Nice and clean, friendly, greatly priced,
Stay here every year!

We booked our room during peak season so the price was HIGH! But it is like stepping back in time. Such a quaint family run motel! Very friendly staff. Enjoyed our stay here very much. The beds are a little too firm and no microwave, coffee maker or breakfast. But so cute!

Dated decor but super clean and very friendly. If you're looking for no frills, cheap and accommodating, this is your place.

I applied online the morning of our stay on President weekend, the busiest time of the year here. We traveled from MA the night before and our previous arrangements ended up terrible. I arrived with my very large family of 6. Upon arriving I called to see what the earliest time we could get into the room, granted this was at 9:30am… We just needed to leave other place. I spent the night with my 6 year old son whom was sick all night. The 2 women in the office where so very nice. They said come right over. In my frustration I only put 2 people on the reservation. She said no worries we will fix it. They accommodated us so nicely and changed plans around so we could fit with our own aerobed. The place is very clean. The bathrooms are spotless! Thank you so much to those 2 ladies whom made our weekend a remembered one. I would stay again!

It's not the newest or 'nicest' hotel, but the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the owners are sweet. All at a great price.

Retro but clean and cozy, just like your grandma’s house. The owners are so nice that you will be glad to give them your money. I hope they never redecorate because it’s so unique!

Little piece of heaven. Really clean. You can hear a pin drop. Best night sleep I had in years. Beautiful little spot. Short walk to River. Loved it.

Excellent location. Within walking distance of a lot of bars and shops. Great price. The people running this place are extremely nice. The bed/ pillows are not very comfortable and there is no shampoo/ conditioner so beware — you should bring your pen. The walls are a little thin too. Overall a good experience.

Awesome place … very well kept very dated but fun place with walk trails to the saco river and a heated out door pool … had a very good time here…

The room was clean and spacious. However, when you walk into the room, you are transported back to the 1960s, from the wall paper (which is on both the walls and the ceiling), to. The chairs, desk, lamps, and the bathroom. The TV was amazingly 21st-century technology! The only downside to our stay were the beds. They were very springy and uncomfortable. Too bad, they aren't 21st-century technology.

This Motel is like a time machine where you go back to a time when people were friendly, life was easier and decompressing after a long day was simple as well. I'd definitely come back here!

The staff was amazing, the place was huge and clean, and I really have no complaints. Definitely recommended for a quick cheap yet clean place to stay! They even had a pool which was really nice.

I was here visiting a friend who is staying and found the accommodations to be really nice. Very quaint and homie and not stiff like some other hotels and motels can be. Very welcoming!

Was going to arrive a hair after check-in, and they were a bit cranky about it. But I do get that. Otherwise, clean and great location.

Quaint rooms close to the mountains. Ms. Junge is such a sweet lady and makes you feel right at home.

Inexpensive and spotless but had a "grandma's house" musty smell. Uncomfortable beds with flat pillows. Their saving grace was their staff. The front desk was helpful and gracious. The cleaning woman was super cool, energetic, and extremely accommodating. She was the main reason for the motel receiving three stars rather than two.

It was one of the cheapest motels available, but very clean and comfortable. The innkeep is a true sweetheart. Perfect old fashioned motel.

Very nice old style motel. With wonderful innkeepers and clean room and bath. A great stay this freezing rainy weekend. Glad I'm here two nights.

Very clean comfortable basic old fashioned place. But no breakfast or shampoo. But the pool is great 8 feet deep not sure if diving is allowed but then again who cares. Inexpensive. Nice place.
