have breakfast here you w I ll be looking for the same quality every other place you go. And sadly you will not find this quality at very many other places where ever you are from. John is a fantastic innkeeper and host. His father Jack will be missed by many.

Beautiful space, friendly service and phenomenal kitchen. Amazing. Patio is a great way to start the day reading. 19th century house with period furniture and charm. The staff are amazing people.

What an excellent place to stay. A very historic setting surrounded by some of the worlds greatest breweries. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (I didn't arrive till 11:00pm) and the breakfast was spectacular. I will definitely be coming back for another stay.

We were just planning a day trip to VT and decided to stay over and found this little Gem. My husband isn't normally a fan of B&B's but we both LOVED this place. Owners were very welcoming and attentive. The room was lovely and very clean and breakfast was spectacular. We will definitely stay here again! I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area.

This place is amazing. Definitely staying here again. The staff is friendly and the service just as good. Breakfast included is always a great plus, and you can walk to all the great bars in town. Located relatively close to great breweries as well.
