Had a wonderful stay at Beach & King. The host was very accommodating of both my specific dietary requests and my odd departure times. He was always available by phone or text to answer questions. The room was the best. Had a nice view of the ocean and two comfy chairs to read in. And the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it. The location was perfect too, both for walking around Rockport and for commuting into the city — the train is just 1/4 mile away. I'd highly recommend the Inn for a single or couple, and it would be a great get-away for families or groups of friends.
The owners were so nice and hospitable. The Inn is clean, light and beautiful. The furniture is very comfortable. It’s right near the beach and you can fall asleep and wake up to hearing the waves crash. Even their dog is sweet and very friendly but they make sure to keep him in the back and quiet. In fact I wish I saw him more (dog lover). The room we had was small but very cute and quaint. We were out most of the time anyway so we just needed a place to sleep. There’s a place 2 doors down called Nates where you can get breakfast or lunch and the food is good. Also the owners will ask you if you have any dietary needs and will accommodate to those needs if possible. We will go back there in a second. Wonderful weekend.
