Beautiful hotel. We were upgraded from a king room to a junior suite! We knew the room was going to be pretty luxurious when we saw it had a double door entrance. It’s a beautiful, quiet and LARGE hotel room. Since we’re going to be here for 3 nights, we were so grateful, especially since we didn’t ask for an upgrade. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant inside the hotel is very nice with good service and delicious food. It’s just wonderful.

Great location. Well maintained. Will be back.

I love this hotel. We always use double tree and they never disappoint. Customer service is good and hotel is just beautiful in and out. The pool is a little small though it gets crowded quickly so I never used it.

I had the absolute worst experience at this hotel. My dad and I spent a lovely, but long, day in Salem. We arrived at the hotel at approximately 10:45PM, eager to check-in and crawl into our beds. At check-in we were politely informed that rooms were still being cleaned. I was hoping it was a joke. Unfortunately, we were told we would have to wait 30 minutes as they were understaffed. Working in customer service myself, I understand that not everything always goes according to plan. I firmly believe that if a business can not fulfill what they have promised in return for currency, there should be something they should do to let the customer or guest know they are still valued. DoubleTree-Hilton dropped the ball. When I asked what could be done as check-in time was 3PM, I was told that nothing could be done and I would have to wait. I politely explained that I can understand being understaffed but it honestly isn’t my problem. Still — nothing could be done. I went as far to contact Hilton via chat and was told that I would be contacted within 3-5 business days. Upset, tired, and feeling like more of an inconvenience, rather than a guest, my dad and I finally get to our room. I quickly got ready for bed, as we have an early flight in the morning, only to find a HAIR in my bed. I would have rather paid an extra $100 to stay at the Hampton up the road. Please understand that if staying here, they don’t see their guests as those who should be valued. Avoid at all costs.

Room 1114: July 30 2018 Nice experience. Front desk service was good. Room was clean, odor-free and AC was working well. Outside spaces with tables/chairs/umbrellas and gas fire pit were super. Nice view outside on evening Pool was fine and kids enjoyed it. There are nice tennis courts and basketball spaces on parking. There is a volleyball court on sand but sand is too much coarse for feet. I’ll recommand this hotel to everybody.

Cozy and neat rooms, beautiful site and settings, nice pool. Very nice staff. Not giving it 5 stars because of my toilet! I don't know if it was just in my room but the toilet paper holder thingy is so close to the toilet seat that I have to sit sideways to pee. That and the shower head could be a little higher: my husband is 6 foot and couldn't stand directly underneath it. Other than that, I loved my stay. Will go again.

Beautiful hotel in the Boston Metro area. The rooms were very modern and clean, and the grounds were immaculate. The building is spread out over a large area so be prepared to walk a little bit. Good cookies at the front desk! I would stay here again without a second thought.

The DoubleTree hotel and setting absolutely beautiful. It's a large facility set in beautifully landscaped grounds. The room was lovely, well appointed, with comfortable beds, a large TV, mini-fridge, etc. The bathroom was equally nice. Very happy with our stay here. If I had one thing that could have been improved, it would be the complimentary coffee… typical hotel fare on that one (but certainly not a deal breaker). Would definitely stay here again.

Place/room was really clean and nice! I enjoyed that it was a "green" hotel. I was only bummed that they didn't have a free breakfast.

Quiet hotel, decent rooms, helpful staff. Not quite as up to date as some other hotels in the area, but a good experience nonetheless.

I had a reservation with this hotel at government rate. My travel agent mistakenly canceled the reservation. I realized she had canceled it within minutes and asked my agent to make the correction. The travel agent contacted the hotel management and the 1800 number within 15 minutes of the cancellation to reestablish the reservation at the previous rate. Hilton refused to reduce the rate from $165 to $150. I am now forced to stay at a hotel that is 15 minutes further away. I am a loyal Hilton Honors member and I find this disgraceful.

Friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms set in very quite surroundings. Ideal retreat from office after a hard day's work! The shuttle service makes getting around very easy and regardless, local amenities are just minutes away.

This is an okay hotel. It needs a lot of updating. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as a first choice when coming to this area. The pool was nice and warm for early April. Breakfast was just okay. They could have done much better. Navigating to and from my room, 3133, was a pain in the A$$. Hotel staff was friendly.

