The rooms are also very outdated and our bathroom was nasty.

Front desk has been most helpful, the room is spacious with a beautiful view, and the food from the restaurant has been excellent.

The staff was fabulous. The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a million dollar view. Everything you need Is right on property. We are definitely booking again for next year.

Felt very safe here! A few people are still clueless about covid but that’s not the resorts fault. Donna and Maureen at the front desk were fantastic. Room attendants were very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed it so much we added an extra night!
Lake side room was the best choice! Totally worth it.

Good food and good service will win every time. They have all of that here.

I made a three day reservation here for a “baby moon” after a friend highly recommended this place. I thought it was a bit pricey since it was off season, and couldn’t enjoy all the outdoor amenities but we booked anyways.
Room was dated, floors were slanted, walls were thin, but, location was good and it was on the ocean, so we tried to ignore all that. We arrived on Thursday and we were out to dinner Friday when I got a phone call that we had a family emergency and needed to go home immediately. We went back to the hotel, packed up our stuff, notified the staff we had an emergency and would not be staying the last two nights, and headed home. After things settled down at home, I called the resort in hopes of at least getting a refund for one of the two nights. They put me through to the general manager. I left a message and never received a call back. I called them a couple days later again and was told that since I booked through Expedia, I had to go through them. I called Expedia who was finally able to get a hold of somebody after four days, and was informed “due to their reservation policy, my request had been denied.

Fun place with great amenities, especially for children.

Great place for families and it was located in the middle of everything. We had a cottage so we ate in the room for breakfast and ate out for lunch and dinner. Staff was very friendly and accommodating! Very clean.

This is our 6th year back and this place never disappoints. In addition to the fabulous location, there is so much to entertain our kids including the kids club. We also had a particularly wonderful housekeeper, Juli Ane, this trip. Thanks for another summer of family memories!

The people are awesome, very friendly and helpful. Its located right on the ocean with a beautiful beach. They have indoor and outdoor pools. The location is great with a lot of near by restaurants and fun things to do for kids and adults alike. Close to all different kinds of stores for shopping. Different day trips for whale watching or fishing are nearby. They have a kids club during the day for children with so many different activities for them to enjoy. It's just an awesome place.

Great oceanfront room with deck and access to beach.
Was difficult finding our room but didn’t get good directions from front desk. I had my 2 granddaughters with me and we were walking all over the place.
Finally a gentleman helping outside had a valet help us with baggage.
Buffet was perfect for young children.

Wonderful location, right on the water. The views from our room were beautiful. Our room was clean but the bed was not very comfortable and the sheets felt very starchy. The pools were nice, indoor and outdoor, they were enjoyable and right in front of the ocean which was very nice. We ordered lunch from the restaurant and it was expensive and decent but not worth the price. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to the red jacket resorts.

Beautiful Resort right on the beach. Our room was clean and modern. Private beach access and other amenities were top-notch. The on-site restaurant and bar were also quaint but cool. The two pools on the resort we're both very large and clean. Resort staff was friendly, helpful & professional. Would definitely return here again.

Well maintained property, super friendly and accommodating staff. We had a family river side room on the first floor. Great views, lots of room for the kids to play, nice patio. Beautiful beach, 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor. Lots of activities for the kids! We had a blast and will definitely return!

Attended a local event in the area, and we lodged at the Red Jacket. From start to finish, the staff was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and well attended on a daily basis. The food in the restaurant was very good, and they had a great tea selection, which makes me happy. The only con I can think of is that the mattresses may be in need of updating, as they seemed well used. Not a show stopper, but a thought for improvement. All in all, a very nice stay!

The resort is beautiful. The beach was wonderful! Lots of space to spread out! The slope into the water was very gradual and we never felt like we had to worry about our 2 year old son around the water. The sand was perfect sand castle sand so make sure you bring your sand tools and toys. They had a waitress come around and offer you a variety of beverages. I did not partake but others in my party did and they said it was good. We did not stay overnight but the lobby and the rooms looked nice. I felt like I was almost at a Caribbean resort. Great place for a family.

The resort is a very good value for what is offered. The rooms are good, and spacious, but not great. The bathroom in particular needed an update. The service was excellent, and this is, as far as I can tell, the BEST beach on the cape. We didn't eat at the resort much during our week, and the food was so-so, but seemed a good value. There are many excellent restaurants in the area.

I will definitely return to this resort! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent… private beach on the end of street but yet close to everything. Rooms were spacious and the indoor pool was good on bad weather days. The outdoor pool is wonderful — dolphin fountains and outdoor eatery. There is a canopied area with couch loungers overlooking the beach that’s perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails. There is also live music every night and daily activities for all ages! The staff also puts out the loungers and umbrellas on the beach. Awesome resort (and there is a spa! ).

My wife and I stayed here for just 2 nights. You can't beat the location, I mean they have there own section of beach. It's a very nice place for the price and the room was clean. Wasn't too bad for the price.

