Dinner on the new, expanded deck outside was fabulous! Amazing food and drinks and a wonderful atmosphere and dining experience in Holderness at Squam Lake! Just remember to make dinner reservations well in advance!

Absolutely AMAZING! The staff are the best and the food is off the chart! These people welcomed us like they had known us forever! The food was wonderful, but the attention to detail and the service are really what brings it full circle! HIGHLY recommend!

Friendly people; clean, quiet, and comfortable room. They even packed me a breakfast to go!

If you have never been here I highly recommend it, the staff if so respectful and knowledgeable about the area and so far everything has been top notch from the room to the unbelievable food in the restaurant.

This is my favorite restaurant in the area. The setting is unlike any other, the food is amazing, how they bring in local products is awesome as well. Steve is the best server there is and makes it a fun and exciting experience each time. The options they offer for beverages too is second to none. They truly take pride in their business and make this such an enjoyable night out each and every time. Be sure to make reservations in advance!

Avocado toast, bacon, eggs, ham n egg nests, blueberry pancakes, salmon scrambled eggs,, delicious! (Yay for the protein! ) We always say, if you ever create a cook book we will be first in line!

The staff at Squam Lake Inn are AMAZING! They always make you feel special. The rooms are immaculate, the breakfasts are phenomenal, and the decor makes you feel at home. Also, make sure you get a reservation for dinner! Their food is fresh, local, and incredibly tasty! Thank you to everyone there for making our anniversary the best one ever!

Excellent meal and fantastic service.

We finally got the chance to stay at the inn after many visits to the restaurant. They went above any beyond and made our anniversary wonderful. The breakfast (which is included for guests only) is worth the stay alone. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Such a lovely atmosphere this Inn has. People who work for this Inn and people who are staying in this Inn looks very happy, friendly, kind and lovely. This trip will be my most favorite trip with my boyfriend for 2 years. I would love to try to copy this Inn style on my house.

We had a super relaxing trip to Squam Lake Inn! The inn keeper Debbie, her husband, and daughter Molly were perfect hosts with great recommendations of places to go. Our room was clean, beautiful, and had the softest sheets we have ever felt. Breakfast every day was a treat and we definitely felt like we were at home. I highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back soon!

Wow! We were here for 3 nights and just loved it! The rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but the dinner and drinks were incredible!

BEWARE: NOT A KID FRIENDLY PLACE! Supposedly says this on their website but I did not recall seeing anything about that when I booked. They did accommodate us after all but it wasn't a great way to start our stay. It's a cute place and food in the restaurant was pretty good. But it's not on the water and there are no lake views. We won't be returning anytime soon due to their no kids allowed policy.

The setting is quintessential, lake region New England. The property is immaculate and so well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast (included) and dinner (not included) at the Inn were exceptional. The dinner menu was extensive but not overwhelming. The cheese board, for starters was unique and flavorful. An excellent selection of cocktails, brews and wines and perfectly prepared entrees contributed to a wonderful dining experience. And I can't forget to mention the homemade ice cream sandwiches for dessert. Return trip? You better believe it!

The ribs were outstanding and lived up to their "fall off the bone" description. Steve, our waiter, made for a very enjoyable evening.

This Inn is one of my favorite places on earth. Heavenly scenery, charming and comfortable accommodations, attentive staff, delicious and hearty breakfasts and the Inn Kitchen + Bar is the best dining experience around! The food and craft cocktails are not to be missed. Down the hill is the Squam Lake Marketplace (same owners) which is a vacation destination in itself. Everything you need is in this store! Specialty food and drinks, beer/wine, gifts, house made baked goods, etc. Don't miss their famous ice cream sandwiches! So much to do and see around this pristine lake — hiking, swimming, boat tours, kayaking — a perfect vacation destination.

Looking for that extra special place to stay during the spring/summer/fall? Go no further! The folks at Squam Lake Inn do everything with a touch of class! Accommodations are quaint. Food & beverages are superb. And the staff are the best around. If you'd like a cocktail made with care by a mixologist, stop in for a seasonal drink special. I've spent every mother's day brunch here for the past 5 years and don't plan on changing that tradition. ❤

Dinner for four. Excellent service. Ribs were tough and not fall off the bone type.

A local favorite with great outdoor seating. Make sure to book a reservation and be prepared that they close the restaurant and bar relatively early… I believe they close around 9pm and stop taking guest even earlier! Food and cocktails are great but pricey.

Had dinner with a group of family and friends, the service was excellent, and the food was out of this world, we all had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the food.

I loved this place. The staff was delightful, smiles all around. One of the most pleasant check in/check out experiences. They have coffee and cookies around the clock in the lobby, books and movies you can borrow. Breakfast was downright gourmet! Portions were on the small side, but I loved the presentation, much better than I expected! This place is very well run, its clear they have not overlooked any detail.

After traveling around the county, visiting many wonderful B&B's, the Squam Lake Inn is still our favorite place to stay. The staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms are absolutely lovely decorated in old New England charm. We always know our meals will be prepared with the best locally grown ingredients. I have travelled the Maine coast and, without a doubt, the lobster rolls at the Inn just can't be beat. Our trips to New Hampshire are not complete without a visit to Squam Lake Inn. I was lucky enough to stay at this comfy B&B this Spring, because if not I am not sure I would have found their AMAZING restaurant otherwise. The Lobster BLT is a must! The best bacon and phenomenal crusty bread made it one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. They make their own ice cream sandwiches with fresh baked cookies and if you leave the area without enjoying one, you have truly missed out.