Great for conferences. I've been there several times and they are always very attentive and the serve good food. I've never stayed there overnight, so no comment on their rooms.

Staff was friendly! Especially as there was a blizzard and everyone needed to stay in for a day. Restaurant took time, but food was good and service, though short staffed, was friendly and as efficient as they were able. Nicely done!

The DoubleTree is a great place to stay! The free cookies are a nice perk and the staff has been helpful with suggestions of where to go to eat. The rooms are nice and clean. The fitness center and pool are in good shape too. The only downside is that it is a very flat layout, so it takes longer than you might expect to go to the fitness center or the lobby.

The staff are very nice "PAUL", helpful, smiling and well-welcoming, restaurant is good, clean.

Have stayed several times at this hotel. Parking is easy, and restaurants are nearby. Staff was polite and friendly. While not a new property, the rooms are spacious and clean. The biggest negative is that the hotel is rather sprawling, so it can be a several minute walk to ones room. Breakfast was typical DoubleTree. Would stay here again.

Had a great stay. Nice, quiet, and professional staff. The room was set up nice and bed is comfortable. The food at the restaurant inside was also tasted pretty good. I have no complaints, and I give it 5 star, which is exactly what you'd expect and should expect.

Nice location and attractive place. They had given my room to another guest but were able to find me a new one, I was not offered cookie on arrival, had to walk a quarter mile from the front desk to my room, room key card de synced on my second night.

This Doubletree is located very conveniently off the 128 belt and has multiple entrances for guests or conference participants. The lobby is very elegant and has cloak rooms for guest to store jackets, etc. I attended a sponsored event there and experienced a very finely-tuned staff for a plated lunch. The choices were standard, but the output was very good… chicken was great, ate the whole plate including garnishes. The beef entree (didnt have) looked great and cooked medium to satisfy many. A good location for a corporate party.

My husband and I wanted to stay just outside of Boston when we were visiting with our 1 year old. The DoubleTree was close to major roadways, and was a short 20-25 minute drive to the heart of downtown Boston. The hotel itself was very nice for the price, staff were extremely kind and helpful (cookies were amazing! ). We stayed in a king and the room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel was a warm welcome to our road trip on the east coast, as we had been in Airbnb's and a cabin previously. A comfortable king size bed recharged us for the rest of our trip. The hotel and surrounding area was quiet, there was even a wedding taking place one night and we were never disturbed. We hope to stay here again on our next trip to Boston.

Very nice reception staff. Spacious rooms and Bathrooms. Comfortable king size BEDS. Wi-fi throughout the hotel, free of Charge. A little older hotel but in very well maintained Condition. Free parking, not far from Burlington Mall (a very large shopping centre). The hotel is only accessible by car.

Hotel feels like it's in the middle of nowhere. The walk to the rooms feels like a hike in distance. If you enter from the closest door to the rooms, you have to walk through private events in progress. Other then that, clean room, warm cookies, friendly staff. I accidentally forgot something in the room after check out and when I called, the front desk went immediately to retrieve my item. Beautiful event venue. Breakfast was a little pricy, but good selection and great taste.

Absolutely amazing. Fall foliage here is beautiful. Rooms were so cozy and comfortable. King size room had a closet, safe, and refrigerator! Water pressure was perfect and the bed was so comfortable! Great customer service from check in to check out! This is 30 minutes away from Salem and very light traffic so great place to stay!

Beautiful hotel surrounded by the woods, away from the city traffic, but with many good food choices near by. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely would stay there again.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay on a weekend getaway to Boston. The hotel staff was accommodating and friendly and the room was excellent. Room service was prompt and offered delicious choices. Would highly recommend and will be our go-to hotel in the Boston area.

The rooms are nice, and the staff is very friendly. From the time I checked in, I was offered fresh baked cookies for free. They have a restaurant, tennis courts indoor and outdoor, outdoor seating area, pool, and extensive fitness center. I will definitely be back.

I have stayed here on two different occasions. Hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and very helpful. Nice heated swimming pool. Bed is very comfortable, bathrooms are very nice and modern. Ample storage. Price is very reasonable. If you need a clean, friendly and affordable place to stay, this is the place.

Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. I've stayed here a few times for business and don't really have anything bad to say about it. I will say that the on-site restaurant is nothing to get excited about. I've only been daring enough to try a few burgers and none of them were good (over cooked, missing ingredients etc). That said, there are enough places outside the hotel to eat, so it's not a big deal to me. I'll continue to book at this hotel when I'm in the area.

It's always spotless and the people are nice. The restaurant is fine but there is an absolutely lovely patio to enjoy your drink on in good weather. The hotel itself is huge and sprawling and very strangely shaped, so be prepared for a hike from the lobby, but there are plenty of other entrances and parking. There's also a private running train on the property in addition to all the other normal amenities. Close to plenty of restaurants, highway, and local businesses. Plus free chocolate chip cookies and bottles of water.  

Such a wonderful place to stay. Sadly our stay was only one night long, but it was one of the best hotels we stayed at while staying in the Boston area. The hotel is huge, fancy and very clean. When we arrive for check in the lady at the front desk was extremely friendly. We were offered complimentary warm cookies and bottles of water. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. The bathroom was fancy, spacious and clean. The rooms seemed to be extremely sound proof, because I couldn't hear any noise from rooms around me. The beds were very comfy and pillows were so soft and comfy too. I really enjoyed my stay here, wish I could have stayed longer. The only downside is that there wasn't any complimentary breakfast. But that didn't bug me much since the room and everything else was so clean and well kept and I enjoyed my stay either way! Would definitely recommend.

Double Tree has been a pleasant place to stay. The rooms are clean, quiet and well kept; the garden courtyard is a pleasant surprise. The chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch. I would gladly stay here again.

I went for the mother's day brunch. The food was very good. The service was decent for a buffet. My family has been going every year. The hotel is very nice.

Ate at Sora the restaurant. Service was good, food was good as well. Didn't stay there so not much else to add.

The room itself was clean, great value for last minute booking. Other guests in the hotel were not courteous. Had to ask teeny boppers several times to stop running up and down and singing in the hallway late into the night. Hotel did nothing to rectify the situation.

Convenient location. Friendly front desk. Flexible check in time. Nice and neat high end room. Great food selection in hotel restaurant. Highly recommended.

Yikes! Keep looking. This hotel in in dire need of either a remodel or a teardown. I don't know whats worst, the long, long, long walks to eat breakfast/lobby or the confusing maze like design and the elevators that do not connect to other floors. Who designed this place?

Nice room, very clean and comfortable. Huge bed and comfortable pillows. My only complaint is that breakfast wasn't included, and the staff in the restaurant was extremely slow even though we were the only ones not getting the buffet.

Love the staff and the cookie. Room is next to mechanical so loud in hallway. Nice otherwise. Always stay here for business.

Great service upon arrival. Room is neat and clean. Location was great, I am a light sleep, and was able to sleep through the night without getting up.

A convenient location North of Boston. Minutes away from shopping and eateries and about a 25 minute drive into the city. Rooms are well furbished and quiet. Restaurant, pizza kitchen, and bar offer options if you don't want to travel out.

I had a very positive experience here. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The facility was clean and comfortable. I also attended a function and the hotel staff there was friendly and efficient. The room was nice and fully as expected.

I spend almost 200 nights a year in a hotel room… mostly at Hilton properties. This review is not intended for Hilton properties generally, this is intended for the Doubletree Hotel Boston/Bedford Glen. 99 out of 100 stays are perfectly fine. Tonight after a coast to coast red eye flight followed by a 14 hour work day, I couldn't get food delivered to my room… the delivery person was stopped at the front desk. The phone call I received indicated that food delivered to my room is against hotel policy. Apparently that doesn't apply to room service. Considering that a caesar salad with steak is $26.00, I can see the need for the policy. They did call to ask me to come and collect my food, but after unpacking and changing I didn't feel like making the trek back to the lobby. Note to self… stay elsewhere or remember to pack a lunch.

Loved the location of the hotel. So close to Boston but yet in a very beautiful "country" setting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also loved the patio & fire pit. The bed was super comfortable and the housekeeper did an excellent job. Will definitely stay here again when returning to the area.

Excellent for the price paid for this weekend of Easter…