The Red Jacket in is a great place to stay. It has a great view of the ocean and a private beach area. It also has an indoor pool with a hot tub and outdoor pool. I recommend this place if you want to check out Cape Cod.

The staff was great. Rooms are clean. Location being on beach with multiple beaches within 5 minute drive. Pool and vollyball net fun place to stay.

I'm here during a bit of a down time from high season. With an oversize vehicle at that time the parking is ample. Checking in was very complicated as it was a group check in and only one card was used for multiple rooms. Each person in one of the rooms had to give their card for incidentals. This complicated and extended the check in time by quite a bit. Although the room are a bit rustic, they are comfortable and clean. There is very good access to the ocean from all rooms. The anemities in the facilities are quite nice. With the sliding glass doors to each room that lead outside it can get pretty noisy with the party crowd. There is a restaurant, although I have not had the opportunity to try it.

Had a great time. Room was very clean. Had a nice view of the ocean. My only complaint is the trash cans are ridiculously small.

I loved coming here. It had beautiful views, a beach and a river. They served breakfast and dinner, a buffet and a menu available. The rooms are clean with an attached deck so you can walk out if you like. Not all of the rooms are facing the water but they're still good none the less. The employees are great, very attentive to your needs. The building is handicapped accessible in case you were to need that. Flowers are blooming practically everywhere in the spring/summer. I don't know what it's like in the other seasons though, I've never been there during those times of the year. They have two pools. An indoor one that has a ping pong table next to it. On the floor above the indoor pool there is a work out room, you can see both of the pools from it. The second pool is outside. It has a dolphin spurting water from its mouth into the pool. They also have a camp for children. They play sports, color free Red Jacket t-shirts they get for being in the camp. They do arts and crafts, and they also have occasional other activities. Such as a magician, a temporary tattoo artist, a petting zoo, or a bus full of games. It can be cold when the wind is rather harsh, but other times the weather is nice and warm. I recommend Red Jacket.

Very disappointing "resort. " We checked in and out within 3 hours. Our $1, 000 weekend beach front room that we booked 2 months prior for a special occasion had no hot water. Maintenance was unable to find a solution and there were no rooms available. Thankfully we were able to receive a refund for the cost of the weekend. This is besides the fact the buildings are poorly maintained at best, with stained drapes and carpets. The queen beds are actually full size and the furniture, wallpaper, carpet, and decour are outdated. Do not stay here!

The resort itself has a nice New England charm, and the food is great. The beach, that the resort sits on, is gorgeous. Definitely a nice place to spend the weekend.

A little aging furniture, but also at the end of the season still heated outdoor pool. Great location, very well maintained facility.

We have done a girlfriends 4 day getaway at the Red Jacket for the past 3 years and already booked for next year. We usually stay in one of the townhouses which are great! We booked a little later this year and stayed in the 3 bdrm 1.5 bath ranch house. Loved the open concept of the living space and bedrooms were fine. Both bathrooms need attention tho! Peeling wallpaper and extremely slow draining tub were unacceptable. We booked to be back at the townhouse with a great ocean view. Love the pool area and beach. We always travel in September and have lucked out with beautiful weather.

We've been going to the Red Jacket for a few years now, and we've always enjoyed the stay. The staff is ready to serve you for anything. We've enjoyed both the beach and pools, and its location is convenient to many restaurants and attractions.

The resort itself is beautiful — oceanside with plenty of views from the rooms. I had a ground-level room looking out over the Parker River. Very scenic. However, if you're looking for a place to avoid kids, this is not the place to go. Thankfully, I naturally wake up at 6am every morning — otherwise I'd have been woken up by the kids upstairs every morning (they appeared to enjoy early-morning sprint tests from one end of the room to the other…).

This a very family friendly beach front resort with a lovely private beach. The staff is very friendly and there always seem to be chairs and towels available at both indoor and outdoor pools and beach. There are daily fun activities and the restaurant is pretty good. The rooms are dated but functional and generously sized for families. It's a relaxing easy to like place for a family vacation.

Didn't stay at the hotel but had access to the beaches since we stayed at a associated hotel. Very kid friendly atmosphere but since we didn't have kids the bar seemed a bit lacking. The beach however was amazing and worth the 5 minute drive to get there.

The stunning close up views of the ocean from this beach front resort are of the utmost! High quality bedding is fresh! There seemed to be many people available to serve. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

It's a family resort which is dated. They have been doing some upgrades. The landscaping and outdoor areas are very good. The rooms vary but are on the bigger side. The Wi-Fi depending on what side you are on can be limited. Certain areas in the compound do not have cell signal. I love the pool area! The staff is the best I have seen in years. It is a solid three star rating. See the attached picture of my bathroom room 270! The view and the wonderful ocean breeze plus the Wi-Fi on that section was great but cell service not. I had walk in the middle of the parking lot to make a call. I have been coming to this resort for 10 plus years.

Great location right on the beach and a great pool area for all ages. Also the Continental breakfast is really good. The rooms are very spacious and all have a great view of the ocean and pool area.

I like the location. The facilities are not a 5 start resort but the suit/ocean view that I had was nice and open with a great view of the ocean. The pools were great and ar the beach they had people to help you with chairs and umbrellas if you wanted.

Awesome Place for vacation! I originally booked two bed suit facing the parking lot but the management complimentary upgraded me to a cottage! A three bed room townhouse facing the beach! And it was just awesome! Their customer service, room service, cleanliness just everything. The cottage was fully equipped (littlest thing you thin of were here). We stayed for two days and we totally loved it. Their private beach is so pretty and worth exploring. They have a great deal for whale watching too if you book through them. I totally recommend Red Jacket over any nearby beach resort!

As soon as we arrived there was an issue. When I checked in I was told that we were staying in 1 room for the first night and then had to move to a different room the next day, staff was rude and would not accommodate us to stay in the initial room. My children were very upset because the first room was on the first floor and they could play outside on the grass. The second day we spent half of our morning re-packing so we could be moved upstairs. Of course the upstairs room wasn't ready for us, so we had to leave all our belongings in the room so the staff could move them up for us, they didn't know what room we were going to be in and couldn't give us keys. We were out for the day and didn't return until 10PM. We got the keys when we arrived, no staff members showed us where our room was, so that was ALOT of fun at 10 at night with 3 kids searching for a room. Parking was a huge issue, not enough spaces at all. 1 night I had to make my own space, I had to call the front desk to be sure my car wasn't towed. There really should be 1 numbered and designated spot per room to alleviate this issue. The AC in the room was awful and the chair on our balcony was broken, I called twice about it and it wasn't replaced. This was suppose to be a vacation, but it was nothing but STRESS STRESS STRESS.

We stayed in one of the cottages to attend a wedding and the accomodations and views were great!

I attended their yarmouth massachusetts location for the oceanside magic international convention and everything was beyond satisfaction.

I've been going to Red Jacket every summer for the 15 years. My childhood is, Red Jacket. I'll always love the memories and the staff, for they have watched me and my crazy family grow. However, they have new management and it changed the atmosphere of our stay. It's every expensive with little to no benefit or inclusions. Despite the price, I will slags love this place and it'll always be my home.

The Red Jacket setting was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. We thought it was perfect. Little did we know that the staff, especially Linda Boyer, were equally perfect. We were treated as though we were the only ones at the resort! Linda was with us every step of the way with amazing ideas and an amazing way to help calm the nerves that planning a wedding can bring. We will be making this a yearly trip, we can't wait to take advantage of some of the exciting activities they have for the kids. I think that Linda and the staff truly worked hard to make not only our wedding day special, but the whole weekend we were there. We stayed for several days after the wedding and the staff (including Linda) continued their top notch service. Our whole wedding party had a great time and several guests will also be returning next year because of the awesome experience they had. Thanks Linda and the whole Red Jacket crew.

Another great family vacation at the RJI. It's always nice going back to see what's new as the resort is ever evolving. This year there where new corn whole games, the boat bar was expanded with a terrific grille menu and the kids entertainment menu was off the charts. Next year is booked and we can't wait!

Have been here 4 times. Enjoyed my stay a lot. Hopefully I'll get to come back to this place again. In my top 5 resorts on the planet. Thanks for a great 5 days.

We just returned from four days at your Yarmouth resort. This was out fifth stay, and each visit was as nice as the last visit. Historically we book in August, however this time we came early in the season due to a difficult year. I personally felt no reason to leave the resort, which brings me to why I found it necessary to write. As usual we had a beautiful ground floor river side room, directly facing the dock. i could not help notice how well the water sport concession was run. It seems that there was a great amount of thought and detail went into each sport, and lastly everyone left with a smile.

Nice pools and beach! Rooms are outdated and service could be better. Everyone seems lost and nobody answers the phone! Trying to schedule a massage for 3 days and keep receiving a message they will call me back.

Just came back from staying 2 nights with my 3 Grandsons who were on school vacation ages 6, 8 and 9. They had a great time and were kept busy with activities. Loved the beach and pool. Restaurant was very reasonable and had children's menu. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Great place to take kids.

My son was injured because of a fresh nail not secured on a severely split piece of wood on our deck, it took a large chunk of skin from the bottom of his foot. It took his injury for the resort to replace the board appropriately. No follow-up after we explained he was injured, mentioned again upon checkout and little or no response. Since they had no response, I finally asked politely who do I call to discuss the doctor's bill after we return home, they said I could review with the Manager, that would have been the time to get the Manager in my mind. I submitted my comments and emailed the resort. Almost 10 weeks later, no response, but a ton of marketing emails. The resort is well situated on the bay, no waves and plenty of seaweed to swim through. The rooms are dated and no where near a great deal at $300+/night cost, horrible value. People say it's Cape Cod charm, it's not charming to feel uncomfortable in a musty, dated room.

Right on the water. Great views. Nice staff. Great place for a wedding.
